Ronald Cheng has allegedly betrayed his wedding vows for getting close to Fala Chen. Although he has been plagued with numerous scandals since his debut, Ronald became a reformed man after marrying and having a child with former anchorwoman Sammie Yu. The 42-year-old, who returned home early every day and was often seen on outings with his wife and daughter, was hailed as a model husband and father.

Recently, Ronald is co-directing new film Cheung Po Tsai, which stars multi-hyphenate Dayo Wong and Fala. Rumour has it that Ronald has admired Fala for some time – immediately recommending her for the female lead when Shu Qi rejected the role – and promised to shoot her to fame.

Last week, the production team headed to Cheung Chau, for a 4-day location shoot. Ronald refused to allow his wife and daughter to visit the set, claiming that their presence would be affect his concentration in directing. However, an insider revealed that without his wife and daughter there to keep an eye on him, Ronald often got intimate with Fala while directing her poses. The two even allegedly hung out together by the beach late at night, attracting the jealousy of Fala’s co-star, Chinese actress Zhao Shuo.

However, Fala Chan, Karena Ng and Evelyn Choi etc attended the "Makeup art exhibition" yesterday. Speaking about the rumours that Ronald was trying to get close to Fala when they were in Cheung Chau shooting the movie "Secret Treasures", Fala said "I have nothing to say, I am a bit unhappy about it, for so many years now I have been working, there are always rumours, what a nonsense! We only worked for a few days together."

As for Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), she supported her 'sister' and said "Fourth sister, it does not matter and like what you have said, there are others who love and show concern for you and we need positive energy." Subsequently, Nancy accepted a telephone interview and said "This is too much and it bothers me when I see such negative remarks. However, I do not feel mad as I do face some negative comments on my blog at times. It does not affect me but made people feel irritated." Although the negative news was continuing, but many fans supported Nancy and left their messages on her blog: "People who love you is way more than people who hate you. We support you!"

Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝) accepted an interview from the radio station and when talked if she will announce her next relationship, she expressed there was no need to announce and explain for being single. Cecilia said "Unless they attacked my loved ones. I usually remain silent even if others have misunderstandings towards me" She revealed that she will fight for it before she was married in the past, but remained silent now even 'bitten' during the relationship due to two kids after her divorce. Cecilia said "It is pointless for my children to call many uncles if I feel that person is not the right one. Secondly, that person must be from another industry, as artiste has to continue developing their career despite reaching fifty years old and has to take into consideration of the media and fans. Hence, it is more difficult to get along."

When asked about the appropriate tactics to woo her, Cecilia disclosed only one tactic is enough to move her and said "As long as he does not mind I am an artiste and the media writes about him, plus treats me as a normal human being. I also need to eat, drink and go to the washroom but do not require any batteries or fuel. I will then follow him regardless of any incidents and he must be able to move me. He does not need to be rich or ambitious as love is the most important. Moreover, I have sufficient money and can take a luxury car today or a bus tomorrow. Chow Yun Fat (周潤發) also takes MTR in Hong Kong (香港)."

Discussing about the holiday destinations for dating, Cecilia chose Japan (日本) and Thailand (泰国) but when talked about many Hong Kong people went there for holidays as well, she replied married for five year but divorced for four years and it had been about ten years since she last went for dating to Japan. Lastly, she jokingly mentioned she should look for a boyfriend first.

Cho Lam jokingly mentioned it could be used during honeymoon and said "We are planning towards the marriage direction but do not have time to get married now and will raise money first. He said "That person provides the wrong information. I rent the place for working purpose only and do not hire illegal staff at all. The person is from the same industry and I know who that person is. Most likely, he or she wants to set a 'trap' for me. (Offend any people?) Nope, perhaps he or she feels that I offend him/her or jealous of me. Hopefully he/she will not slander me again. Otherwise, I will take legal actions. (How is your mood?) It does not affect me and I am happy." Leanne (beside him) supported her lover, Cho Lam and said "The mood is not affected and forget about that person!"

Yesterday Ruco Chan, Eddie Kwan and Shirley Yeung attended the promotional event of new short series ICAC Investigators 2014. Eddie expressed when he was working in Thailand earlier, he didn't know what was going on until his wife sent him the clips. Even his friends couldn't help but tease that he jumped to the moon. Ruco expressed all the jokes Netizens made proves that there are many people chasing the series. That's better than being unnoticeable. He laughed: "I told Eddie he's very popular lately. So amazing."

Shirley makes a comeback to acting in this series. It was reported Shirley renewed her contract with TVB for a lower pay? She said: "I'm not sure! Its negotiable, but the development at TVB is great. How would there be a lower pay." U - U Magazine ; A - Aimee ; R - Ron

U: Ruse of Engagement had a lot of action scenes, did you get injured from filming?

R: There was one training scene, I was climbing up to an area where I couldn't see the copper bar and so it hit my eye. I was sent to the hospital immediately, but luckily it didn't injure my eye. Action scenes may just be a short scene, but it can take 3 days to film. Also, we were filming in the bitter heat and had to wear a full gear, it was extremely difficult. If you don't have enough rest, it can get really dangerous.

A: I only sprained my ankle and got a little burn. There was one explosion scene, although I applied fire protective gel, I still got hurt. Perhaps I'm a little tomboy, I really wanted to do the action scenes, and after filming this series, I think you can control the action scenes, but you cannot control explosion scenes.

R: Its really hard to predict explosion scenes. Hong Kong is better, but you really can't predict anything in China. When I was filming Twin of Brothers, there was one scene about an explosion in the water that cause our boat to lose control. We didn't know where the explosive was, we just saw 4-5 bread-like material floating around besides the boat. I took a glance and boom... the explosion happened right before my eyes. I couldn't see anything.

A: Oh My God... I do indeed want to try a role I haven't done before. Such as a fighter girl. I think that's really cool, fun and challenging. However, if its like how he described it, 4-5 break-like material floating around, then maybe not!

R: If you have the chance to film in China and encounter explosion or hanging on wire scenes, you really have to get a good understanding and the details. Don't want to get into trouble.

A: That's true. Nowadays I can't be like how I used to be, don't care about anything. Although when it airs, I can look better on screen, but one time there was one scene I didn't realize how close the broken glass was near my face and my eyes until I watched the playback.

R: What a big deal! Ah Mo (Moses Chan) must have been upset to death!

"It's Your Important Scene, Nobody Can Rush You"

U: Ruse Of Engagement was filmed three years ago. Looking back now, what do you see that is lacking from three years ago?

A: Three years ago, I never portrayed such a cool character before. I remember at first I wanted to just use my eyes to do the acting and have no other expression. I think I could just try to look strong and tough, or maybe put away my smiles. I was all stiff.

R: I had some areas that needed improvement, such as my scenes with my mother (Louise Lee) and brother (Ruco Chan) and my reactions when I was pursuing Aimee. Actually I could do better at the parts where I react to Kenny Wong. However, can't say anything now since it is three years ago. Today, I'll use a different style to portray the role."

U: You two collaborated before in Forensic Heroes III, how have your partner changed?

R: When we first collaborated, she even had trouble speaking Chinese. I saw how much effort she put into trying to understand the script. When we were filming Ruse of Engagement, she asked me or the other artists what some of her lines meant. I remember one time we were filming a scene about Ruco missing, (to Aimee: do you remember?) I ran over to say something to you and you started crying...

A: I remember! Actually this is my first heavy series. I remember at the time I was really really nervous about that crying scene and I didn't know why I totally jumped out of character. I had no feeling whatsoever. Later, he (Ron) pulled me to the side and started talking to me...

R: I said to her, if in real life your boyfriend suddenly goes missing, what would you do? Once she thought about it, she started crying.

A: There was another scene that was very important to my role, I will never forget how I had to hold the sad mood for 16 hours. I never had that kind of experience better. It was really stressful. After about 13 hours, I already lost the mood and at the time I told everyone to give me a few more minutes, but I still didn't have the mood. My personality is I don't like to make people wait, I feel really bad if I do. However, Ron was great. He came over to me and said: "Take it slowly, this scene is very important to you. Nobody can rush you." I wasn't too familiar with him when we filmed FH3, and it wasn't until this series that I thought he's pretty cool and nice. He feels a little bit like a big brother to me.

R: I just wanted to be able to get off work (laughs).

A: Thank you so much. You know, at the time I was just too green (new). He might say he wanted to get off work now, but I know at the time he wanted to help me. So, I feel very comfortable collaborating with him.

R: She is someone who has to have experienced it before she can really get into the mood.

A: Actually I don't have many life experiences. My family of four is very complete. All I did when I was younger was go to school and haven't really been naughty before, so I don't have many life experiences.

R: Dating doesn't mean your naughty.

A: I didn't say anything about my dating experiences!
