Since Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) and Faye Wong (王菲) reconciled, Jennifer Tse (謝婷婷) has not seen the couple since the news broke out. Jennifer attended a jewelry event and said she will have to personally choose a Christmas present for Faye Wong. She said: "Their names can be engraved on a bracelet. This idea is thoughtful and I want to gift a my mummy and Faye one". (Whose name is going to be engraved in Faye's one?) Maybe engrave both their names (Faye and Nicholas). (Engrave sister-in-law?) That would be good, I think this will frighten her, in fact I think her name is pretty. Jennifer was asked whether she has plans to meet Faye during Christmas, she said: "I don't know, but I will not be going on a trip. (She is coming to Hong Kong?) That would be good. I haven't seen her! Jennifer was wearing a deep V dress and asked if she was more open after break up? She laughed and said: "No, I want more space to show the jewelry".

She was then asked whether she had princess disease causing the breakup with Sean (戴尚安). She said: "Every time there is a breakup, there would always be this kind of news. It would either say I'm not good enough or the other half is not good enough. I have learnt to be an independent person when growing up, so I don't have princess disease. I wouldn't be upset about it, because my brother told me that in this industry "If you want to eat salted fish, you must be prepared to endure the thirst (meaning: Take consequences of what you did). In fact before, me and Sean have discussed about how we should announce our breakup. Sean even said we should hold a press conference, but I think there is no need to. In the end, we decided to announce it online. (There was rumors you weren't good to Sean's mother?) Me and my brothers are always polite to the seniors. Our relationship is very good. When I was with Sean, I would see his mum more than seeing my family. We have a lot to talk about and we would often go online shopping!" She even gave her blessings to her ex-lover Andy On and Jessica C being together. There were rumors saying  Jessica is worried you and Andy On (安志杰) will get back together? She laughed and said: "I don't think it would happen. They are in their honey moon phase, they wouldn't care about other people.

TVB actor Wong Cho Lam recently denied rumours saying that he has actually popped the question to Leanne Li prior to the live-TV proposal during the TVB Anniversary Gala.

Previously, Netizens accused the actor of pretending to make a surprise proposal and that Leanne faked her shock to attract viewers to watch the Gala, in TVB's attempt to win viewership against HKTV.

Many claimed that both Leanne and Wong have already been engaged, as the former has even gone on an interview with a bridal magazine to talk about marriage.

However, according to HK Top Ten News, the actor, who attended the premiere of his new movie "Rise of the Legend" recently, swore that he had not proposed to Leanne prior to the Gala.

"I think people who said that probably has never been married or doesn't know anything about engagement. You don't propose first and talk about getting married later," said Wong.

He stated that both of them have always talked about marriage throughout their relationship, even before he popped the question.

"Even with marriage in mind, I still had to get blessings from Leanne's parents. And while a woman knows that she is in it for the long haul, she would still want to know how her man would propose," Wong said.

In regard to the fact that Wong has booked Disneyland as a venue for his banquet way before the proposal, Wong said that by that time, he had already received their parents' blessings and could not delay the bookings.

Wong stressed that everything was in place before the Gala, except his proposal.

According to HK Channel, Lily and Hinson were spotted on an outing together in Myeongdong, Seoul a couple of days ago.

As reported on Mingpao News, the actress, who attended the press conference of the upcoming TVB Anniversary Awards on 27 November, clarified that she has not been seeing a doctor or visiting a Chinese medicine clinic because of pregnancy like it was previously reported.

"It was just a beautiful misunderstanding. I am not pregnant, so you don't need to congratulate me," said Angela.

The 39-year-old actress said that it would be impossible for her to be pregnant since she has to perform various action and wire stunts for her new series, and dismissed the notion of keeping it a secret for the first three months as part of the Chinese tradition.

However, the actress added that she would always welcome an addition to the family.

"I want to have another child so that [my daughter] Alyssa has a sibling to accompany her. It doesn't matter whether it's a girl or a boy."

"I want a filial and selfless wife," said Bosco Wong, when asked about the woman of his dream in an interview with Oriental Daily News recently.

The actor, whose eight-year romance with Myolie Wu ended two years ago, and new relationship with model Vanessa Yeung ended after only a short while, stated that his ideal wife would be Nancy Wu's character in "The Ultimate Addiction".

"She has no need to cook since I cook all the time anyway, but every successful man would want someone who can help him take care of the business as well as the household, a selfless person who is not afraid to make sacrifices in order to resolve one's issues," said Bosco.

The actor admitted that such a wife is hard to find, though added that he has not set any time frame on when he should get married.

This year's TVB King and Queen will be revealed on December 15th, when the TVB Anniversary Awards are held. Last night was the "pre-battle" at "TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2014", held in the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands. Before the "real battle", Roger Kwok and Charmaine Sheh took the first dibs, and became double awarded TVB King and Queen (as they also won Fave Character awards). As for drama, "Line Walker", it swept a total of 12 awards, become the biggest winner of the night!

Yesterday night, TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2014 was held in Genting Highlands, Malaysia at the Arena of Stars. TVB siu sangs and fa dans including Charmaine Sheh, Roger Kwok, Linda Chung, Kate Tsui, Bosco Wong, Tavia Yeung, Him Law, Ruco Chan, Selena Li and Kenneth Ma, etc. attended in high fashion. Because this awards ceremony is seen as a pre-battle to the TVB Anniversary Awards in December, plus there were close to 200,000 votes in this year's results, the ceremony was highly anticipated!

"Ding Jeh" sweet talks

Charmaine Sheh's popularity rose once again after returning to TVB with her character in "Line Walker". Her outstanding performance in the show became a hot topic in the city, and is seen as the likely winner for TV Queen this year!
Charmaine Sheh wore a white night gown and showed up with Ruco Chan, one of the popular picks for TV King. Last month, she was crowned TV Queen at the Starhub TVB Awards in Singapore. This time, she was successful once again, and won "My Favourite TVB Actress in a Leading Role", beating the other hot favourite, Linda Chung. On stage, she said: "I didn't film a (TVB) drama for close to two years. So scared that you guys would forget me, but you didn't!" And even exposed some hard times while filming the drama: "Sammy got hurt, a lot of people were also sick, but everyone still stuck through it to complete it, because the motivation behind us is you guys!" She also sweet talked and told the audience to continue supporting TVB. Before winning "TV Queen", she had already won one of the "My Favourite TVB Drama Character" awards; therefore meaning she is a double award TV Queen!

On the other side, Roger Kwok's "evil" performance in "Black Heart, White Soul" shined in the audience's eyes and is one of the hot favourites for TV King; competing against Ruco Chan to be the "Malaysian TV King"! Roger, who had louder cheers, first took one of the "My Favourite TVB Drama Character" awards with his character, Matthew Ko in "Black Heart White Soul". Afterwards, he also successfully took home "My Favourite TVB Actor" to become a double award TV King! Before leaving for Malaysia, he had expressed that he hopes to claim the TV King award. When he went on stage to accept his award, he loudly yelled "Thank you!" He had been crowned TV King in 2003 and 2005 with his character as Ah Wong in the "Square Pegs" series. This year, he was successful once again. Becoming a 3 time TV King, he said "so scared" twice on stage, and even exposed that he broke down and cried before: "Really scared, really difficult to get this a third time. Need people's votes to get this too! When I filmed the drama, I didn't do it for awards. After it aired, the response was very good, so I felt that there was a chance! Especially when my TVB colleagues praised me, I immediately ran to the washroom and cried - so happy that I cried!" He also thanked his family and laughed saying: "When I go home, I don't use my "evil" expression to them!"

Myolie also said some good words about Cho Lam:  Don't be too cheeky, he is very brave and that was because everyone was there and timing was right.

The viewing for the TVB Anniversary Gala was average, Myolie said it is a good thing because: "It will help the company (TVB) to think about the improvements and moreover, it should also include the online views". When kept asking about the contract renewal issue, she continued to remain silent. She then said: "In fact, I will make the decision by mid next year the latest. Previously I did not have time to think about it because of work. I have a break this month, so I would think about it. I do have a strong bond with the company. (Taking the opportunity to go on a holiday?) "No one to accompany me". Although this year, Myolie has no dramas and therefore, no chance of receiving any awards this at the TVB Anniversary Awards ceremony. Approximately 200 artistes attended TVB's 47th Anniversary Gala to celebrate TVB's birthday last night. This year, $4,800,000 worth of prizes were given out in the lively atmosphere. There were many performances, including a magic performance by Wong Cho Lam. In the middle of the performance, Wong Cho Lam faked a mistake, being stuck in the magic box. But it was all to give Leanne Li a surprise proposal. Wong Cho Lam showed up with flowers and an enormous diamond ring and proposed to Leanne in front of all their co-workers on stage. Leanne cried accepting and took off her ring to wear the new engagement ring, while the crowd cheered for the couple.

34 year old, Wong Cho Lam (5 ft 3 in.) and 29 year old Leanne Li (5 ft 9 in.) have been in a relationship for 5 years. Finally, they are getting their happy ending. Yesterday, on TVB's Anniversary Gala broadcasted live on TV, Wong Cho Lam suddenly gave Leanne a surprise proposal in front of the audience and all of Hong Kong's viewers. Both of their parents were at the scene to witness the moment, and after a successful proposal, Wong Cho Lam happily shouted "I'm getting married!" Wong Cho Lam and Leanne Li's relationship was exposed in November 2010. Despite their height differences, their relationship has always been stable. Actually, the two had been dating since mid-2009. Before, Cho Lam had revealed that he felt that Leanne is a really good girl, so good that he didn't dare pursue her. But in the end, the two had good feelings for each other. Leanne praised Cho Lam for having a sense of responsibility, and was brave for confessing to her. During these 5 years, their relationship has been very sweet, and there were even many rumours of them getting married. Recently, Cho Lam even bought a luxury apartment worth approximately 10,000,000 HKD, in preparation for marriage.

Last night's performance segment had a magic performance led by Wong Cho Lam and Leanne Li. When Cho Lam was locked in the magic box in a metal gate, Leanne thought there was an accident, and was so scared that she teared up and said "What! Are you serious?" (Gao chor ah 搞錯呀). At this moment, Wong Cho Lam appeared again with a big bouquet of flowers in accompany of his "brothers", Roger Kwok, Bob Lam, Oscar Leung, Amigo Choi, King Kong and Louis Cheung, and proposed on one knee: "You said you wanted a surprise proposal, so a group of us thought for a long time and felt that tonight is the day that everyone can be here, so I chose today. We met through being artistes, and we were very different. You were a beauty pageant champion, I was a kids show host. I'm really short, and you're really tall, I'm very complicated, you're very simple Thank you god, for letting us meet... No matter how difficult it was to pursue you, being able to marry you would be my life's biggest blessing!" He then took out an enormous diamond ring, while Leanne cried, accepting his proposal. Then, Cho Lam's mother and Leanne's parents both appeared to give them their blessings, while Ram Tsang sang "Love is Forever" in the background. The crowd cheered for the couple, and Leanne and Cho Lam's friends all rushed up to congratulate them. The scene was indeed very touching.

Bride-to-be: Don't want a next time!

Afterwards, Cho Lam and "Mrs Wong-to-be", Leanne accepted the media's interviews and blessings. Leanne stated that she was very surprised: "Scared to death! Don't want a next time! I didn't know my parents came back from Canada! (Really want to marry? You took off your own ring right away!) I really didn't know beforehand, but I am ready (for marriage)." Reporters asked if Leanne had waited a really long time (for this), Cho Lam quickly answered: "It's me who waited for so long! Need to take this opportunity!" Cho Lam had actually prepared for Leanne's parents to come from Canada ahead of time for this surprise. Leanne's good friends, Eliza Sam, , Sarah Song, Christine Kuo, Linda Chung and Grace Wong rushed up to Leanne and gave her a hug to congratulate her on stage.

Aside from this, Wayne Lai led his "Overachievers" partners, Raymond Wong, Raymond Cho, Edwin Siu and Power Chan in a comedic skit on stage. In a scene, Edwin Siu wore a wig, pretending to be Sisley Choi and pretended to make out with Raymond Cho. Wayne then said: "Did you ask Priscilla BB first?", joking about Edwin and Priscilla's relationship in the open. When asked about Cho Lam's proposal, Wayne stated that he didn't know about it beforehand, and was very touched: "This is great! In the future, it will be TVB's anniversary, and also his proposal anniversary! Proposing live on TV is so courageous!" Raymond Cho laughed saying: "See if Edwin Siu would dare!" Wayne replied: "Okay! We will help him prepare it next year!"
Louis Cheung also commented (on the proposal): "When I was rehearsing with Leanne yesterday, she was very worried about Cho Lam getting hurt (during the performance), I almost couldn't bear it (the secret), but I also think it's very romantic. I was very nervous the whole time. From being classmates with Cho Lam till now, I've been with him at every stage of his life. Leanne is a good girl, I am really happy for them. So touched."
Linda Chung, who is good friends with Leanne, revealed that she already knew during the rehearsal, but she kept it from Leanne: "At that moment, I was very touched. I witnessed them being friends, dating, and now they have a happy ending. Really happy that my friend can find a good husband."

Eric Tsang helped plan the proposal

After the gala, Eric Tsang and other artistes, Nat Chan, Charmaine Sheh, Luisa Lai, Virginia Lok went to a hot pot restaurant in Cheung Sha Wan to celebrate TVB's birthday and Wong Cho Lam's successful proposal. Eric laughed saying he is very happy because Cho Lam waited a long time to propose. He said: "After Leanne's parents agreed to the two getting married, Cho Lam called me saying he wants to find a chance to announce this. He asked, how he should announce it? I said, leave it to me." In the end, they decided to propose at TVB's Anniversary Gala: "He was scared it would be too big. I said, you want Leanne to be happy, and want to share with your "brothers" and "sisters", the gala is the best opportunity." He also expressed that other than being able to surprise Leanne and making her very happy, he is also glad that everyone could feel their love.

Eric admitted that they only let Cho Lam's buddies know about the proposal the night before at 6pm, and Leanne's friends only knew the day of the gala at 6: "Having something to say but not being able to say it is very painful!" Asked if he is satisfied with this "daughter-in-law" (as he sees Cho Lam like his son)? He admitted that he has always been satisfied: "She is a very simple natured girl." He exposed that there is a big chance that the two will hold their wedding next Valentine's Day. Asked if he will host their wedding? He replied: "Definitely!"

In the series, Overachievers (名門暗戰), it was Raymond's first time to act as villain and he suffered from insomnia while filming the series. He said: "The role changes from good to bad and many grey areas too. I suffer from insomnia due to pressure when filming this series. The role involves many weird logics and does not feel that he is wrong. He will destroy it even fails to achieve it." In fact, villian role was more eye catching and when asked if he will fall in love to act as a villian, Raymond said: "It is best to keep changing and there will be a comedy series later. I do not resist to act as villain as there is more developments. This is a good chance for me to test water and hope to be scolded when I walk in the street."

Kenneth Ma may be one of TVB’s most eligible bachelors, but recent photographs of his flabby body caused ripples of laughter among TVB artistes, who advised Kenneth to keep his shirt on next time. Taking a break from filming, Kenneth and a couple of his friends played soccer during a warm afternoon. Nothing was out of the ordinary during their game until Kenneth took off his T-Shirt during break. Kenneth’s upper body showed signs of a muffin-top and a rather flabby abdomen. However, the tight pants also revealed the hard outline of his groin as Kenneth drank water, snacked and walked about the ball field.

Unfortunately for Kenneth, his topless photos circulated quickly. When Myolie Wu was shown the photos by the press, she said awkwardly, "What do you want me to say?" Myolie said Kenneth’s pants were too tight and he should wear looser ones next time. Although Myolie did her best to suppress her giggles, Christine Ng did not bother covering up her laughter when her eyes fell on the pictures. While Priscilla Wong chose not to comment, her eyes evidently widened at Kenneth’s pictures.

Vincent Wong, who is known for his muscular physique, awkwardly commented, "I think…that’s considered fit too." He also added that Kenneth should wear a shirt because of the cold weather. On the other hand, Kenneth’s rumored girlfriend, Mainland model Jackie X spoke up for him. Feeling rather defensive, Jackie commented, "I think he’s very tall. I never saw him with tight pants before, but I think it’s normal that men have a little stomach [flab]. Men and women are like that – sometimes you can eat a little too much and it’s inevitable that you’ll have a little stomach [flab]!"

Grace Chan may be the kind of person who can shake off romance rumours with her drama co-stars, but the beauty queen recently confessed that speculations of rivalry between her and fellow Miss HK alum Sisley Choi bothers her a lot.

In an interview with Mingpao News, the 2013 Miss Hong Kong winner, who has continuously been pitted against the first runner-up since their debut with TVB, said that she is quite upset by the rumours of rivalry due to their friendship and obvious unique traits.

"Sisley and I are completely different to one another, in terms of our personality, image, and even acting styles. I don't see the need for us to be compared," she said.

She continued, "I wish the media would make comments about me individually, rather than make comparisons between us."

However, Grace said that she is grateful that their friendship has never been affected by such rumours, and that they would call each other when there is such a report, to make sure that they are both okay.

"I really don't want to lose Sisley as a friend," said Grace.

In related news, the "Overachievers" star will have three new series with TVB in 2015, including "Quid Pro Quo" and "Captain of Destiny".

Kevin Cheng has recently dismissed rumours saying that he will reduce his acting work due to health issues.

According to UDN News, previously, it was reported that the actor has been suffering from several diseases, including mild hypertension and diabetes.

The actor reportedly had to withdraw from a couple of mainland dramas earlier this year due to his condition. Aside from that, Kevin's vision is reportedly getting worse since his injury during the filming of the mainland drama, "Ip Man", back in 2012.

However, the actor had since dismissed the rumours as false.

In a telephone interview with the media recently, the actor assured that he is in good health.

Chris Lai and 2 year girlfriend, Nicole Lee, who participated in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant a few years back, finally got married on the 11th of November. They held a 24 table banquet at Hong Kong Parkview. However, even until today, since the beginning of the relationship, there were always negative news surrounding the pair, as Nicole is the heiress of her father's 500 million dollar company, while Chris' financial situation is far off compared to that. Chris could only bear with the news, but he used action to prove himself, as the wedding fees were all paid by him this time. Asked if they will hurry and try to have a baby after marriage, the couple expressed: "Not yet, two person world first!"

In the afternoon, Chris Lai and his bride, Nicole Lee, met the media in their wedding outfits. The bride wore a 5 carat diamond necklace with earrings, looking extremely elegant. When the two took photos for the media, they posed and kissed sweetly twice as requested by the reporters. Chris revealed that when he read his vows, he kept stumbling, which his wife laughed at him for.

Asked how much the wedding cost, Chris replied that it is a secret: "The most important is that my wife is happy. The bill hasn't been given to me yet." The bride, Nicole Lee, added: "We haven't swiped the card yet, we will pay tonight." Asked who is responsible for paying, Chris said: "I am paying for everything."

The car used to pick up the bride on their wedding day was not under the groom's name. Chris expressed that the car is his father-in-law's. As for reports saying that Chris is "marrying into" the Lee family, he helplessly said: "Can't do anything about it. I will have to respond to tomorrow's news. It's okay as long as me, my wife and our family understands. We also understand that there is disparity in our wealth, but I will work hard and pull the distance closer. Hopefully time will prove everything." Asked about the rumours of the female side buying a house for him, Chris revealed that after marriage, he and his wife will be living in his village house in Tai Po. The main reason is so that it is convenient for him to go to work and film for "Come Home Love". They will not move into the new house that has just been renovated in Yuen Long yet. They will wait for "Come Home Love" until next June and then consider to move in. Although he just got married, he only took a 3 day break; therefore the honeymoon will have to wait until he finishes work. However, they have already planned a one month long trip to Australia to enjoy their alone time. Speaking of the couple's relationship being "the woman above the man" (due to their wealth difference), Chris honestly said: "It's not a problem as long as the female side understands. I will continue to work hard and earn money. I've always had a good relationship with my wife's family. They see me as their own son too."

The eight groomsmen on the big night included actors, Ekin Cheng, Wong Yi Man and Patrick Tang. Celebrity guests included Linda Chung, Joey Law, Lisa Chong, Roxanne Tong, Yoyo Mung, Moses Chan, Sharon Chan, Christine Ng, etc. Linda Chung expressed that back then, she and Chris Lai were also part of "TVB 12 Stars". They've known each other and grown together for 10 years. Witnessing the moment of him getting married, she was touched to tears.

Yesterday, Chris accepted a phone interview and expressed: "Really need to thank my wife. The wedding banquet was decorated very nicely, in a fantasy theme. Everyone had a great time. (Did groomsmen, Ekin Cheng and Patrick Tang sing to lift up the atmosphere?) I wanted them to sing too! But in the end, I sang "Only Love You This Lifetime", so instead, they became my human metronome." His wife, Nicole, also sang; singing a song for their two mothers. She became so touched that she cried while she sang.
