Power Chan faces forced withdrawal from TVB series: It is a person's problem

Power Chan (陳國邦) and Mimi Lo (羅敏莊) film new series, (VR驅魔人) by ViuTV at Ap Lei Chau. He says: "It has been more than 10 years since we film drama together and considered our first time to act as a couple together this time. We used to film series with other artiste as couples and our friends comment they are unused to seeing it. I did discuss with the film producer and must act with Mimi as a couple since we are open all the way."

Mimi reveals she puts in full efforts in this series and says: "Power and I even rehearse together at home and approach our family for help. Everyone is aware we have a daughter and need to seek her permission before filming series. I arrange her to say at her granny's house last night as the maid is on leave today. Otherwise, how can I manage it?"

Asking about the forced withdrawal from TVB series, Justice Pao (包青天) due to participating in other drama, Power says: "It is the company and a person's problem. Honestly, the production and crew teams feel disrespectful but the news may not report it as they work behind the screen. (Feel very mad?) Nope but they should explain clearly even if we may not collaborate in the future. ViuTV's senior management did call to apologise to me and some TVB staff feel it is really not a problem. (Not working with TVB again in the future?) Perhaps they may have a change of management one day and some problem may not lie with the company but the way of handling it by other people."

Kenneth Ma hopes to travel together with Jacqueline Wong: Character is most important

Etta Ng promises to return the things to her mother, Elaine Ng and keep in contact

A case of burglary happened in Elaine Ng's (吳綺莉) house last month and she lodged a police report. However, it turned out that her daughter, Etta Ng (吳卓林) returned to their house to retrieve her belongings with her friend and their mother and daughter relationship turned to ice again. Elaine admits to not seeing Etta for several months during an interview but they did celebrate 18 year old Etta's birthday together a few days ago.

Kay Tse makes a comeback because Louis Cheung is "frozen" by TVB?

Louis Cheung (張繼聰) has been working for TVB in recent years and he is pointed to be "frozen" by TVB due to his absence in TVB Anniversary Gala (萬千星輝賀台慶) show earlier.

The story goes from Louis signs contract with Stephen Shiu Jr.'s (蕭定一) company in August 2017 and TVB is currently having a lawsuit with Stephen due to the problems for shooting Return of the Cuckoo film. Since Louis has signed contract with Stephen, he will not be spared as well.

Hence, Louis's manager says: "Based on my understanding, no "frozen" at all and it is best to ask TVB directly. Louis continues to promote My Ages Apart (誇世代) series until now."

Power Chan (陳國邦) announced his departure in last October due to his disappointment with TVB but he returns to film TVB sitcom. Come Home Love: Dinner at 8 (愛‧回家之八時入席) after 2 months later and the broadcasting will continue until next January. It turns out that he is supposed to film Justice Pao (包青天) series with Shaun Tam (譚俊彥) and Owen Cheung (張振朗) and try out his role image earlier, but Power is withdraw from it suddenly. Based on the news report, Power films the sequel and promotes ViuTV series, (身後事務所) and it causes the unhappiness to TVB senior management whom decide to withdraw him from the series and the show, (公公出埠).

Power admits to the magazine that he is withdrew from the Justice Pao series despite trying out the role image and shooting for the calendar. TVB only informs his manager and nobody explains to him personally. His manager tells him it is because of the shooting and promoting ViuTV series but he feels he has the responsibility to promote it as he is part of the cast team and a freelance actor with TVB only. It makes him feel deeply disappointed and disrespected as Power turns down 2 months job because of the series and show.

The reporters from Ming Pao (明報) contacts Power on 22 November and he says: "Thank you for the concern." He explains he cannot accept the interview now due to other workload now.

TVB forbids male artiste to expose their body? Louis Cheung says he does not need to exercise in gym daily

TVB forbids its female artiste to portray their sexiness and it causes a limit to rape and relationship scenes. On 15 November, Louis Cheung (張繼聰) says during an event: "I did receive the instruction and unaffected much but see Moses Chan (陳豪) and Sammy Leung (森美) every night now. Louis Koo has a series of misfortunes: I cannot sit down and lie down straight

Louis Koo's (古天樂) eyes have not recovered and he suffers from a serious cold and pelvis problem. He expressed he fell sick and lost his voice when filming in New Zealand earlier during a celebration party for L Storm (L風暴) film on 16 November.

Louis said: "My eyes will be fully recovered after 3 to 4 weeks time. I need to wear sunglasses during the day time and my back is extremely painful when waking up lately and the doctor tells me I have pelvis problem. As I need to film movie in Malaysia soon, I can only try my best to film action scenes now. (Reduce your workload?) Nope. It happen once or twice per year and I will recover after resting for a few days straight. I cannot lie down straight now and sitting down is also painful. I can only stand straight and the doctor has no solution. Perhaps it is related to the fees for filming action scenes after all."

Snow Suen continues to work when she is expecting with no pay? She says she is very mad

Snow Suen (孫慧雪) left an online message on 13 November and she had been trying to collect her pay from this June to November.
