Lawrence Ng entered the industry in 1983 after graduating from the 12th TVB Artistes Training Class. He started off playing villains and later switched to professional roles, such as doctors or strong businessmen. Lawrence frankly expressed he can fall for someone easily and therefore has had several rumors in the past with his co-stars. He was first rumored with his classmate Yammie Lam, then with Ada Choi in 1998 from Healing Hands, 2002 with Iva Law from Fate Twisters. Ada Choi's rumor drew the most attention. Although the two never officially developed a relationship, Lawrence admitted he really did fall in love with her!

LAWRENCE: "In 1998 I was shooting producer Gary Tang's Healing Hands. I portrayed neurosurgeon Dr. Ching Chi Mei (Paul), the role was very well-received and the pairing with Ada Choi was very popular. That year we won the Best On-Screen Partners award at the anniversary and even in 2001, we won the 'My Favorite On-Screen Partners' award for Healing Hands II. The pairing was well accepted and my "relationship" with Ada was even more expected.

Working with Ada, we really do indeed have a lot of chemistry, many people asked me if I developed actual feelings for her? At the time, neither of us were married yet, I saw she was a beautiful girl and pretty nice, I really did think about it! At the time, we continued collaborating in a few more times in other series and became friends. A couple starts off as friends, then develop mutual admiration and finally develop into deep love.

Although I am an actor, to me, acting and reality are actually about the same. Once the cameras start rolling, I treat it as if its real. In the series, I really did fall for Ada, but in real life she's actually very rough and mean, very much like a "big woman". Off screen, I really did have the feeling like love sparked, I really thought of pursuing her! Back then when we were in Files of Justice V, we were already playing a couple, then the second and third time was in Healing Hands. We slowly came into more contact, but Ada was upset because she said I only started talking to her after the second or third time we collaborated! That time, it was difficult to get out of character for me, perhaps I really had the feeling. I thought...actually Ada really isn't that rough after all! At the time, I didn't tell her [about the feelings]... I didn't have the courage to tell her! I have to really think about it first... we were initially good colleagues and if this ruins the relationship, that wouldn't be good! In the end, because I was afraid of damaging the relationship, the feelings eventually faded!

Then in Healing Hands III, we had already become very good friends. When Ada got married, she invited me to her wedding and usually when I come back to Hong Kong, I would go visit her too because I'm familiar with her husband (Max Zhang) too! We collaborated in a Mainland drama before, at the time the producer told me they were dating. I can say I watched them date and I'm happy that she found her Mr. Right. At the time, I also met my current wife (Sek Yeung Chi). Many fans have asked me about my "feelings" for Ada, and I have said it before on Weibo. Ada responded to me too, she said luckily I didn't actually liked her, otherwise I would be in such misery! Haha!

In 2002, when I collaborated with Iva Law in Fate Twisters, we developed feelings after seeing each other day and night. However, we were only together for a year. In between, I went to Beijing for work and found another girl, who was even more suitable for me. Unexpectedly the media started saying that I was a three-timer and called prostitutes. I was very upset, it was really hard to take. In the end, we broke up because of this incident."

Ada responded to Lawrence's confession that he did have feelings for her in the past. She said: "Of course I felt it. Actually I had several pursuers in this industry, I know clearly who I can only be friends with. After all, I won't risk losing my friendships!"

As Lawrence's good friend, Ada frankly expressed they have differences in their personalities, "It may not be his problem, it could be my problem. And I wanted to find a Christian boyfriend! (Convert him?) No, Lawrence was Christian too, but he later converted to Buddhism. But, Lawrence is a very loyal friend, he's a great friend. One time a PA asked us if he could borrow some money from us, but he sounded like he was lying to me, so I didn't agree to lend him the money. Lawrence, on the other hand, did lend him the money. Later, I asked Lawrence why he did that? Lawrence said the most important is to help the person first! So, I think he's a wonderful person!"

TVB artists Tavia Yeung, Tracy Ip and Sammy Sum are sure having bad luck! They all joined the 'injured group'. In June, Tracy fractured her right leg bone and a few nights ago, she injured her tail bone from an accidental fall at home. Yesterday she posted a picture of her X-ray on Weibo and shared her experience with the media over the phone: "I was walking into my room to answer a phone call, then I accidentally tripped and fell to the ground. My pat pat (butt) went straight to the floor. At the time, I heard something crack. I was so frightened I started getting cold sweat!"

She then crawled to her telephone and called her family for help. When she got to the hospital, the doctor said she fractured her tailbone. "The doctor said I was lucky that not all the pressure was placed on those bones, otherwise it would affect my fertility. However, I will have to rest for a month and have to be on bed rest for a few days." When asked if rumored boyfriend Matthew Ko called to comfort her? She said: "He already did, told me to be careful. (Will he visit you?) No! After I discharged from the hospital, I went straight home!"

Meanwhile, Tavia Yeung attended a shoe event and had a swollen foot. Her foot was so swollen it looked like 'pig trotters', but she still wore 2-inch heels. She revealed she injured herself while shooting a jumping off a high place scene for A Great Way to Care II earlier. She said: "I sprained my ankle before, but then I just kept on filming. I went to see the doctor and found out there is a fracture." As for the TV Queen battle, she frankly expressed she supports herself. When asked if she would support rumored boyfriend Him Law? She said: "I'm not sure if he [supports me], if so I will vote for him!" When speaking of Elaine Ng's "car sex" rumor, as someone who had personal experience, Tavia said: "Innocence is innocence. Don't try to hurt artists. (You were hurt earlier?) I was totally angry!"

Also, Sammy Sum revealed on Weibo he triggered old injuries to come back during dance rehearsal for the TVB Anniversary Gala performance. However, he'll still be shooting a car crash scene as scheduled. He said over the phone "I injured the ligament on my left foot. I injured it before when I was skiing, and I'll request to reduce dangerous action scenes."

Joey Yung and Denise Ho (Hocc) have been good friends for over 10 years. Since Hocc's ex-rumored boyfriend Wilfred Lau announced his relationship with Joey in June, it was rumored Hocc was so upset she unfollowed Wilfred and some other friends related to him on Weibo. Last Saturday, Hocc announced her true sexual orientation, that she is in fact a lesbian at the Hong Kong Gay Pride Parade. Joey instantly became the media's target for interviews and the other day, Hocc ends up dragging Joey into the situation when reporters asked if Joey is bisexual? She said: "It's hard to answer!" This left Joey in a troublesome situation.

Yesterday reporters contacted Joey's manager, Mani Fok, to ask her about Hocc's comment on Joey's sexual orientation. Mani said: "Joey will not be accepting interviews right now, she is in a very bad mood! (Because of Hocc's comment?) Actually Joey respects Hocc's personal decision, and as a friend she really does support her. However, Joey's emotions has been greatly affected by the comments made in the past few days. She broke down emotionally. All her colleagues and myself are very worried about her."

It was understood, Joey suddenly disappeared for two days and isolated herself at home, refusing to see anyone. Yesterday when she found out about Hocc's bisexual comment, she lost control and cried madly at home. Mani said: "Joey is a very hardworking artist. She had always been silently plowing through, keeping her family and relationships low-key. I hope she (Hocc) will respect Joey's views of keeping her relationships low-profile. However, Ms. Ho's comment has really triggered a lot of speculations that the public has on Joey, and this caused a troublesome situation for Joey. I suggested to Joey, that she should not respond to anything related to Denise Ho. I hope Miss Ho can really treasure Joey as her friend. Don't add to Joey's stress and don't hurt her anymore."

As Hocc expressed Joey supported her to "come out" [on her sexual orientation], Mani said: "As a friend, of course Joey will respect her decision. I think this is Ms. Ho's personal decision and action. While her action may have reduced her own pressures and she finally released herself, but at the same time the pressure shifted towards Joey. I don't think this is fair at all. If she is Joey's friend, then I hope she stops mentioning Joey."

Twins hope Joey emotionally recovers soon

Joey's good friends and colleagues Twins (Ah Sa and Ah Gil) hoped she'll get better soon. Ah Gil expressed: "Denise Ho released herself after announcing her sexual orientation, I'm happy for her. But, I don't want this to be troubling Joey. I hope she can live her life the way she wants and not be affected by this issue." Ah Sa said she won't try to contact Joey right now, but she hopes the public will give Joey some space, so she can emotionally recover. Ah Sa said: "I support homosexuals, and I have many homosexual friends. I don't think 'love' has to be separated by sex. I just hope the public will stop labeling homosexuals. Artists are humans too, they need their own personal space to develop relationships too. So, for now I won't try to contact Joey, I hope to give her more space to handle her emotions. Joey is a very very good girl, she is worthy of our love."
