Yesterday Myolie Wu attended a promotional event for a cup noodle brand. She said cup noodles give her an intimate feeling because when she was studying overseas, she relied on cup noodles and even brings a few along with her while she films outdoor scenes. At the event, Myolie happily took pictures with the cup noodle company's mascot "Ching Jai". Bosco Wong dressed up as "Ching Jai" at an event before, asked whether that was the reason why she gets such an intimate feeling? Myolie said: "I didn't know about that. We have been separated for so long, there's nothing between us."

However, earlier at the TVB Amazing Summer promotion, she only chatted with Kenneth Ma and neglected Bosco, whom was standing right besides her. Myolie explained: "We greeted one another, but nobody saw us. That day, Kenneth Ma kept telling me secrets and making me laugh. (Did you know Bosco and Bella Lam had rumors?) I'm not following his news nor will I ask about it. We don't want any more pressure." Myolie generously expressed she hopes Bosco finds his true love soon. "We've been separated for so long already, you don't have to be asking me every time. Actually neither of us are married, we each should have a new relationship. I also hope I can be in a relationship soon." Myolie also stressed she did not deliberately avoid Bosco, and that one day she will talk to Bosco right in front of the media, so the media can leave them alone.

As an artist, having a set image is a contradictory matter. On one hand, the artist is happy that the audience remembers them, but on the other hand there is fear that their stuck with that image and won't make a breakthrough. Cilla Lok is an artist experiencing this dilemma, she can't seem to get out of that cute and "little girl" image. She frankly expressed its time for her to grow up: "I need a breakthrough. Actually I am not that young, but I'm not too satisfied with my performance in the past few years. I really hope I can portray more mature and convincing roles in the future. I don't want to be a little girl anymore."

TVB's latest series Slow Boat Home is set in Cheung Chau. Cilla grew up in Tai O, she expressed returning to the outlying islands instantly gave her the feeling of "home". She said: "Although I didn't have that many scenes in Cheung Chau, I still get a close feeling when I go to Cheung Chau." Cilla portrays a young woman named Yoyo in the series, sometimes she's a well-behaved girl; sometimes she's a party girl; and other times she's a barbaric HK girl. Asked if Cilla is really a barbaric HK girl in real life? She said: "I'm not considered one, but I'm a little headstrong. Perhaps because my family had always been overprotective of me, so I'm really dependent and throw tantrums, but I really won't have 'princess illness' like I do in the series. I'm not as exaggerated as her, needing someone to do everything for her."

Since Yes Sir, Sorry Sir, Cilla has been crowned as the "HK Golden Goddess" and coincidentally she frequently plays a goddess with several guys around her. Is it because portrays her roles too well? But Cilla is frequently misunderstood that she has just as many guys circling her in real life. Cilla said helplessly: "Actually that is not the case. I think its strange too, the media always say I'm everyone loves me, but the truth is I have nothing! Actually I'm worried too, how the audience thinks of me I won't feel unhappy, but I still want to clear my name." Cilla explained she has a broad-minded personality, she doesn't pay attention to details and is straightforward, that's why she likes to hang out with guys more.

Natalie Tong is Her Goal

In her acting career, Cilla is usually somebody's little sister. Actually, Natalie Tong had a similar experience, she started off playing little sister roles, but now Natalie has changed her image and had a huge breakthrough in her acting. No wonder Cilla sets Natalie as her goal. She said: "If I can end up like Natalie Tong, then I'll be satisfied. In the past, she frequently played little sisters as well, I see she had improved a lot now and has even changed. She has reached another level, and I start thinking will I be like her one day? I really hope the audience will be able to see Cilla Lok is slowly growing up as well!"

In the past year, Cilla has been focused on shooting TV series, but she actually has a singing career as well. She is expecting herself in the near future to be balancing between her role as an actor and singer. "I will keep on singing and have re-started with an English song in Slow Boat Home to allow the audience to get to know me as a singer. My greatest hope is to sing the TV series theme songs and a popular mainstream song that belongs to me; a song everyone knows how to sing. I'll be satisfied then!"

"Slow Boat Home" actor Raymond Wong shares Sheren Tang's recent woes about the piecemeal scripts in TVB, but expressed that it is a sad truth that all TVB artistes should have already accepted.

As reported on Jayne Stars, the actor stated, "TVB's system of handing scripts to their artistes at the last minute is a problem that could eventually result in bad acting, but this has been an issue for a long time."

Raymond expressed that life as a TVB actor is never easy, as not only do they have to memorize long scripts, they are also lacking in rest and sleep, resulting in mood disorders. In the end, the end product is a bad and tired performance on television.

But he added, "It has always been like this in TVB. It is indeed hard work. So if you want a more comfortable life and capable of doing so, then head to China! You can even get a good eight hours of sleep every night. If you want to stay [in TVB], then you can only accept the system."

The actor also hinted that with the birth of his baby, his financial burden has increased, thus taking up mainland projects is a better prospect.

"But I also intend to take a break after every 5 months of filming so that I can spend more time with my family. Eventually we need to find a balance in life. Work should not take up our whole life. Our family should be the most important."

Actress Joyce Tang recently dismissed rumours saying that she has already married her non-celebrity boyfriend, Matthew Chu.

According to Singpao, Joyce stated that they have yet to be married but admitted that Matthew has already proposed to her.

When asked if her boyfriend got on his knees and prepared flowers and a diamond ring during the proposal, Joyce joked, "Due to environmental issues, there was no flower. But I did receive a diamond ring!"

However, when asked if they are getting married this year, the actress said that they have yet to decide on the date.

"I don't know much about the wedding. Matthew will be responsible on preparing everything for the event.
In short, do not bother me with such questions," the actress enthused.

Joyce met Matthew Chu, a Canon employee, in 2011 after being introduced by a mutual friend. After a short breakup due to a third party, Joyce decided to forgive Matthew and accepted his proposal earlier this year.

TVB heartthrob Kenneth Ma may have planned to venture into the mainland China after TVB sometime this year, but so far it is not looking good.

When asked if his contract with TVB is the stumbling block in his plans, Kenneth did not attempt to deny it, instead, he revealed that he had to forgo several offers from producers from China due to his heavily-packed working schedule in Hong Kong.

"I would not say I'm disappointed, but who knows there might a chance in the future? Look at Wayne Lai ("No Regrets" actor). He is able to make a lot of money without having to film any Chinese dramas by just being an ambassador," said Kenneth.

The actor will be starring in two dramas this year, "Triumph In The Skies 2" and "The Hippocratic Crush 2", both of which will be released in July and at the end of the year, respectively.

The Hong Kong star is furious with his daughter-in-law for publicly criticising the Tsang family
A week after Renee Guo’s explosive online rant directed at the Tsang family, rumour has it that she and her husband have been driven out of the house by Eric Tsang.

An insider revealed that Eric has always been dissatisfied with his daughter-in-law and had no choice but to accept her as part of the family as she was expecting his granddaughter when she married his son Mark Tsang.

Renee reportedly pestered Eric for money to start her own make-up business, and vented her frustrations on her husband and mother-in-law when Eric turned her down. She even insulted them in an online post recently, calling her mother-in-law “the most annoying creature on earth” and her husband “stupid and ugly”.

The insider said, “Renee got on Eric’s nerves and he said that he doesn’t want to see her anymore, so he asked them to move out of the house. But he told them not to take his granddaughter along with them because he was afraid that the couple might scare her if they fight among themselves again in future.”

Problems between Renee and her in-laws reportedly started six months ago despite the Tsang family’s blissful front at Eric’s 60th birthday celebration in April this year.

December 5th of 2012, Eric Tsang and Suki Tsui's husband Kenny Wee got into a dispute at a friend's wedding reception. Kenny called the police and claimed someone slapped him and Eric was accused of common assault and criminal intimidation. He was once under arrest for investigation and had to report back to the police department periodically. After 6 months, the case was finally settled yesterday. Eric was released unconditionally.

Yesterday Eric was at the police station to finish up the paperwork. He said: "Thank you all for the support and concern. The case is settled." Reporters contacted Kenny Wee, he replied expressing he didn't know what was going on and has no comment.

After the 'slapping' incident at the wedding, Eric did not respond positively. He publicly said there was a mad dog randomly barking and disturbing the residents. This worsen the situation. On December 19th, there was new development on the slapping case, the police charged Eric for "common assault" and "criminal intimidation".

Eric has very good relationships in the industry, many supported him. Oscar Leung was sued for libel because he supported Eric by criticizing Kenny Wee. Fortunately, TVB backed him up. Suki Tsui and Eric Tsang were initially friends, but because she had to support her husband, it was rumored she was "isolated" and lost a lot of job opportunities. As for Eric, he had been reporting back to the police station for 6 months, but that didn't affect him at all. He still threw a high-profile party to celebrate his 60th birthday earlier in April. Now that the case is officially settled, Eric and everyone concerned about him are relieved.
