Aimee Chan, who is now in her fourth month of pregnancy, has settled in her hometown of Toronto and is preparing for childbirth after a romantic wedding in Paris to fellow actor Moses Chan.

The couple has been spending more time apart as Moses is busy working on his latest movie in Hong Kong while Aimee is spending time in Canada. The petite actress has managed to maintain her svelte figure despite the bun in the oven, leading to friends expressing their jealousy over her lack of pregnancy-related weight gain.

The 32-year-old was enjoying a rise in popularity after her roles in hits such as Forensic Heroes III but was forced to take a break due to her unexpected pregnancy. Her fans rejoiced when she continued her regular updates on her microblog, allowing them to feel close to the actress despite being halfway around the world from her.

Her latest photo, which was uploaded yesterday, shows her posing in the outdoors with a bright red hat and black loose-fitting clothes, the latter presumably to hide her growing baby bump. What drew the most attention was her radiant smile, showing that the actress is blissfully enjoying her current life.

Julian Cheung recently expressed his wish to participate in the movie version of the hit TVB series, "Triumph In The Skies II".

Oriental Daily website reported that the actor, who made an appearance at the screening of the series' finale, is interested in making a movie, but will leave it to the producer Tommy Leung to make the decision.

He stated, "Tommy and I talked about this and there is a probability that the movie version will be filmed next year. I really hoped that there will be a third season or a movie, but I am not sure if they will maintain the original cast or create new characters instead."

Previously, it was rumoured that "Triumph In The Skies II" has profited Julian tremendously, enabling him to pocket nearly HKD 10 million (USD 1,289,570). When heard about the rumour, co-star Francis Ng light-heartedly expressed his envy and said that he was only paid HKD 10,000.

When asked to confirm his salary, Julian laughed and said, "Don't believe Francis. He is a rich man. As for myself, I have always been a pricey actor!"

It was reported that TVB is considering to cast Tavia Yeung in one of their remake projects for 2014.

As reported on HK Channel website, the company revealed their 2014 line-up that consists of the return of major movie actors to television, as well as a few remakes of their classic hits.

One of such remakes is 1981's "Double Fantasies" that was helmed by famous director-producer Kam Kwok Leung and written by Jonathan Chik. It also became one of the series that catapulted actress Louise Lee to stardom.

Now TVB is planning to cast Tavia Yeung in Louise Lee's original role as a carp spirit, while the 62-year-old actress herself will make an appearance in yet another TVB series.

When asked on her views about the remake and Tavia Yeung as the lead star, Louise exclaimed, "Since the technology is so advanced nowadays; the series will certainly look great. I have worked with Tavia before and she is a good actress. But I do think Eliza Sam is even more suitable. She is pretty and young, a perfect fit to play the carp spirit."

"Double Fantasies" was a series made up of three story segments that observed the dilemmas that people faced in their daily life. Each cast member plays two different roles as a human and a spirit.

Several injuries on Kenneth Ma's hand and wrists caught the attention of the media recently, and was revealed to be caused by several incidents while filming his new TVB series.

According to HK Channel website, the actor who was attending a promotional event for "Triumph in the Skies II", revealed that he was injured on the set of the upcoming martial arts series, "Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon", but assured that it was nothing serious.

Revealing that he will be flying to Xiangshan to continue filming more action scenes, Kenneth disclosed that the injuries were sustained during his earlier fight sequences, saying, "I was filming a scene where I have to throw myself towards a thief to stop him, but I fell onto the rocky ground instead and landed on my hands."

"It was okay at first, but after several takes, I injured my hands and wrists," he stated, and added that he even injured his calves at one point.

The actor admitted that the filming was extra tough as he rarely involved himself in action series.

"Since I don't have a martial arts background, performing fight scenes has been tough. And the heat did not help at all. I even lost 8 pounds just from filming in extreme heat while in costume. With all the running and fighting that I will have to do this time, I will probably become super fit!"

Sheren Tang, who was recently rumoured to have been blacklisted by TVB due to her criticism about the company's working condition, recently shared her woes at a Christian sermon that was held in Vancouver, Canada.

According to Apple Daily website, the actress, who was invited to be the guest speaker at the event, talked about her insecurities and issues working as an actress at the Hong Kong's top television station, even mentioning the script that became the source of her recent troubles with the company.

Sheren revealed, "When I was given such an unfinished script, I didn't know how to enunciate my lines. Sometimes I just blindly memorised the words, to the extent that I couldn't give a good performance."

She even lamented about the time she was asked to play a mother to BoBo Chan and Leila Tong's characters a decade ago, saying that the producers are not very kind to actresses in their thirties.

"Once, a group of teenagers came up to me and called me auntie. That was the lowest point of my career, but I held it back because I would not have a job if I showed my true feelings."

She even admitted to feeling envious over "War and Beauty" co-star Gigi Lai's victory as Best Actress at the 2004 TVB Anniversary Awards. She said it made her feel small, since the first Best Actress award she won was for "Rosy Business" in 2009, despite having debuted 14 years earlier.

Rumour has it that actor-producer Eric Tsang is interested to make a movie star out of former TVB star, Fala Chen.

According to Sina Taiwan website, the actress is also rumoured to have been approached by various companies including the management giant EEG, and actress Kelly Chen's management agency Go East Entertainment.

However, it was reported that the "Super Trio" host has also been interested with Fala's development and allegedly wanted to sign her on for HKD 10 million (approx. USD 1,289,370).

Sources claimed that Eric is planning to promote her in various movies and will shape her career to be the new version of early '90s top female star, Maggie Cheung.

The insider stated, "Eric believes that Fala has many things in common with Maggie, especially in her potential as an actress."

Meanwhile, it was reported that Kelly Chen's manager, Claudie Chung is also trying her best to manage the "Triumph in the Skies II" actress, and even taught her a thing or two about the movie industry to show Fala her sincerity.

When asked to address the rumours, Fala admitted that both Eric and Claudie have approached her, but stated, "I still need some time to think. I hope to find a company with the same goals as my own, so that we could collaborate better. Claudie is great, and she is currently helping me by observing my work."

TVB actress Rebecca Zhu recently dismissed rumours of a supposed plastic surgery.

As reported on Hong Kong Sina, the actress looked slimmer during a recent appearance, and was said to have gone under the knife to look more like "Triumph In The Skies II" lead actress, Fala Chen.

However, while speaking to the media at the promotional event for her new series, "Always And Ever", Rebecca laughed off the surgery rumours, and stated that her new look was due to weight loss, caused by her strenuous kung fu training for an upcoming project.

However, the 25-year-old actress is not opposed to having plastic surgery to enhance her looks.

When asked what part of her body would she like to change, Rebecca stated, "I'm not sure yet. Wait till I get older. I would probably know what I want by then."

On the rumours that she has been trying to look like the "Tales Of The Dark" actress, Rebecca commented, "Actually I have spoken to Fala about this. She and I agreed that we have one thing in common, that is we look nothing like each other!"
