42-year-old Hong Kong model, Kathy Chow is expecting her second child!
Kathy shared the joyous news via her agency today. She said, “I would like to share with everyone our joy. Jacques is going to be a brother soon!”
Kathy also shared a photo of her with her 1-year-old son, Jacques. In the photo, little Jacques is curious about his mummy’s tummy, and stretches his hand to touch it.
Kathy gave birth to Jacques last July. She has said before that she and her husband would like to have their second baby soon.
Kathy who is currently 5 months’ pregnant is in Paris, and will be returning to Hong Kong tomorrow. When asked about the gender of their second child, Kathy’s husband Julien remained tight-lipped.
He said, “We are happy be it a boy or a girl. What matters most is that the baby is healthy. This is the best Christmas present.”
Meanwhile, Kathy’s younger sister Niki Chow also did not reveal the gender of the baby. Niki said, “I don’t know. Let her reveal herself. I hope for a girl for her.”
Niki revealed that Kathy did not experience nausea or vomiting during her pregnancy, and her appetite remains the same.
When asked if she would be stress to get married soon as her sister is expecting again, Niki said, “No. (Currently, the trend is to have a shotgun marriage.) I would not follow. I want to get married first, then to have a baby.”
