Angelababy attended an event in Shanghai and expressed that during her childhood, she behaved like a boy who dislike to wear skirt. Therefore in this movie, Temporary Family (失戀急讓), she acted as an ugly girl and made her regained her childhood feeling. Angelababy said: "The Director wants me to wear loose jeans and T-shirt and I dress up like a (tough girl 女漢子)..... There is a sense of familiarity upon acting this role.".
