Nancy Wu and her entrepreneur fiancé, Patt Shum, reportedly have plans
to tie the knot in the beginning of 2015. The couple started cohabiting
within one year of dating and shares a loving relationship. Although
Patt allegedly strayed in the relationship, he regained Nancy’s trust
through a marriage proposal in August 2013, in which she has happily
accepted.
After Nancy completes TVB series, Trade Wars, she will
reportedly take a half-year hiatus in order to prepare for her wedding.
It will likely take place in early 2015, but if possible, the couple
will hold the special event earlier in December this year. A source
close to Nancy spilled, “She applied for a half-year break last month.
At first, she was reluctant in sharing the reason, but she couldn’t hold
back from smiling when asked whether she is getting married.”
Refuses to Admit to Wedding Plans
Last
Sunday, Nancy was spotted in Cyberport filming for Trade Wars. Although
she was in a bright and cheerful mood, Nancy refused to confirm her
wedding plans when reporters sent their congratulations. Instead, she
asked, “Why are you congratulating me?”
When reporters brought up
her wedding that is to take place in approximately half a year, Nancy
replied, “No, I still have work for the rest of the year. I think
there’s a drama waiting for me in October. Work comes first.” Asked
about her current relationship with Patt, she expressed, “Everything is
great! Thanks for the concern!”
