Raymond Lam is absent at Shanghai TV Festival due to old back injury

Whenever filming, it is not a surprise that Raymond Lam (林峯) will get injuries. He is supposed to attend the TV Festival in Shanghai but is forced to cancel it at (eleventh hour) due to old back injury. Thus, the heavy responsibility is passed to Kate Tsui (徐子珊), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and others instead. However, many Raymond's fans are at the designated area waiting for him in advance and left them with worry and disppointment, upon hearing that he is injuried and it is uncertain if this will affect his upcoming world tour concert.

In fact, Raymond is well-known to be a 'Fragile Man' who gets injuried easily, as he had injuries every part of his body during the years.While filming for the series, My Sister of Eternal Love (花花世界花家姐), his position of the neck shifted and was hospitalised instead. As for filming the movie, Saving General Yang (忠烈楊家將), his partner, Adam Cheng (鄭少秋) exposed that Raymond's bum was hurt while riding the horse and hurt his left hand as well while carrying the heavy prop. During his concert in year 2011, Raymond's right hand was cut by glass and caused non-stop bleeding which scared the guest, Susanna Kwan.

As such, Raymond was again labelled as 'having bad luck' yesterday, as he hurt his old waist injury due to his big movement upon waking up. He had intense pain thereafter and decided to seek medical attention instead of going to the airport for promotion campaign in Shanghai.

His fans are worried and disappointed

Raymond is supposed to meet up with Kate Tsui, Bosco Wong, Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) and others so as to attend the promotion activity for The 20th Shanghai TV Festival, on behalf of TVB in Shanghai. As this promotion campaign news was published long ago, many Raymond's fans arrived at the designated area early and caused heavy 'jams' there. Therefore, his fans are worried and disappointed when the organisation commitee announced about Raymond's absence.

After the incident, the reporters tried to contact his manager, Candy and she said "He has seen a doctor and he needs to have plently of rest, but needs not be hospitalised. (Will it affect his world tour concert?) It should not be. Anyway, the concert will not be starting that soon and hope he will recover quickly.". His girlfriend, Karena Ng (吳千語), expressed that she knew about her boyfriend's injury and hoped he will have a speedy recovery.

Due to Raymond's absence, the heavy responsibility is shifted to Kate Tsui and other artistes. Fortunately, Kate is alert and wore a beautiful dress to show off her waist yesterday. As for Bosco, he was absent from the earlier promotion campaign for the new series, The Ultimate Addiction (點金勝手) and finally completed the filming in Mainland China. He also announced the good news and said "The response for the series is not bad and the click-through rate (Internet) is around 5 millions times.".

The promotion for Anthony Wong's new series is pending

This time, TVB's promotion strategy for the TV Festival in Shanghai is focusing on Line Walker (使徒行者), acted by Raymond Lam, Lady Sour (醋娘子), Inbound Troubles 2 (老表，你好hea﹗) and others. As for Anthony Wong's (黃秋生) new series, The Hero (梟雄), the promotion campaign is pending but includes as one of the recommendations as well.
