Coffee Lam is fired by TVB

Earlier, TVB artiste, Coffee Lam was spotted and filmed having a "gathering" with a board director of a listed company, Will Lam, in a handicapped toilet at IFC. The scandal angered the artiste management executive, Virginia Lok. She had expressed that she would not let go of this issue easily. The company had set up an appointment to meet with Coffee; however Coffee cancelled last minute because she fell sick. Yesterday, the female lead of the scandal finally appeared in TVB City. After an hour long meeting, both sides agreed to end their contract.

Yesterday around 11:49 am, Coffee, who wore a white top with jeans, arrived at Tseung Kwan O TVB City and was immediately surrounded by many reporters. Coffee, who had minimal make up on, kept her head down. No matter what the reporters asked her, she did not respond. However, since reporters were blocking her way, she finally could not help but say "Excuse me". Finally, she was able to break through the crowd of the reporters and enter TVB City; unfortunately there were also another crowd of reporters inside, making her feel helpless.

After meeting Virginia Lok for approximately one hour, she left TVB City around 1:40pm , and was once again surrounded by the media. Reporters asked whether her contract has been terminated and is now "free"? She replied: "Yes." She expressed her gratitude for the company's six years of training and cultivating her, and admitted that this was a very big lesson for her, but also a very big misunderstanding. She also self-reflected on the fact that after the situation, she did not explain to the company right away. She expressed: "The company has always been good to me. Thank you to all the people who cared for me during this time. No matter if I knew them or not, I am very touched."

Asked reporters not to follow her car

She also expressed that the situation is now over, and hopes that everyone can give her and her family some space. She doesn't have any plans for the future for now and plans to take a break. Asked if she will contact Wilson Chin, who expressed that he's willing to help her? She stated that he is her big savior, but she will rest first before making any decisions. Afterwards, she planned to get on a taxi she called, but ended up getting on the wrong one; therefore having wait for another one. She pled everyone not to chase her car, and expressed that she wouldn't be going home. Asked if she will go to her boyfriend's house? She refused to respond.

Afterwards, TVB's Communications department Co-Director Tsang Sing Ming stated in an interview: "Miss Lam returned to the Artistes department today. Miss Lok took the time to meet and talk with her." He expressed that after both sides spoke, Coffee explained what she did. Both understood each side's perspectives, so in the end, they agreed to terminate their contract.

TVB will still issue six month's salary

He expressed that TVB understands and sympathizes with Coffee's situation, so they made a special arrangement. Because Coffee's contract was to expire December 2014, TVB will still issue the rest of the six month's salary. Mr. Tsang also expressed on behalf of Ms Lok, that she hopes that Coffee Lam will mature and learn from this, and encourages her to continue and work hard in this industry in the future. He denied that they have blacklisted Coffee.

Late night yesterday, Coffee posted on her Sina Weibo: "Do you like this cute little kid and little me?" and posted a picture of her when she was little and another picture saying: "Before you judge me, make sure you are perfect." It seems like she was already mentally prepared that her contract would be terminated.
