Yesterday Gold Typhoon (Gold Label) Chairman, Norman Cheng (Ronald Cheng's father) suddenly announced to the media and corporate partners of his retirement: "I have to make my final announcement, a year ago, Gold Label introduced a like-minded investment partner, Mr. Pong Wai Yan leader of Pacific Capital Investments Limited (Asia). After several months very close collaborations, I am glad to find someone who can continue my path. I cannot say it will be a success, but people will have their time to retire."

Norman's plan for retirement, no one in Gold Typhoon heard about with exception of the rumors within the executives. Norman's retirement from Gold Typhoon this time leaves Ronald Cheng without his "Prince" status in the company. Last night, Ronald was at a New Year's countdown show in Shenzhen and has not been able to respond to the news. It was understood that the "Prince's Party" is in a panic where the new boss (Mr. Pong) will be lowering the wages and bonuses. Everyone is worried about the instability. Meanwhile, current Vice-Chairman, Paco Wong, who had seem to lost power has an opportunity to make a comeback as new boss Mr. Pong secretly met with him.

Edmond Leung just renewed his contract last year. He accepted an interview and said: "This afternoon, Mr. Cheng (Norman) called me and told me that he has considered this decision for a period of time, I just renewed my contract, I was surprised and shocked when I heard the news. It is most important that the employees below aren't affected. I believe the infrastructure won't have any major changes." Does Edmond feel that Norman gave up on them? He said: "No, after all he has already considered this for a long time."

Gold Typhoon HK CEO (Chan Fai Hung) said: "Mr. Cheng is just retiring, Gold Typhoon's operations. After the new year, we'll be having a meeting with Mr. Pong." Mr. Pong is a businessman and is not familiar with the entertainment business? He said: "We have always followed what Mr. Cheng intends to do. It's just a transition for us now. (Paco Wong will manage the Record Department?) You call him, he will tell us when the time is right. (Singers and employees are panicking?) Why would that be so? It is normal that singers are worried. (Gold Typhoon not making money, so Mr. Cheng leaves?) No, how much profits is business secrets."

iCable will be holding the 2010 BEST DRAMA CONTEST AWARD PRESENTATION sometime during January 2011. Ron Ng is nominated for Best Actor on the Mainland drama he participated in Pretty Maid (大丫鬟). Online voting is currently taking place on iCable's website until January 6, 2011. The categories include: Best Drama, Best Actor and Best Actress. There are 5 candidates for each award category, Ron Ng is currently leading with 47% of the votes for Best Actor. iCable's executive (Wu Yung Hing) expressed yesterday that they have already contacted Ron's manager and said it may not be convenient for Ron to go get the award.

Ron is currently working on TVB series Men & Women Chooses Residence. When asked about the TV King award presented by iCable? Ron smiled and said that of course he's happy to be nominated. If he's going to attend the awards show and accept the award, leave that to TVB to arrange. He said: "The show hasn't even been held yet, we don't have to think of it in such a complicated way. Pretty maid is a drama I did in Mainland and the copyright was just sold to iCable!"

TVB executive Virgina Lok expressed yesterday that she does not want to speculate too much, wait until iCable formally hold their awards show first. Until then they will decide if Ron should attend or not. Because of TVB's current situation, the status is sensitive and may cause complications if Ron is to attend, but Ron's acting getting recognition, it is something to be happy about.

Not selling to their enemy station (iCable), earlier at the Mainland "Southern TV Station" award presentation held on December 18th, TVB treated it differently and made arrangements for Ron to attend the show to accept his award.

Miriam Yeung won 4 awards at the Metro Hits Music Awards. She also received on behalf of her husband Real Ting, the re-engraved edition of "Best Pairing Award" received by VRF back in 2001. At the celebration, Miriam happily said: "Very surprising, I never thought that we'll get a re-engraved edition of this award. My husband doesn't know yet, I plan to place my award and his award together when I get home. See if he will notice it!" When speaking of a magazine report adding rumors for Real, saying that he dated Bernice Liu in the past, Miriam smiled: "Doesn't matter, I know Bernice too. My husband has a handsome outer appearance and Bernice is a beautiful girl, she can be considered a match for him. After all, it's enough that he is currently my husband!" Miriam frankly said that she personally respects the husband-wife communication, so she has not go into the business of Real's past relationships, otherwise he'll keep asking her too.

As her record label East Asia decided to boycott the RTHK Top 10 Chinese Music Awards, Miriam helplessly said: "All stations have given me opportunities in every era. I feel it's a regret and unfortunate." When speaking of the rumors that Eason Chan is moving over to East Asia, Miriam excitedly said that if the rumors is true, then it's really "Capital Artist Comeback Engraved", She said: "Of course I hope so, if it's true, then it's a time where East Asia can really create a legend!"

Yesterday CRHK announced that the broadcast right to this year's "Chik Chak Ultimate Song Award Presentation" will not be given to TVB due to them not having an agreement with HKRIA yet. CRHK does not want to affect the spirit of the awards ceremony. At the same, TVB refused to broadcast RTHK's Top 10 Chinese Song Awards due to EEG and East Asia's boycott. RTHK is pulling ATV, iCable and other channels to help them broadcast their awards show.

In the past, all four award ceremonies (RTHK, CRHK, Metro and JSG) were given to TVB to broadcast. Even last year when the royalty disputes with HKRIA started, RTHK and CRHK still allowed TVB to broadcast. RTHK even promised that they are willing to take any risk of legal consequences, if their award show was to be broadcast on TVB. Stephen Chan was expected to break the ice upon his return to TVB, but in reality there are more uncertainties now. Also, with the cancellation of the "Four Station Media Award", there are greater differences between all the stations.

CRHK supports the Big 5 record labels
Currently, the four stations each have their own stance. CRHK clearly supports the Big 5 labels, so yesterday TVB announced through their Foreign Affairs Department that because the TVB and HKRIA issue has not been resolved, TVB cannot broadcast anything relating to the Big 5 (including the newly joined BMA). If music fans and audience hope to watch the original award show (Chik Chak), then can go on CRHK website to watch the show online. It was also stated that both CRHK and TVB have agreed that TVB does not have enough time to edit out the Big 5 segments in the award show for audience to have a pleasant watch, so TVB agreed to give up on the broadcast.

TVB also clearly supports EEG and East Asia, so they announced three reasons why the RTHK Top 10 Chinese Song Awards is not going to be broadcast. Firstly, TVB can face legal consequences if they broadcast the show with singers under Big 55. Secondly, because the two largest record labels in HK (EEG, East Asia) are boycotting the show and third is because this year RTHK backed out of the Four Station Media Award, which is questioned by the industry and record labels of its acceptability.

Yesterday Assistant Director of Broadcasting (Cheung Man San) expressed that they have received TVB's Lee Bo On's written response of the "final decision". Although he feels regret, he hopes that this single event won't affect future collaborations. Mr. Cheung said: "RTHK's music awards is on its 33th year, it had always been RTHK's major productions in a given year. Although this year EEG and East Asia aren't attending, the production and sense of entertainment won't be affected. RTHK will present the awards to EEG and East Asia singers like normal and will broadcast the winning song clips."

William burted out "I Love You" on stage and was frightened after he said it. Fortunately audience had good response. When Ah Sa heard it, she was immediately embarrassed and had a silly laugh. When Andy introduced Kelly to the stage, he said: "This girl I knew for a long time, we had a dip in the bathtub together before." Kelly heard that and made an "O" with her lips: "Everything about you is good! But there is something I'm better than you at." Andy answered: "Are you talking about having kids?" Kelly laughed and said: "Caring for a son." Andy refuted: "I am even better, I can care for a daughter!" The original cast for 2010's TVB Sales Presentation of Return to the Three Kingdoms included Ron Ng, Steven Ma and Fala Chen. The series is a comedy about the characters going back in time to the Three Kingdoms era from the modern world. However, the leading roles are changed to Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung, changing to The Mysteries of Love sequel and it is also TVB's hope to boost Raymond and Tavia up for TV King and Queen next year. Netizens are online actively discussing the topic, there were a few complaints of switching the male lead to Raymond, as it is not fair to Ron Ng.

Yesterday reporters called Ron and he expressed that he has heard about the Netizens' discussions online. When mentioning Raymond Lam might be stealing his place as the male lead in the series? He said: "Actually everyone knows that the lead actors shown on the sales presentation each year are not confirmed. The artists may not actually shoot the series, or the series itself might not be shooting at all. It's the same situation for other promotional clips. Although I saw the script and felt that it's an attractive series, I personally don't mind. Also, I heard this series will be starting in March, that time I'll be shooting Forensics Heroes III, so the schedule clashes. I basically can't participate in it." Also, when asked if he's afraid of rumors with Charmaine Sheh again when shooting FH3? He said: "Nope, we are just working."

(Caption: Yoga and GEM dating happily, going out for dinner)
G.E.M tries to calm Yoga: "You don't be like this!" Yoga says: "I don't have to be a gentleman!"
"You (Lin) let go first!" G.E.M was shaken and said in high pitch: "Can you let go first! Please listen to me!" In the confusion, a reporter was injured on the hand.
"You all stop taking pictures." Yoga was angered and snatched the camera. Reporters and G.E.M used strength and was unable to calm the angered Yoga down. They eventually dropped and broke the camera.
Sudden attack from the back, after pulling and pushing, Yoga showed off his heroic side in front of his girlfriend. Then he suddenly pounced on reporters trying to snatch the camera again
"I don't by you HKers!" as he fought for the camera. Yoga changed to attack another FACE reporter.

"You believe me or not! Police, Police, Police" Finally, G.E.M was able to pull Yoga aside. And convinced him to go back to his house to deal with his own aftermath. "You go first, do you believe me or not!" But Yoga still stood firm and shouted: "Police! Faster!"
Once the police and his record company staff arrived, Yoga calmed down. He was willing to compensate for all the FACE reporters losses. Both sides do not plan to be taking further legal action.

Hong Kong magazine, FACE, snapped some photos of the two eating dinner, shopping, and going to the movies together – for a total of five hours. The two were seen hugging and kissing, and wrapping their arms around each other. Despite the two were wearing masks, reporters recognized the singers and decided to get closer to take more photos, which caused the situation to get out of hand.

Lin attempted to grab the reporter’s camera while saying, “This is our private matter. I’m from Taiwan. I’m only here to promote music, (so) I don’t want to be on your magazine.” G.E.M., who was a little shaken, tried to calm Lin down. Lin and the reporters made physical contact and the situation was finally put under control when the police and staff members from the record company arrived. HIM Records responded on the 28th that Lin’s behavior was due to being frightened by the reporters’ sudden appearance and explained that he did not hit anyone. As for his and G.E.M.’s intimate display, HIM Records insisted, “The two are good friends. They were only discussing about music.” G.E.M. supported her boyfriend, “Four men suddenly appeared in front of us and started snapping photos. He only reacted out of instinct and tried to stop them. I don’t think he was being reckless.”

On December 26th, Joey Yung went to Fuzhou for a stage performance, and was enjoying the local gourmet food in her hotel room. However, she encountered a frightening event in the middle of the night! The night before, she finally calmed down when she returned to Hong Kong. Yesterday at 3am, she wrote on Weibo: "A few days ago after I completed the show in Fu Ching (Editor's note: typo, should be Fuzhou), I returned to my hotel room. After I put a chair to keep the door tightly shut, I turned off the lights and went to bed. When I was half asleep, I felt that there was someone in the room. I opened my eyes and saw a man in black clothing beside my bed!"

Half dreaming, half awake, Joey jumped in fear. She suspected that she bumped into ghosts, she was so frightened she went to wash her face and tried to get herself back to reality as quickly as possible: "If he is a ghost, I hope he goes away soon! If he's a person, then that would be a big problem! Eventually it was confirmed that he's a person. (I rather him be a ghost!) A person, then it's going to be troublesome, what does he want? I screamed as I ran away. Actually, I was rolling away! I rushed to turn on the lights and I saw the man was holding the room card key!"

Seeing that the man had a room card, Joey was still so frightened her feet were shaking. She asked constantly who the man was? But the man did not care about her, and continued what he was doing, placing the carryout down. Joey and the man were confronting for 10 minutes before Joey was frustrated and shouted at the man to leave: "He was a bit ashamed and angered. After rushing him out the door, he finally explained he had the same room card as me."

The frightened Joey felt extremely puzzled after the fact: "Why did he not turn on the light and came near my bed side? Why did he silently come near me when he saw that I was sleeping? Is coincidence at fault?" But in fact it's just that much of a coincidence in life, Joey breathe in a sign of relief. She expressed: "Luckily the man in black didn't have any bad intentions, otherwise within a hotel room, when one is most relaxed and encounters a fanatic, the results can be really serious! Thinking back, I am still very scared! I urge everyone to stay in a reliable hotel when traveling, lock up the doors and windows. Should have others to accompany you on the trip too, so can have mutual care."

After Joey exposed her experience, a large group of good friends and fans left messages to comfort her. Her manager Mani Fok, currently in the U.S, rushed to comfort her: "That day when I received your call, said someone was in your room, I have never heard such a scared Joey voice before, scared me too." Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) said: "This hotel is beyond reasonable limits! Fortunately Joey is safe and not hurt. We all have to be extra careful!" Model Jacqueline Chong expressed: "Terrifying!" Yumiko Cheng felt it's hard to believe: "Why would there be such a strange incident? Joey, have no fear, it will not happen again!" Wong Cho Lam expressed have to be thankful nothing happened: "Careful! Thank God nothing happened!" Vincy Chan exposed her makeup artist had the similar experience: "My makeup artist also heard snoring sounds in her hotel room before, turns out that someone was sleeping in her room."

Hotel made mistake, EEG does not plan to take legal action
After the incident, EEG spokesperson went to the hotel to get an understanding of the situation. It turns out that the hotel made a mistake and gave the same room card key to the man, causing a frightening event for Joey. Fortunately the man did not have any bad intentions, the hotel made an apology and EEG does not plan to take legal action. EEG also praised Joey's professionalism, after being frightened, she still attended her performance in Changsha the next day. The incident did not affect her performance.

The two series starring Steven Ma Ghost Writer and Links To Temptation did not get a broadcast period that gives people a good feeling, and TVB does not give too much attention to them. However, Steven felt that the not so good broadcast period is not important. To be able to get good TV ratings during the 'ashes broadcast period', Steven will be even more proud. Steven felt that no matter what is done, there is always going to be losses and gains, it is enough to do best on own part. He believes that hardwork will definitely pay off. Ghost Writer got good response from Mainland audience, so this proves that many people know what's good and a good sense of comfort for himself.

Mandarin ducks thumbs
Steven is currently shooting a new series Thunder in the Forbidden City and he plays a big imperial guard. After over a month of shooting, Steven has been fighting day and night, getting bruises all over. Just his thumb was injured 3 times already. Steven said: "My thumb on my right hand is swollen like a block and turned into Mandarin duck thumbs. I have to wait until the shoot completes before I have time to go see a doctor."

Self Claims as "Hard Life Steven"
Steven discovered that oif he has to shoot fighting or difficult scenes, the weather will definitely turn cold. Like earlier when he was shooting a scene where he was getting beat up in the ancient prison and the scene where he was escaping from the prison. Initially that day it was a very nice warm day,but after he finished putting on the injured makeup, the temperatures suddenly dropped a few degrees. Getting injured and bruised fingers, Steven is still strong and not discouraged. He said: "A big man need to withstand suffers and have good spirt. TVB and HKRIA (Big 4 labels' organization) royalty disputes have been going on for nearly a year. Initially, there was hope with Stephen Chan's return to TVB as the General Manager. However, it was rumored that because TVB boss (Mona Fong) was not satisfied with someone suggesting the singers under Big 4 were allowed to go on other TV stations, she refused to sign the agreement. According to the most result news, both sides have not come to a new agreement yet, tonight at the Metro Radio Hits Music Awards Presentation, initially TVB's J2 channel was going to broadcast the show live, but now they can only broadcast cut footage of the show. Any footage showing the Big 4 singers appearance will be cut out and cannot be broadcast.

Metro Radio & Chik Chak same fate

According to news, TVB called up Metro Radio suggesting that they are going to broadcast the awards show live on J2 channel was the first step of breaking the ice, but now the goal cannot be reached. It was understood that HKRIA had a deadline for TVB to sign the agreement by 5pm the day before Metro's music awards. Since the TVB executives were in a meeting with Mona Fong on Tuesday, they were too busy to respond and resulted in both sides without an agreement. TVB will not be able to broadcast the Big 4 singers segments during both Metro Radio Hits Music Awards and the Chik Chak's Ultimate Song Music Awards. Only cut footage are able to be broadcast.

HKRIA issues statement yesterday

The RTHK Top 10 Music Awards will be held on January 7, 2011. It was understood that because TVB and HKRIA's royalty issues, TVB cannot broadcast the show. Also, RTHK stopped participating in the "Four Station Media Award", clearly refusing to let TVB broadcast their show. Then there is EEG and East Asia who refuses to take part in RTHK's music awards, which miserbly turned into 'double rejection' for RTHK.

[Oriental Daily] contacted Stephen Chan in regards to the broadcasting issues. He admitted that TVB has not come to an agreement with HKRIA: "It is a problem legally and in principle. Both sides are working hard on looking over the documents, time is required to handle the situation. Absolutely can we not explain it in the short period, so the awards ceremony will be like how it is last year. We can only broadcast what is recorded and cannot do a live broadcast." He clarified that it is only technical difficulties with the legal documents, and is not related to the singers' contracts.

Stephen expressed that yesterday TVB received HKRIA's legal statement, because both sides have not come to an agreement, TVB has no copyright of the Big 4 singers and cannot broadcast their footage. When asked if they are refusing to broadcast RTHK's music awards? He said: "I believe to be able to broadcast RTHK Top 10 Music Awards successfully is a going to be a challenge. It is possible we are not going to broadcast it because EEG and East Asia singers aren't attending, it is going to be difficult to broadcast it."

As for HKRIA, yesterday they issued a statement stating that thinking in the benefit of Music Fans, they have tried several times to make temporary agreement and concessions, both sides have consensus over the last several weeks of discussing, but they still need to resolve the technical issues along with meeting TVB's requirements.

After lying on the bed for 62 days, Taiwanese pop starlet Selina Jen finally took her first steps.

With the help of her band mates Ella Chen and Hebe Tien, Selina, who wore a pair of pressurised stockings, walked round her hospital ward. It was a touching moment for the Jen family.

Selina's mother broke into tears while her younger sister Kristen compared Selina's steps to astronaut Neil Armstrong's first steps on the moon in 1969.

"Selina's tiny first steps are the steps towards a happier future," said Kristen.

Hebe also wrote on her Weibo, saying that she was "lucky to have witnessed this huge improvement. It's the best Christmas present; I'm really touched. Merry Christmas, wifey! I love you."

HIM International and Hunan TV reportedly set up a "compensation team" and talks are currently underway. However, as there are various complications when it comes to the compensation and pinpointing responsibility, results from the discussion cannot be made public yet.

"There are good intentions and sincerity from both parties. We do not wish to involve the law and hope that there would be a positive settlement," said HIM International.

On the other hand, Hunan TV has not given any explanations to date, except for the release of an investigative report on the incident. Furthermore, director Chen Ming Zhang has yet to send his apologies to Selina and her family even though he had returned to Taiwan.

Shirley Yeung and Sharon Chan attended a Christmas event together. In order to avoid the embarrassment of getting zero TV ratings again, ATV has opted out of 'buying misery' and gave up on paying a fee to get TV rating reports starting January 1, 2011. The TV rating reports were initially the responsibility of TVB, ATV and a group of advertisement companies. The TV rating reports not only provides feedback on series and other TV productions, but also serves as a voting source for advertisers to who they will sell their Ads to. As TVB dominates the majority of the TV rating report fees, ATV is responsible for HK$3 million annually.

ATV CEO (Yip Ka Bo) admitted to the news, he explained: "Nowadays, majority of the people use LED, Plasma and other new style TVs which does not connect with a receiver to get the TV ratings. The TV ratings are not complete anymore, so we aren't doing it anymore! We will be using another media research method that will be even more complete." As Producer Gary Tang will be starting two ATV series next year, he was rather disappointed in this news: "I have heard too, I can only do well on the public praises for the series. ATV ratings are following a different method anyway."

Also, as ATV is giving up on the TV rating reports, the media research fees will be left in the responsibility of TVB. It was said that TVB was not satisfied with this issue, however a response from TVB was not obtained before the deadline.

Earlier Joyce Cheng exposed that her late mother Lydia Shum had tried doing drugs before, but yesterday afternoon when she was at a Citywalk event, she clarified there was a verbal misunderstanding. She stressed that her mother does not have a habit of doing drugs. Reporters pursued and asked her about her mother doing drugs. Joyce said: "I'm fortunate that you all are asking me the question again. I wanted to say that it is really shocking, the reports said I exposed my mom does drugs. I really want to clarify that she does not have a habit of doing drugs, absolutely no such thing, it is a verbal misunderstanding. I was very unhappy about this issue. (Then what was your initial meaning?) I don't want to say too much otherwise the situation will get even worse, more and more misunderstandings. In the future, I will practice my Chinese, don't want to have any more misunderstandings. If I had hurt anyone, I am really sorry, I didn't want to hurt my mom even more."

Joyce was asked if her father Adam Cheng had any reaction, she said that she talked to him on the phone earlier, but didn't really talk about the issue. She only asked about Adam's condition after his injury. Joyce said: "He also asked me about the progress of my new music album and he will come support me when he has time off." How did she spend her Christmas? Joyce laughed and said she celebrated with more than 10 other friends with turkey. She also received a gift of a calender with brand name shoes on each page. Asked if her boyfriend gave her anything? She said: "Before I got a handbag, I personally wasn't willing to buy it, cost about 5 figures."

Maxim's Group is celebrating their 38th anniversary, and donated HK$150,000 to the "Kelly Chen Children Education Fund". Yesterday Kelly attended the event and accepted the charity money, she said: "Maxim's have always been very concerned with my fund." Is the funding adequate? She admitted that because she guest starred in the film The Monkey King (大鬧天宮) where she was paid HK$1 million a day, the money was pushed into the fund. Based on estimation, does she feel she got a bigger pay check than Cecilia Cheung? She felt that it's not and does not know what the current market price is. Asked if she stood firmly a day to earn that million dollar pay check? She said: "Not calculated like that, normally it's calculated per film, perhaps the filmmakers knew that she was doing this for charity, so increased my pay check to HK$1 million per day. I was shooting daily, doesn't matter if I'm just an extra."

As the Big 4 labels has hope to settle the royalty issues with TVB? Kelly said that she has been waiting for this day: "The more I wait the more impatient I am. I thought it would be settled within 2 months, but then it ended up taking more than a year to settle." In the future, singers could possibly appear on other TV stations? She felt that it's pretty good. Can she go on ATV or iCable programs? She said: "TVB and I don't have a contract, I can go on other TV stations." She agreed that there will only be improvement with more competition.

EEG and East Asia bailed out of RTHK's awards, Kelly was surprised and asked why? She said: "Then there won't be anyone there, then it's empty, completely empty! Perhaps the TV ratings will be even higher, very interesting." Will she definitely attend the award ceremony? She admitted, but no schedule because each station had always played on the own. It's a down time in the music scene, should not have so many disputes and should be more united instead.

Edison Chen made an official comeback on the stage of Hong Kong. Yesterday he was a guest at the Asia Game Show opening ceremony and promoted for his new album. Besides Edison's mom and good friend coming to support him, fans were also arranged to go up on stage to give him gifts. When he rapped two songs, there was not enough atmosphere, so audience had no reaction, just his good friend made sounds.

Edison's new album CONFUSION is a 15 track album with a song-story written about his two year life experiences. Songs include Man in the Mirror (self-confusion), Reboot (new start) and Salute. After experiencing the Artist Sex Photo Scandal, Edison pocketed a huge circle of inspirations. The incident is not his fault, but he still has to admit wrong to everyone.

Back on the Hong Kong stage, Edison expressed his nervousness, he said: "I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do the raps. In Shanghai, when I faced several thousand people, I actually didn't have any pressure at all, but now back in HK, after today I won't have anything else to worry about."

Want You To Say: "In fact you are wrong!"

Yesterday after performing Man in the Mirror and Cantonese song Reboot, he said that his album also includes a song written by Jay Chou called I Can Fly and this is the song that he is most satisfied with. In the song, it talks the period of his troubled experiences, confusion and when he did not know who he was. Reboot is about how he realized what his path is. The last song Salute is when he hasn't got back up yet, but he is certain of who he is, started getting healthy again and working. He wants to salute to both the people who supported and didn't support him in the last two years, he wants you to say: "In fact I am wrong!" He then asked reporters if they understood what he meant? Turns out that all along Edison didn't feel that he was wrong, but had to apologize to others.

"Edison A New Start"

Edison's new album will be holding an autograph session in Taiwan this Sunday (12/26). As his only Cantonese song in the album Reboot, apart of the lyrics goes like: "Upgrade, upgrade again, upgrade reboot the machine, Koon Hei (Edison) is booting again, is rising again, myself, not afraid yet, you look down on me, step on me, I crawl back up, haven't died....Koon Hei start yourself again."

Soon to be father, Raymond frankly said that he satisfied with his current status, and won't deliberately ask for a pay increase for milk. Natalie said winning an award is a type of certainty, and will patiently wait for others to give her a pay increase.

Many TVB FaDans and Siu Sangs gain popularity and start getting promoted after winning the "Most Improved Artist" award. Raymond modestly said that he was very lucky this time to win the award: "Coincidentally I had series with good public praises this year, many people watched and in fact the award is not a certainty in my acting." Natalie is grateful of TVB giving her so many opportunities to portray different roles: "This is also my first time shooting a Qing dynasty series, so I will go watch more costume dramas to learn from them and how they speak their lines."

The Last Goal

When asked if 'Best Actor & Actress' is their last goal? Raymond said that it is most important to be happy with your job: "My goal is to enjoy the acting process, if I am not enjoying myself, then how can audience enjoy my acting?" Natalie smiled and said that her goal is to make extra income in Mainland: "The series I'm in are rarely shown in Mainland, so I hope to be in several different types of series, increasing the amount of people in Mainland that knows my name and earn more money to help buy a property for my family!" Yesterday afternoon, Bernice Liu, Roger Kwok and Annie Liu attended the sitcom's Show Me The Happy Winter Solstice dinner party. Moses Chan and Bernice Liu's romance ended has been the hot topic lately. Once Bernice saw reporters, she expressed that she has already clarified everything through a radio interview and will not respond anymore. When asked if she and Alastair are spending the Winter Solstice holiday together? Bernice said: "Today I'll be working in the studio until the next morning." When mentioning that Moses is in the studio next door shooting for The War at Heart, she said: "I didn't know! (In the same make-up room and still no fate to meet?) After outdoor shooting, I will shoot in the studio. (Bumped into each other?) Nope! We are colleagues, we do keep in touch." Asked about how she mentioned earlier that she knows who released all the gossips? She said: "I have already talked about it on the radio interview earlier, it is definitely not Moses Chan." Reporters kept asking why she didn't deny that Moses was the person who release the gossips the day before? Bernice's face immediately turned black and walked away.

As a good friend of Moses, Roger Kwok expressed that he has not kept in touch with Moses lately. Asked if he would introduce non-greedy women to Moses? He laughed: "And how do you know he has no money? It is not necessary to introduce girls in this generation." Roger and Bernice has collaborated for a period of time now, and he has not seen a male picking her up or dropping her off from work. Roger also reveals that after his pregnant wife (Cindy Au) medical examination, they found out that their baby is developing well, and is growing fast. However, they do not know if the baby is a boy or a girl yet. He laughed and said that the doctor was more anxious than they were. Roger said lately his wife has not been feeling well, and can only eat congee. His wife is currently 3 months pregnant and is expected to due in July. When the time comes, he'll be taking off from work to go welcome a new life into his family.

(Related News - Bernice's radio program interview)
[Singtao 12/21] In Eileen Cha's radio interview, Bernice was asked about her new rumors with wealthy Alastair Lam and implied Moses was the person who released the gossips. Bernice said: "Of course not, up until now the magazine reports are all not true. I am also unhappy seeing it. I don't want friends and audience to misunderstand. Friends also told me that things that are not true, must speak up. If not, then it is unfair. (Magazines said you stole someone's husband? Of course not, I have to clarify that the person who released the gossips is not Moses Chan, I am sure of this. I know who the person is in my heart. I will only do my best on my own part. (It was said you are 1 foot on 2 boats?) I have always said that I'm 1 foot on 7 boats, 5 of them are boyfriends, 2 are girlfriends. I just treat this as entertainment, every time I clarify it's difficult for myself, and it's not the truth." When asked her relationship with Alastair Lam? She said: "Friends, we are a group of English speaking friends. (Rumored your cohabiting with Alastair?) Going to a friend's house to have dinner and chat is called cohabiting, that is pretty funny."

Linda Chung is currently shooting for new series Men and Women Chooses Residence and has not had the time to partner up with Wong He to earn extra income during the golden period. For this reason, Wong He 'fired' her and although Linda has to work, she is still happy: "Doesn't matter, but I'll be even happier if don't have to work. Actually several years in the industry, I had to work every year. I haven't celebrated with my parents and sister for over 6 years. (Next Christmas, bring a boyfriend to visit your family in Canada?) Of course! But, first I need to find one."

Speaking of the new year resolutions, Linda hopes to release her new album as soon as possible and to get agreement by viewers on all her roles. Of course she also hopes for good health, last year she had average health and this taught her to treasure the people around her, treasure life.

On the other side, Wong He although 'angry fired' Linda, he's still a good friend. When he saw her often having sleepless nights, he got her an aroma diffuser (for aromatherapy) as a 'dismissal fee' and he hopes she can get back to sleep. As for Christmas, Wong He has another 'new interest': "I will be having many stage performances in Guangzhou Province bars and will be spending it together with the 'yan jai'("little people" - meaning Chinese yuan)! It is (yan jai), not someone's wife (yan chai)!"

In the past year, regardless if it's Wong He or his friends, there has been great ups and downs. He has also learned a lot from his friends' serious consequences. As for himself, his career only got better in the last half year, he hopes to find a powerful extraordinary manager to help him break new grounds on his work outside of TV.
