Benny Chan, who was previously involved in Rose Chan 'drunk sexual harassment' case, accompanied his wife (Lisa) to the St. Paul's Hospital in Causeway Bay yesterday morning in preparation for the C-section of their baby girl. Before Lisa went into labor, Benny pushed her into the hospital in a wheelchair. Benny appeared quite comfortable pushing his wife, he said: "All packed up! (Going into labor early?) Initially the due date was mid-December, but my baby girl's umbilical cord is wrapped around her neck, so the doctor said its better to get her out early than later. Today is also my wife's birthday, so we chose today. The two Queens will celebrate their birthday together, very special!" Benny's father and mother in-law also accompanied them.

Approximately 1pm, Benny accompanied his wife into the delivery room. Though the labor process wasn't allowed to be captured on video, but Benny personally witnessed his wife under the knife and the blood gushing out. He said he was so frightened, he started shaking.

Until 3:20pm, Benny held a press conference and announced that both mother and daughter are safe, the baby girl is 6.6 pounds and is constantly moving her arms and legs. Benny expressed his daughter's Chinese name is Chan Nga Yu, which was chosen by the elders. Her name means she is knowledgeable and knows her manners. Benny and Lisa will be responsible for the English name, but they do not have any ideas yet. Benny was asked who his daughter resembles more? He said: "When she was just born, she looked like me, but after tidying up, she looks like my wife. I think my wife is just amazing, when I saw her going through the C-section, the blood gushing out and the smell of the laser surgery, I was really frightened, but my wife was so calm. When I saw my daughter come into this world, I cried too." He continued: "That day, I cried too at the press conference, but I want to clarify that my legs weren't feeling weak. Then later the media said I was faking it! (It was rumored you paid Rose Chan HK$1 million to settle the issue?) Today is a very special day, I will talk about it after today ends! (What will you give your wife as a reward?) I will closely be by her side, I'll think about it later!"

After the Rose Chan 'sexual harassment' incident, Benny's image was severely damaged, asked if the incident has affected any of his jobs? He said: "I know have to feed another person in the family, I will need to work harder, but I don't feel like work has been affected! (Did you call your friends and family about the good news?) I called Evergreen Mak and Lam Chi Chung! After the press conference I will call Joe Ma and Timmy Hung. (Your not upset at Joe?) Why would I be? He's my friend!" He reveals he will be going back to Mainland to visit family during his wife's postpartum month.

Since Miriam Yeung and Real Ting secretly married in 2009, the couple had always wanted children, especially Real who has been so desperate that he's having a 'fever'. Real went to get checked, wanted Miriam to stop drinking cold drinks and wearing high heels. It was said a few months ago, Miriam went to see a Chinese doctor to improve her health for pregnancy. The hard work that Mr. and Mrs. Ting gone though finally paid off as they successfully got pregnant. Miriam is currently 2 months pregnant, but since the Chinese traditions fear the fetus is sensitive, so the couple have not been able to announce the good news. Yesterday reporters contacted Miriam to confirm the pregnancy news, but she has not responded yet. Real sent a SMS back saying: "Not sure! I will not comment now. Thank you all for the concern!"

According to the news, it was said after Miriam got pregnant, she became very nervous and wanted someone to accompany her all the time whenever she goes out. [Oriental Daily] reporters have been investigating for several days. Approximately 2 weeks ago, Miriam was spotted in Causeway Baby with her assistant. When she saw reporters, she was very shocked and deliberately used her hand to cover her stomach. That day the weather was around 20 degrees C, but Miriam had on a huge scarf. Usually Miriam is very jumpy, but this time she walked slowly and carefully entered the car.

However, the pregnancy wrecked Miriam's plans. Initially she wanted to complete her 5 show concert MINOR CLASSICS LIVE first before she thinks about having children, but unexpectedly her baby came early. Due to this, she was forced to change her concert costumes into maternity ones. The other night, Miriam was dressed in a maternity dress at the last show of her concert. She avoided doing rigirous dancing, at most she would just fling her arms a little and was constantly touching her stomach. When she changed into a lantern-styled costume, her behind and legs appeared quite round, just as if she's pregnant. At the end of the concert, Miriam tearfully confessed her love to her husband on stage. She thanked him for giving her so much happiness and accepting her negative temper.

After the show, Miriam accepted an interview. When asked about the 'maternity dress' she wore on stage? She said: "The initial costumes that we prepared had an accident. In the last 5 days, I kept asking Tomas to save me." Asked if she's pregnant, since she kept feeling her stomach? She said: "Haha, not yet. When I can, I will say it. I am very traditional and afraid of sensitivity. I'm afraid the more I say, the more it won't happen, very scared! So, first I want to handle all the stress from work and make sure I don't have negative emotions."

This year Ruco Chan and Tavia Yeung are both nominated for TVB's 'My Favorite TV Character Award' for their roles in The Other Truth. Although Ruco has confidence in himself, but he won't be pressured. This was the first series Ruco played the lead role, he thanked Producer Amy Wong and TVB Executive Catherine Tsang for giving him the opportunity. Ruco had always been seen as Catherine's favorite, asked if he hopes Catherine will vote for him? He said: "Of course, but Catherine had always been unbiased. Even if she does vote, it won't be because of me, but will vote based on a balance of qualities from all artists."

When asked who his greatest opponent is? Ruco frankly said: "I have confidence in myself! If I had to choose, I would say Bosco Wong. In fact I believe he definitely has the power to take Best Actor, but if he can't get that award, I still hope he gets the My Favorite TV Male Character award."

As for Tavia Yeung, she expressed she never gives herself pressure. Also she participated in the awards ceremony several years now, whoever wins the awards, she will be happy for them. She said: "Especially this year, many of the candidates are my peers, from the same generation. It feels like a group of students waiting to get their report cards. I actually feel more relaxed." When speaking of her greatest opponent, Tavia laughed and said she was part of the cast of Yes Sir, Sorry Sir, so she supports Miss Koo Linda Chung. She said: "Well I really have to go back to school and talk to the principle there, but even if it sounds selfish, I still have to give myself a vote. If I win, then I'll have an explanation for myself." She also expressed if she gets the award, she will definitely cry and let everything out because that is her true nature.

Moses Chan, who cheated the relationship with Miss Koo in Yes Sir Sorry Sir is also part of the nominations for My Favorite TV Male Character. He frankly said this year he doesn't have too much confidence because his role isn't worth flattering. Asked if its because his role cheated on a relationship? He said: "Actually I don't care about this. As an artist, we are used to fluctuate audiences' emotions. I don't have confidence in myself, but instead I support Linda Chung. She really was outstanding in the crying scenes. Let's see if she's lucky or not!"

Rose Chan’s (陳嘉桓) alleged sexual harassment by Benny Chan (陳浩民), while witnessed by Joe Ma (馬德鐘), took place on November 20th at 2 AM in Hengdian, China. When the photos were reviewed by Oriental Sunday’s editorial department, it was quite shocking! Oriental Sunday contacted Rose Chan’s manager to find out Rose’s relationship with Benny and Joe. Rose’s martial arts sifu, Sin Kwok Lam (冼國林), was extremely angry over the incident.

Oriental Sunday sought out Rose for an interview. As the publication deadline had passed for last week’s issue at that point, the interview was printed in the current issue of the magazine instead. Since the incident had occurred within 24 hours, Rose’s reaction may be in its truest form and less inhibited than after her filing of the police report in Hong Kong several days later. Regarding her “humiliation” with the two “wolves” Benny Chan and Joe Ma, Rose expressed outright hatred!

OS= Oriental Sunday ; RC= Rose Chan

OS: What exactly occurred at the barbeque restaurant?

RC: I was eating dinner with a group of Hong Kong artists. Since we were all from Hong Kong and there were veterans present, I thought it would be a good idea to talk to each other and meet up. After they drank too much alcohol, the behavior as depicted in the photos occurred. I did not know what to do; I thought whether I should stay or leave.

OS: Did you talk to other people about the incident?

RC: I spoke with my family about the incident; they advised me to be more careful going forward and that I should decline dinner invitations with people I did not know well.

OS: Did you feel as if you were sexually harassed?

RC: I do not know how to answer you…. I was the most unhappy that such incidents really do occur.

OS: They touched you from behind and your thighs? Joe Ma also leaned on your shoulder!

RC: …I am very scared right now!

OS: Why are you so scared?

RC: I kept resisting them throughout the incident. Their actions became more severe and crossed the boundary. I was very unhappy at that moment, but I did not know what to do. Right before we left, I pushed him (Benny Chan) against the wall and asked what he was doing?!

OS: Throughout the incident, did they say anything sexually suggestive to you? You were whispering to Joe Ma and appeared to be quite intimate with him. Why did you not stop him?

RC: They asked whether I was drunk. I was drinking Coke at the time, so there was no possibility of getting drunk. I felt that they were testing me throughout [the evening]. I kept saying no; I could not accept it. When I went to work today and saw Timmy Hung (洪天明), I told him I do not want to eat dinner [with Benny Chan and Joe Ma] as I did not want to be in contact with them again.

OS: Before Timmy Hung got drunk, did Benny Chan and Joe Ma touch and kiss you?

RC: Timmy helped me in resisting [them].

OS: After Timmy got drunk, they [Benny and Joe] were more aggressive and crossed the boundary?

RC: Mmmm… (sigh) I felt things were not okay at that point. I thought we should quickly leave when Timmy woke up. Afterward, their behavior became increasingly improper (sigh). Throughout the incident, I resisted. I felt that this should not be happening; I was very scared! He kept on touching me from behind. I said that I was only here to eat and not to play with you! Perhaps they thought I was a little girl and easy to bully (sigh).

OS: Since you know Wing Chun martial arts, did you consider defending yourself?

RC: I was afraid that I would be unable to hit them offensively and that they would double their efforts on me.

OS: What do you consider to be the most offensive move they committed towards you?

RC: Forcefully kissing and forcefully holding me! (They didn’t kiss your lips?) No, I dodged it. This was the first time I was without my manager and colleagues by my side. Next time I work overseas, I will find a colleague I know well to stay by my side and decrease networking functions.

Oriental Sunday Followed Hong Kong Stars for 3 Nights

Numerous Hong Kong celebrities were currently filming in Hengdian, China. On November 16, 2011, a reporter and photographer from Oriental Sunday flew to Hengdian [to visit the filming crews], arriving on the sets of The Founding of the Yuan Empire <建元風雲>and Laughter Shaking Mo Lam <笑功震武林>. During Oriental Sunday staff’s visit, Timmy Hung assembled numerous Hong Kong stars from various filming projects for dinner. From November 17th to 19th for three nights, the stars “partied”!

November 17th 8:30 PM (Szechuan Dinner) – The dinner’s organizer, Timmy Hung, reserved a VIP room on the second floor of the restaurant. Throughout the evening, Timmy was spotted going up and down the stairs to receive the artists attending the dinner. At 9:30 PM, Rose Chan arrived and Timmy went downstairs to receive her. After the dinner, the group boarded into different cars to go to a karaoke establishment. Despite attending the dinner, Alex Fong (方中信), did not follow the group to the karaoke and apparently went back to his hotel.

November 17th 10:30 PM (Karaoke) – The group arrived at the karaoke establishment and stayed until 1 AM. Timmy Hung left first without Rose Chan. Joe Ma, Benny Chan, Rose Chan, Terry Fan (樊少皇) sang until 2 AM before leaving together.

November 18th Lamb Dinner – Oriental Sunday was unable to discern where various Hong Kong artists had gathered for the evening. However, a group photo of the lamb dinner was posted on Weibo.

November 19th 8:00 PM (Hot Pot Dinner) – Oriental Sunday staff discovered that various Hong Kong celebrities had gathered for a hot pot dinner.

November 19th 10:00 PM (Karaoke) – The group of artists followed with another night of karaoke.

November 20th 12:30 AM – After karaoke, the women (except Rose Chan) returned to their hotels escorted by the male artists. Benny Chen drove one passenger on his motorcycle; Joe Ma drove two passengers in his car and Timmy Hung drove Meng Yao (孟瑤).

November 20th 1:00 AM – (Werewolves Appear) After the female artists were settled, the men went to a barbeque restaurant. The brave Rose Chan ventured with the group. Unfortunately, Timmy Hung fell into a drunken stupor shortly after arriving at the barbeque restaurant. Benny Chan’s behavior crossed the boundary line, while Rose Chan and Joe Ma appeared to be quite intimate in the photos. Oriental Sunday staff quickly took photos documenting the entire incident.

Fala Chen has confidence for the December 5th TVB Anniversary Awards. She expressed everything is already the past and that during filming she tried her best to do the best. The other night, Malaysia Astro held the "AOD My Favourite 2011 Awards', Myolie Wu won Best Actress, while she and Michael Tse won the 'Favorite On-Screen Couple'. It was said the Astro awards are just 'condolence awards' and that Myolie's chances to get the TVB TV Queen award is greatly reduced. Fala was asked if she has more confidence to get TV Queen now? She said: "Both award presentations have different mechanisms and are by different hosts. Audiences' taste is different, each person will have a chance, it's very fair."

Also, it was rumored TVB deliberately wanted to use Curse of the Royal Harem (CRH) to push Myolie Wu for TV Queen and not Fala's Lives of Omission , in which her role was well-received. Fala said: "CRH is the anniversary series, so naturally the series will be heavily weighted. I also hope Lives of Omission could be broadcast during the anniversary period, it's hot and fresh."

Fala will be heading over to the States to recover from her [trigeminal] condition and had no choice but to withdraw from new series The Prominent Family. After Miss Hong Kong Rebecca Zhu replaced Fala in new film Laughing Gor Turning Point 2, she replaces her again in the new series. Looks like Rebecca is Fala's 'substitute'. Fala said: "I don't agree that we look alike. Rebecca was formally a dancer and a performer, I believe she will have different developments in her performances. As Miss HK, Rebecca has been working continuously, I am happy for her too."

The Malaysian channel Astro Wah Lai Toi held their My AOD Favourite Awards Presentation 2011 yesterday. The show will be broadcast on December 3rd on AOD. The 'My Favorite TV Best Actor and Actress' awards went to Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu. Michael Tse and Fala Chen shared the 'My Favorite TV On-Screen Couple' award and Wayne Lai just got one of the 15 presented 'My Favorite TV Character' awards.

The results for the Astro TVB awards had always been very close to the TVB Anniversary Awards results. However last year Moses Chan and Charmaine Sheh broke the tradition on the 'My Favorite TV Best Actor and Actress' awards. This year, it is uncertain if it would be happiness or sadness for Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu at the TVB Anniversary Awards.

A hot favorite for TV Queen this year, Myolie Wu appeared in a see-through flowered dress to the awards presentation. Since the other TV Queen hot favorite, Fala Chen, was absent from the event due to work and Myolie wasn't nominated for her role in Ghetto Justice, but for her grand production Curse of the Royal Harem, so Myolie appeared quite domineering.

When Myolie received her award, she became very emotional. Raymond Lam, who was sitting in the audience, took the lead to start shouting Myolie's rumored boyfriend Bosco Wong's English name, causing her some embarrassment. Myolie said: "Thank you Tommy Leung for not giving up on me over the last 10 years. It is him (Bosco) that told me to not thank him, but I will still thank him!" Bosco just brought up how Myolie teased he had a short tongue at the TVB Anniversary Gala: "I told her not to mention it again!"

Depending on Ghetto Justice, Kevin Cheng was crowned Astro's TV King, he frankly said: "Someone asked me, taking this award, means that I won't get the TVB award. I feel really contradictory right now, then am I going to get it or not? (The audience cheered loudly 'Yes!') Then I feel better now, I need to take advatange of this time and speak more because I won't have too many chances."

Sharon Chan, won 'My Favorite TV Supporting Actress' for her role in Ghetto Justice. When she accepted the award, she was crying emotionally and pointed her award up to the sky saying the award is for her father. As for Fala Chen, she was absent from the awards presentation, but the event organizers made arrangements for a "Malaysian Fala Chen", who is actually the Miss Malaysia winner (Lim Jia Bing) to present the 'My Favorite TV On-Screen Couple Award' to Michael Tse.

Also, although Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung and Ruco Chan didn't pocket any big awards, but yesterday morning when they arrived in Kuala Lumpur, they got a large group of fans waiting at the airport to pick them up. Compared to the other TVB Siu Sang and FaDans that came with them, the three were more popular. Ruco mentioned his late grandmother is a from Malaysia and is surprised seeing his rise in popularity.

At Raymond Lam’s (林峯) autograph signing event for the release of his concert DVD, over 500 fans appeared. A giant gift box was brought out, upon which a beautiful woman jumped out the box with a birthday cake in hand. December 8th will be Raymond’s birthday, in which he revealed that a large birthday party will be held with fans around the world. Regarding the competition for TVB’s TV King competition, Raymond expressed confidence.

Raymond’s rumored girlfriend, Rose Chan (陳嘉桓), was recently implicated in a scandal in which Benny Chan (陳浩民) had touched her inappropriately after a few drinks. [Joe Ma (馬德鐘) was also present at the time, but his involvement was cleared by Rose's sifu, Sin Kwok Lam (冼國林).] Raymond noted, “After filming a music video together, Rose and I have very little contact with each other. I found the news to be very shocking. I have known Joe Ma for a very long time.” (Joe took advantage of being drunk to take advantage of Rose!) “He is a veteran who possesses loyalty (義氣) and takes good care of me. The news was very shocking to me!”

In Raymond’s mind, Rose Chan was very pure. It has been several years since Raymond last filmed in Hengdian, China. After working, Raymond would normally eat dinner with the cast and crew, but he rarely drank alcohol due to the tight filming schedule. Regarding conflicting conjectures that Rose Chan had brought the incident upon herself due to her warm personality, Raymond said, “Since the incident had progressed to this stage, it is inappropriate to comment too much on the matter.”

Famous comedy actor Ricky Hui Koon Ying earlier passed away due to heart disease at the age of 65. His family yesterday held a wake and the funeral will take place today at noon.

Yesterday around 3PM three to four security guards erected barriers outside the hall to prevent media coverage, but reporters through the barrier gaps peeked into the hall and saw white cloth decorations with white roses all over. In the center was a photo of a smiling Hui Koon Ying with his arms crossed in a brown military uniform style shirt. The banner across wrote "FOREVER MISSED". On both sides were "Puffer Fish's" favorite eagle designs. At the entrance were an eagle display and condolence book, as well as a crystal photo frame with a smaller scale photo. The hall also kept playing videos from "Puffer Fish's" past films like MR. COCONUT (HUP GA FOON), ALL'S WELL ENDS WELL TOO (FA TIN HEI SI) and CHICKEN AND DUCK TALK (GAI TUNG NGAP GONG). Inside and outside the hall were floral arrangements from "Puffer Fish's" friends like Andy Lau Tak Wa, Jacky Cheung Hok Yau and May Law Mei Mei, Adam Cheng Siu Chau, Chin Siu Ho, Raymond Wong Pak Ming, Clifton Ko Chi Sum, Nat Chan Pak Cheung and Wong Hung Sau, Ng Man Tat, Meg Lam Kin Ming, Peter Lam Kin Ngok, Peter Chan Ho Sun and Sandra Ng Kwan Yu, Bernice Liu Bik Yi, Leo Ku Kui Ke, TVB, RTHK and others. The Hui family also arranged for cakes and bottled water for reporters.

Hui Koon Ying's family arrived early, the most heartbroken was his little brother Sam Hui Koon who has never been able to let go. He even avoided the media when he entered the hall. His brother Hui Koon Mo arrived around 4PM, while big brother Michael Hui Koon Man arrived with his son, daughter and daughter in law. Although their vehicle went directly into the parking lot, Michael still looked sadden in the front passenger seat. Later director Ko Chi Sum came to pay his respect. He emotionally revealed, "Ah Ying looked very peaceful, like he was asleep! (Was Sam very sad?) Sam should have arrived early, I didn't see him. I just saw Michael and his eyes were red. I myself am very sentimental. I thought he would be able to live for many more years, I never expected him to go so soon, so fast, I will really miss him!" He also said that he did not see "Puffer Fish's" girlfriend and has never seen her before. As for the funeral details Hui Koon Mo was in charge.

Others who came to pay their respect were Chin Siu Ho, Jacquelin Chong Si Man, Lisa Ch'ng Si Ming, Liu Bik Yi and others. Due to her red hair Chong Si Man wore a fisherman hat. She also revealed that she met "Puffer Fish" during Sam's concert tour performance. After the shows ended they stayed in touch. She thought that he was someone who had no arrogance and took care of younger generation. She has seen his movies since she was little, so she had respect for him. Her deepest memory of him was that he often joked around and was philosophical. The last time she saw him was a year ago at a friend's wedding banquet. At the time he looked as if he would be tired easily so she did not disturb him. She also saw that he was able to take care of himself. "Puffer Fish's" first girlfriend Suen Bo Ling also returned from Singapore. When Wu Fung left he said that he did not go to the viewing, his family did not appear to be excessively sadden. He also said that he did not see Sam, only Sam's sons Ryan and Scottie who were helping out.

Fala Chen is experiencing some issues with her trigeminal nerves and because she fears her condition may worsen, she decided to take off next month (December) to seek treatment in the US. Because of this, she helplessly withdrew from TVB grand production series The Prominent Family. TVB is urgently looking for a replacement, it was said Fala's role is already decided for this year's Miss Hong Kong winner Rebecca Zhu. TVB Production Director Tommy Leung admitted: "Although Rebecca Zhu is a newcomer, but she is already quite comfortable with acting. (Is the decision related to Rebecca having some resemblance to Fala?) A little! But it is mainly because she has suitable qualities for the role. This series is set in the 1920-1930s era."

Rebecca can be considered to be the representative of the many Miss HK. Not long after she received the title, she got to be in a movie and now she even has the opportunity to be one of the lead actresses in a TV series. She will have the chance to compete with Tavia Yeung in acting skills, so she definitely did not mind picking up a 'second hand'. "TVB gave me so many opportunities, I am very grateful and happy. I will put in my greatest effort and cherish. As a newcomer, there is definitely pressure, but I just met with Tavia Yeung, we chatted and she's a very nice person. I believe with the others watching over me, it should be okay."

According to sources, earlier Rose Chan filed a police report on her sexual harassment case with the HK Police, but because of the judicial system, the HK police can only conduct limited investigations and are unlikely to get enough evidence to press charges on the persons involved (Benny Chan/Joe Ma). Within a day, Sin Kwok Lam (Rose's mentor) filed a report with the Public Security in Mainland and reported to the Hong Kong Court of the allegations against Benny Chan for infringement of bodily integrity. The HK police classified the case as an outside offense, the procedures will start next week. Benny will be meeting with the police next week and may take an oral statement.

No contact of sensitive areas of the body

Yesterday Master Sin and TVB executive Virgina Lok held a joint press conference and attracted nearly 50 reporters to the scene. Virgina said: "After discussing with Master Sin in the past two days and coming to a consensus, many thanks for the understanding and support. Joe Ma just called me, he wanted to thank Master Sin, Rose Chan and her family." Master Sin said Joe admitted he did not handle the incident properly, and did not lend a helping hand. He said: "I asked Rose before, she said at the time Joe pulled her closer because he wanted to comfort her. I asked if she was alright and [learned] his hand did not touch any sensitive part of her body. Joe explained at the time he did have too many drinks and didn't react immediately to offer his help. People makes mistakes, forgive whenever possible. After understanding the truth, [we] will not wrong a good man." Master Sin also said Joe initiated an apology and didn't push the responsibilities. He is sincere, never tried to escape from the incident, didn't borrow Rose Chan to reach a higher level [in his career] and when Rose was feeling down, he showed his understanding and tolerance.

Does not forgive Benny Chan

However, Master Sin insists on 'biting tightly' on Benny Chan and won't let him go. He is furious when he saw Benny Chan and his manager on Weibo not admitting to the [inappropriate] acts done on Rose. They pushed the responsibility and pun was intended in their language. Master Sin was asked if he forgives Benny? He said: "His behavior and actions were inappropriate. This is clearly a serious matter, the laws are on the ground and he still pushed away the responsibility. He is morally wrong! (Benny's press conference didn't touch you?) A lot of it was to conceal a fault. His entire speech was written on paper, even the several bows he did was written out on paper, the answer is in the heart! His so-called apology, he was not honest since the incident happened. First he said he didn't touch Rose, then he explained he had 'good hospitality', then he pushed away the responsibility, saying he has to be wiser when meeting people and finally he said someone is borrowing him to get up top, that the more popular someone is, the more gossips there will be! I cannot see his sincerity at all! I will not consider his so-called apology." Asked about the earlier police report, which one of them was the accusations directed upon? He said: "We are just speaking the truth. Whoever is sued, the Department of Justice will decide. I don't think Joe Ma will be sued."

As for Rose Chan's press conference, in which she mentioned "The two seniors turned to a totally different person", Sin Kwok Lam explained: "Cute suddenly turns into a wolf. Why wouldn't a modest noble offer his helping hand? Hopes turned into disappointment, so that's why she said that, because she had really good impression on these two before, but suddenly they turned into this."

Regrets slapping Rose and calling her stupid

Master Sin exposed he questioned Rose as to why she was often seen with Benny and Joe at the nightclubs, to such an extent as to giving others the opportunity [to harm her], but Rose couldn't answer. He said: "I kept pursuing the questions on her, girls should always maintain her distance even if she knows the person well. I slapped her once on the face and called her stupid. I only did that because I care about her. I still haven't apologized to her yet." It was rumored they received a 'shut up order', Master Sin expressed there is no such thing.

When speaking of Rose Chan being involved in Timmy Hung and Janet Chow's relationship, Master Sin urged the media to stop making up stories. He said he also received an apologetic SMS from Timmy: "He is my nephew (TN: not an actual nephew), Sammo Hung is a respected big brother of mines. Timmy didn't protect Rose knowing that he (Benny) had a history of this and didn't warn her! For his father and himself, he should keep away from these friends."

It was rumored Joe Ma and his wife are having some issues in their marriage. Virgina said Joe's wife already went to Mainland to accompany and support her husband. Master Sin sent a message: "His wife put in a great deal of effort, he really has to cherish the present and his family." Asked if the incident has caused any impact on Joe and TVB's relationship? Virgina said: "Two separate issues. The urgent priority now is to settle this case. Artists who are not in HK should not get too comfortable, still have to put the guards up and defend. You can drink, but you may not get drunk. Rose Chan is a very simple girl, hope she'll be ok soon and can get back into her work."

Yesterday Niki Chow and Michael Tse took part in the costume fitting of TVB new series Policewoman Love Battlefield. Niki appeared dressed in a complete policewoman uniform, which was 18 pounds in total. On the contrary, Michael who plays a director of a newspaper company had it easy. Niki said: "In the next 3 months, I will treat myself as a true policewoman. There are many things I have to pay attention to. I also wanted to salute to the women police officers because the training for women officers are the same as men officers. The female body is naturally cannot compare to a males. Fortunately, I can physically handle the training, but this is still a challenge for me (Do you have many action scenes?) It's not necessary for me to actually go chase thieves. There are just a few gun shooting and jumping off building scenes. It's quite interesting actually."

Michael said he plays a reporter this time, and is no longer required to be an undercover. It is only for work that he comes into contact with Niki (in the series). As to Niki's role was initially for Anita Yuen? Michael said: "Anita has her own style, and Niki also has her own style too for the portrayal of a policewoman. Niki played a female constable before, which is equivalent to the modern policewoman. Niki's acting is outstanding and is well-received by audience."

In the photo, the two were closely watching the horizon together, looking very romantic. Koni wrote: "I am getting married! I finally have this day!" Since the photo was made public, a large group of artists congratulated her. Charmaine Sheh replied: "Congratulations! Soooo happy for u!" Carol Cheng (Do Jeh) said: "Congrats! September of this year, when Koni attended TVB's "September Stars" event, she exposed her boyfriend isn't in the industry.

Yesterday Koni attended the costume fitting for TVB new series Policewoman Love Battlefield, when asked if she can confirm if her fiance is Dickson Wong? He is very faithful and loyal to me."

How many rumored boyfriends do I have anyway?" Asked how Dickson touched her heart? Koni said: "Mostly because he's handsome and very attentive. He will be arranging everything for the wedding. He knows I hate troubles." She said her boyfriend proposed to her several months ago: "Can't go without flowers and a ring. I'm actually very easy to pursue. My family knows about the marriage too. We are very low-key, a two person world without anyone else. (You agreed at once?) Yes."

Koni expressed the wedding banquet will be held on December 13th with approximately 20 tables. Asked if Dickson have already met her parents? Koni said: "Yes. They arranged everything long before, he's very attentive and knows me well. He knows what I like." Asked if Koni didn't want to announce? She said: "Yes, but I couldn't hold it, just too exciting and it's a happy event. I just feel I am in great happiness."

Yesterday at 4pm, Benny Chan held a press conference accompanied by his 10 month pregnant wife (Lisa) and his manager. Dressed in a black suit and tie, Benny had a desolated expression, while he helped his wife to her seat and showed how good of a husband he is. Soon after, his manager made the opening speech, Benny held onto his wife's hand as he started his confession: "Regarding the unpleasant event that happened to Ms. Rose Chan last week in Hengdian, here I would like to say with all my heart...(big sigh) sorry." Following his apology, Benny did a 90 degree bow.

Then Bowie sat back down and continued: "I admit that day I did drink too much, my actions crossed the line and were inappropriate. Here, I admit that I was really wrong. (becomes emotional and tears forming) I really didn't mean to! (sighs) I didn't mean to hurt Rose. I know the incident, this time, has cause her embarrassment and unhappiness, here I apologize to her loving family and friends. Because of my unintentional mistake, I drank too much and caused so much trouble to her, making people that love her worry and unhappy, here I want to say sorry to them."

Benny stressed he felt regretful after the incident and did not forget to apologize to his wife, family, friends and fans. When he mentioned his family, Benny's tears came running down as he emotionally shouted: "I was really wrong!" At this moment, his wife Lisa, who was initially calm, she started tearing up as well and handed a tissue to her husband. She also patted his back to comfort him.

After sobbing for about 30 seconds, Benny puts away his emotions and continues: "I really regret it, I am an adult and still so playful. I don't know what I can do to compensate for my wrongdoings. The most fortunate is that I got my wife's forgiveness and trust. She gave me the chance to change and start fresh again, (sobs) so I can become a responsible father and husband that is willing to change. From here on, I promise everyone that I will put great effort into quitting drinking. I will go see the doctor and if the doctor feels its necessary for me to go through treatments to quit drinking, I am more than willing to accept. I really want to cut off all relations with alcohol."

Benny said he has already learned a lesson and will reflect on his actions. He apologizes to Rose Chan once again: "I sincerely apologize to Rose Chan again. Please forgive me." Following his apology, Benny stood up once again and bowed. Then he continued: "Finally, I want to apologize to two seniors, one is Rose's mother and Master Sin (Rose' mentor/manager), this incident has really got them heartbroken and upset. I am truly the one to blame, here I send them my deepest apologies, sorry." Benny stood up and bowed for the third time.

When Benny sat back down, Lisa continued the statement, she spoke in Mandarin and pleaded for her husband: "This time, Benny really did acknowledged his mistake, I hope friends present today can give him a second chance because he indeed apologized and promised me (the two looks at each other) to really put in effort to quit drinking. For our baby and I, Benny will work hard on his jobs. I hope everyone will forgive him and I hope Little Rose Chan can forgive Benny. Thank you."

The press conference ended with Lisa's statement. Wonder if Benny was just too emotional, but when he was getting up to leave, his legs were shaky and he just couldn't stop crying. His emotions were out of control, he sobs and shouts: "I am sorry to her!" Benny had to get support from his wife, and even his manager, who was supporting Lisa, switched sides and went to support Benny instead.

When leaving, reporters asked if Rose had any drinks at the time and did she resist? Can he give up his attractions for female charms? Does he feel Joe Ma lacks a sense of brotherhood? Benny just whimpered: "I'm not commenting anymore, sorry!"

Yesterday Sharon Chan attended the opening ceremony of Hair Signature, she expressed she had collaborated with Joe Ma several times before: "He is like a big brother. In series, he actually did play my big brother, he treats me like a younger sister. He really looks after people."

It was rumored Joe's wife wants to divorce him. Sharon said: "I know his wife too, so it's not convenient for me to comment, but I don't want them to divorce and cause a [negative] influence on the children. I hope the relationship can be rescued. They are very matching. Ah So (Joe's wife) treats Joe very well. Every marriage will have many tests, hope they will be okay."

Sharon expressed she knows how to protect herself and will not go to nightclubs when working in Mainland. She said: "Once I finish dinner, I will go straight back to the hotel. I won't drink. The people that know me will not ask me to go out and play either."

Sharon has been with TVB for over 10 years, but the other night, she wasn't presented with the "10 Year Gold Metal", which is very disappointing. She said: "Being with TVB for 10 years, there is so much feelings, I hope my work continues for 20 years, then I'll get the gold metal."

Recently the rumors between Kate Tsui and Ron Ng have gotten his 'real' girlfriend Viann Zhang extremely upset. It turns out that Kate's Mr. Right is someone else, Sammy Shum, who is known as the "Knock-Off Louis Koo". It was said the two have developed feelings after all the series they have been shooting together lately. What Kate likes most about Sammy is that he is tall and handsome, plus he's a fan of dancing. The two often meet up for dance rehearsal and dates in Wan Chai.

Both Kate and Sammy grew up overseas, they are both on the same page and are on the right key. Earlier the two even disguised themselves as the male and female lead to Twilight!

Last Wednesday at 6pm, Sammy appeared at the coffee shop alone and after 10 minutes, Kate arrived. The two sat together by the window in the coffee shop hanging out, chatting and laughing together. They looked very close.

Following the rumors with Ron Ng, "The Shell King" Chan Kwok Cheung and "Stage Prop Guy", recently news broke out that Kate is actually with TVB fourth line actor Sammy. This year, the two got to know each other better during the shooting of Forensic Heroes III and then collaborated again in Lives of Omission, where love officially sparked.

Sammy somewhat resembles Louis Koo, earlier he was chosen in particular by TVB to be one of the heavily promoted artists. The initial plans were for him to join three other newcomers to form the group, Super Four and release an album, but unfortunately the plan died out. Later, he started dating JJ Jia, but sadly JJ's management broke them up. In the recent year, Sammy had been stuck with the supporting roles, but he was fortunate that Kate Tsui, who is currently at FaDan level, did not avoid him. Kate has a Western girl character, where she treats everyone the same and chats happily with the behind-the-scenes staff. Although Sammy is basically a nobody, he is still a tall and handsome guy. He can play musical instruments, sing and dance, he knows a bit of everything. Also, he is a fan of dancing, so when Kate and Sammy didn't have to film, they would chat about dancing nonstop.

According to an insider, "Coincidentally they both like dancing and grew up overseas. They have so much in common and get along well. They did two series in a row together. When being with someone so much, feelings will develop." Recently, the two fell in love with Argentina Tango and close body contact is required in this type of dance. The dance routines are provocative, which is most suitable for couples or married couples to partner up in.

Recently Joe Ma and Benny Chan were involved in the Rose Chan 'drunk sexual harassment' case. Following Rose's press conference yesterday, Joe also issued a formal statement to strictly clarify he did not do any sort of violation, sexual harassment or intentional reckless behavior on Rose. He feels sorry and regret that an unpleasant event happened to Rose.

I, Mr. Joe Ma feel regret and sorry for the unpleasant event that happened to Ms. Rose Chan (Ms. Chan) earlier!

In regards to the false reports and allegations towards me in the Oriental Sunday Issue #728 cover story and content, I am currently seeking advice on defamation from my lawyer and reserve the right to take legal action.

Also, towards Ms. Chan's press conference held on the afternoon of November 22, 2011, where Chan spoke about the Hengdian incident, she mentioned: "I have never thought two people I saw were seniors in the entertainment industry...couldn't believe they could turn into a completely different person." In regards to this comment, I strictly declare I did not violate or sexually harass Ms. Chan. And I had no intention to do any reckless behavior to Ms. Chan. Yesterday the cast to Forensic Heroes III including Maggie Cheung, Kate Tsui, Nancy Wu and Ron Ng gathered for a celebration of the great success of the series. Rose Chan's 'drunk sexual harassment' case that Benny Chan and Joe Ma are involved in has been a hot topic in the entire city. Regarding the incident, Ron Ng expressed: "I've seen the reports too, it really is a little over the limit. Perhaps [they] had too many drinks, I feel like they must say sorry. I have collaborated with both of the actors involved in this case, but I don't feel they are that type of people. Benny can get quite crazy when he's drunk and really open when he plays. However, this time they really went overboard. They must make a formal apology. I just feel the entertainment circle can be very dark. Personally, I don't really drink, so I don't know what happens when I am drunk. Alcohol violence has always been wrong."

Kate Tsui: "I collaborated with Joe Ma before and I know him well. He is very straightforward, very polite, respectful and professional. I've been out to dinner with a large group of people like that before, but I have never seen him behaving like that. We are all just guessing now, we don't know if there is any misunderstanding in between. I work in Mainland myself, and as a girl, you must protect yourself at anytime, anywhere."

Nancy Wu: "I collaborated with both of them before. The Joe Ma I know is not like that. As far as I know, Benny has very good hospitality. The people who were involved in the incident knows best. My views are, if a girl senses that everyone is drunk and she feels uncomfortable, then it is not suitable for her to be playing with such a large group of people. She should refrain or don't drink, and should just leave. She shouldn't stay and really protect herself."

Angela Tong: "I have only seen the pictures. If this is true, they should really provide an explanation and say sorry. I don't know what is good hospitality, but if someone is treating me like that, I will know how to avoid and believe Chin Kar Lok isn't like that. The Benny Chan and Joe Ma I know are not like that."

Jessie Shum: "The first time I saw the photos, I was like 'Wah! It looks like they had a good time.' I'm not sure how familiar they are with each other, but if someone was being touched unwillingly and feels uncomfortable, I would support calling the police. Joe Ma and I have collaborated once. We had little scenes together, but I feel he's a very good person and is serious. I also collaborated with Rose Chan before too, she is a very happy and cute girl."

Yesterday Rose Chan held a press conference in Kwun Tong accompanied by her manager and lawyer to discuss the 'drunk sexual harassment' incident involving Benny Chan and Joe Ma. Over 50 reporters were present.

Rose started the press conference by expressing her feelings in the last several days: "Thanks to all the media for the concern. After the incident, my mentor and everyone in my company as well as myself have been very unhappy. I want to clarify the incident. Earlier when I was shooting a new film in Mainland, I would meet up with the other artists for dinner. Two days before the incident, we had dinner, nothing happened. Also, I go to these dinners because Timmy Hung is there. Timmy is someone I trust and also Timmy's father Sammo Hung is very familiar with my mentor. That night during supper because I wanted to sit with Timmy, I stayed behind. Initially nothing was happening, but when Timmy passed out, this incident happened. At the time, I was really scared. They are two of my seniors that have a very happy family. I thought they would see me as a little girl, but I couldn't believe they could turn into a different person. I just couldn't react..."

At this point, Rose paused and then continued: "My master warned me to be careful. I really didn't have enough alertness and had to say sorry to my mentor at home for making them worry!"

During the whole explanation, Rose was able to control her emotions and remained calm. When she mentioned her family and mentor, she couldn't hold it anymore, she kept her head down and did not speak. Tears were filling up her eyes, and it was only after a moment when she was able to accept questions from the media.

Reporter: When the incident was happening, did you resist?

Rose: Yes, I did, but I couldn't react in time. They were people I trusted...and I'm unfamiliar with everything, I didn't know how to leave.

Reporter: Did you drink?

Rose: No

Reporter: Joe Ma said he and Master Sin came to consensus?

Manager: Boss never said that!

Lawyer: In fact, when you go report a case, after reporting, the police decides who the defendant and witnesses are.

Reporter: Have Joe Ma and Benny Chan ever apologized?

Rose: (pauses) It is not convenient for me to say. When everything is handled, I will say.

Reporter: Earlier Rose, you said you tried to resist, but after Joe came into contact with your body, then he helped you put on jacket?

Rose: I did try to resist, but in fact I didn't have my guard up and was not alert.

Reporter: Is this your first time meeting them in Mainland?

Rose: Yes, I met them in Hengdian. We often go out for dinner in a large group.

During the time Rose was answering questions from reporters, there were several questions, she didn't how to face and had to have others help her answer. Just like "How long did the actions (hugs/kisses) last?", "Did they touch your sensitive areas or chest area?", "In some photos, you were smiling?" Rose did not answer. Her lawyer sitting besides her said they reported the case to the police and anything details related to the case cannot be answered.

A police spokesperson expressed that yesterday the police received a report from a 19 year old girl. She claimed that she was sexually harrassed while in Mainland earlier. The case will be handled as an abroad crime.

Rose Chan (陳嘉桓) was unfortunately sexually harassed by Benny Chan (陳浩民) and Joe Ma (馬德鐘) while in Hengdian, China several days ago. Sunday Magazine’s publication of the photos chronicling the harassment incident ignited angry reactions among Hong Kong celebrities, with Nick Cheung (張家輝) and Simon Yam (任達華) blasting the men’s unscrupulous behavior. Nick Cheung even cursed angrily, “If someone violated my daughter in this manner, I will [expletive] kill him!”

Nick Cheung noted, “My wife, Esther Kwan (關詠荷), and I are artists and also the parents of our daughter. If the harassment did in fact occur, I support the police to step in to handle the situation. If you consider the situation from Rose’s family’s perspective, they must be very hurt.” (If someone violated your daughter in such a manner, what will you do?) “I will [expletive] kill him! Even if you are drunk, you have to be responsible for your behavior!”

Condemned for Lewd Behavior
Nick professed that he did not know Rose Chan, Joe Ma, or Benny Chan well, but felt that Rose was only a young girl. Since she was working in China alone, veteran actors should take care of her. The reporter pointed out that life in Hengdian was dull and there was not much entertainment; thus, actors were easily prompted to “commit wrongdoings.” Nick strongly disagreed, “I also filmed in Hengdian in the past. As to whether you commit wrongdoings or not depend on the person. Please remember to tell everyone that the entertainment industry is not like this!”

Upon learning of Rose being sexually harassed, Simon Yam said, “They acted in such a horrendous manner? If this were true, they need to reflect upon their actions! Drinking can lead to problems! The Monkey King (Benny Chan’s) powers cannot match Wing Chun martial arts. Why don’t you ask Dennis To (杜宇航) to take a few sips and have a few rounds with him!” Simon urged Benny Chan and Joe Ma to issue public apologies to Rose Chan.

After seeing the harassment photos, Eric Tsang (曾志偉) angrily blasted, “That should not have happened! That’s too much! Let me go back and use my Wing Chun powers to knock those guys down!” (You will teach them a lesson?) “When I go to Hengdian next month, I will be sure to do so! Benny Chan often plays wildy, but Joe Ma is not like that! Perhaps he drank some fake wine? Last month, there was a chauffer who drank some fake white wine and he turned violent.”

Eric often got into trouble after drinking too much. Due to his experience, Eric said, “The worst thing is that you do not recall what happened even after you have gained mental clarity. Perhaps now they are immensely regretting their actions.” (But when you are drunk, you do not commit such lewd actions?) “That’s because my health is in a poor condition!”
Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) commented that it was inevitable that artists had to go drinking for networking purposes. He will be careful in avoiding getting drunk. “If I wish to drink, I will stay home to do so. If there are any problems, this will not impact other people.”

When asked to comment on Rose’s harassment incident, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) indicated that she was unclear about the situation and did not wish to interject. Myolie indicated that she has only encountered gentlemen since entering the industry. Asked whether she was taken advantage of while drunk, Myolie replied, “No!” (How would you react if it happened to you?) “I do not know, but I hope it does not happen to any woman!”

Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) hoped that Rose’s emotions will return to normal soon. “I have filmed in mainland, China too and there were celebratory banquets. Each time, I have to work early in the morning, thus I did not stay too long at the dinners. Although my alcohol tolerance is not high, no one forced me to drink with them.”

Supporters of Benny Chan and Joe Ma

Benny Chan’s good friend, Evergreen Mak (麥長青), trusted that Benny possessed a good character. “I do not understand why the photos were taken at such a close distance! There were so many people present. If the harassment had indeed occurred, someone should have stopped it.” (Will you urge Benny Chan to drink less?) “He has been drinking less. Last time I saw him, he did not even drink.”

Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) supported that Joe Ma was a gentleman. “Since entering the industry, I have been very lucky. The senior actors have taken good care of me. Joe Ma is a good ‘si hing’ [senior brother]. The actors at TVB are very gentleman and take care of junior artists.” (If Moses Chan (陳豪) acted in such a manner, what would you do?) “Ha ha! It depends on whom he kisses!”

The other night, Kate Tsui, Aimee Chan, Nancy Wu, Ron Ng, Maggie Cheung and Edwin Siu watched the 2 hour finale of Forensic Heroes III together with a large group of fans. Among the three beauties, Kate was the most revealing, but was overshadowed by Maggie's tears. When Maggie saw the part where Aimee Chan was murdered, she teared up and successfully stole the limelight in a different way.

Regarding the three beauties competing for sexiness, Kate laughed: "Honestly, just respecting the occasion, there is no competition. This series got such good ratings, I hope there will be more breakthroughs! I heard Nelson Leung will be treating us all a meal later, and I also hope to team up with Maggie, Ron and the others to treat the crew a meal too." Aimee and Nancy were both dressed in see-through dresses, like a pair of twins. Nancy expressed they didn't set this up and suggested that TVB should make arrangements for the two to be twins next time. As Nancy had a bloody murder in the series, Nancy surprisingly said: "I thought it wasn't bloody enough, the cross-blooded scar could be even more intense. However, just now when I saw some of the clips, it really felt bitter."

Producer Miu Siu Ching expressed she does not know about shooting part 4 to the Forensic Heroes series, but the series has already left a hook line, so if there will be a part 4, will have to see the audience responses. Asked if this implies she will no longer leave TVB? She said: "I'll think about it! The series had such good response."

That night at the FH3 finale gathering, Ron Ng was fortunate enough to win a brand name watch, but he generously declined to accept and was willing to put it back in for the raffle. Results, Ram Chiang won the watch instead. During the interview, Ron supported the idea that he, Kate and the other leads should treat the entire crew a meal to celebrate. Earlier, Wayne Lai already took the lead in treating the meal, but Ron is more than willing to provide his support on the side.
