It seems Chinese actress, Kitty Zhang Yuqi (張雨綺), is heading for reconciliation with her ex-husband, Yuan Bayuan.  The two has had an eventful two months when it first announced Kitty Zhang allegedly slashed her husband in a domestic violence dispute during this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival.  Then days after the incident, Kitty Zhang Yuqi announced through her manager that she and Yuan Bayuan would be divorcing.  However, the two were seen walking hand in hand in the streets of Shanghai earlier this month, seemingly heading for reconciliation.  

Chinese actress, Bai Baihe’s (白百何) ex-husband, Chen Yufan (陳羽凡), who is famous in his own right as one half of the music duo, Yu Quan (羽泉), has been arrested for drug use and possession of drugs.  The singer is currently being detained by authorities in Beijing.  Bai Baihe has been silent, while his partner, Hu Haiquan (胡海泉), vented on Weibo with ten “why” questions, alluding to why Chen Yufan would do such a foolish thing.

TVB artist, Bowie Cheung (張寶兒), attended a jewelry event today.  When asked if she was picking out her dowry, she laughed and said she doesn’t need to buy it herself.  Her boyfriend, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), recently won both the Singapore and Malaysian versions of TVB’s “Best Actor Award”.  When asked if she’s ready to get married if Benjamin Yuen claims the third “Best Actor” award at the TVB Anniversary Awards show next month, Bowie Cheung says, “I think it’s hard to plan this, but right now is not an opportune time.  We’re both so focused on our careers.”

Bowie Cheung goes on further to say it’s hard to talk about the future, but as of this moment, she is working hard on her career.  When reporters brought up that Benjamin Yuen said he was ready, but is actually giving her time to develop her career, Bowie Cheung says, “He’s putting me on the spot.  His career is running so smoothly right now, he needs more time to do even better.  I’m throwing the ball back into his court.”  

When asked if she has voted for Benjamin Yuen yet, she says, she hasn’t, but believes he has the ability to claim the title for the third time.  She also adds, “If he wins, I will need to think of a surprise for him.”  The reporters asked what she will do if he proposes on stage, Bowie Cheung says, “I think proposals are better done in private.  It’s best the moment is just captured between the two people.”

It has been reported 38 year old Hong Kong actress, Cecilia Cheung (張栢芝), has given birth to her third child, a son, on November 25th.  The mom of two had actually posted a video with a little girl on her Instagram in February of this year with the caption: “She’s too cute.  Before 2018 ends, I must have a baby.  This is my goal!”  Unfortunately her account is now private and no longer has any posts.  

Cecilia Cheung was married to celebrity Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) until their divorce in 2011.  She has been taking care of their two children, Lucas and Quintus, primarily in Singapore.  Back in March, Cecilia Cheung’s mother had revealed her daughter was being pursued by a wealthy 65 year old Singaporean businessman.   It is said he is a shareholder of a Singaporean fast food chain corporation and also has a publicly traded company in Singapore.  He is said to be the father of Cecilia Cheung’s third child. 

Chinese actresses Tang Yan (唐嫣) and Yang Mi (楊冪) were at the same fashion event for VogueFilm in Beijing yesterday.  This is news because Tang Yan got married in Vienna almost two weeks ago and everyone was expecting Yang Mi to be her bridesmaid since Tang Yan was hers at her wedding with Hawick Lau (劉愷威).  However, Yang Mi didn’t attend, fueling their discord rumors even more. The lifetime event we’ve all been waiting for has happened.  In a short clip shared online, Tang Yan and Yang Mi had no interactions whatsoever, seeming to avoid any contact with each other.  Aside from a group picture, where the two were standing apart, the two didn’t talk either.  Angelababy and her husband, Huang Xiaoming (黃曉明), were also at the event.  Luckily, Angelababy was standing near the two backstage, making it less awkward for each other.  Yang Mi was chatting it up with Angelababy, while Tang Yan was slowly walking away from the other two. 

How did their rift start?
It all started three years ago when the two were vying for a role in the international movie “Bounty Hunters” with Korean actor, Lee Min Ho.  In the end, Tang Yan won the role.  Later on, the two were fighting for another role in the movie “Chronicles of the Ghostly Tribe.”  The director ultimately selected Tang Yan for the role. 

Starting from last year, it was rumored that Yang Mi’s favorability with the public was decreasing.  It was rumored both actresses’ teams were fighting  for them to climb to the first spot of the Hot Topic List on Weibo.  It was said Yang Mi’s work studio was upset at some anti-fans badmouthing their boss.  Yang Mi’s fans were sure it was Tang Yan who was bothering their idol. 

Later on, a staff member from Tang Yan’s work studio reposted an essay on Weibo that was criticizing Yang Mi’s acting.  This staff member claims his/her account was hacked, but no one really believed it.  From then on, it was said Tang Yan and Yang Mi’s relationship started to crumble and no longer contacted each other. 

Looks like Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀) wasn’t that electrified by Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) as it has been reported the actor is dating a flight attendant and internet celebrity named Joann Law.  It is said the two have been dating for about a year, but the two have been very private about their relationship.  There hasn’t been any pictures of them together on social media.  However, their relationship was exposed due to Kelvin Kwan’s love of photography.  Joann Law had uploaded a picture of her holding his camera, which is the same one found in his pictures as identified by the camera strap.  It turns out the two were vacationing in Japan.

Oriental Daily reached out to Kelvin Kwan to confirm the news.  He said he feels he has matured and wants to handle his love life privately.  Because Joann Law is not in the business, he doesn’t want to impact her lifestyle.  When asked if the two were dating, Kelvin Kwan says, “We are in the stages of getting to know each other.” 

Joann Law’s Instagram account is now private, but Oriental Daily was quick enough to grab some of her old photos.  It seems she had some work done comparing her old photos from her modeling days to now. 

It was a special Thanksgiving for Hong Kong celebrity couple Kevin Cheng and Grace Chan.

The newlyweds, who tied the knot in Bali three months ago, shared that they will be expecting a baby in 2019.

Chan, 27, wrote on Instagram Thursday (Nov 22): "Thanksgiving is about celebrating and being grateful for all that we have.

"So on this special occasion, my husband and I are excited to share one of the biggest gifts that God has blessed us with... We're having a BABY!

"Though we have so much to learn about being parents, we promise to do our very best to take care of the newest addition to our family!"

Cheng, 49, also posted a similar message on Instagram in Chinese.

The couple did not give further details on the pregnancy or when the baby is due, but their 22-year age gap may have spurred their decision to have a baby as soon as possible.
