Under the questioning by Dee, Nicholas leaks out accidentally that he will usually call Faye as "Fei (阿菲)", appearing embarrassed and smiling bashfully after that. Hence, Dee continues to strike the iron while it is hot and asks him: "Anybody kisses you this week?" He nods and Dee looks at him with envy expression.

Using the words 'my little cutie pie' to address her youngest daughter, there were close to 6,000 people who commented on her entry. Faye ended off with 'See you tomorrow!' as a reference to her concert tonight. She seems very confident in making her return to the stage.

Tonight's concert will be split into five parts: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and 'Rebirth'. To accompany the five different themes, images of butterflies, blowing leaves, falling snow, ice villages and stars will be used to serve as the backdrop for the changing seasons. The highlight will be when Faye sings 'Sky'. She will be sitting on a swing high above the stage as she is flown across. There will also 3D technology in use at the concert. A sequence of winged horses will fly through the air as a single one 'lands' on her shoulder.

It has been five years since Faye Wong held a concert, so she definitely has to hold her Faye Wong 2010 Tour in Bejing and Shanghai for 10 nights. Yesterday the concert poster gets its first exposure, the organizers announced the ticket prices as well. Although the most expensive ticket was $2,500 yuan, the Beijing Railway Station was already packed with enthusiastic fans for the ticket pre-sales 10 minutes after the announcement!

Faye is making her comeback in October this year, having a 10 show concert in Beijing and Shanghai. In Beijing, the concert runs from October 29th - 31st, November 5th-6th and in Shanghai from November 19th-20th and 26th-28th. Yesterday the organizers announced the ticket prices. $2,500 yuan is the most expensive, the most inexpensive being $300 yuan. There are also 4 types of tickets, pricing at $500 yuan, $1000 yuan, $1500 yuan and $2000 yuan.

Yesterday the concert poster was officially released. Faye appears wearing a unique hundred year eagle feathered yellow hat, accompanied by a red cape, which completely matches her elegant image. The designer Titi Kwan expressed that the costume was inspired by famous Chinese painter, Qi Baishi's morning glory. As the concert poster style is simple, direct and gorgeous, which is Faye's image for the past many years. Although the poster is unique, Faye does not hope that everyone will place their attention on the stage designs or other styles. She said: "I feel that we need to distinguish what's the main focus. Music is the primary focus, not the designs. The stage design of course is very attractive, but shouldn't be so fancy! I hope to just hold a 1 or 2 night show, not necessary for earning money, but a simple concert in a small venue. We are all just here to listen to the music, definitely don't have to spend time on so many other things, don't even need the make-up!" This time for her concert, whether it's the songs, dances or stage design, Faye participated in it. She reveals that cannot leave out any of the classic songs, such as "If Only Life Is Long" (但願人長久)、"Red Bean" (紅豆), "I Do" (我願意) as well as the new songs like "Legend" (傳奇).

Money no enough for Faye Wong?

After news of the diva's imminent return to showbiz broke, Faye's financial portfolio has also been the subject of public scrutiny.

It was estimated that the diva would be raking in close to RMB 100m (S$20m) at the end of the year.

According to reports from Hong Kong, even that huge income is not stopping Faye from planning an investment in an online gaming title to be released in China. The founder of alibaba.com, one of China's leading online portals, is also rumoured to be helping Faye in her investment.

According to an insider's source, while Faye is a shareholder for the investment, she will not be dabbling in the actual workflow and execution of the project.

Responding to the reports, Faye's manager said that investments are Faye's personal issues so she cannot reveal anything.

However, the manager said that Faye did not mention anything about investing in an online game to her.

It was also reported that there were plans to invite Nicholas Tse as the spokesperson for the game. However, Nicholas' managing company clarified that he is only taking on a drama that is adapted from a different game title.

If confirmed, this would be the first time the two old flames would be working together since their breakup.

Rumoured to be making her comeback in October, news of Faye Wong's upcoming concerts seemed to have died down in recent days. However, yesterday a huge rumour began circulating online that Faye will begin her series of concerts on October 22nd for a 5-consecutive day run at the Beijing Wukesong Culture and Sports Centre. As of yesterday there was already one website taking pre-orders for tickets. As the rumours spread like wildfire online, many fans left messages on the website to pre-order tickets. However, Faye's manager Katie Chan has stepped forward to clarify the situation. She warned fans to be careful about being cheated.

Almost five years since she last stepped on stage, many of her loyal fans have been eagerly anticipating her comeback. Earlier there were rumours that her concert tickets would reach prices of 2000 RMB (almost $300 USD), but that has not deterred fans from wanting to see their idol in concert. However, it seems the enthusiasm for tickets have lowered slightly in recent days. Yesterday there was a website claiming to help fans pre-order tickets for her Beijing show. They even suggested her concert will begin on October 22nd. As for her Shanghai concert, they speculated it will be sometime in November at the Pudong Performance Center.

Through online discussion boards, many fans were debating the authenticity of the news. There were fans who left messages requesting to reserve tickets. However, when reporters tried to reserve tickets online, there was nothing to indicate the site was authentic, as ticket prices were not even listed. It only allowed users to leave their contact information so they can be kept updated with the latest news.

Reporters then questioned Faye's manager Katie Chan. As all the details have not been confirmed yet, she stressed that it would be impossible for tickets to be on sale at this time. So far it is only speculation that the concert will start on the 22nd. The organizers have yet to confirmed the dates. Until they hold an official press conference, everything will remain as hearsay. Katie Chan hopes that Faye fans can wait another month. She expressed there will be an official press conference next month and all the details will be released. As for rumours of Faye releasing a new album in July? Katie says, "Faye will not be releasing an album. She will only be sharing her own songs, as well as some of her favourites with her fans at the concert."

When former "Queen of Pop" Faye Wong makes her official comeback this Saturday, she will take no companions. With beautiful creatures of nature surrounding her, she will sing alone in a tranquil universe.

That will be the special stage effect for Wong's performance at the 2010 Spring Festival Gala, which will be aired live on China Central Television Saturday night, the Chinese New Year's Eve.

Wong, who was absent from previous rehearsals, triggered buzz when she appeared for the final rehearsal.

Unlike other performers, Wong took the entire stage on her own, singing a tune with a huge LED screen in the background projecting scenes of nature.

"Blinking stars on the screen [...] transform the studio into a vast universe," a report on Sina.com.cn said.

Saturday's performance will be Faye Wong's stage comeback after years of hiatus.

After the CCTV gala, Wong will launch a national tour. Dates for the shows are yet to be announced.

Faye Wong's fame was almost unrivaled in her heyday. She is named in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling Canto-pop female of all time.

In recent years, Wong has been barely seen in the music scene. However, she is still active with her charity work. In 2006, she and her actor husband Li Yapeng founded the Smile Angel Foundation to help children born with cleft palates.
