Last year, Lawrence Ng(吳啟華) announced his divorce with his 29 years old wife, Shek Yeung Chi(石洋子) who was 21 years his junior. Since the divorce, Lawrence has been separated from his 6-years old daughter. Becoming a divorcee for the second time, the 50 years old Lawrence was seen spending his birthday at a casino in Macau.

With over $10,000 gambling chips, Lawrence settled for baccarat with a minimum of $1000 per game. After winning several games, his luck turned on him and he began to lose. In a previous interview, Lawrence admitted to growing up in a gambling family. However, the plan backfired because Charmaine declined to film the drama due to the lack of experienced actors in the cast. For now, the role of Empress Lu is given to Tavia Yeung(楊怡).


Last month, Charmaine received a call from TVB about filming "Empress Lu(吕后傳奇)" in March but the cast remained the same. Even though Raymond's popularity is steadily rising, he still has not won the TVB King award yet. With such a weak cast, TVB decided to replace Steven's role with Ron Ng(吳卓羲). However, Charmaine still wasn't satisfied with the cast and declined the drama altogether. Producer Lee Tim-Sing(李添胜) originally wanted to ask Myolie Wu(胡杏兒) to take over role of Empress Lu but with her contract with TVB about to end, Tavia Yeung(楊怡) was asked to take over the main role of Empress Lu.

Besides the weak cast in this new TVB drama series, Charmaine was also concerned about producer Lee Tim-Sing's drama series won't be popular. In recent years, all his drama series were either on hold or only received average ratings.

TVB actress Selena Li(李詩韻) announced today that she is changing her Chinese stage name from 'Li Sze Wan(李詩韻)' to 'Li Sze Wah(李施嬅)'. It is very common for artistes to change their names because of Feng Shui belief. However, the reason behind Selena's name change was to commemorate the passing of her grandma. The name 'Li Sze Wah(李施嬅)' was her birth name.

On her blog, she wrote, “I have decided to change my name back to 'Li Sze Wah' in 2015. This name was given to me by my dear grandma. When I started my entertainment career, my family decided to change it to 'Li Sze Wan' because it sounded more elegant. But my grandma had been calling me 'Sze Wah' all these times. With her passing away, I am feeling nostalgic for the name 'Sze Wah' because it feels more intimate to me. I hope everyone can call me 'Li Sze Wah' from now on. What do you think of my name? Thank you for everyone's support.”

Queenie Chu(朱慧敏) and her boyfriend Eddie Pang(彭懷安) were seen attending the premiere to a Chinese New Year film titled "An Inspect(浮華宴)". The two have been rumored to get married within the year. It is said Queenie Chu even paid a visit to a gynecologist for pregnancy diagnosis.

Kevin Cheng(鄭嘉穎) and Alex Lam(林子善) were filming outdoor scenes at Shek Kip Mei for TVB's upcoming drama series "Zombie. The two were shooting a "wrestle" scene using chopsticks at a dai pai dong. They both tried to give each other the chicken head but the head ended up flying over their heads and dropped to the ground three feet away from them. Kevin couldn't stop laughing afterward.

When mentioned if Kevin Cheng needs to let his girlfriend knows about all the imitate scenes in the drama series, he said he's not taken and was already dumped by the girl from the night club after the news broke out: "Don't scare her away anymore! (Is it already over?) You guys don't need to worry about it! She's not in the entertainment field and it's hard for her to handle all the pressure from the press. TVB's new drama series "Raising The Bar(四個女仔三個BAR)" has been a hit since day one. Besides the beautiful Grace Chan(陳凱琳), Jeannie Chan(陳瀅), Stephanie Ho(何雁詩), and Moon Lau(劉佩玥) in the show, the other cast members are also getting attention from netizens. One of them plays the role of Louis Cheung(張繼聰)'s girlfriend in the show named Snow Suen(孫慧雪).

Goddess Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) ditched rumored boyfriend Philip Ng (伍允龍) and appeared by herself without makeup at Central. Wearing thick-framed eyeglasses and sporting a braided hairstyle, Linda BB who was carrying a backpack, was dressed up like a school girl. The beautiful 37 years old Kay Tse(謝安琪)'s popularity has been on the rise especially among males. Recently, she accepted to film for an upcoming TVB drama series "Zombie(殭)" with TVB King Kevin Cheng(鄭嘉穎). This coming April, they will be flying to Netherlands to film outdoor scenes.

Last Friday, the crew was seen filming at Sai Wan's mortuary for outdoor scenes. Since Kay couldn't stand wearing TVB's stinky second-hand costumes, she brought in her own clothes for filming. Kay even used her own money to hire her own personal assistant, makeup artist and hair dresser.

When the director stopped filming, Kay's personal assistant, makeup artist and hair dresser would immediately rush to her while Kevin stood aside without any assistance. To improve her acting skills, she trained for 2 months to get ready for the action scenes and hired Louis's acting classmate for help.

In the drama, Kay is a forensic doctor and also a vampire. Eventually, Kay and Kevin will fall in love but Kevin's character is an undead as well as a vampire hunter. At the end, they will fight together against the final villain, Joel Chan(陳山聰).

Popular new singer Fred Cheng(鄭俊弘) and Jinny Ng(吳若希) were involved in a rumor after they were seen walking their dogs together earlier this year. Many thought they would develop into something more serious with their compatible looks. However, Jinny was later rumored to be in a relationship with the 57 years old businessman Jason Wong(王弼燮). Last night, Fred was seen hanging our with bunch of old friends at Sai Wan. He was especially friendly with a blonde girl and they were seen hugging each other before they ended their night.

Last night at around 7pm, Fred took a cab from his resident in North Point to Sai wan. After he got off, he walked to a nearby hot pot restaurant and met up with his seven friends. 2012 Miss Hong Kong 1st place runner up Jacqueline Wong(黃心穎) has been busy filming TVB's upcoming drama series "With or Without You(東坡家事)" with Vincent Wong(王浩信), Bobby Au-Yeung(歐陽震華), and Joey Meng(萬綺雯) in Shanghai and Wuxi. Although Vincent already has a wife named Yoyo Chen(陳自瑤), it is rumored he's been spending a lot of time with Jacqueline together. They were seen sightseeing and trying out different restaurants in China.

Jacqueline accepted a phone interview from a reporter and expressed helplessness, she said: "I think all the rumors are to hype up the drama series. Heavily promoted TVB artiste Jinny Ng(吳若希) will make her acting debut in an upcoming Chinese New Year drama series "My Spiritual Ex-Lover(倩女喜相逢)". Right after her debut drama finished airing, she will appear in another drama series titled "Young Charioteers(衝線)".

She was asked if audience will get tired of her after back-to-back drama series, she replied: "No way. One is a period comedy drama and another one is a modern romance drama. I will only appear in two dramas altogether." Besides acting in drama series and singing, Jinny also said she hopes to be a host for a variety program in the future.

Loving couple, Jason Chan (陳智燊) and Sarah Song (宋熙年) in entertainment industry attended the welcoming New Year event in shopping mall together and when asked if their fees was higher when invited as a couple, Jason replied he was unaware of the exact fees and felt elated that the organiser invited them as a couple.

Sarah expressed that her boyfriend might be frustrated while performing as she was a muddle-headed person. But fortunately, he was warm and gentle to her.

When asked if they will take the opportunity to look for wedding sponsors after the announcement of their relationship, Jason replied that he will inform everybody once there was any big plans. Asked how they will celebrate Valentine's Day, Sarah replied that will be attending Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) and Leanne Li's (李亞男) wedding while Jason said with a laugh: "Too bad we cannot celebrate together." Jason added that he needed to working before and after Lunar New Year and will be returning to England to visit his grandmother in February. Jason might be celebrating Valentine's Day in advance and preparing a present as well, while Sarah aimed to save money and buy property.

Sarah also praised her boyfriend was good at creating surprises and said: "Few years ago, I tell him what I want and he gives it to me on a special occasion. This reminds me of the present that I want few years ago." Asked when they will get married, Jason replied that they intended to take it slowly and focus on their career first.

TVB artiste Eliza Sam(岑麗香) was at a promotional event for a restaurant chain and she showed off her culinary skills at a live demonstration. She claimed she's not good at cooking but she understand the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Even though she doesn't have a boyfriend at the moment, she said she's slowly learning how to cook. With Valentine's day approaching, she said she won't be lonely. That's because she's going to be a bridesmaid for her good friend Leanne Li(李亞男). In regards to Myolie Wu(胡杏兒) is in a relationship, she said she's happy for her.
