Lately the artist poaching trend in the TV industry has left TVB actively recruiting artists to join them, including Joey Meng. It was said for a successful attempt to convince Joey to sign with them, TVB especially asked Roger Kwok to partner up with her. Aside from taking the lead actress role, it will allow her to make a breakthrough in her acting. This will be her first time participating in a comedy series.

Back then, Joey Meng became popular after ATV series My Date with a Vampire. Her role 'Ma Siu Ling' revealed her 42-inch long legs became a classic. As she has audience fate, and the acting ability, it was said for many years TVB had been consistently trying to recruit her, but was unsuccessful. It was only until recently, it was understood that TVB executive Virgina Lok personally stepped up taking a confirmed series to Joey and offered her a lead role. A staff revealed that this series is a lighthearted comedy tentatively entitled Cousin, You Are Good, which is also a series that Wong Cho Lam participated in on the production. The series caught Joey's interest because she had never formally done a comedy before, and the story revolves around hot topics in Hong Kong, including pairs of non-pregnant women.

Sonija Kwok, Kent Cheng, Sunny Chan, Claire Yiu and the rest of the cast to TVB series The Greatness of a Hero attended the promotional event. The two pregnant mothers Sonija and Claire received special treatment by TVB having chairs nearby for them to rest. Sonija is already 7 months pregnant, but still stepped on stage with 2-inch heels and had a stronger desire to look pretty than Claire, who was just 1 month behind Sonija in her pregnancy (~6months pregnant).

It was seen Sonija's belly was not as big as Claire's, Sonija reveals her baby is a little slim: "I always think I'm fat because I gained 30 pounds. The other day when I went for my pregnancy checkup, the doctor said the baby's little belly is on the slim side, and told me to eat more nutritious powdered milk. Well I want my baby slim too, and can't accept myself being fat." She said currently her appetite hasn't changed, and she didn't really stop eating certain foods. She still eats raw/cold foods as usual, like ice cream. When asked why her family didn't stop her? Sonija laughed: "Because my husband and mother can't stop me, so I hide in the kitchen to eat! But, I stopped eating sashimi. The doctor said that's very dangerous." Claire is carrying a baby boy and is expected to due late July. She said she currently gained over 10 pounds and isn't sure if its because its her second child that her belly is growing faster. As her husband is in Mainland working, her daughter Kyra, nearly 3 years old, is often kissing her belly on her father's behalf and talks to her little brother. She looks forward to seeing her little brother born. Claire expressed she hopes for a natural birth.

When speaking of TVB Virgina Lok suspecting that Shirley Yeung has postpartum depression, Sonija urged the public to give her some space. As for herself, she's in a joyous mood and is awaiting to welcome her baby into this world. Claire said single mothers are greatly pressured and suggested that Shirley talk to friends more: "Facing such a cute baby, should think of the brighter side."

Also, Kent is not upset that The Greatness of Hero is broadcasting 3 years later. Kent expressed the series was scheduled to release 3 times before, but eventually got taken out. Asked if its because there's a problem with TVB's policies? He said he's unsure, but he heard after a major producer saw the series, he/she went to shoot another palace fighting series and so Greatness was pushed back again until this Easter. Based on Kent's description, it is suspected that the 'big producer' he referred to was former TVB producer Miu Siu Ching, who was shooting Beyond the Realm of Conscience (2009) at the time.

Kent said although the public believes this period is the 'ashes', he actually believes Easter is a good time. He believes as long as audience acknowledge the series, the efforts put into production will not be wasted. He anticipates for good results, good ratings and is personally going to strongly aid in promotions. The other male lead, Wayne Lai is currently in Hengdian shooting and wasn't able to make it back for the promotion. Earlier it was rumored the two are on bad terms? Kent reiterates that he has been surviving in showbiz for 34 years already, and has been practical towards his work all along, so these gossips must not mess with him.

In the recent year, microblogging has replaced blogging and has become the place to hang out for artists from all over HK, Mainland and Taiwan. However, recently there has been a lot of Netizens spreading political rumors and verbal abuse has happened incessantly, which led to a concern within society. This is also an important task for Weibo Management. The two largest microblogging networks Sina Weibo and Tencent Weibo saw this problem, therefore yesterday the two Weibo sites sent out an announcement without prior agreement. The announcement stated with regards to the recent Weibo comments having too many rumors and other illegal messages, creating an unhealthy impact on society. As a centralized process, Weibo/Tencent has decided to temporarily suspend the comment function on Weibo starting from March 31st @ 8am to April 3rd @ 8am.

When 'Comment Giant' Anthony Wong learned Weibo suspended the comment function, he shouted that it's a good thing: "This is a good decision. I already decided to play with it for a year or so, then delete and leave. I just want to share my views with friends, and not with people who want to cause trouble!" He said two months ago, he talked about the election on Weibo, and wrote: "The type of people makes up the type of policies." Some people in Mainland strongly expressed their disapproval. He said: "They thought I was talking about Mainland, and just by that it got all exaggerated. Another time, I wrote I supported spoofs, and out of the blue people said I was against Vincent Zhao. Please go watch the News Magazine, that episode was about the spoofing culture, this is called verbal abuse, it's a mob of people!"

Anthony concluded with three points of perspective: "First, there is some group of people with Schizophrenia, jealous that Hong Kong people going up North to make money; Second, it is them that think they are high class people, living in a high place of virtue, like a sniper controlling others' lives and continuously stirring up disputes. The best they can do is boycott you and your movies; Third, its life threatening too, telling people to be careful, but in fact they are the ones who are the weaklings with no power, but likes to pretend to be Gods." Anthony also stressed he won't be defeated: "As you all should go understand my meaning before going to delete my Weibo, I will find a new way to communicate with my Weibo friends."

Faye Wong caught unprepared

As for Faye Wong, who is also a Weibo addict, was surprised and didn't know about the suspension. Usually she gets over 1,000 comments, but yesterday there was none. At 8am, she said: "I didn't not allow comments, what's the situation? Am I being sensitive?" Later when she learned about the comment suspension, Faye suddenly realized: "Rumors led to comment suspension, haha, well said!"

Joey: No good to harm people

Joey Yung hopes Weibo can have the function to confirm who the person is, because she doesn't want worthless attacks by fictitious people: "Weibo is a place to draw in human relationships, but now it has turned into a place that harms people. That is really not too good, but the majority of the people are friendly!" Charlene Choi admitted Weibo has taken an important role in her life, she said: "I have encountered extreme comments before, and felt unhappy, I hope people can mutually respect each other!" Gillian Chung also shared her unhappy experiences on Weibo, but reminded herself that she needs to control her emotions, and not strike back.

Yesterday TVB FaDan Kate Tsui attended the promotional event for animated film Mission Incredible: Adventures on the Dragon's Trail. This is already Kate's third time dubbing for this film series. She smiled and said every time she receives her payment, she feels very happy, but does not dare to ask for a higher price: "Earlier I was dubbing with Michael Tse, but this year I'm doing it without him, so perhaps he's too popular and too much of a raise was given! So, as long as I can keep dubbing, that's good enough for me." Also, she reveals she will give everyone a surprise when she pairs up with King Kong in a new film.

Itadani even donated his work HONG KONG for a charity auction. Yun Yi revealed that she will work on a Hong Kong comedy and make an appearance that no one has ever seen.

She happily said, "This character is similar to me and I have always wanted to play the character. Niki Chow and Michael Tse's new TVB series produced by Nelson Cheung Sergeant Tabloid will not be broadcasting in Hong Kong, but is releasing overseas instead. Yesterday, there was news online that a Mainland website (PPS) will exclusively air the series on April 3rd, while Malaysia's Astro On Demand and Australia's TVBJ will air on April 2nd. It looks like Sergeant Tabloid is a pretty high quality series since TVB and overseas clients are all confident and brave enough to first do an overseas release.

This is not the first time TVB series are released earlier than HK. On Monday (4/2), HK will be airing TV King Wayne Lai and Film King Kent Cheng's 2009 produced series The Greatness of a Hero. Earlier Alex Fong and Kate Tsui's A Great Way to Care was also an overseas release before its premiere in HK. This proves TVB really does value the overseas market, scheduling new series to release faster than in HK locally.

Producer Nelson Cheung expressed: "This is TVB's arrangements. The Greatness of a Hero was also released overseas first, perhaps the overseas needs a series to fill in the time slot, so Sergeant Tabloid gets to air first. Audience overseas also have their expectations on TVB series, and TVB believes its a suitable series to air. It's not just some random series chosen to be released overseas. We already told Niki Chow and Michael Tse about this, they both asked when the series will air in HK, but that will have to be left for TVB to make further arrangements." Nelson is not worried that Sergeant Tabloid will end up being a production stuck in the bottom of the production stock, the most important is to look at if the series itself has quality. He is also not worried this will affect the ratings in the future.

Niki appreciates the overseas clients for choosing her series, that she just completed, fresh out of the oven. She heard that the overseas clients are very interested in the production and hopes to enjoy the series earlier: "I'm happy to get chosen, and I'm not afraid it will affect the HK ratings when it airs in the future. This is not the first series that was warehoused. Actually it's different watching online verses on television and also there are some differences in the two versions of the series. We should not be too worried. As an artist, I have confidence in the arrangements TVB makes, it may be possible that the series will air in HK during the summer. I personally really look forward to it because I can put down a lot of what's on my mind. I asked my police friends a lot to gain more knowledge on the role and really done my homework."

Michael is also confident and not disappointed. He happily said: "It's better than the series being on the bottom of the production stock! Of course I'm just kidding. As an artist, of course I hope my series gets broadcast as soon as possible, but not need to be upset with TVB. The most important is to have good public response, no need to worry about the future TV ratings."

Shirley Yeung was 2001's Miss Hong Kong, yesterday TVB hosted the Miss Hong Kong 2012 Recruit promotional event and Virgina Lok invited her to attend as well, but she turned down the offer because she was sick. Virgina had always given her full support to Shirley ever since the news broke out that Shirley was an unmarried mother. When Shirley brought her daughter with her back to HK, Virgina made a special early trip to the airport to pick her up and assisted her in handling the media. Several days after Shirley's return to HK, she had been avoiding reporters and even avoided her manager. Yesterday when Virgina mentioned Shirley's current situation, she was very worried and hoped she can get back up and face the problem, then get back to work.

Shirley has been suffering from the flu for 8 days now, Virgina invited her out for breakfast once, but she didn't go. She said she talked to Shirley over the phone, and believed she's feeling emotional, upset and may perhaps have postpartum depression. Initially, Virgina wanted to meet with her as soon as possible, so her problems could be resolved, and also discuss of her upcoming work schedule, but because of her flu, Shirley has not been back at TVB. After Virgina found out about Shirley's situation, she suggested that she go see the doctor, but she only responded that she can do that.

Virgina frankly said she is worried about Shirley, "Initially I told her to attend the event today, so she can come and out and see everyone, but she's so sick she can't get up However, her voice wasn't hoarse over the phone, I just feel she has some depression, postpartum depression and should see the doctor." Her parents are currently helping her look after baby Krystal and whenever Shirley's manager has documents for her, her father would be the one accepting them on her behalf. She is still emotionally down and aside from advising Shirley to see the doctor, Virgina hopes she can get back up again and get back into work, distracting herself from the emotions is the best treatment. Virgina continued: "Shirley doesn't want to see anyone. when I invited her out for breakfast, she couldn't even do that. I do feel a little frustrated seeing her like this, but at the same time I feel she's very miserable. There are somethings we must discuss and resolve. I'm not close with her mother either, so it's difficult to handle."

As Shirley is currently news worthy and draws attention, she has been invited to take part in shopping mall events as well as stage performances. Virgina said jobs are under discussion, but as of now, she will have to see what Shirley's condition is. Up until today, no contract has been signed. Virgina is worried that Shirley may be unstable and that she may need to compensate for the losses, so all along no jobs have been confirmed for her. The highest possible first job after Shirley's pregnancy is a shopping mall promotional event, the 'comeback' is also especially meaningful to her.

After Shirley had her daughter, she decided to go back to HK and get back to work, hoping for to achieve something. That's probably why she decided to announce the good news about her daughter and even shared a photo with the public. However, due to the earlier incident where she first broke up with long time boyfriend Gregory Lee, hooked up with new love interest Andy Ng and then denying that she was pregnant, her reputation turned negative since then. To Shirley, a comeback must be a great impacton her. The other day, it was rumored when Shirley and Andy were together, Andy had another girlfriend in Mainland, and said that Shirley's mother often urged Shirley to buy a home with Andy. The negative rumors indeed has been troubling Shirley. Since she posted a photo of her and her baby on Weibo after returning to HK, Shirley started isolating herself and didn't post again.

Last night Norman Leung hosted a celebration dinner for the cast and crew of TVB series The Hippocratic Crush and announced that there will be a sequel. Lead actor and actress Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung are currently busy shooting for pre-modern series Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles and attended in their costumes.

Kenneth Ma has been accepting series after series, but he modestly said it's not much of a harvest. It is all thanks to THC's high ratings that he got more public event job opportunities and is another source of income. He hopes to save enough money to get a bigger house. When reporters teased him asking if he needs a 'golden house to keep a mistress'? Kenneth jokingly said: "If I'm rich, I don't mind. I want a bigger house, enough for 7 people to live in. This is for the convenience of my sister bringing her two children to visit us, and have more room to move around." Kenneth also believed that home investment is far more practical and valued than having famous cars or watches.

Earlier Lawrence Ng publicly praised Kenneth's good acting. Kenneth thanked 'Ching Ji Mei' (Lawrence's role in Healing Hands) for his appreciation. "I thought he didn't watch. Actually Healing Hands's Dr. Ching Ji Mei is an icon. This time, our doctor roles are more on the greater scale, different from their type." Kevin Cheng also praised that he has hope for the TV King title this year. Kenneth was very grateful: "Have to really thank this big brother, he loves me a lot too. Often times, he gives me advice on what to wear and the way I dress. He also told me he'll take me along to develop in Mainland." When speaking of him lacking a female companion to dress him up? Kenneth claimed that Tavia should take him out for clothes shopping because there will be a discount. He laughed and said this is what Tavia suggested, so he's not worried to be called the 'light bulb' between Tavia and Him Law.

Tavia teased Kenneth's outfit that he looks like a waiter and told him to put on a suit jacket: "Today, he initially came here without the suit jacket. It was only when I said he's always looking like a waiter, that he put that jacket on." Tavia continued to tease her partner: "He has everything, he has a house, he has the acting, but he just doesn't have any taste in fashion. He really needs to change his image, in order to reach the a higher level. Although I don't really have much knowledge on fashion myself, but as a friend I'm not trying to bash him, just giving advice and trying to help him. He is happy to accept any advice, just not many people tell him. (But he has no girl?) Leave it to fate." Tavia also said she doesn't mind taking Kenneth out to shop for clothes, just as long as time allows her to do so.

TVB rising FaDan Mandy Wong played 'Mei Suet' in The Hippocratic Crush following her popular role 'Kwan Yee So' in L'Escargot and has been on the popularity rise since. TVB is heavily promoting her, as she is casted in series after series, next month she'll be starting on new series A Chip off the Old Block II and will 'continue fate' with Him Law. In the series she plays a renovation worker girl, and to gain deeper knowledge in the role, Mandy especially took out some time before filming starts to learn how to remodel homes from her relative, who actually works as a renovation worker in real life. As Mandy does not have any knowledge on renovation, she will have to start from the very beginning and work her way up.

On her first 'lesson', Mandy learned how to walk the wooden ladder. Her relative took the lead and demonstrated for her first. She saw her relative clamping his two legs to the ladder, and walked while sitting on the ladder with ease. During the time, he was even walking with he ladder as he painted the walls, looking very relaxed. Mandy misunderstood and thought it was a piece of cake, and before she knew it, she was injured instantly when it was her turn. Mandy appeared having a very difficult time walking the ladder, and called for help from her relative: "Why can't I move it?" Her relative saw her struggling and went forward to attentively explain to her how it works. He taught her the tricks to holding the ladder with her legs and walking with it.

After all the hard work, Mandy barely took a step while sitting on the ladder. Although she only made little progress, she was still very happy. Then Mandy just took the ladder home with her and will be moving around with the ladder at home every day. She laughed: "It looks easy, but in reality it's so difficult, so I practiced for several days. My thighs are all sore, but that's ok! How will there be any achievements if there are no effort put into it! I'll just treat this as homework, must accomplish it. No matter what difficulty I encounter, I must overcome!"

Yesterday Ada Choi, Sheren Tang, Christine Ng, Moses Chan, Kenny Wong, Christine Kuo and Alice Chan appeared at the blessing ceremony for TVB new series Beauty At War (WABII) in Tseung Kwan O. Ada's daughter is already 10 months old, and is starting to learn walking. Watching her daughter grow, Ada feels blessed and excited, but because she's busy shooting WABII, she doesn't have time to take care of her daughter. She said: "Earlier when I was shooting 4 months for a series, it was so painful because I wouldn't get the script until the night before, I get so nervous and when I get home I go straight to study the script. When my daughter crawls over and gives me a hug on the legs, I had to neglect her because I was just too busy memorizing the script."

Ada was asked if she would ask the producer to release the script earlier? She: "No choice, smart scriptwriters are like that. I'm used to it after so many years of collaboration with Ah Chik (Producer Jonathan Chik) and [Chow] Yuk Ming. I personally just want to have enough sleep, so I have energy and better memory." Ada plays a nanny in the series, when asked if she'll have to put in a fake breasts for the shoot? She said: "Not necessary. I'm an expired nanny, just responsible for telling people to go feed milk."

Yesterday Moses was 40 minutes late, making everyone wait for him before they could begin the blessing ceremony. He said: "I totally forgot it was the blessing ceremony today. I'm in for it this time, I will make more cups of coffee and treat everyone to a meal as my apology." Recently, Moses has been off the fatty foods and has lost 20 pounds. He expressed he hopes to visit girlfriend Aimee Chan on the set in Hengdian.

Christine Ng frankly said she's collaborating with a lot of strong artists this time and feels very pressured. When asked if she NGs a lot during the shoot? She joked: "My surname is NG, so no one can blame me if I NG. Actually we all communicated prior to shooting that if there are NGs, no one should feel displeased, so it's a very good atmosphere." Newcomer Yuang Cheung shaved his head for his small eunuch role, he said it feels fresh and cool.

Yesterday Mandy Wong and 'husband' Oscar Leung (Wai Wai) were guests for a men slimming center CM SQUARE's new store opening. Well-shaped Mandy does not mind gaining weight for her roles. Earlier when she was playing the 'Kwan Yee So' role, she deliberately went on an unrestrained diet. She will soon be playing a renovation worker in a new series (A Chip Off the Old Block II). She joked after she finishes studying the role, she is more than willing to help friends renovate their homes for half price!

Oscar will be shooting a new series at the end of next month, and will have to gain weight for the role. He has already gained 7-8 pounds, and especially wore a black leather jacket to cover his large belly: "Because I'm going to be the Emperor, who is chubbier when he is younger. It is when I shoot the death scene, I will have to get thinner, so I will take a several days to rapidly lose weight. (Can you physically handle that?) It's quite miserable, my digestive system will get all weird, like I'm not used to the bathroom times and also get pimples."

Within Aimee Chan's love dictionary, Moses Chan is defined as her exclusive 'best deal' (seun poon). Likewise, in Moses' dictionary, he equally hopes to be with Aimee forever. Moses claims he's a traditional man, and understands how wonderful it is when fate comes. He promises to give Aimee a status within 2 years.

(Moses speaks ...)

I won't compare the differences between my romances from the past and present. After all, a relationship must not be distinguished from right or wrong just by a few words. I will just look into the future and move forward. Whatever happened in the past, whether if its my career or love life, I really believe to just let it be since it's the past. However, I am honestly happier than before. I am very happy to be with Aimee. People say I'm the 'best deal', but in reality you all are just thinking too highly of me. I'm just like any other traditional man. I believe a man should be responsible for everything he does and should really take good care of his other half, giving his girlfriend someone to rely on and sense of security. These qualities are very important. I have my weaknesses too and I am still learning on how to be a good boyfriend because every individual will have a time where they make mistakes. It's just a matter of how much tolerance we have for each other.

Two Minds Interlinked

In my heart, Aimee is a very sweet girl. My first impression on her was very good, and also we have common interests. For example, I enjoy studying coffee and Aimee does too. Coffee is often a topic we talk about. Most important is our thoughts are the same, sometimes we don't have to explain and it seems like we already understand what the other is thinking. It's been less than a year since we started dating, but many people are even more rushed than we are, telling us to get marry soon. Aimee and I do indeed have consensus, we hope to take it slow with no pressure, and allow our relationship to get even better first. I know status is very important to a woman, but I will add oil! Actually I will give her status because the coffee shop that I opened with a friend in Malaysia closed, and I currently have plans to open another one in HK within 2 years. If I really can open a coffee shop in HK, I hope to make her the female boss and let her handle all the finances. This is currently my promise to her. As for myself, of course I will personally put more research into the coffee. Hopefully my dream comes true!

Relationship is 'brewing'

Many people know I like to drink coffee, and before when I traveled to different parts of the world to shoot the second season of my coffee program Coffee Confidential, I actually started to love the coffee that I brew even more. I learned a lot of the manufacturing processes. Whether a cup of coffee is good or bad, it is all made by me, even if it doesn't taste good, I suffer it myself. If I had to describe my relationship with Aimee through this process, the first image that comes to mind is "brewing", haha! Actually, I won't use coffee to describe her, I will never keep coffee that I brewed for more than two weeks because it will spoil, but my love will not change!

Refuses being an on-screen couple

There is another thing we both agreed that we don't want to do, that is to shoot a series as a couple. I talked to her about this, we both don't really want to see this happen. Honestly speaking, in the eyes of viewers, I don't think they want to see a real life couple be in a series. If we had to get intimate on screen, I would refuse because I want to keep work and personal life separate. If we mix work and personal life together, it's going to be hard to focus. I would have no confidence in my performance.

(Interview ends...)

As Moses' girlfriend, how does Aimee think of her 'showbiz's best deal' boyfriend? Aimee attended an event earlier and sweetly smiled: "He's a gentleman and very attentive. I feel very comfortable being with him!"

Since Aimee's parents both live in Canada, they have not had the chance to interview this future son-in-law, but a month ago, Aimee's brother came to Hong Kong and met with Moses. When asked of her brother's impression on his future brother-in-law? Aimee laughed: "My brother had dinner with Moses and toured HK. However, I have no details of his impression!" When speaking of Moses wanting to open a coffee shop in HK and make her his female boss, Aimee just smiled sweetly and did not comment.

Linda Chung is known as a frugal and hardworking artist. Lately, since she has finally paid off all her 'series debt' (break from filming), she quickly goes out to earn some extra income. Within these two months, she had four endorsements and has pocketed over HK$1 million. The other day, under the some 10 degree C temperatures, Linda was shooting a shower gel commercial for 6 figures. She just had a thin and short white dress on for the shoot and had to run away in the open field with a little girl. She conveyed a natural and healthy message.

Since it was Linda's first time meeting the little girl, she brought her candy and toys. Although Linda had to withstand the cold and please the little girl, she did not once ask for a break. However, the company arranged a personal makeup car for her to use. Then Linda was shooting a showering scene, where she showed off her shoulders and legs for 3 hours!

Linda claimed she's a fan of this brand, and this is the sexiest commercial that she has done since she debuted. Earlier, she especially looked after her body to display the most beautiful skin for the shoot. She said: "Recently, I've been doing a lot of aerobics. I went for several classes in the last two months and now I'm better spirited and feel healthier. I pay particular attention to showering, and the shower gel must let out a fresh scent. I rehearse my lines and sing in the shower!"

As she has been rapidly earning extra income and becoming a little queen of endorsements, Linda didn't deny: "I will shoot any commercial! Most important is to earn money! Although I already have a home, I hope to buy another one this year! (Buy a 'Gu Por' Home?) Haha! Of course a 'brick' is a stronger safeguard. I hope to earn enough to buy another home by the end of this year!"

When she was leaving, she was approached by the media for interviews. She did not avoid getting on the taxi to head over to a nearby luxury home near Ron's house, for the convenience of meeting her boyfriend. In addition, Michael Tse got super drunk at the party and the other guests had to carry him away.

Possessing a 36F super body figure, Mainland model Viann Zhang and boyfriend Ron Ng are currently in a stabled relationship. The other night, Ron was busy working on TVB new series Sliver Spoons, Sterling Shackles, while his girlfriend made a special trip to HK for Timmy and Janet Chow's wedding party. At 1:30am, Viann left the hotel and got on a taxi with a male friend. Although there was a large group of reporters, she didn't try to avoid them and continued heading towards King's Park Villa, not far from Parc Palais, where Ron resides. Looks like its for the convenience of meeting up with her boyfriend later that night.

Yesterday during an interview, Ron expressed he didn't mind Viann taking pictures with everyone at Timmy's party: "She just has a lot of friends, I know them too. Well, it is a happy event. (Did you warn her not to drink too much?) No, from what I know, she doesn't really like to drink. (Your not worried at all?) She's old enough and should know better." When asked about Viann and a male friend taking the taxi to King's Park Villia, near his residence, Ron explained for his girlfriend: "She was just going to a female friend's home. When she comes to HK, she usually stays with her. This time, she made a special trip back to attend the wedding. She'll be going back to Mainland early this morning. (When will she come back to see you again?) I'll let you know when she does!"

Also, at the party last night, there was a face off between the 13 groomsmen and the 28 bridesmaids. Results, Chin Kar Lok and Michael Tse couldn't bear all the drinking and became 'Drunken Groomsmen'. In the morning, when Michael was leaving, he was so drunk Oscar Leung and two other men had to carry him away. His wife, Tina was responsible for clearing up the path and helping Michael get into the 7-seater van.

Yesterday at 3pm, reporters contacted Michael, he frankly said he had a very good time last night: "I was only comfortable to drink a lot with my wife by my side. There were 800 guests, I knew half of them. I was drinking with 1/4 of the people there, you tell me what I would do?" Also, the whole night Chin Kar Lok was forced into marriage and while he nearly passed out, he kept nodding his head.

Timmy said: "I really don't understand why there are so many bridemaids, but it's a good thing for my groomsmen too. Tonight, some guests were busy and couldn't make it, like Nicholas Tse. The theme tonight is leopards, but in reality it's actually just 'playing us'. (Have you two Dung Fong yet?) After the wedding reception, we were exhausted and just went to sleep, but this type of thing does not need to be scheduled. It can happen any time. However, tonight we probably can't because we both have work tomorrow."

Timmy expressed he does not fear his guests will get him drunk, he said: "I'm already mentally prepared, ready for it. Michael Tong said he prepared 40 hangover pills for me. (Not afraid it'll turn into an aphrodisiac?) Nope, if it really does happen, then 40 of us will take it together, should be pretty enjoyable."

Janet found a passionate husband, and got emotional during the phone interview with the media. She said with tears and happiness: "After the wedding, Timmy was so exhausted he passed out. I haven't left the hotel room for over 40 hours sleeping. I chatted with my cousins all night too. (Any time to Dung Fong?) I heard a Dragon baby will have to happen before April, tonight we probably can't do it. I'm very happy that so many friends from outside of HK came to witness my wedding. I've been in this industry for 6 years, if I didn't have any friends, then there would be something wrong, I really have a lot of good sisters that I can speak my heart to."

The pair are rumoured to have started dating three months ago. Kevin met 30-year-old Annie on the set of Chinese drama Startling By Each Step (also known as Scarlet Heart), and took an interest in the latter, because she could speak fluent Cantonese. He later began to court her, and suspicions aroused when Annie, whose character was initially a minor one, was given more screen time.

Kevin went all out to court Annie, expressing his liking for her on this microblog with mushy comments. He would also get his assistant to prepare soup for Annie when he found out that she likes to eat light and simple food.

After a year of courtship, which included text messages and food, the actor's actions were said to have touched Annie, and the pair began dating there months ago.

"Kevin had no reservations complimenting Annie's beauty, and expressed that she is his ideal type," an insider let on. However, at an event two days ago, Annie denied the rumour, saying, "He's my 'Eighth Prince' in Startling By Each Step. We're very close when we work together, but we're not in a relationship. I like filial men. I will make it public, if I'm dating someone."

Yesterday Linda Chung, Steven Ma, Evergreen Mak, Cilla Kung, Ha Yu and producer Miu Siu Ching appeared at the Tseung Kwan O school to promote for new series Daddy Good Deeds. As Shirley Yeung's good friend, Linda expressed she has not seen Shirley for several months, but they have kept in touch on Whatsapp. Yesterday Shirley came back to HK, has Linda seen her yet? Linda said: "Find an opportunity to. As a single mother, it is really mighty to be able to raise a child on your own. I will wish them good health and live happily!" Steven expressed he hasn't had many collaborations with Shirley, but as an outsider, one woman having to raise a child herself requires a lot of courage, she is very brave.

Earlier it was rumored Mona Fong personally asked Steven to stay with TVB. Today, Mona has already resigned from her position, so does this mean it will be difficult for Steven to serve for TVB again? Steven said: "I already said TVB has discussed with me. Mona Fong asking me to stay is a rumor, I never personally heard her say that she wants me to stay. She gave me a very good impression, she's a good person. Currently there are many different TV stations that have approached me. In Hong Kong, as long as its reasonable and fair, my first choice is 'maternal home' TVB." Steven knows Mona switched from her Vice-Chairman position to Managing Director. It should be a good thing, and won't be too difficult for her. The cast also bid farewell to producer Miu Siu Ching, who is leaving TVB at the end of this month.

Last year, Shirley Yeung dumped long time boyfriend Gregory Lee for former HK diver Andy Ng and was accused of being a two timer. She was later spotted pregnant in Los Angeles and was rumored she married Andy. Since that incident, Shirley's reputation hit rock bottom. As Andy was no where to be seen while Shirley went into labor in the US, Shirley became a single-mother and must make a comeback to earn the 'milk money'. Yesterday, Shirley carried her newborn girl Krystal on a long several hour flight back to HK with her. However because Shirley didn't have the courage to meet the press with her daughter, she first left Krystal with her mother and then passed her to a friend before she stepped forward to meet the press.

Soon after, TVB executive Virgina Lok and four other staff members arrived at the airport to pick Shirley up. There were over 30 reporters swarming around at the scene. Covered in black and shades, Shirley clearly gained some weight. The airport staff helped her push a cart full of 5-6 luggage, but unfortunately during a turn around the corner, the luggage toppled over. It was an embarrassing site.

Later, Shirley personally confirmed she had her baby without being married and admitted that her daughter will take her last name, Yeung. However, when speaking of Andy Ng, Shirley's expression changed and she denied to answer. She said: "Hello everyone. Thank you all, I'm back today. Really thank the media, reporters, my family, TVB and Miss Lok for all the concern. I will take good care of my daughter and hope she will have a healthy growth."

Shirley frankly said during this period, her company TVB and friends have really helped her out, then she immediately cut the conversation off: "I won't talk about other things. (Where's your daughter?) She left already." Reporters pursued the questions and asked if Krystal's biological father is Andy Ng? Did she break up with him? Shirley did not answer, but Miss Lok spoke up to encourage her: "Just answer as much as you can." Shirley insisted: "I will not respond." It was said Andy was introduced by her mother. Shirley did not respond to that either and just smiled: "Thank you all. That's about all I need to say, I already said it on Weibo and at TVB. I will not respond to other matters. (Will you ever tell your daughter who her father is?) I will do my best to take good care of her. (What will happen if she asks you in the future?) Worry about that when she gets older." Asked if Krystal is already back in HK? Shirley admitted she already sent her baby girl off through a secret passage. She also expressed Krystal is too young now and can't handle all the camera flashes. When asked if her Krystal will take her last name? She said: "Krystal will go by my last name. (You broke up with the baby's father?) No comment. (Is he Andy Ng?) I'm not going to say. (Do you still keep in touch with Andy?) I'm not going to say. (Won't mention him again in the future?) I won't answer." Miss Lok, who was besides her, told Shirley to listen to her mother and don't be too stubborn. Shirley said she will listen to TVB. Now that she's back in HK, will she contact ex-boyfriend Gregory? She said: "Probably not."

Last night [Oriental Daily] contacted Shirley by phone, feeling unwell, Shirley said with a hoarse voice: "I got the flu. (Is Krystal not feeling well either?) Yeah, we didn't go see the doctor, just at home. (When will you make your comeback?) Take a little break first. Krystal is running a fever after she got back!"

Once Shirley got off her flight, she went to do a Scoop interview. She said her baby was 6.9lbs at birth and she and her mother are currently taking care of her. As a mother for the first time, Shirley expressed she is most nervous when she 'burps' her baby because if not done well, she will get sick. As for her future jobs, Shirley expressed TVB will arrange it. Although Shirley's image has been damaged, it was said her appearance money still remains high at HK$10,000 - HK$12,000.

Sharon Chan, known as the 'Sexy Legs Goddess', plays legend's most beautiful woman 'Ha Ying Chun' in TVB series Queens of Diamonds and Hearts. Sharon had always possessed a straightforward and tomboy personality, therefore its a challenge for her when she has to act gentle and soft on screen. It turns out she had to hypnotize herself to play the 'Ha Ying Chun' role, Sharon said: "Each time before I start working, I tell myself that I am the most beautiful woman in the world, often hypnotizing myself! That beauty is the type that makes men fall heads over heels. It is then when I can display confidence and get into character."

In the series, Sharon and Roger Kwok have a few intimate bathing scenes. They were filming in the winter, and although they used hot water, the filming was still quite difficult! She said: "For one scene, I had to be soaked in the water for 1-2 hours. Aside from almost fainting from the heat, the skin on my feet gets all wrinkled. I also have a lot of scenes where I have to show my legs, I hope [viewers] won't catch my wrinkled skin!"

Sharon won the 'Best Supporting Actress Award' for her role in Ghetto Justice, but this time she's in a comedy series. Both series have different challenges. She said: "Comparing the two series, I think the comedy series this time is much more challenging because comedies are harder to master. When I start working, I have to steal some tips from Roger." After becoming Best Supporting Actress, Sharon's tides rises as well: "After I got the award, many places asked me to do stage performances and I also got a pay raise too."
