After years of marriage discord and divorce rumors, Hawick Lau (劉愷威) and Yang Mi (楊冪) have finally announced their divorce in an official statement today. The two got married in 2014 and had a daughter, Noemie, in June of the same year. The divorce rumors were especially rampant this year when the two former couple’s online interactions were reduced. Not only that, Yang Mi had posted a picture of only herself during Mid-Autumn festival, making many question why Hawick Lau and Noemie were missing.

The official statement says:

“Thank you to everyone for your love and support for Hawick Lau and Yang Mi. Through both parties careful consideration, they have decided to relay the following message through our management company: The couple have already signed the divorce papers, amicably splitting up this year and ending their marriage.

This decision was carefully considered with respect by both parties. Although they won’t be living together as a married couple anymore, both parties will take on the role as a family member to take care and raise their child together. At the same time, they will wish well of each other’s future as friends.

Both artists used the media’s public resources for their own personal affairs, troubling everyone. For this, we extend our sincerest apologies. At the same time, in order to protect the child and both families, after this statement is public, both parties will no longer respond to this matter. We hope the media and the public will respect their wishes and give them their own space. Please don’t bother their child or either party’s families.

Once again, thanks to the media and the public for their concern, support, and love. The both of them will continue to work hard and live well. Thanks!”

Leanne Li (李亞男) has given birth to baby girl, Gabrielle on the 17th. The new mother posted the good news on Instagram yesterday. Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍), revealed Gabrielle is 7.1 pounds. He shares, “During the delivery, the doctor put on Jacky Cheung’s “Love You More Each Day.” So it felt no different than her getting gel nails done. The whole process only took 10+ minutes or so, when I finally saw her. I cut a bit of the umbilical cord ceremonially because the doctor had already cut it during the C-section.” Wong Cho Lam also jokes, “Her eyes look like mommy’s, but unfortunately, her nose and mouth looks like mine. I’ve heard daughters change when they turn 18. I will pray for her, hoping she will look more like mommy.”

Wong Cho Lam revealed he didn’t carry baby Gabrielle until a week later. He says, “I’m afraid I will cry if I carry her. I have to nourish my voice for the musical. So after the musical ends, I will have a good cry. On Leanne Li’s condition, Wong Cho Lam shares that she was still in pain after the C-section and had to take pain killers. However, he says that Leanne Li looks really happy looking at their daughter while she’s breastfeeding. He says he chose the right wife and said Leanne Li is a good mother.

When asked what push present he plans on giving to Leanne Li, he says, “After her postnatal care, we will go to Japan and eat sashimi. She hasn’t eaten it for a year.” On their plans on having another baby, he shares, “I’ve heard you have to wait 6 months after the C-section. I want to have one sooner because I’m getting old.” On whether he wants to have a boy, Wong Cho Lam says, “It’s up to fate.”

Jackie Chan’s (成龍) daughter with Elaine Ng (吳綺莉), Etta Ng (吳卓林), recently returned to Hong Kong as a married woman with her Canadian wife, Andi.  It has been quite tumultuous for her and her family as she came out as a lesbian and left home to be with Andi in Canada last year.  Her struggles in Canada were also documented when she and Andi were publicly asking for financial assistance and even tried to look for Jackie Chan as a last resort.

“He’s actually not bad or good in my eyes because I don’t know him.”
Etta Ng and Andi recently sat down with Apple Daily for an exclusive interview.  They talk about their relationship and future and also bring up Etta Ng’s relationships with her father, Jackie Chan.  When asked if she’s ever seen her father before, Etta Ng, who has been given the moniker “Little Dragon Girl” by the media, responds, “I’ve never seen him.  You asking me if I’ve ever seen him is like me asking you.   The level of familiarity I have with him is about the same as yours.  He’s actually not bad or good in my eyes because I don’t know him.  I won’t judge a person I don’t know.  I know when I was younger I said some impulsive things, but right now my mental health is much more balanced.  I believe people will do wrong things sometimes.  However much wrong you did, is your life, not my life.  I don’t even care.  But it’s really weird.  Once I was born, everyone knew who I was.  I don’t even know who I am.  Everyone is looking at me and waiting to see how I die or how I end up.  I’m thinking to myself, what?”

When asked if it was stressful being Jackie Chan’s daughter, Etta Ng says, “It’s true.  That’s why I was really unhappy before.  It was the hardest for me when I was going to school in China.  People thought I had a relationship with my father and would say things like “rich girl, rich girl.”  I don’t even want to talk about that school, but those teachers are also useless.  I was on the ground being kicked.  A teacher passes by and says, “Don’t be like that.”  They stop and the teacher leaves, but they continue kicking.”

“I’ve never thought about getting anything from him.”
Jackie Chan once revealed in an interview that he was leaving half of his estimated 3 billion HKD fortune to his wife, Joan Lin (林鳳嬌) and son,  Jaycee Chan (房祖名), while the other half is being donated to charity.  In Jackie Chan’s latest memoir, there was no mention of Etta Ng at all.  On these comments, she expresses, “I don’t want anything from him.  And I don’t mind,  I’m not hurt.  It’s really none of my business.  It’s good that he’s donating to charity, but maybe I think too much, like where is his money going and how is it being used?  In the end, I don’t care.”

About the video of her searching for Jackie Chan, Etta Ng says, “When I was looking for my father, there were a lot of things I didn’t know.  I wasn’t trying to get money from him or money from anyone else.  Everyone who watched the video said, “You want money, you want money.”  No, I was confused.  I was scared.  I have mental health problem sometimes.  I feel like a lot of things have made me lost.  In a way, yes, it was a cry for help, but it was a cry for help for information.  If I meet him, I’ll say, “Yo, what’s up dude.  That’s cool.  Can you give me some info? Like what happened when I was young?  Why is my mom like this? I need answers.”

On Rumors of Jaycee Chan Reaching Out to Help
On whether she has met her brother, Jaycee Chan, Etta Ng says no, but the reporter presses on and mentions the rumors of him once helping her and even going out to have dinner together.  To this, Etta Ng says, “No, there was no such thing.  I don’t know him.  We have blood relations.  Like Mr. (Jackie) Chan, I don’t know you.  I don’t hate you.  I don’t love you.  I don’t have any feelings about him.  I only know if his existence.  That’s all.”  On why she changed her last name from Ng to Zen, she says, “I was never a Chan.  I want my own identity.  Zen is really just to remind myself to be calm.”

On Her Relationship with Andi
Etta Ng says about her relationship with Andi, “I understand everyone’s thinking. “You’re only 19 and don’t know what you’re thinking.  You’re rushing to get married.  You don’t know what you’re doing.  You guys will break up in a few years.”  No way.  I know what I’m doing.  She is perfect.  I don’t know how you want me to explain it.”

On the public’s opinion about Andi only being with her for money, Etta Ng says, “When we first met, she didn’t know I was the daughter of someone famous.  I tried my best to explain myself.  As for people saying she’s after my money, I don’t have any money!  So I don’t know what people think.  It’s funny to me.”

Etta Ng also shares she already knew she was gay in the 6th grade.  In order to appease her mother, she had once tried going out with a boy, but she felt it was wrong and hard to accept.  On Elaine Ng not accepting Andi, Etta Ng says, “I don’t think she would dare say it to the media, but I think she’s a traditional woman, it’s hard for her to accept.  When she sends me a message, it will say, “Tell your friend” not “Tell your wife.”  Andi is the person I love the most in the world.  My mom is my mom.  Every child wishes for their mom to accept their significant other.  I think this takes time to slowly adapt.  Maybe it’s too shocking all of a sudden for her to accept change.  So give her some time.  Of course I hope she accepts her, but we have to take it slow.  We can’t force things.”

It has almost been two weeks since the lascivious behavior of TVB actor, Hugo Wong, was revealed by his female fan and occasional hook up buddy, Michelle.  Hugo Wong was accused by Michelle of impregnating her, who is currently 18 weeks along, and then “disappearing” and ignoring her after she told him about it.  Shortly afterwards, another “victim” of Hugo Wong’s sexual advances, singer, TikChi, exposed previous conversations she had with the actor, which shows him asking her to sleep with him on multiple occasions even after she declined.  Yesterday, the actor appeared in good spirits at TVB’s annual artists dinner and even spoke with reporters about his recent news.

Hugo Wong expressed he is taking a short vacation after filming for “Airport Security Unit” is finished.  When asked about TikChi’s recent claims about his sexual advances, he said he didn’t have anything to say.  When asked if his image has been affected, he says, “We first have to be ourselves and do our best.  Actors are role models.  As actors and as normal people, we need to do our best.”  Reporters asked if he is scared of women now, he says, “There’s nothing to be scared of.  You can’t avoid fate when the right timing comes.”  When asked if TVB scolded him for this, he says, “I was frank with them and they have an understanding on what happened.”  On whether he’ll be more careful in the future, he chuckles and says, “Of course.”

After this interview came out, Michelle was livid and cursed him out.  She also shared pictures of her at the hospital with Oriental Daily.  She reveals she is having an abortion in Guangzhou today.  As for Hugo Wong denying he is the father of her baby as he claims they only had sex once over a year and a half ago, she says he’s lying.  Michelle reveals, “A man who makes the woman pay for the room when he is the one asking for sex, what do you think?”  Michelle also shared pictures of the hotel where she and Hugo Wong allegedly met to hookup in July.  She says, “I want to laugh at all his previous comments.  Saying we hooked up at my place and not a hotel.  The next day, I must’ve scared him off.  He was smoking downstairs and quickly came up to make me delete our conversations.  He should get a best actor award for his acting.”

Pissed at TVB and Virginia Lok
Michelle also shared, “A person who has prior history of wrong doing, how can he continue to be in front of the camera?  Even after the news came out, he hasn’t contacted me.  I tried to look for him around the end of July.  He doesn’t respond to me through any platform or text messages.  He’s always like this.  What is TVB’s attitude on the matter?  Didn’t an executive say they wouldn’t be giving him new work right now? But yesterday’s news said he will continue working hard.  The company even told him to be more careful.  My god.  Are they telling him to be more careful the next time he hooks up with someone?  I can’t deal with much right now.  I just want to know what the hell Virginia Lok (樂易玲) is doing.”

Michelle says after her body recovers from the surgery, she will continue to make him accountable.  Because of the countless times he has hurt her plus the judgment from netizens, Michelle says she is suffering from depression.  She sent a clip of her crying to Oriental Daily and said, “Lately, I’ve been crying every day.  I’ve been depressed for more than a year already.  He once cried and told me he regretted making me suffer.  Now that I think about it, it’s very ironic.  It seems like I’ve never understood this person, it’s very strange.  Regarding the Hiromi Wada incident, he said he was sad for a year.  In the end, he was already hooking up four months later.  Reality is cruel.”

If you watched the 2018 TVB Anniversary Awards show, then you would have witnessed the unexpected bomb Edwin Siu dropped.  In his thank you speech, he thanked his “wife”, Priscilla Wong, stealing the show from everyone else, even if everyone was shocked/upset that Ali Lee won “Best Actress” over Alice Chan.

After the ceremony, Edwin Siu shared they were already married since April/May of this year in New Zealand.  He also shares his first proposal to Priscilla Wong failed.  He says, “The first time, I proposed to Priscilla while we were on the rollercoaster.  We were on the fastest rollercoaster in Europe.  Who knew I would get so scared when I got up there.  I took the ring out and told her to look at it, but no matter what she wouldn’t look at it.  I was afraid the ring would fall, in the end, this mission was not successful.”

As for the second proposal, Edwin Siu says, “Why don’t you guys ask her? I am a bit shy.  I don’t want to reveal too much.  I wanted to use a simple way to complete the mission.  I’ve been wanting to tell everyone since we registered our marriage, but things happened along the way.  Kevin (Cheng) got married, then it was Ruco’s turn to get married.  All of a sudden, Grace (Chan) got pregnant, but I couldn’t say anything.  So I think today was an auspicious day and good opportunity to announce it to the entire Hong Kong audience.”

Edwin Siu shares it was only them two at the civil ceremony, but they told their family afterwards.  When asked about holding a wedding banquet, he says, “We will see.  We wanted to do it privately by going on vacation and getting married.  I don’t know why we chose New Zealand, but Priscilla is a travel expert.  She was the one who chose it.  It was hard to sync our schedules.  Even the witness was a local person.”  Edwin Siu also reveals Priscilla Wong didn’t know he was going to announce their marriage tonight, but he couldn’t keep it a secret any longer.

As for the second proposal, Priscilla Wong reveals, “I proposed to him by the river.  There were no pretty clothes or setting.  We couldn’t even find a pair of fitting rings.  We arrived at a small village and found a pair of rings made from kitchenware…just like that.  At that moment, we didn’t have anything, but we had each other.  The witness asked me, why is it each other?  He said, “She is a person, who if she forgot about me in the next lifetime, I will tap her head, then she will remember me.  Then we will be together again.  She is that person.”  I said, “He is a person, who is always by my side whenever I fall, comforting me while I’m crying and bleeding until I calm down.  Then he picks me up and continues leading me.  He is that person.  What we gave each other is the promise to be there for each other.  There was no extravagant romance, but it’s enough.  We are Edwin Siu and Priscilla Wong.  That day, a rainbow appeared in the sky.  This was the best blessing.”

Another actress is off the market as Niki Chow (周勵淇) announced her marriage on Instagram today.  The 39 year old actress posted a picture of her with husband and Chinese actor, Fu Hongming (傅浤鳴), with the following message:  “We got married. We’re heading into the next chapter of our lives.  Everything is turning out to be the best arrangement.  Sharing the news with everyone here.”

Niki Chow’s company, EEG, also released an official statement on the news: “Thank you to everyone who has always supported and cared about Niki Chow.  Niki Chow has officially announced to all her friends that she has gotten married.  She and her husband, Fu Hongming, chose to have a simple wedding ceremony with only their families present.  They are opening a new chapter in their lives.  The company would also like to congratulate the new couple.  Wishing them a happy marriage and at the same time, thank those who have supported and congratulated Niki Chow, on her behalf.”

When reporters dug up information on Fu Hongming, it was discovered the 45 year old actor was once married to Chinese actress, Cheng Su (程愫) for twenty years.  The two also have a son, but in March last year, the two suddenly got a divorce.  Three months after their divorce, he was rumored to be dating Niki Chow, painting her to be the third party in his marriage.

The couple met in 2014 while filming a Chinese series called “卧底” (Undercover?).  The two played a couple in the series.  It was reported the two would often meet up and talk on the phone to get into their characters.  Fu Hongming was once seen flying to Hong Kong to see Niki Chow shortly after his divorce.

Third Party and Shotgun Wedding?
When Oriental Daily reached out to Niki Chow’s older sister, Kathy Chow (周汶錡), about her marriage, she revealed, “The wedding was actually last month.  You’ll have to ask her about the wedding details.  She’s always wanted a simple, but grand wedding.”  As for her brother in law, Kathy Chow says, “He’s very good.  We all like him a lot.  He treats Niki very well, loves her a lot.”

About the rumors of Niki Chow being a third party to Fu Hongming’s marriage, Kathy Chow vehemently denies it and shares, “Of course not.  People will circulate all kinds of rumors.  We won’t care about what people say.  The most important thing is they’re happy.”  On whether Niki Chow had a shotgun wedding, Kathy Chow also denies it saying, “Definitely not, but I do want her to have kids earlier so they can play with my kids.”

It is reported the two were dating for some time before deciding to get married.  They had their wedding overseas at the end of November and went on their honeymoon afterwards.  The couple just returned to Hong Kong yesterday.

Up and coming TVB actress, Tiffany Lau (劉穎鏇), attended a Christmas function yesterday with good pal and “Fist Fight” (兄弟) co-star, Kaman Kong (江嘉敏), in Tsim Tsa Tsui.  Tiffany Lau revealed she will be having a get together with her fans during the holidays.  Kaman Kong also says she wants to hold a fans gathering and invite Tiffany Lau as her guest.  When asked if her fans have increased on her social media accounts, Tiffany Lau says, “A lot of people have noticed me through “Fist Fight.”  I hope it’ll keep on increasing like the series rating.”  When asked if she will be giving any goodies to compensate for the good ratings, Tiffany Lau says, “I’ll take more pretty pictures.  Kaman and I will help each other take pictures.  In England, we even took pictures in bed.”  On whether she’ll be taking bikini pictures, Tiffany Lau says, “It’s winter right now, I’m afraid of the cold.  I’ve been keeping it to myself long term.”  As for Kaman Kong, she says, “Don’t bother me!”

When asked about the rumors of TVB forbidding Tiffany Lau and Wu Fei (胡㻗) from dating, she says, “From the beginning, I’ve always clarified we were good friends.  I don’t know why so many stories have been fabricated about us.”  On whether TVB has asked them to avoid seeing each other so much, Tiffany Lau says, “The company wouldn’t specifically say that.  They totally understand what happened to us.”  When asked about Wu Fei’s earlier comments to avoid driving her home, Tiffany Lau responds, “Really? I didn’t know he said that.  Maybe he wants to respect everyone so it doesn’t impact everyone’s work.”

Dicky Cheung’s (張衞健) “The Learning Curve of a Warlord” (大帥哥) is gaining popularity after originally being passed over for TVB’s other anniversary series.  Many netizens even said Dicky Cheung has what it takes to compete for “Best Actor” with TVB’s “own sons.”  However, it was once widely rumored 22 years ago that after he got popular portraying the “Monkey King”, he requested a pay raise from TVB.  It was alleged TVB told him, “You’re nothing without the hair.”, insinuating Dicky Cheung was not worth anything outside of his portrayal as the “Monkey King.”  It was rumored Dicky Cheung left TVB because of their response.

Through an interview with Oriental Daily, Dicky Cheung clarified, “I have to clear up something.  It wasn’t someone from TVB who said that to me.  This person was actually a senior in the movie industry.  He invited me to talk about a film at a coffee shop.  The role didn’t require gluing on hair.  It turns out some people can be very extreme when they want to lowball you.  That phrase hurt me deeply.  I got so mad, I immediately left.”  Dicky Cheung also says those words deeply impacted him when he was a young actor trying to hustle.  He says, “Back then, I really thought, ‘If I wasn’t the Monkey King, I wouldn’t make it?’.  Then, I thought, shit, I was already in my 30’s.”

Dicky Cheung wouldn’t reveal that person’s name, but said he’s not angry anymore.  He said, “When I think about it, I think of two “F” letters words.  It’s “forgive” and “forget.”  Once I forgive, I will delete the incident.  Even if I see that person again, it won’t be awkward.  When asked if he’s kept his head bald to prove that “Dicky Cheung without hair can still make it”, he says, “Yes and no.  At that time, I had to shave my head to film a Qing dynasty series.  Anyway, I rely on my skills…and a little bit of good looks.”

When talking about him taking one for the team by returning back to TVB even though he is worth a few hundred million dollars (HKD), Dicky Cheung says, “I have a cheap life.  So far, I’ve never filmed a series comfortably that would explode in popularity.  Every time, people will say this is the best of the best.  Filming is pretty exhausting.  So I think to myself, I was born with a hard life, but if I don’t suffer, how would we get all the fortunes in the world?"

The past few weeks have been plagued with news reporting that Vincent Wong (王浩信), 34, and Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤), 36, are at the brink of divorce. There’s been talk that the couple, who have been married since 2011, were experiencing problems in their marriage and are already living separately. Their 6-year-old daughter is also reportedly living with her grandparents.

In her first public appearance since the rumors first started, Yoyo denied all reports about their succumb to marital change. However, the actress was not wearing her wedding ring at the event.
“I really don’t know how a situation that even I don’t know about could be written in such a realistic fashion,” said the TVB actress. “Everyone has such creative minds.”

Yoyo then clarified that rumors of their separation were all false. “One, I never brought up divorce. Two, I never kicked my husband out of the house. And three, our little girl is still living with us. I don’t how these rumors started, but I want to say now that none of those stories were true.” Asking why Vincent had to move into a different apartment in their building, she said, “You can say that it’s his office. Besides being an actor, he also does business… sometimes it’s not as convenient for him to do it around the house.” On the reports that Vincent purchased a new apartment for his mother instead of for her, Yoyo said Vincent did tell her about it, and she supports his decision.

However, when Yoyo was asked if her relationship with Vincent is still loving, she said, “We never changed. Still husband and wife.” Pointing out that she’s not wearing her wedding ring, Yoyo explained, “I actually don’t wear it often! When we’re working or filming, we usually don’t wear the ring. It could get lost, so I don’t wear it.”

In regard to the rumor that Vincent had neglected her after winning TV King last year, she said, “That’s reasonable. He’s doing well in his career, and I am very happy for him. I also had a period of time when I filmed a lot. Maybe I neglected him then!”

Yoyo was unclear in her response about Vincent’s recent social media post, which showed their daughter drawing a picture. Asking if Yoyo was the one who was holding the camera, she said, “Maybe!” She added that they rarely upload family photos on social media anyways.

The actress did not wish to respond to any more questions about their marriage, saying, “The more I respond, the more people are going to talk.”

TVB actor, Hugo Wong (黃子恆), who gained some popularity through the series “OMG, Your Honour,” is in the news again for another scandal.  Hugo Wong’s previous scandal happened two years ago when it was alleged he was the third party in singer, Hiromi Wada’s (和田裕美) marriage.  Luckily, TVB still gave him work despite the rumors.  This time, it has been reported the 36 year-old actor was in a relationship with a fan of his from China.  It is said the two had an intimate relationship and once the fan found out she was pregnant, he went missing.  The female fan has incriminating evidence of Hugo Wong allegedly crying and claiming he was wrong in a voice recording and message chats.  Hugo Wong admitted yesterday that he did have a relationship with this fan, but insists they only had intercourse once.  He denies being the father of her baby and doesn’t mind getting a DNA test to confirm paternity!

Michelle, who is 28 years old this year, claims she is Hugo Wong’s super fan.  She first met him at his Guangzhou fan meeting on April 30, 2017.  The two had kept in contact with each other through private messaging on Weibo.  Michelle had quickly told Hugo Wong she had a present for him a week after meeting.  The two planned to meet at a service apartment in Shenzhen under the excuse of giving him the present.  Michelle claims, “At first, we were just watching tv.  Then, he told me to take a shower.  Later on, he came in too.  Though he wasn’t very direct in saying to have sex, but in the end we ended up doing it.”  When asked if she refused it, she said, “No, because I am young.  He is my idol, the person I like.”  After the encounter, Hugo Wong didn’t look for her in six months.  They would have short conversations from time to time, but didn’t mention the status of their relationship.

Since their relationship status was not defined, Michelle was really heartbroken.  She said she wouldn’t leave the house for three months or eat properly.  News about Michelle quickly circulated to the fans group.  The reactions were mixed with half of the group supporting her.  Michelle says Hugo Wong is just trying to protect himself.  He came out to diffuse the situation by admitting they’re good friends, but claims they had some misunderstandings along the way.  He even asked another fan to say good things about him, hoping Michelle would give him another chance.  Michelle says Hugo Wong told her he felt regret and wanted to commit suicide.

Michelle says the two became friends again in January.  They maintained that relationship until July.  The both of them met up again in Shenzhen and she alleges the two had intercourse again.  Hugo Wong disappeared once again after the encounter.  Shortly afterwards, Michelle discovered she was pregnant.  She says every time she looks for Hugo Wong, he doesn’t respond.  Michelle says, “He is a scumbag!  My goal right now is to destroy his career.  I am four months pregnant.  It’s a bit uncomfortable right now and I have decided not to keep the baby.”  When asked if she is getting an abortion, Michelle says, “Of course.  How old am I?  This is my first pregnancy.  Even though it’s dangerous, but it’s better to get it done quickly.”  As to Hugo Wong claiming they only had intercourse once, Michelle says, “He can say whatever he wants.  It doesn’t matter.  Nothing he says is true.”

The following is the conversation between Oriental Daily News and Hugo Wong:

Reporter: How many times did you two have intercourse?

Hugo Wong: It was only once.  The first time we met was last April at the fan meeting.  After that, we both went our separate ways.  A week after the fan meeting, she said she had a present for me.  That day was our second time meeting.

Reporter: The second meeting, did you receive the present in your hotel room?

Hugo Wong: No, it was where she lived.  It was a service apartment in Shenzhen.  Before the fan meeting, we actually knew each other.  We interacted on Weibo.  I thought the first time meeting each other at the fan meeting would be a good setting so it’s not just the two of us alone.

Reporter: Michelle says she’s pregnant with your baby.  Did you guys have protection during intercourse?

Hugo Wong: Yes, we took all the precautionary measures.  I wore a condom. We actually haven’t seen each other for year and a half.

Reporter: Will you report it to the police?

Hugo Wong: I did seek out legal advice.  This is more of a civil matter.  After all, we were friends  I once gave her hope.  We’ve tried it, but it didn’t work out.  I can’t do anything about it.

Reporter: Are you afraid she’ll do something crazy, like commit suicide?

Hugo Wong:  I can’t control how she thinks.  I just hope these rumors don’t continue spreading.  I actually have ways of proving myself.

Reporter: You’re even willing to get a paternity test?

Hugo Wong:  Yes.  I am willing to do it anytime.

Jeannie Chan (陳瀅) and Carlos Chan (陳家樂), who were seen having dinner a few days ago, were asked about their dating rumors today.  Even though the two were not at the same event, the two had corroborated their story well when reporters were grilling them about that night’s event.  Jeannie Chan said, “Actually we just got off work and decided to have dinner together.”  When asked why she drove Carlos Chan back to her place, she explained, “This I have to explain clearly.  Carlos didn’t drive that day, but we were both going to Hong Kong island.  The parking lot beneath my home is a subway station, that’s why I drove him.  After that, we separated.  It’s a good thing the news report said I was with my friends later on.”

On whether Carlos Chan is pursuing her, Jeannie Chan exclaims they aren’t.  When asked about Carlos Chan feeding her that night, Jeannie Chan said, “This is just the effect of the writing and camera skills.  It’s really for entertainment purposes.”  On whether the two are developing their relationship further, she said, “Because we’re both filming together and both are single, it’s easy to have rumors spread about us.  It’s happened to me a few times already.”
When asked if Carlos Chan is her cup of tea, Jeannie Chan says, “He’s a very hard worker.  Crew members says we look like brothers and sisters.  I really need to clarify because we’re just working together.”  Jeannie Chan also says she won’t avoid eating with her co-stars as it’s normal and won’t be cautious of it in the future.  She also says she ate with Matthew Ho (何廣沛) before just that it wasn’t filmed.
Carlos Chan’s Side of the Story
Carlos Chan was at the blessing ceremony for his new film with co-star and rumored girlfriend, Kathy Yuen (湯怡).  Reporters asked Kathy Yuen if she feels a sigh of relief now that Carlos Chan has new dating rumors.  She responded, “Can’t really say that, but I think it’s funny.”  When asked about the dating rumors with Jeannie Chan, Carlos Chan laughed and said, “I will have no more friends.  We were just eating dinner.  I was not feeding her, it was an angle issue.  She was only driving me to the subway station near her home.  We are not dating.  We’re like brothers.”
As for whether or not they have a chance to develop further, Carlos Chan says he’s not thinking about it now as he’s busy with work.
