He clearly gained some weight and when he took pictures with TV Queen Kristal, he playfully tried to do a Chok pose. Dayo expressed his biggest plans in the Year of the Horse is prepare for his standup comedy and gain weight. He said: "This New Year, I can relax and eat cake. Before, people said I was too skinny, so this year I'm going to try to gain some weight, at least 20-30 pounds. I won't stop until I hear protests." When speaking of him being in a relationship, will it be easier to gain weight? He laughed: "We're very sweet everyday!"

Dayo also grew a mustache, he laughed and said his mother scolded him. "She said she wasn't used to seeing me with a mustache. She also treats me like a 6 year old boy." Dayo disclosed he'll be spending time with his mother over the new year break and of course he'll be sending new year greetings to his girlfriend's family. Asked if he's worried they might get rushed into marriage? He joked: "Then get some red envelopes to keep their mouth shut!"

Kristal had a singing performance at the event, she expressed after several live singing performances, she's not as nervous. She disclosed she'll be spending New Years with her family and husband Chapman To in Burma to recharge. She said: "We're going to visit and quietly enjoy a vacation." Last night The Hippocratic Crush cast Kenneth Ma, Tavia Yeung, Him Law, Mandy Wong and Benjamin Yuen attended a Lunar New Year countdown event. Tavia disclosed her mother makes CNY cake as gifts to friends, but then that gave the MC an excuse to ask her about her love life. When asked if she'll leave a CNY cake for Him Law? Tavia said: "Only those who come to send new year greetings get one." Later when Tavia was playing games, the teasing kept going as the title was surprisingly "Big boy Him Him Loves Tavia the Most". Tavia immediately blocked the last part of the message by posing for the cameras. Unexpectedly Kenneth comes in and 'toys' with them some more, he played dumb and read the message out loud once more. Him was so embarrassed he just smiled awkwardly. During the big group picture, Kenneth continued toying with them by deliberately pushing Tavia and Him to stand next to each other. It was a hilarious moment.

Tavia was asked whether she really will invite Him to her house for new year greetings? Tavia said: "By courtesy, the younger generation should be sending new year greetings to my mom. (Has Him met your mom?) They've met. (What does you mom have to say?) Nothing special, so old-fashioned! (Didn't give him tips on how to please his future mother-in-law?) What? Future what? I have no tips to give. Don't give such simple chocolates as gifts."

Asked whether Him prepared anything special for Valentine's Day? Tavia said if he has time, he should visit her on the set because she has to work during the holiday. She expressed she already prepared chocolates to give to the crew and when asked what gift she prepared for Him? Tavia said: "Well you have to ask him. (He said he'll give you a ring!) Wah, you're trying to trap me! Work is our priority."

As for Kenneth, he disclosed TVB let everyone take three days off for Lunar New Year. He praised TVB for keeping their promise, presently they really do have 80% of the script ready before actual filming begins and that gives artists more time to prepare. Asked whether Kenneth is afraid relatives might hurry him to get married when they go send new year greetings? Kenneth smiled: "Can't worry too much. (Even a Seun Poon has trouble choosing?) Well, you have to ask the girls. The label Seun Poon was given to me by the media, I believe every girl has a Seun Poon in their hearts that belong to them." Kenneth felt relationships should be left to fate. Although many friends such as Tavia Yeung and Tsui Wing had said they would introduce women to him, but they haven't taken any action yet. Kenneth laughed: "I don't mind meeting a new friend, it won't hurt. It is not like we have to get married after we meet. I won't feel awkward at all."

At another Lunar New Year event that Him attended earlier in the day, he expressed it was his first singing performance in HK and frankly said he felt quite nervous. He said he hired a teacher to help him practice and hoped the audience will pardon [his poor singing]. Asked if rumored girlfriend Tavia was at the scene would she affect his performance? Him said: "I'm a man, won't get affected, but I think she never heard me sing before. (Can you sing love songs?) Didn't have enough time to practice. I don't have much confidence in singing." When asked if he'll practice a love song before February 14th Valentine's Day? Him smiled and appeared as if he understood where reporters were trying to ask. He said: "That romantic? I'm not sure if I have to work or not, I may have to go overseas for stage performances. (Take Tavia with you?) I'm working at TVB too, I know she's filming a new series. (What kind of Valentine's Day gift will you give her?) Finish the show first, deal with it after this year."

TVB Lunar New Year series Queen Divas is about two popular television actresses Joyce Tang and Angela Tong who are always competing against each other. They compete from the entertainment industry to the wealthy family they both marry into. What women fear most is being compared to others, but the two first time daughter-in-laws shouldn't mind because in their husbands Matthew Chu and Chin Ka Lok's hearts, they are the queens.

We cannot deny the Queen Divas producer had a good eye when casting Joyce and Angela to star in this series because their roles are very similar to them in real life. Just like the series, Joyce and Angela started their career together in the TVB Artistes Training Class in 1995 and coincidentally they both just became married women not long ago. The former just married her fiance Matthew Chu a month ago and the latter married Chin Ka Lok a year ago. The ladies completely satisfied the needs of the series.

After marriage, the first experience is of course the relationship with their mother-in-laws. Fortunately, the ladies have easy to get along with mother-in-laws and there hasn't been any challenge being a daughter-in-law. Joyce said: "It is her son (Joyce's husband) that is amazing because he was the one who found an especially big house for us to live in, therefore we all have our own personal space. When I need peace and quiet, I can go up to the second level. Also my mother-in-law has her own circle of friends, she doesn't need us to accompany or accommodate her." Angela added: "Before we got married, I spent time alone with Chin Ka Lok's parents whenever he didn't have time. We don't have any problems getting along. It was only after my daughter was born, my mother came over to help us take care of the baby and it was then they saw the whinny side of me." Angela laughed loudly after she said that.

Chan Sam Yuen v.s. Lee Siu Ho

Come to think of it, Joyce and Angela have a pretty good marriage life. In the real world, they have already found their greatest happiness and will no longer have to strive for lead roles like they do in the series, but Joyce expressed she doesn't see it that way. "After marriage, I actually think this is the opportunity where I could really charge forward in career and make a breakthrough because if I have children in the future, I probably won't put that much effort into it, so I'm really going to take advantage of this time and hit a new breakthrough in my acting career." You cannot blame her for being so career-minded since she was already recognized for her sassy rich girl role "Leung Bing Suet" in the long running sitcom The Kindred Spirit. Joyce later had her most notable role "Chan Sam Yuen" in the Armed Reaction franchise, but the female lead went from Esther Kwan to Ada Choi and Joyce was stuck as the second lead. Although she didn't have the first leading role, she still had a breakthrough opportunity!

But whether an artist gets popular or not, it really depends on the right timing. Angela Tong is a good example. When she first debuted she was given many third party roles because she had a sexy image. Fortunately in 2005, she was given an ugly girl role "Lee Siu Ho" in Life Made Simple, which got her very popular and that same year, she won "Best Supporting Actress" at the TVB Anniversary Awards. Angela got so popular, she made it on the headlines on the magazines all over Hong Kong and her wealthy family background surfaced as well. Unfortunately her popularity didn't last long. Angela said: "I agree women shouldn't give up on their career after marriage. My personality is not suitable to be a full-time mother. Haha, I say that but if my daughter ever need me one day, I'll think differently!"

Two-People World v.s. 24 Hour Mother

Angela shared her experience as a mother, she said: "I don't know if its because of hormonal changes, but after becoming a mother, I am very sensible. When my daughter first learned to turn herself, I cried; Every family themed movie I watched with Chin Ka Lok, I cried. In the past whenever I have interviews, I would prepare several different outfits, so the media could take pictures, but now I just call Toby (Leung) and borrow clothing from her because I don't want to buy new clothing. I don't have place to put them since my daughter has hogged all the space in my house."

Its a blessing to be a mother and its not like Joyce hasn't considered this, but at this stage in life, she enjoys life with just two people. Joyce met her husband at a wine tasting party and then they started dating. She expressed what she admires most about her husband is he's attentive. "In front of others, he's very cool, but in front of me, he's like a big kid. The most important is he really understands me. He knows exactly what I need at the right time. As for babies, we actually really enjoy a free lifestyle, but we're considering it." A newly wed wife meets a new mother, what a sweet combination!

Yesterday Ella Koon appeared at the airport to take part in the "Gift Donation" charity event. It was suppose to be a joyous event, but Ella had a frown because earlier she shared her thoughts on cultural differences in an exclusive interview that got Netizens upset and stirred up an intense dispute. Ella talked about "kicking away hate and discrimination" in the article. She recalled back when she was still studying in England, she got supercilious looks from others and the other students made fun of her due to the cultural differences. Ella urged Hong Kong people to show tolerance and consideration to foreigners.

Excerpt from the article:
"Facing the inevitable cultural differences, we all should show tolerance. Especially the recent years in China and Hong Kong, there are cultural differences that have stirred up many societal issues. Many people like to record the interesting behaviors/actions of people from China and share the videos online. Many people comment and share their views on those videos, but actually when HK became an English colony, there had already been a lot of cultural differences. At the time, the British would tease the people of HK for not having any manners or etiquette, so HK people today shouldn't evolve into people who make fun of its own people.

We are all Chinese people. We should leave room to accept them (Mainlanders). We all live in a different environment and have different cultures. We shouldn't be picking on them or judging them right off the back. We should be showing tolerance and consideration, or perhaps help them understand our culture and fit into our society. It is just like how we, Chinese people, lived in other countries. At first, we didn't feel comfortable and we weren't happy, but they slowly showed tolerance and through communication, there was a consensus. This kind of society can survive through the differences of people and voices. There shouldn't be so much hate and discrimination."

At the charity event, Ella quickly explained herself in an interview with the media. She publicly asked for forgiveness and started sobbing. After taking a break, she came back and expressed: "My article was mainly about the minute etiquette in life. I understand why my friends and Netizens were so upset. I just told them to accept it without actually feeling their pain and pressure. Actually I never been in contact in that area, (referring to the baby formula and schooling battles) but I'm personally striving to avoid misunderstanding from happening. I really feel unhappy that I made them upset because I really meant well."

Netizens criticized Ella since she holds a passport from a foreign country, she starts speaking "sarcasm". Ella lost her voice from crying, she said: "I was born in the French Polynesia, but I carry a Hong Kong SAR passport. I came back to HK when was 2 and pledged to get my Chinese name. My parents are from HK and I love HK too. I know many people will say I'm acting (her crying), but I really do understand why everyone is so upset. I was only speaking to the details in the etiquette of life. It is just like a person goes to a foreign country and does something, that person never thought what they did would make so many people unhappy. It is my fault, I should have been more cautious. Everything I said has absolutely no business elements."

Ella got more and more emotional, she mentioned it is an issue of her character. She had always been a sincere person, she is an "artist", not a "con artist". Ella said: "I do things based on my conscience. You say I'm a 'con artist', then that includes lying and deceiving people, but I have never done such thing. I just wrote an article without getting an understanding of the situation beforehand and caused a misunderstanding. Hong Kong is my home, I really like Cantonese and this incident really makes me feel like I'm disliked by family."

Tavia had been suffering a throat infection and lost her voice for two days. Kenneth and Tavia collaborate once again as a couple, asked if they're worried the audience might get bored of watching them? Since Tavia lost her voice, Kenneth did all the talking: "No, the audience enjoy watching us as a pair. The story is different and actually I have never seen Tavia in pig tails before. Its cute."

Because of Tavia's throat infection, she was coughing nonstop at the event yesterday. Coincidentally her boyfriend Him Law also had coughs, did she infect him? Tavia laughed: "Is he? I'm not sure. If possible, I want to infect him." Asked whether she and her boyfriend have to be separated because she's sick? She laughed: "No, if he has the heart, he's welcome to visit." Tavia was speaking softly during her interviews, asked if her boyfriend had complimented her sweet and gentle sick voice? She said: "He did send his regards. Actually many people said before I sound like a man. Once I open my mouth, I scare everyone."

This is Joel Chan's comeback series after his two year hiatus. Joel disclosed he's portraying a villain in this series and that he's used to portraying the evil person. "I had dinner with Miss Lok (Virginia) earlier, she thought I was in a good state and I felt I was ready too; Tim Gor (Lee Tim Shing) was starting a new series, so I'll be concentrating entirely on filming series now." Joel was asked whether Miss Lok suggested he shouldn't focus so much on his relationships in the future? He said: "No. Let the past be the past. I will reflect on the areas I'm weak on and repay TVB for giving me another chance. Work comes first."

It was rumored after Joel broke up with Florinda Ho, he was in debt. Joel said: "I signed a three year contract with TVB and I got a raise too. I will work hard to repay TVB's gratitude. If I was in debt, there would be circulars on the streets long ago."

Aimee Chan talked a lot about her baby caring experiences in her exclusive interview with [Good News]. Aimee named her son "Aiden Joshua", just by that we can see she has high expectations on her son. "I don't think its easy at all. I have to take the time to learn many things and now I have even more appreciation for my mother who worked so hard raising me! Everything about caring for a baby is difficult! From feeding him to changing his diaper to giving him baths, and when he cries you need to know what he wants.... it is not easy at all. With him as a challenge, I have to learn to solve problems every day. Because I'm a new mother, I have to learn everything. Because every baby has different personality, the most important is to learn your baby's personality! Babies are humans, they are living and have their own personalities and feelings. They have their own thoughts and capabilities. So, its like getting to know a new person. You must have confidence in yourself!"

Parents Must Be Mind Readers

As a parent, it turns out you have to know how to read minds. Aimee said: "Aiden doesn't sleep through the night, he's an active baby. He's very cute, clever and a fast learner. He will give you a reaction quick and already knows how to communicate with you! Just watching his eyes and mouth, I know what he wants to say. I've brought him home for several weeks now and been chatting with him, he understands what you're trying to say. When he grows up, he may become a giant opinionist, haha. Aiden is absolutely a ponderous baby. Sometimes it feels like he wants to say something to me, but unfortunately I don't understand. I really have to know how to read minds!"

Ultimately, is Mom (Aimee) better at baby caring or is Dad (Moses) better? Aimee laughed: "Haha! Luckily I think both are pretty okay. We're both learning and we do everything together. We make decisions together and we're united as one family. So far so good!"

What will little Aiden grow up to be? A pilot? A scientist? A singer? An artist? Or a coffee seller? Only the Heaven knows! Aimee and Ah Mo (Moses) just wish good health for the baby. Have they started looking into schools? Aimee said: "Not yet! I heard its a really difficult and troubling process. Its going to be a headache! I haven't thought that far yet, but my friends who are parents have given me tips. We will have to do some research on every school, but Aiden is just 6 weeks old. He's still very young. We will just concentrate on keeping him healthy now.

Career Goals Never Changed, Striving to become TV Queen One Day

Now that Aimee is married and a mother, will she limit her future development? She was a little worried herself: "I hope not! I just think acting doesn't involve my personal life. Portraying different roles, whether a young woman or even an old lady, I will try my best to portray the role. Acting is a lot of fun because you aren't being yourself. I want to try portraying a villain or roles with depth. That's where the fun is! I just hope I can keep work and my personal life separate."

It turns out Aimee's goal had never changed, she still hopes to become TV Queen or even Film Queen one day. "Of course that's my wish! Because I truly enjoy being an actress. I still have a lot of room for improvement, but an actress must have a goal. The further the goal is, the better the results. My passion has not changed, its still on fire. I look forward to Outbound Love's good results!"

Felt Moses Chan was the Right Person from the Start

When speaking of her husband, Aimee firmly said: "He's wonderful! How can I describe him? I know, he is my rock! He gives me a sense of security. We make decisions together, we trust each other and love one another. We communicate and respect each other... these are all the cornerstone of a relationship." Aimee praised her husband, he's a Superman.

Ah Mo went through twists and turns before encountering Aimee. Actually Aimee had many to choose from, why did she choose Ah Mo? She explained: "When you meet the right person, you will have this feeling. You just know it. Its really hard to list the reasons why, I just like him. He is just right for me. I just feel it!" This feeling doesn't happen often, Aimee said: "I had this feeling from the beginning. I'm not a person that plays around; I'm not someone who goes from one boyfriend to the next. I'm a very serious person. I've felt Ah Mo was the right person from the start. I don't get into relationships just for fun, I really hope to find someone who can be with me for the rest of my life until the end!"

Already talking about the end of life? Its not considered fast, Aimee was already talking about her next life. If there really is reincarnation, even if she becomes a man and Ah Mo turns into a woman, they will still be together. Aimee: "Of course! Haha! I believe its our destiny! Its fascinating, when the right time and place comes, you will meet the right person. The most important is two people have those feelings at the same time. You cannot say you don't believe it, its all destined!"

Born on December 26th, Cheung Wing Hong said on the night of his birthday he appeared in TVB series that aired on three timeslots including 8:30PM Return of the Silver Tongue (RTS), 9:30PM Coffee Cat Mama (CCM) and 12:15AM Witness Insecurity. "Unfortunately my story ended in Come Home Love, otherwise I would have appeared on all four time slots that night."

The Successor of the "Fan" Surname

Since RTS and CCM aired at the same time, the audience began to recognize this Cheung Wing Hong, but not many knew his actual name. Perhaps some of us are still asking... what is his name? "After these two series aired, whenever I walked out many people asked me for autographs and pictures, but it feels strange talking about autographs because I'm not considered mainstream. A few days ago, I was at the convenience store and one of the workers asked me for an autograph. After I signed it, he was surprised because he thought I was Mr. Fan!" Cheung turning into Fan, all thanks to the TVB scriptwriters. From Three Kingdoms RPG's "Fan Kan" to RST's "Fan Kun" and CCM's "Fan Fat", the scriptwriters gave the Fan surname to him.

"Even the lady working at the parking garage in my building says: 'Good morning, Mr. Fan!' I said to her my surname isn't Fan, but she said: 'I know, I think your surname is Cheung!' She 'thinks'!" All three of his character names basically sound the same, its just written differently. Cheung Wing Hong expressed he knew about this arrangement when he got the RTS script. "Because the two series had the same scriptwriter, but CCM's 'Fan Fat', I only found out when producer Lee Yim Fong told me. I said to her: 'What to do?', but she said: 'Not bad!' Although the names are very similar, the audience liked me more and thus its a benefit to me. Actually all three roles may have the same name, but the personalities are very different. I usually don't really pay attention to how the public is reacting to the series after it airs, but I'm pleased to hear so much noise this time around."

Dialogue More Important than Money

Before Cheung Wing Hong joined TVB, he was an artist under Andy Lau's management company. At the time, there were only four male artists Gordon Lam, Teddy Lin, Cheung Wing Hong and Andy himself. Among the four, three of them started their career from the TVB Artistes Training Class. Andy felt Cheung had the potential, so he gave him two options either to participate in the Mr. Hong Kong contest or enroll in the TVB Artistes Training Class and start from the bottom. Cheung said: "Mr. HK had the biggest noise and the fastest way to get known. However, I didn't think twice and picked the Training Class." Cheung insisted to start from the bottom, he said because he had always been clear on what the difference between a celebrity and an artist is. "There is nobody who entered this industry that didn't want to get popular, but I like to move the audience through my roles and let them like me. I don't like my fame to be greater than my acting."

Cheung understood it is not that easy to gain a producer's trust. He often expresses to directors his desires in acting. "Making a living is necessary, but if I'm paid to stand around in a scene set at a bar and have no acting to do, then I rather not do it. Instead, if I had a minor role with dialogue, then I will do it because I want to let the producer know I am not afraid to say my lines."

A Family Photo Without Him

When Cheung was 5 years old, his mother ran away from home after a fight with his father. Since then, Cheung never saw his mother again. "I don't even know if she's still around." Because his father had a factory in Mainland was never around, Cheung was raised by his grandmother and has a really distant relationship with his father. Later, his father remarried and had another son. "So, I had never had a real family. I relied on myself since youth." At this point, Cheung's eyes started turning red and tears began to form. He spent a few minutes to calm down and tried hard to hold back his tears as he said: "One time I saw a family photo in my father's room. The photo just had him, his wife and his son. I wasn't there... so I had always wanted to start my own family as soon as possible."

In 2012 before the age of 31, Cheung married his wife Angie Mak. "First, I wanted to complete a part of my life and secondly I already found my Ms. Right." The first year Cheung met his wife, he had already promised he would marry her in three years. "My wife grew up in the US and compared to an average Hong Kong girl, she is a lot more simple. At least, she's not afraid of enduring through life with me. She doesn't mind whether I have money or not. Since the day she agreed to be with me, I already felt her unlimited contributions for me. Her parents are in the States, she came to HK alone, we just have each other and that's why we both want to have a family that belongs to us."

Acting is his Ultimate Goal

Although over the years Cheung had many opportunities, he still had minor roles and didn't get anywhere. At one point, he wanted to give up, but fortunately he had his wife's support and encouragement. He was lucky to have encountered "Fan Kan" in Three Kingdoms RPG. "I wrote on my Instagram before, 'I want a simple family life, but I want to have a rich virtual life.'" He doesn't dare to say he's outstanding, he modestly said: "I just got an admission ticket to portray more important roles. I hope I can take it a step at a time and reach a stable position!"

A Good Future Father

There is still a long period of time until the birth of his first child, but Cheung and his wife already have good plans for the future. The couple wants their child to grow up in a pressure-free environment and be a happy baby. "I don't want to put a 1 year old baby in a play group nor do I plan to make my child learn this and learn that. That's just too pitiful! I just want baby to live a happy and healthy life. When he gets older and really can't catch up, then we'll send him to study abroad in the US. My wife studied in the US, so she has citizenship rights." Their child's education, the couple still has a few years before they have to think about it. But as a father, Cheung is already learning and getting himself familiar with Barney, the cartoon character most popular to 2-3 year old children. He already has two Barney apps installed on his phone to play with. "I just don't want to be unprepared when the time comes!" Most parents have English or Mandarin learning apps on their phones, but Cheung breaks the trend, by putting play/leisure in first place. He's very serious and is set to be a good future father!

Cheung is also a funny guy too, he mentioned his wife several times during the interview, but it wasn't until he was getting into his car that he suddenly turned around to ask the reporter: "Do you know who my wife is?" Of course we do, she is Angie Mak, one of the anchors on Scoop!

Earlier Charmaine Sheh and Kenneth Ma were rumored while they were filming TVB new mini movie Time Of Love in Singapore. Yesterday the two attended a Lunar New Year event as a 'couple team'. Kenneth frankly expressed he hoped their rumor continues on. "I feared there wouldn't be any rumors after I finish filming the mini movie. I always wanted the rumors to keep on going because that means more opportunities to make money." Will Kenneth also seize the opportunity to pursue Charmaine? Charmaine immediately took Kenneth's rumor with the "Chus" -- Tracy (Chu), Rebecca (Zhu), Queenie (Chu) -- to joke with. She laughed: "Kenneth didn't ask me out, my surname isn't 'Chu'!" Kenneth was asked whether he liked "Chu" (boar) or "Sheh" (snake)? He said: "My surname is 'Ma' (horse), the rumors were given to me by the media. The Horse zodiac is most compatible with the Tiger and Boar, but I'm not sure whether I am with those with the 'Chu' surname."

Charmaine expressed she didn't have any time communicate with Kenneth outside of filming: "I don't know how humorous or boring he is, because we were filming nonstop in the 5 days we were in Singapore. We didn't have any time to communicate." Kenneth also expressed because of the busy filming schedule, he didn't have any time to make opportunity to try and pursue Charmaine. He said: "Charmaine is very busy, let's see if we'll have time in the makeup room to communicate more."

Nancy Sit hosted a 5 table dinner gathering to watch the premiere of TVB Lunar New Year series Queen Divas. Coincidentally it was also Joyce Tang's 38th birthday. Her husband Matthew Chu made a surprise visit as the special guest and surprised his wife so much, the two went for a passionate kiss. Joyce smiled and expressed: "I'm currently being called Mrs. Chu or Housewife Chu very often and I'm still not used to it."

Joyce expressed she will let nature take its course when it comes to having children. Asked if it means she won't practice contraception? She said: "You can say that." If Joyce does get pregnant, what worries her most is keeping the secret, she feared she may tell everyone the good news before the traditional 3 months into the pregnancy. She's worried her behavior may give it away too, such as telling others to keep away from her in order to prevent colliding into her. She said: "If I'm pregnant, I believe I won't go on maternity leave until 5-6 months into the pregnancy or perhaps I can still portray a pregnant woman role."

Yesterday Aimee Chan, Ruco Chan, Tony Hung, Lin Xiawei and Vivian Yeo attended the promotional event for TVB new series Outbound Love premiering on Monday. Aimee expressed to her, this series was very meaningful to her because from filming until now, it feels like she had her second baby. "Although at the time I didn't know I was pregnant when I was in Malaysia, I found out after I finished filming the series. It was pretty difficult because I only had 2-3 hours of sleep each day, I had the flu and I wasn't used to eating spicy foods, it was so 'hot air'."

It was said the crew in Malaysia kindly gave Aimee several bowls of herbal tea, so she can reduce the 'hot air'. Aimee directly said: "Yes, I thought it was great. Shows my son is a tough baby, he's already that tough at a young age, when he grows up he can endure through anything."

Ruco regards this series as one of his representative works and has confidence in the TV ratings. He said: "I've discussed this with Tony Hung, if the series gets 30 points, he will demonstrate a cold swim and I will stop driving in my personal time." When speaking of TVB's ratings had only been average lady, Ruco felt this is the modification stage. If the ratings aren't good, then that means there room for improvement. Because of Outbound Love, Ruco Chan has been dubbed the "Penang Prince". He claimed he got that reputation because of his dark skin. "I'm in trouble now that I'm filming The Great Pharmacist because the producer wanted me to be a little more pale, so I've borrowed my mother's skincare products to use." Ruco has roots in Malaysia, he expressed earlier when he went back to Malaysia to visit relatives, they told him to start a business there. Ruco said: "But I will stay in Hong Kong to film more good productions first."

This will be Tony Hung's debut TV series and he has already taken Toby Chan's first on-screen kiss and given his first to Lin Xiawei. Tony expressed he was cautious and unnatural: "It did not feel like in the past where I could just freely kiss a girlfriend at the corner of the street because I wasn't really familiar with the girls when we were filming the kiss scenes. (After the kisses, more familiar?) After we NGed several times, it got more comfortable. (Report it to your girlfriend?) I've been single for two years, I don't have a girlfriend now." Asked if there were love sparks after the kisses? He thought for a moment before answering: "I really didn't feel anything, I really have to consider my sexual orientation."

Yesterday afternoon, Kenneth Ma attended a Lunar New Year event. His New Year resolution is to get more 'peach blossoms', he said: "The entertainment circle relies on people relations. Of course I hope more audience will support me. (Love life?) Leave it to fate. I've never tried to force it. (Encountered a good girl yet?) Actually I've met many, but it just haven't been anything romantic. There are many good girls in TVB, you can ask me who is good and I will say they are good." Asked whether any of them are right for him? He said he didn't have much time to get to know them more and also he's not someone who can easily find a girlfriend love at first sight.

Known as the TVB 'seun poon', Kenneth laughed and said there are many female 'seun poons' in TVB as well. Asked whether rumored girlfriend Charmaine Sheh is a seun poon? He said: "Of course Charmaine is. She's very professional, but we were only filming for a few days and were really busy, didn't have time to get to know her more. I hope we could collaborate more in the future." Kenneth frankly expressed he hopes to collaborate with different female artists. "There is no reason to keep pairing up with one or two actresses. I'm afraid the audience might get bored. (Bored of Tavia Yeung?) No, but I'm just afraid the audience will be. I've been only paired with Tavia or Selena Li recently. (Who do you want to pair up with?) Linda Chung or Eliza Sam, I haven't been paired with them before. I just want to pair with everyone I haven't collaborated with before. In acting, we must give the audience something refreshing from time to time." When speaking of the rumor he had with Tracy Chu, will he be afraid of more rumors if they collaborated again? He said: "There could be rumors with whoever I collaborate with. I have never been afraid of rumors. (Fear rumors may stop you from finding true love?) I haven't thought about this before. (The rumors are true?) If they are true, then how could it be concealed from you all? I won't be afraid to collaborate with someone just because of rumors. I am open to collaborating with all female artists."

I'm pretty confident and my size is pretty good. (Might get out of shape after having a baby?) This is a gift from God, the baby comes first. (When do you plan to have children?) The best is before age 35. (Have you discussed this with anyone?) No, but I won't have one until after marriage. I'm currently busy with my work."

TVB Lunar New Year series Queen Divas starring Nancy Sit, Angela Tong, Joyce Tang, Evergreen Mak and Pierre Ngo premieres next Monday. In the series, Angela and Joyce play good friends who join showbiz together, but because of repeated misunderstandings, they became a bickering pair competing for everything. Eventually they both married into a wealthy family, Angela married Pierre Ngo and Joyce married his brother Evergreen Mak. The two took their competition to the next level, and started fighting for favor in the family. In the end, their mother-in-law Nancy Sit had to step in to settle them down.

This is Angela's first series after giving birth and now that she's already a married woman, she turns away from kiss scenes, but unfortunately she wasn't able to escape from it. She laughed: "After I got married, I didn't really want to do kiss scenes. I thought I got away with it in the bed scene I had with Pierre, but to my surprise, during our wedding scene everyone shouted 'kiss him, kiss him', and I don't know how we ended up with one kiss. When that scene airs, I'm turning off the TV, so my husband can't watch it. Haha."

Angela and Joyce can finally show her comedic skills in the this series. The ladies had several funny costumes, such as the "maiden Pi". It turns out Joyce and Angela graduated from the TVB Artistes Training class the same year and were classmates, thus they had great chemistry. Angela said: "We had many funny scenes, just like the wedding scene, Joyce played a joke on me by patting the 'bye bye' meat on my arm. We were laughing to death."

Yesterday Josie Ho and Vincent Wong attended TVB new series Tomorrow Another War costume fitting. Josie returns to TVB after ten years and it was all because the role attracted her. In the series, Josie plays a female prisoner who has a young son. Vincent plays a correctional officer and will have a relationship with Josie. Josie said: "When I was younger, I filmed TVB series before but that was over ten years ago. My role is really pitiful, many things happen to me and I have never met a good person except for Vincent."

Josie laughed and said she knows filming TVB series is difficult, but she is well prepared. She had already put in a request for only a few hours of work a day, but she's not sure if TVB will consider it. "Actually we all have to make accommodations. I will also be shooting with another crew at the same time." When speaking of the reason why she came back to TVB? Josie said: "Because this is a really good role, that was my driving force. Even though I knew its going to be hard work, I'm still willing to do it, but don't push me into the toilet. (How about cleaning the toilets?) I can do it! I'm good at cleaning toilets! Several years ago when I worked on a musical in Beijing, I saw a toilet that was very difficult to clean and I couldn't stand it, so I went to do it myself. I cleaned the whole toilet and the sink."

In the series, Vincent was negatively influenced at a young age and almost joined the triad as a gangster. He was caught shoplifting at a convenience store that Josie worked at, but fortunately she gave him a chance. Since then, he got back on the right path and became a correctional officer, then the two began to develop a relationship. Asked if he'll have to get slapped again in this series? Vincent laughed: "This time I'll get beaten. The story is about how I end up going to jail because of Josie, but since I used to be a correctional officer, I got bullied."

Yesterday Myolie Wu served as a guest at Emperor Jewellery's "Jade Gallery" launching ceremony. She appeared in a white back-revealing dress to accompany her jade diamond ring and necklace valued at HK$50 million. Myolie expressed: "I really have to be extra careful." Myolie had a beautiful figure, asked if she had to go on a diet in order to wear her white dress? Let's not talk about this anymore. (Are you going to be lonely this Lunar New Year?) Not lonely, I will have time to be with my family and go on vacation with my female friends. (Go with your pursuer too?) I'm not sure. Just chatting on the phone, I have some imaginations. I don't want my imaginations destroyed. (Tall and handsome?) Ok la." As for ex-boyfriend Bosco Wong, it was rumored he's dating a girl outside of the industry now? She said: "No comment. No matter what I say, its not going to be right. We've separated. Anthony Wong had intentions to run for the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild's (HKPAG) President. Yesterday he arrived at the HKPAG office in Kwoon Tong to apply for membership, but the Executive Secretary, Astrid Chan, didn't let him in and shut the door on him. Anthony was furious and vented his anger outside the closed door.

Yesterday there was new developments to the story. Anthony and Astrid had a verbal war on the internet. Yesterday morning Astrid stressed on Weibo she had already told Anthony and his group to apply for membership on December 20th of 2013. She even had email and written records of it as proof. Ten minutes later, Astrid wrote again on Weibo: "Anthony Wong's movies, I've always enjoyed watching. I watched the clips of when he pretended to faint and vomit outside of the HKPAG door yesterday, I thought he was just so cute! But please let me go, I'm just a little woman! The days without a President, I have been trying my best to endure through the difficult time. I was just expressing on behalf of the membership group, why are you trying to make it difficult on us?"

"Who Are You? Justice Sung?"

Last night Anthony refuted Astrid on Weibo and Facebook, he "Please Chan Give Up On Me" and "I wasn't allowed in, how could I apply for membership?" respectively. He later accepted a telephone interview and expressed he did not know the committee had a meeting scheduled on the 21st. "Nobody notified me. Don't mess with me! I have already been played too much. Now people think I stole the Guild's constitution!" Anthony then bluntly criticized Astrid directly: "She wants to verify/approve the artistes? It is more like I should check on her! She hasn't revealed anything in so long, I have my doubts on whether she's even qualified! There is less than 10 days until the next meeting, I'm not even sure if I'll be approved! I think don't disregard the constitution."

Anthony threatened he could propose to take Astrid Chan's post as the Executive Secretary away. "Violated the constitution! Let's not even talk about the membership, are we not allowed to go in and fill out the application form? It must have been her personal decision, not the committee. Who are you? Justice Sung? I don't think so! She told me to let her go, I beg of her to give up on me! They should get things straight internally first. Wasting time! She said something about a black operation. Well I'm standing outside of a black operation, not inside. Does she even know what a black operation is? She doesn't even speak logically! We're all looking on Eric Tsang, we're giving Eric face. Astrid Chan, I practically don't remember her!"

Astrid responded via SMS: "I have already said everything I had to. Justice is in the hearts of the people. If you have any issues, you can contact Lai Shan from the membership group."

TVB announced their newly launched GOTV on demand service for a low monthly subscription fee of HK$59 or HK$499/year. Subscribers can watch their favorite TVB series classics via the internet; the shows can also be viewed on smart phones and tablets. Yesterday Charmaine Sheh, Tavia Yeung, Kenneth Ma, Myolie Wu, Ron Ng, Eliza Sam, Sisley Choy attended the launching ceremony to promote the new service and got to try it for free. Charmaine wanted to rewatch her old series such as Flying Fox Snowy Mountain and listen to her past "chicken voice". Myolie wanted to rewatch her first series The Awakening Story. Tavia said she wanted to watch many of TVB's old classics. TVB General Manager (Cheng Shin Keong) denied using GOTV to counter Ricky Wong's HKTV. "Actually its indirect, they (HKTV) are free, but we're a fee-for-service. (Will you give out a free pass to Mr. Wong?) We're helping advertisers promote. If Mr. Wong wants to be our client, we will give him a discount too."

Earlier a magazine reported Charmaine "flirtatiously" tried to "pick up" Kenneth Ma while they were shooting in Singapore. Charmaine joked: "Don't make it sound so bad. Using 'pick up' is not civilized, use the word 'pursue'! He's the one pursuing me! (Is he really pursing you?) No, it was just that in the mini movie there was some feel. (Kenneth said he's not at a high enough level to request for kiss scenes!) He's just too modest. He's at a very high level, we had sparks in our collaboration. (Kenneth had been dubbed TVB's 'seun poon'?) He is a seun poon! (Kenneth is a 'male god'?) He is quite pro and a gentleman. (Have you two got a deep understanding of each other?) That serious? Haven't had time." Charmaine exposed Kenneth ought to have a girlfriend.

Kenneth: Charmaine has 80% of an Ideal Partner

Charmaine will be collaborating with Raymond Lam in January. Since Raymond has a girlfriend now, will she keep her distance to avoid awkwardness? Charmaine expressed she can get into her character. Earlier Charmaine had a slipped disc condition and caused numbness, she expressed her condition is getting better now: "I'm not numbed 24 hours anymore. Although there are quite a bit of action scenes in the new series, TVB arranged a stunts double for me, but I hope to do the scenes myself as much as I can."

As for Kenneth, he also responded to his rumor with Charmaine. He laughed and said the media is giving him face. "Of course, she's so good. (How are you going to attack?) No, not qualified yet. (Charmaine said you are at a high level!) She has 80% of the qualities of my ideal partner, the other 20% is because my career is not as good as her is and I don't make as much as she does. (You two aren't young!) Age is not the issue in marriage, just as long as the two parties are in love."

Tavia's Direction is still Unknown, TVB is her First Choice

It was rumored Tavia Yeung's manager Garly Chan decided not leave TVB. Will Tavia be renewing her contract then? She said: "We've been discussing all along. I don't have anything to announce yet. (Is your manager staying?) I personally hope she does, many TVB artists love her too. (How high are the chances of you and your manager staying together?) Of course it would be best if we stay together, but I first have to finish discussing my own direction. In TVB, I hope for new developments, try new things and get more jobs. (Try out singing or movies?) I am not good at singing, but I do want to have some time to do other jobs. I also don't want to concentrate entirely in Mainland either because I want to have time to take care of my mother in HK. I personally think TVB series can really influence the market, and is very influential to me personally. TVB is my first choice after all and there is still some time left in my contract, no need to worry. (Asked Him Law for advice?) Asked many people for advice, I want to talk to my mother the most."

A good role is hard to get, Nancy Wu is finally getting promoted by TVB and had been given many great roles. In the past year she had swept several "Best Supporting Actress" awards and her acting has been recognized. In her acting career, she had encountered many good partners, where she learned and gained experience from each and every one of them. Nancy is always striving for continual improvement and breakthrough in her acting. Best Actress is her next goal.

Nancy has been silently plowing through in the industry for over 10 years. She puts her heart into each and every one of her roles. The first 6-7 years after her debut, she frequently portrayed a villain, a mistress or other despicable roles. Then when her past relationship with the 'seun poon' Kenneth Ma surfaced, many thought Nancy wasn't good enough for him. "I thought, this is a person's destiny. Since I've been in the industry, producers gave me all the roles I have had. In the past, I had many despicable roles, but those roles had a lot of development. I had the opportunity to really train my acting skills. When you are a newcomer, you get excited no matter what role you get. As for some of the negative news, you said it caused a huge impact on me. Well, I think at the time it did affect me to some extent, but people eventually forget about it because your performance will cover some news."

She's exactly right. In 2012 she was finally recognized, she won the "Best Supporting Actress" award for her mute female boxer role in Gloves Come Off, and in last year's popular series Triumph in the Skies II[i], she made another breakthrough and caught a lot of attention as Coco, the surrogate mother. Based on her role Coco, she was again the Best Supporting Actress titleholder at the Astro's Malaysia TVB Star Awards. Coco in [i]Triumph in the Skies was Nancy's first role ten years ago, and ten years later she gets to play this role again. To Nancy, Coco is absolutely very meaningful and significant. "I could finally feel how important it is to have a likeable role. Haha, that was a very good start. I tried my hardest to let the audience know what I'm trying to do."

Different sparks created when collaborating with different artists. In Nancy's recent series Coffee Cat Mama, she plays a step-mother who frequently competes with Michelle Yim's character. In the series, Nancy replaces Michelle's role as Eliza Sam and Regen Cheung's mother. Nancy learned a lot from this senior, she carefully watched Michelle's acting style and stole some tips from her. This time, Nancy and her good partner Vincent Wong play best friends from childhood. She and Vincent have lots of chemistry and sparks. They shared their experiences with one another. Nancy has worked with many artists, such as TV King Wayne Lai, whom had brought her a lot of practical acting experience. She expressed Wayne is truly a qualified senior, she observes him whenever she doesn't have to film and if there were anything she didn't understand, she did not hesitate to ask him for advice.

Force Kissing Kate Tsui Felt Strange

In the entertainment circle, there is heavy competition among newcomers. Nancy is fortunate to have had a smooth sailing career and understands the principle of not falling behind. She expressed she has filming to do everyday and new jobs everyday. She will do her best in performing each of her roles well. She hopes to improve continuously on her acting. Last year, she completed a new series Midas and again made a breakthrough. In the series, she has to portray a lesbian and had an one minute force kiss with Kate Tsui. Nancy expressed usually she does have light kisses with her female friends, but she had never forced kissed a girl the way she had to in the series. She frankly expressed felt more nervous than kissing a guy. It was very strange feeling and joked Kate probably didn't feel any better, therefore this scene was indeed one of her most memorable ones. Nancy laughed and said Kate has thick lips, so it felt pretty nice kissing her. Also, Nancy guest starred in Tiger Cubs II as a cold-hearted murderer, which was another challenge for her as well. Nancy saves up all of her acting experiences and in the new year, she hopes to try more different types of roles and will make Best Actress her goal. Later this year, she'll be starting on a new series Business War in which she will play the first female lead. Nancy said: "I hope 2013 will be my last Best Supporting Actress nomination. Still in 2014, I can make more improvements and its not that I want to get any award in particular, but I will really put the effort into my work and if I get a Best Actress nomination, I'll be really pleased."

Boyfriend's Talents Are Most Attractive

With her career and love life going smoothly, Nancy has been dating her boyfriend Patt Sham, who works in advertisement for nearly two years. Although Nancy is very busy with her work, she's still frequently spotted by the media spending time with her boyfriend. Nancy expressed because of her boyfriend's job, he has become good friends with many artists in the industry, therefore he understands an artist's work environment. They mutually accommodate one another to keep a stable relationship. When speaking of what she admires about her boyfriend? Nancy smiled sweetly and expressed her boyfriend's artistic talent attracted her the most. The couple get along very well. Does she see her boyfriend as her lifetime partner? She frankly expressed every time she's in relationship, she always hope it lasts long, but at this point in time she does not have plans for marriage, work comes first. She laughed: "2013, it was rumored 4-5 times that we were getting married, I'm happy to see everyone wants me to get married faster, but I'm currently concentrated on my work."

Last year Joel Chan and the 'Gambling King' Stanley Ho's daughter Florinda Ho two year relationship ended. He instantly turned into a man with "four losses", he didn't have a girlfriend, didn't have jobs, didn't have money and was out of shape. Recently he's been actively working out to lose the weight and prepare for his comeback TVB series produced by Lee Tim Shing. Within three months, he lost 30 pounds.

Last night Joel accepted an interview on Scoop and admitted he disappointed his family and friends. He wanted to apologized to everyone: "I fell down, and I must get back up slowly. There should be some experiences in life in order for one to grow and mature. Before there were some things including my relationship I didn't handle well, which disappointed my friends, family and colleagues. I owe them all an apology. I also want to thank my family, friends and TVB for giving me the opportunity. In 2014, I will place my work in first place!"

Asked if he's lost hope in love? Joel expressed that is the future, but there is not a shadow that was left behind. "It wasn't my first time in a relationship. A romance is between two people. Third parties will not understand. Must rely on yourself." Joel said he won't ask that people like him, but he will do his best on his own part and hope his family won't have to worry about him again.
