Regarding Aarif arrested for drinking and driving, the executive (Wong Hoi Man) of his company Amusic confirmed: "It is the truth. After he completed the show, Amusic's car dropped him off at his home, but for the details of the story, I will have to first get a better understanding." Mr. Wong expressed Aarif has never had a habit of drinking or smoking, before his performance he was very stabled and certainly did not drink. He said: "After the show, perhaps he happily had a little alcohol with the backstage crew, that won't be strange."
That night, Aarif participated in a concert sponsored by a wine company. He performed with his guitar and sang live on stage, which got very heated response from the audience. Feeling high, Aarif said: "People ask me why I'm not as open when I'm doing the same type of concerts? It is because I'm not in Hong Kong, I'm only this open when I'm in Hong Kong. I want to sing a song for everyone, it is my baby's baby called Still." While performing, he started asking the audience if there is any wine, one person from the audience passed him some water. He quickly took a big gulp to clench his thrist.
Later, Aarif and Korean singer TIM duet I'm Yours. Backstage, Tim expressed in his language: "Koreans are truly tall, in the future I will force my kids to eat more Kimchi." The two playful young men were pretending to be father-son: "Daddy Daddy, it's so spicy!", "Then do you want to grow up tall? You will just have to eat spicy too." This gave everyone a good laugh.
