Wong Cho Lam, Louis Yuen, Johnson Lee, Toby Leung, Ella Koon, Aimee Chan, and Christine Ng took part in the TVB anniversary series SUPER SNOOPS promotional event yesterday. Although lead actress Liza Wang was absent, she pre-recorded a video clip expressing she has great confidence for this series. At the event, TVB presented The Gods with ‘TVB Anniversary Sauce King Group Award’, each of them received either black bean sauce, oyster sauce or soy sauce ‘awards’. The Gods (‘Fuk Luk Sau’) all estimate that the TV ratings will peak at 40 points and the online views will reach 1 million. They modestly expressed that they will leave the awards for Steven Ma, Moses Chan, Bosco Wong and Michael Tse. When asked if they’ll be afraid the group of TV Kings will feel unhappy that they said this? The Gods said: “No, they will probably be upset for one night at most. In fact, it doesn’t matter whoever gets TV King, the most important is we all flourish.”
Christine Kuo and Wong Cho Lam are paired up again. Christine expressed she is fortunate that they don’t have to kiss again. When asked why she’s afraid to kiss Cho Lam? She said: “He has a girlfriend now, it’s not too convenient. Last time when we had the kiss scene, I didn’t know they were dating, but now it will be a little awkward.” Louis joked that he got to kiss Aimee Chan much earlier than Moses, and felt sorry for him. Ella Koon was dressed like a ‘Ma Jeh’ (maid) to the promotion and was asked if she and her Western boyfriend will undergo a ‘lightning marriage’ like the current trend? She laughed: “I plan just not marry, but only for today. Marriage is not about following a trend, it is an important event in life. It should be decided at the right time and place. My boyfriend is just mixed, he is not a Westner, so I don’t plan to do a lightning marriage.”
