Yesterday Joel Chan participated in the Standard Chartered 10km (6 miles) Marathon, starting from Island Eastern Corridor and ended at Victoria Park in Sai Wan. It took Joel 49 minutes to complete the marathon, the competition required challengers to complete it under an hour. First time participating and got such good results, he was excited.
Joel reveals that on the day of the competition, he woke up at 3am, having coffee and bread to fill his stomach. After 1 hour he arrived at the scene to prepare, he smiled and said tat he's very satisfied with the results, he expressed: "It took the person in the lead 34 minutes to complete it. Actually I'm not considered slow, but next year I am thinking of partcipating in one next year that is doubled the distance of this one, I have confidence I can handle it."
