Her new love interest is Owodog, a member of Taiwanese group Lollipop F.
The 30-year-old singer was said to have fallen for Owodog because he looks like Edison – a person she was deeply in love with.
Recently, Gillian took time off to attend the launching ceremony of Lollipop F's new album launch.
She also flew to Taiwan to watch the film You Are The Apple of My Eye, which features Owodog, to show her support.
Gillian has also gone to the boyband member's house, a close friend of Owodog disclosed.
Although Gillian wanted the relationship to blossom, Owodog still treated her as a friend.
The 28-year-old said he did not invite the Hong Konger to Taiwan.
"I read on the Weibo post that Gillian wanted to watch this movie, so I told her that if she comes to Taiwan, I would treat her to the movie.
"I never imagined she would actually come. She really is a cute and loyal friend." Owodog also denied rumours that Gillion has been to his house.
