TVB Chairman Sir Run Run Shaw and Vice-Chairperson and Board Member Manager Mona Fong attended the 2011 Sir Run Run Shaw Awards Ceremony last night. The two appeared hand-in-hand, as loving as ever. However, the group of TVB executives like Stephen Chan and Mark Lee did not appear, seems like they purposely went into hiding due to the recent turbulence. A reporter asked Mona if she was worried about the poaching crisis, she just answered: "Thank you" and maintained a smile.

It was said that Mona only appeared so calm and pleased completely because TVB first line Siu Sang and Fadans like Moses Chan, Wayne Lai, Sheren Tang and Jessica Hsuan were met by long contracts, thus making it hard for them to leave. Also after the 'poaching crisis' started, the executives unexpectedly joined forces to counteract the 'enemy'. Mona Fong felt extremely pleased to see this happen.

According to a news source, TVB is also actively promoting the second level group of artists to take the flag. The five targeted Siu Sang and FaDans includes: Fala Chen, Myolie Wu, Kate Tsui, Linda Chung, Aimee Chan, Kenneth Ma, Ron Ng, Ruco Chan, Evergreen Mak and Raymond Wong. It was said the group will be taking part in the 2012 TVB grand productions including: War and Beauty 2, The Prominent Family, The Great Eunuch, Empress Lu, The King Makers, 36 Hours On Call and Triumph in the Skies II. TVB is clearly paving the backup route in case the first line Siu Sang and FaDans decide to leave the company. TVB will be holding their 2012 Sales Presentation in November as a cannon to 'fight the war'. For the first time, TVB will send out the two Production Directors Catherine Tsang and Tommy Leung to monitor the promotional clip shootings in order to ensure high quality clips could be used to fight Ricky Wong.

Last night, Carol Cheng (Dodo) served as the MC at the awards ceremony, although she did received the poaching call, Dodo expressed she definitely will not leave TVB: "I have been with TVB for 30 years already. I am treated well here, lots of series and hosting opportunities were given to me. There were many things I didn't want to do, and I didn't have to. The degree of freedom at TVB is high, I had a pleasant collaboration with them. TVB is like my second home. (Did you respond to Ricky Wong?) I won't, it is great here. I will definitely not think about other TV stations." She also urged the other artists to be of one mind: "You signed a contract, TVB will only promote you if they know your heart is with them."
