It has been quite a while since Janet Chow appeared on TV, after her last programme "Little B's Big Task" aired in July last year.

The former beauty queen, who has been busy focusing on her children's apparel business, allegedly has plans to terminate her contract with TVB, after she was spotted in a serious meeting with TVB Executive, Virginia Lok, in TVB City recently.

However, as reported on Mingpao News, the actress has dismissed such notion, saying that she has no plans to leave the company for other stations.

Janet stated that due to her busy schedule, she and Miss Lok have decided to change their form of cooperation as not to affect the company.

Meanwhile, the actress, who was spotted with a bump in her belly, was asked if she was currently two-month pregnant.

Without denying it, Janet replied, "Thank you for the blessing. I will tell you when there's an opportunity."

Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) attended the event as a model and expressed that the models were very professional to change clothes behind the stage without any embarrassment. Aimee's second pregnancy was planned

Though claiming he was not motivated by money when deciding on making TVB's upcoming series "Lord of Shanghai", movie star Anthony Wong was infuriated when he was asked to pay for his own accommodation in Shanghai for the on-location set of the upcoming series.

According to On CC News, the actor recently expressed his displeasure upon finding out that he had to pay the incremental difference due to his decision to check into a five-star hotel.

Anthony allegedly did so after finding out about TVB's policy in booking rooms. Reportedly, TVB only book rooms at three- and four-star hotels for on-location shoots, and will not pay for the accommodations of the artiste's personal assistant.

Anthony, who was used to better accommodations, expressed his dissatisfaction not only for the fact that he was given a cheap 'mosquito-infested' room, but also because he could not share the room with his female assistant and therefore needed another room that he must pay for himself.

Upon checking into a five-star hotel for his own convenience, Anthony was told that he will have to bear the incremental difference.

"I am staying in Shanghai for more than a month and it would cost me over HKD 70,000. How can I bring that much money with me to travel?" said the actor.

The actor had also refused to attend shooting until the accommodation issue was settled and only resumed filming after the bill was paid.

Asked to comment on the issue, EEG manager Mani Fok, who declined to respond about how they decided to pay the hotel bills, defended Anthony and said, "It's a normal thing for a first-line actor to expect five-star accommodation, business class flight, and the presence of a personal assistant."

Raymond Wong's assistant recently confirmed that the TVB actor, who was recently diagnosed with Behcet's Disease, has been discharged from the hospital on 18 September.

According to Oriental Daily News, the actor's condition has slightly improved and he was allowed to leave after nearly two weeks of hospitalisation.

Reportedly, Raymond's condition was quite worrisome when he was first admitted. Aside from not being able to eat or drink, the actor had to depend on saline drips and needed assistance to move around.

However, his assistant Ms. Lee recently assured that Raymond's condition is slowly getting better each day. He is now allowed solid foods and can walk without any help.

Ms. Lee also stressed that though Raymond was diagnosed with Behcet's Disease - an autoimmune disease that can lead to inflammation throughout the body, he was lucky to only suffer from throat ulcers and blurriness, unlike known severe cases where vital organs are at risk of damage.

No information has been revealed as to when the actor will return to work. Raymond had already withdrawn from the upcoming pirate drama "Cheung Po Tsai" due to his illness, and was replaced by Tony Hung.

After disappearing from the public eye for more than three months after her affair with Hong Kong director Oxide Pang was exposed, Liddy Li was spotted with her ex-boyfriend last Friday in Hong Kong.

The two spent more than 40 hours together including dinner at The News Room Diner. Her ex, who coincidentally looks like Oxide, was also seen giving her a kiss on her hand. They then retired to the actress' apartment, which was reportedly rented by Oxide previously for their rendezvous.

The couple, who have seemingly reconciled, went on another date the next afternoon where they were seen behaving intimately. It is believed that Liddy has decided to make a clean break from Oxide.

Hong Kong singer-actress and prominent theatre performer Joyce Koi recently dismissed rumours saying that she had a mental breakdown due to work and financial pressure.

According to Mingpao News, previously, Hong Kong tabloids reported that Joyce had a breakdown trying to balance her hectic schedule – filming TVB's "Romanic Repertoire" and simultaneously managing her Cantonese opera troupe.

The tabloid also published a photo of the actress looking haggard while rehearsing her script on set to prove that Joyce was indeed stressed out by her job.

In response to the reports, Joyce, who attended a press conference announcing her upcoming musical play, "Scars of the Sea" recently, stated, "It's all fabricated. That day, my assistant was reading the script with me, but her face was cropped from the photo. At the time, my waist was in pain, so that's why I was the way I looked."

"But if that's how they want to portray me, there is nothing that I can do," said the actress.

When asked if she was indeed stressed out with work, Joyce replied, "Of course I am, but that's because I am passionate about my work!"

In regard to rumours saying that Joyce has been having trouble managing her troupe's finances, Joyce said, "The way the article is written is as if the writer is sleeping under my bed every night. I won't say much about it because it's a private issue. All I can say is that I have hired a professional to look over the troupe's finances."

Moses Chan (陳豪) attended an activity and joked that his son, Aiden grew up very quickly. He said: "With A blink of an eye, he already grown up and that is fast. He is not even one year old but only 9 months old. He maybe become one year plus when I tell u again."

Artiste, Sharon Chan (陳敏之), accepted an interview from radio station to promote new series and when mentioned about Sammy Leung (森美) rejected the filming role earlier, she expressed concern for her good friend and said: "Earlier, he did film some scenes and I feel depressed when he rejects the filming. I wonder what happens that makes him to quit acting for the role. I am so worried." Sharon disclosed she did give some health products to Sammy at his house downstairs and they met for dinner together after he rejected the filming. Sharon discovered he was very healthy and even better than before.

After being romantically linked to actress Ankie Beilke and Linda Chung, Ruco Chan is now rumoured to be dating Chinese actress Katy Kung.

As reported on HK Channel, speculations of their relationship sparked recently when it was reported that the "All That is Bitter is Sweet" actor has turned down an offer to appear at a Buddhist function and has chosen to go on a date with the 24-year-old actress instead.

On 9 September, the two stars were spotted having a meal at a hot pot restaurant, along with good friends Matt Yeung, Jason Chan and Sarah Song.

Though they were observed to be enjoying each other's company, both Ruco and Katy's mood changed when they noticed the presence of paparazzi. Ruco hurriedly left the premise with Katy without finishing his meal.

Allegedly, Ruco pursued Katy after failing to court Linda, his co-star in both "Brother's Keeper" and "All That is Bitter is Sweet" due to her relationship with martial arts actor Phillip Ng.

However, when asked to address the rumours, Ruco denied that he and Katy are in a relationship. "We are only friends. It's impossible for me and Katy to be together."

Hong Kong actress Carman Lee recently revealed that she lost RMB 1 million (approximately USD 162,591) in a phone scam in China.

As reported on Apple Daily, Carman disclosed that the incident happened to her manager Ali, who received a call from a person claiming to be an official and saying that Carman was suspected of money laundering and drug trafficking.

The person also provided a telephone number of the Security Bureau for her to call, and after failing to get through to the number, Ali then received a call from a person who identified himself as an investigation officer.

The person requested Ali to log on to a website that showed her the accurate details about Carman, including passport number and date of birth, and told her that the actress would be arrested the moment she arrived in Beijing.

After being asked to assist in the investigation, Ali followed the instructions of the so-called investigator, only to realise that all of Carman's savings were stolen from her account not long after.

The actress revealed that she has already made a police report, and reminded everybody not to fall victim to such a scam.

"A lot of people said that it would be hard for me to get my money back, but I do harbour some hope. I really wish the police will be able to arrest the criminal and return my hard-earned money to me," she said.

However, Carman did not blame Ali for the mistake, saying that she has now learned from the experience to handle her finance on her own in future.

Three days ago, Niki Chow (周麗淇) attended an activity and when talked about her mainland series, The Virtuous Queen of Han (衛子夫) was popular, Niki expressed that because her popularity was increasing. She said: "Next week, I am going to shoot for the cover and accept the interview for acting as well. This is normal and hope this will be the way too."

Niki expressed that she wished to invest in property in Shanghai. But all the time, she wished to live in Hong Kong. When asked whether she and her boyfriend, Jeremy Tsui (徐正曦) bought the property together, Niki laughed and said: "He buys for me and I have it for myself too. It is a win win situation."

Artiste Ron Ng (吳卓羲) has been currently busy filming the new series, Lord of Shanghai (梟雄), and disclosed he had no time to date and his mother was anxious to have grandchildren. He said: "My mum asks me if I think of having children and it did cross my mind. I may get married suddenly. She tells me she wants grandchildren as I am the only son." All their friends have partners already."  Ron disclosed he will be filming series in Mainland China soon and said: "I am not sure about the details but it is a modern romance series. (The lead?) Ron expressed he was a filial son and will celebrate festival with family together if he could. He said: "I am single and no girlfriend to celebrate festival together. I will stay in Hong Kong to celebrate festivals with family as I spend too little time with them."

Bosco Wong Chung Chak, Stephy Tang Lai Yun, Rose Chan Ka Wun, Timmy Hung Tin Ming and Tina Shek Tin Yan two nights ago attended the film GOLDEN BROTHER (NAM YUN NG HOR YI KUNG)'s premiere.
