Macau representative Sofia Paiva rejects to compare with Juliette Louie: We represent different places and contests
Asking if she feels prettier than Miss Hong Kong, Juliette Louie (雷莊𠒇) as the public compare both of them, Sofia says: "I do not feel it that way as I watch her interview before and she looks glamorous. I believe she is trying hard to learn Cantonese and know how to talk better now."
Wing praises Juliette looks gracious and is full of confidence during the beauty contest: "Confidence is another beauty and we should learn from her." Sofia rejects the comparison to Juliette again: "We represent different places and contests. (How to handle the negative rumours and stress if you are Juliette?) I will change if I am her after reading the comments and hope everyone will accept me gradually."

As the winner, Juliette is criticised for being not beautiful and poor in Cantonese by the netizens, she says: "I am aware of it but it is others' opinions. It does not cross my mind and I am happy with my smiles. I am ambitious and wish to venture into Hollywood. I know I am not the most beautiful but do not want to undergo any changes. (Netizens suspect foul play?) It is normal for the judges to choose this time and they are professional. They are in the showbiz for many years and can see who has the most potential. I believe it is a right method."
