Maggie Cheung (張可頤) acts as the spokesperson for beauty event on 28 June and discloses that she needs to act from 20 years old to 50 years old for her role character in new series filming in Foshan lately. She feels tremendous pressure as she needs to maintain her skin and make her age "frozen".

As many ladies turn to fine-tune method to make themselves look younger, Maggie says: "I am worried about matching scenes and insufficient time for me too. I need to manage my body figure first as I want to wear bikini and maintaining a happy mood and diet is my method to keep me younger. The character is the most important and everyone has different opinions. As for me, natural beauty is the best and safety is the most important. Anyway, I lack of courage to try it."

Maggie Cheung (張可頤) taught culinary lessons at a Secondary School and showed how to make sponge cake to the parents and students. She expressed she had no movies to film currently and busy with managing her work: "It is similar to communication between parents and students. The parents feel it is hard to teach their children while the kids dislike talking about their problems. I will be busy with writing script and filming shows later and get my old colleagues to help."

A few days ago, artiste Eddie Cheung (張兆輝) was filming series in Mainland China and the drama, Swan Dive for Love (北上廣不相信眼淚) starring Maggie Cheung (張可頤) and him received good reviews. Eddie Cheung expressed it was a fresh feeling to film in Mainland China. Initially, he had problems to communicate with the crew team but worked happily with them after that. When mentioned about his filming partner, Maggie Cheung, he said: "It is a fresh feeling and this is my first time working with her despite seeing her at television station before." Maggie explained "We must not ignore mood disorder, we need to seek medical help as soon as possible. Artists experience mood swing, up and down and it is very easy to suffer emotional disorder. I usually do exercise, yoga and listen to music to get emotional stability. I don't get into the role I play in real life." Maggie has been hosting some TV programmes, she won't be filming any series in the next two years. She explained "I haven't come across a script to my liking, therefore, I won't be doing any drama in a year or two. I take my time to do something for the community and the church".

Mother's Day is considered an international big occasion. While everybody was posting the photos with their mothers, Maggie Cheung (張可頤) wrote her thoughts about the Mother's Day and other holidays on her blog: "I am thinking how to celebrate Mother's Day, Father's Day and Valentine's Day and we should care more about filial piety or love? Is it because we are used to these 'business' ocassions and must post our photos on FB/ WB which is then considered big occasions? If we can love or being loved everyday, why we should exaggerate the occasion? Anyway, it is over and one feels sad if one cannot love any longer."

Maggie Cheung had once posted a photo showing off V-line abs, and stirred up speculation on whether the person in the photo with those V-line abs was her? Unfortunately, the answer was just as disappointing as Myolie Wu's "I found him!" Maggie laughed: "I wish! I hope one day I can lift up my shirt and show off a little." We believe Maggie doesn't just have a nice body figure to show off, but she can also show off her acting skills. After leaving TVB, Maggie has gained more than she lost. Mr. Wong at HKTV's contract had 10 hours set for resting time, earlier when I was filming Hakka Woman, he was able to fulfill that promise. In April, I will be filming another modern series with HKTV. I'm not worried the series won't have any place to broadcast because the internet is the future broadcasting platform."

In the past, Maggie just knew how to be materialistic to please herself, but now she says: "I was young before, I saw myself working so hard, so I would go shopping to make myself feel better. One time, I swiped my credit card so much I went over the limit. I didn't realize until much later that my life before was just so dry and dull." Currently still single, Maggie never liked people asking so many questions, but after getting bombarded by questions, Maggie finally admitted she had a pursuer, but was unwilling to disclose the details of that person. Rumour has it that while TVB is welcoming home their runaway artistes from HKTV, the company may not be as forgiving to certain stars, like gossip magnet, Maggie Cheung Ho-yee.

According to Oriental Daily website, the actress, who used to be one of the top actresses of TVB, fell out with the company in 2012, when she did not attend the promotional events for her series, "The Last Steep Ascent".

Sources claimed that the actress was acting difficult, and allegedly demanded a TV Queen award in exchange for a contract renewal. However, the company turned down her request as they had decided to implement a one-vote-per-person system that year.

Insiders stated, "TVB intended to create transparency to retain public interest, so it is believed that the company hesitated about negotiating with Maggie."

Other stars that allegedly may not be welcomed home by the company include Yoyo Mung, who was not very well-received by viewers in the first place; Felix Wong, who has been very vocal in criticising TVB; as well as Frankie Lam, who is known for his outspokenness.

However, when asked about the rumours, TVB Executive Virginia Lok dismissed such notions, saying, "TVB has always maintained a positive relationship with its artistes. These are pure speculations."

It was rumored back in the day Maggie Cheung demanded for the TV Queen title in exchanged for a contract renewal with TVB, but that didn't work out and her chances of returning to TVB declined significantly. It was also said she just purchased a new home, but now that HKTV failed to get their free-TV license, she's now unemployed and has no money to pay for her mortgage. Yesterday Maggie wrote a letter to fans and shared it on Weibo. She denied all the rumors and explained her thoughts.

Maggie expressed in the letter that she still has options. She has the courage to do the things she believes are worthwhile and meaningful. "I have never publicly defamed or criticized any individual, any corporation or entity. Of course I'm talking about TVB. As a Hong Konger and a member in showbiz, because of acknowledgement and intuition, I must and absolutely support and defend this belief."

Maggie finished off the letter with: "Teardrop is not because I'm unemployed, not because I have regrets, not because I have no money to pay for mortgage, not because I cannot pay for family expenses, but because my heart and my warm-blooded colleagues' hearts are broken together!"

Maggie Cheung is currently busy shooting CTI's new series Hakka Women in Donggaun. She took some time off to attend skincare brand Sulwhasoo's evening banquet. She reveals the filming process has been going smoothly and she's having a good time. She's not only in a good mood, but also getting more and more spirit as she films. It was said Maggie's a 'traitor' and TVB has cut her off? Maggie's eyes widen in reaction, she said: "Wah! That's scary! I don't think so, TVB is my maternal home, a place where I grew up in. At the groundbreaking ceremony of the new company last Friday, tensions were high at the event as actress Bernice Liu and Maggie Cheung were spotted giving each other the cold shoulder.
Maggie was allegedly poached to join the new company at a skyrocket price. Another actress who will enjoy such prestige will be Charmaine Sheh, who is also set to join the line-up.

According to reports, the reason for Maggie's hostility was due to fellow actress Bernice Liu, who despite being ditched by TVB last year, was signed on and given similar treatment in the new company.
On the day of the event, Maggie looked displeased as she stood next to Bernice on stage, and refused to make eye contact or any form of handshake with the latter.
At the media interviews later, Maggie proceeded to sit at the back rows despite being arranged to sit in front with Bernice.

The war between the free TV stations can happen any moment now. Ricky Wong's new television station, CityTelecom's (CTI) license will be formally issued soon. Since last year, Ricky had been poaching TVB artists and employees and because of the high degree of freedom and good pay, it was said many Siu Sang, FaDans and the Green Leaves have been considering to switch over. Among them includes TV Queen candidate Maggie Cheung, who is confirmed to move over to become Ricky's valued artist!

Maggie's series War and Beauty and Old Time Buddy are well acclaimed series, and in 2003 she was crowned TV Queen for her role as Lui Sei Leung in King of Yesterday and Tomorrow. After an unfortunate brief hiatus due to an illness, Maggie returns to TVB, but her value in the company does not compare to the past. Earlier she participated in new series Ladder to Heaven, but her limelight was stolen by the 'fresh new couple' Moses Chan and Aimee Chan. Towards the recent reports that Maggie Cheung didn't want to get marry and have children too early, so she broke off with her boyfriend. Her partner from Forensics Heroes III, Wayne, expressed he hasn't heard of the news. Asked if he would introduce a "good deal" to her? He smiled: "I don't have that capability. I personally don't have many friends." He also said he rarely talks about personal matters with Maggie.

Yesterday the event was related to exercise and household hygiene, Claire reveals last year her daughter suffered from hand-foot-mouth disease and even infected her father (Thomas Lam). TVB new series Forensic Heroes III premiered last night. The average premiere rating was 34 points and peaked at 35 points. For now, FH3 is the leader of the highest rated premiere in 2011. TVB is holding a celebration today to boost the momentum.

Lead actor Wayne Lai learned of FH3's high premiere rating and felt very happy. He believes the ratings will continue to rise, and may have a chance to reach 37 points on average. Wayne expressed if the average rating is 35 points, he will treat everyone for a meal. Earlier Wayne only had 50% confidence to get TV King depending on FH3. Asked if he has 90% confidence now? Wayne laughed: "Nope! About 80% confidence."

FH3 producer Miu Siu Ching said she felt surprised that FH3 is this year's leader of highest premiere rating.
