TVB actor, Pierre Ngo has gotten married with his long-time girlfriend in Canada! Celebrating their 16th dating anniversary, Pierre also shared his wedding news.

Pierre said that his girlfriend is not from the entertainment industry, and prefers him to keep a low-profile about their relationship. He said, “My wife grew up in overseas. She doesn’t like me to talk about our relationship, so I seldom talk about it.”

Pierre also said that they got a private wedding in Canada and did not invite any friends from the showbiz. “It was just a family meal. We are not from wealthy families, so there is no need to throw a big celebration.”

Asked if he had any plans to have baby, Pierre said, “My family does not pressurize me. My mum said there is no need to have a baby as it’s too tiring, but I am fine with anything.”

Having won the Most Improved Actor and My Favourite Male Supporting Character in 2010 TVB Anniversary Awards and TVB Star Awards Malaysia, Pierre’s acting career does not seem to take off well. The 39-year-old admitted that he once thought of switching line. He also disclosed that he had established an advertising company with his wife.

“After winning the awards, I had some expectations, but I slowly got used to the reality. If the audience don’t like you, there is no use even if you kneel down! So, I do my best, and I will work till one day, I don’t have a job. My wife supported me switching career. I once threw temper at myself when I had nothing to do. Luckily, my wife is there to support me.”

Having a martial arts background, Pierre was recently invited to star in the mainland movie, The Lost Tomb <盜墓筆記>. He is also thankful that he has the support from TVB to develop his career in China, but he will still continue to film TVB dramas, and hopes to balance his career from both sides.

Wayne Lai, Kent Cheng, Pierre Ngo, Natalie Tong, Janet Chow and Vivien Yeo attended TVB new series King Maker promotional event. It was reported Pierre is planning to marry his girlfriend in Canada this September. Yesterday Pierre explained he's going to Canada for a stage performance in September, but his girlfriend is accompanying him on the trip to visit her parents and talk about the marriage. Pierre said: "We've been dating for 12 years, and have plans to tie the knot in December. (So rushed to get married, she's pregnant?) I wish, but no she's not pregnant. We are in a stabled relationship, and already agreed to keep our marriage low-key. We won't be holding a wedding banquet, just a simple dinner with family and friends (Will your parents be going to Canada too?) No, they are getting old." It was rumored Rosy Business III is starting in March next year, Pierre hoped the news is true too and will leave everything to TVB.

When asked about the average ratings for King Makers? Wayne said: "Last week's ratings were really just average because there hasn't been much happening in the story, but it will later start getting exciting. I hope the ratings will go back up by then."

In regards to the rumored Rosy Business III, will Wayne and Sheren Tang have the opportunity to work together again? Wayne admitted he did hear about the news that the series is going to start shooting next year. In the meantime, he'll be shooting a modern series in November first. Wayne expressed he knows a lot of people are anticipating to see the Rosy Business franchise and he also hopes the third installment will really happen as well. Whether if it's going to be the original cast or not, we will have to wait until next year to find out. Will you help call Sheren Tang back to participate in the series? Wayne laughed: "I'm not qualified to do that. Of course I do hope to work with her again, and whenever I have time now, I watch the re-runs of Rosy Business. I've discovered there were at least 12 commercials during the breaks, which is just as many as during the prime time hours. I have to ask TVB to give me some commission."

[Oriental Daily] contracted producer Lee Tim Shing to ask about the Rosy Business third installment. He said over the phone: "It's made up! I am planning to start a new series in February next year and do plan to cast Wayne Lai, but not Sheren Tang! If I were to choose a female lead, I would choose a newcomer, I'm considering JJ Jia or Christine Kuo! (Retiring?) This year I'm retiring, but I promised TVB that starting next year, I'll shoot one series per year. TVB said they wanted to start one in February, their really trying to rip me off!"

'Porkchop Boy' Pierre Ngo meets his enemy, former Mr. HK contestant, Raymond Sin head on! Yesterday morning, Pierre was at Tseung Kwan O's TVB City shooting for new series Special Duties Unit. An accident occurred during the shooting of an action scene. Pierre's right knee crashed into Raymond's forehead. As a result, Pierre injured his knee and bumped into Raymond as well, both were sent to the hospital. It was nothing serious for Pierre, so he was discharged. Last night, he went back to TVB City to shoot for another series.

Since TVB's new series Special Duties Unit started shooting, accidents happened among the cast repeatedly, often injuring hands and feet. Following Christine Kuo's bump on the head at the phone booth and Savio Tsang's face injury by a plastic bullet, the guest star Pierre and Raymond Sin were at TVB City shooting a fighting scene at 4pm. It was understood that Pierre lost balance and fell on Raymond, his knee crashed on Raymond's forehead. The TVB City security called the ambulance and both were sent to the hospital for treatment.

At the hospital, Pierre was in a wheelchair and said: "I injured my knee while shooting a fighting scene!" Getting injured by Pierre's knee, Raymond got off the ambulance himself and did not appear to have any scars. After a medical examination, he walked out of the hospital himself.

At approximately 7pm, Pierre left the hospital and expressed that no bones were broken based on the X-ray. A detailed report is needed to determine if his muscles or ligaments were injured. The doctor wrote him a doctor's note for him to rest, he said: "Ok! Ok! I have to go in for physical therapy. Thank you, I will go for a follow-up!"

Stephen Chan had been suspended from work for half a year by TVB. The day before, it was announced that he's returned to work in his position as the GM. Many behind-the-scenes employees and artists welcomed him back, but it was also rumored that a number of artists are worried that Stephen will calculate the old debts, so there are people happy that he's back, while some people aren't.

This year's nominees for "Best Supporting Male and Female Character" awards Pierre Ngo and Nancy Wu attended an event yesterday and were careful in their responses. Pierre answered like he's a machine gun: "I know , I know, I know, Mr. Chan is back. I feel a little excited, but I'm just a little employee, work is normal for me." Nancy also knows: "I hope he's fine and can get back into work quickly. Wish he has a smooth career. As to the reports about 'calculating old debts', I don't know if it's true or false, so I cannot comment. I also haven't seen such situation."

TVB Anniversary Awards is around the corner, it's inevitable that both Pierre and Nancy are feel anxious. Nominated for his role as 'Porkchop Boy' in No Regrets, Pierre said: "I am only half confident because it is an intense competition, I support Dominic Lam. I'm not worried about being affected by the incident that happened earlier (the assault) because the votes are not controlled by me. There are also a lot of other factors, firstly the series hasn't finish airing yet and secondly it depends on the viewers' reactions. So, I'm just carrying a normal heart to face the awards ceremony. I haven't thought about how to celebrate." Wayne prepared a lot of red wine to celebrate? "Then I'll cook 'Brasied porkchops' for everyone to celebrate with."

Nancy is nominated for her role in Gun Metal Grey and she supports Kara Hui for Best Supporting Female Character. Nancy did not forget to do some sucking up: "She is a popular pick. Today, she is not Little Red Jeh, but is Big Red Jeh (Red = popularity) or maybe call her Golden Horse Red. She is used to getting the Best Actress awards, hope she can let me have the Best Supporting Female Character, but being able to make it into the Top 5, I'm already happy."

Yesterday TVB anniversary series No Regrets held a promotional event in Olympian City. The cast including Wayne Lai, Sherman Tang, Pierre Ngo, Raymond Wong and Fala Chen all attended. A few days ago, 'Porkchop Boy' Pierre was attacked by master Sing Ho Ying at the Colorful of Sister Fa end of filming celebration due to some 'master-student' dispute.

Wayne's only the second lead

When Wayne saw the media, he joked: "Is the main male lead (Pierre) here yet? I am just the second male lead! (Did you ask if he's okay?) I sent a SMS to him. He said that he'll be coming to the promotion today!" As for Pierre stealing the limelight, Wayne said he doesn't mind, just as long as everyone likes watching the series. Also, there was a Netizen who said Wayne's acting is a bit exaggerated in No Regrets. Wayne expressed that it's all necessary for the role and that he cannot distort the role to please audience.

Yesterday at the promotion, Pierre said he arrived late because he had to wash his wound, and said: "It's getting better. I also went to see a Chinese doctor to get his advice. The doctor said I had an injury on my trigeminal nerve, so the left side of my face is a little numb. (Have you bumped into Master Sin after the incident?) I did see him in the company earlier, but he was too far, so I didn't say hi. (Master Sin said during an interview that one should not have two masters and that he was disappointed in you?) I will not respond to this. Honestly, I am not upset nor do I plan to legal action, I just hope I can get better. (Hope he apologizes?) Doesn't matter. (And will you say "once a master, always a master" as an apology to him?) Huh!" Clearly, Pierre does not think it's necessary to apologize.

Master Sin teaches Taekwando as usual

After the incident, Master Sin's love for teaching martial arts did not change as he continues to teach children Korean Taekwando in Causeway Bay. When he spotted reporters, he ran out of the room and asked the media what they were there for. When asked about him attacking Pierre? He said: "I have nothing to say. You guys should not bother the children. (Master Chan Kwoon Tai said something?) Let him say whatever, I have nothing to say." Afterwards, he went back inside and occasionally looked through the window to see if reporters were still around.

Raymond Wong supports Master Sin

As for Raymond Wong, he also once asked Master Sin to be his master and does not feel awkward seeing Pierre at the promotion. He frankly said that he did not know about Pierre and Master Sin's relationship, but he supports Master Sin that he sets an example for him: "You can consider that I did ask him to be my master, actually master or not comes second. Most important is respect, he's my good friend, a good master."

Sheren Tang came back to HK from Mainland, she took off from the Mainland series so she can fly back and attend this promotion. As to Pierre's attack incident, she said: "I just found out about it when I came back to HK, but the incident was surprising."

Pierre Ngo's encounter an attack during a celebration at the karaoke has become the media's main focus. Yesterday afternoon, he returned to TVB city wearing sunglasses and had a bandage on his 3 stitches. Pierre accepted an interview from the media back at TVB City. After the interview, approximately 4pm, he drove back to North Point where he resides. When Pierre arrive below the building where he lives, Sin Ho Ying (Master Sin) was seen crossing the street nearby. A large group of reporters charged forward to take pictures. At the time, Sin Ho Ying was on the phone and shook his head at the reporters, signaling them to stop taking pictures. Then he went into the subway to "hide".

HK$2000 bailed out, waiting for investigation

After Pierre got back home, the media encounters Master Sin once again, it turns out that he and Pierre are neighbors, Master Sin lived in the building a block away from Pierre, looks like they do have a lot of "fate"! Master Sin was asked if TVB and the police has contacted him? He said: "No". As for the police spokesperson expressed the night before (28th), the 53 year old male arrested suspect was temporarily released on a HK$2000 bail. He will have to report back to the police station next month.

Pierre sighs when mentioning relationship with Sin Ho Ying

Yesterdy afternoon, Pierre appeared in TVB's Department of Foreign Affairs, and personally provided an explanation to the media. When speaking of his relationship with Master Sin, he sighed: "Ahh! We have an abstract relationship. If he's a master or a friend, I don't know how to answer. After the incident, I have no feeling, I didn't feel unhappy. (You two sit down and talk about it?) Actually 2-3 years ago, I contacted him, but he didn't answer my calls. At the time, I wanted to fix the relationship and be on good terms....now if we are able to be friends or not, just leave it to fate. (After the incident, Master Sin uploaded a photo with him and Raymond Lam on Weibo like they had a good time?) I feel it's strange, don't know how to explain the feeling, but I cannot comment. (If he really does get charged, will you try to defend him?) I don't know how to answer, I called the police myself....this situation is often seen in movies/series, I've played a lawyer before, but something like this happening in real life to me, is really the first time. I'll consider when the time comes."

Worried about injury, may need skin grafting

In fact, Pierre is very worried about his injury, he will have to wait until next month when he follows up with his doctor to see if he needs to undergo skin grafting to remove the scar: "There's a large possibility, I now understand why the doctor prescribed so many medications for me, turns out it's all anesthetics. After the anesthetics wear out, I feel so much pain. Now I am constantly blinking and my facial muscles are feeling numb. I stopped working too, and even turned down Leung Choi Yuen's new series. There will always be jobs, but health is the most important." After the attack, Pierre called his manager first thing to notify TVB about the incident and let them arrange his future jobs and then he asked about his injury, Pierre said: "they told me it was pretty deep. (Rumored that love sparked between you and Toby Leung?) I know her boyfriend too. That night many people accompanied me to the hospital, I can't help it if the report is written like that."

Explains what happened at the karaoke

Also, yesterday Pierre accepted Eileen Cha's telephone interview and explained what happened that night: "I was celebrating with the cast and crew to Colorful World of Sister Fa at the karaoke. I was in the middle of singing when someone threw water on me from behind, I ran to the restroom to dry up. Once I came out, there was a glass bottle that flew at me. Then Master Sin punched me, luckily I was able to block with my arm. It was a huge confusion at the time, Raymond Lam and them all came in and everyone was not happy." As Sin Ho Ying used to be his master, Pierre responded: "We never did the tea ceremony, he told me I can just call him instructor, OK, instructor, master, whatever, if I go to yoga class and if it's not suitable for me I can still change classes right?" He frankly said that he thanks his girlfriend of 10 years, and expressed that they have plans to get married, just the date is not set yet.

TVB Director of Foreign Affairs (Tsang Sing Ming) expressed that as of now, no artist is to suffer any punishment until the entire situation is cleared. Virgina Lok also expressed that the Artist Department has not had a meeting on this issue yet, nor have they received a plead call from Sin Ho Ying.

The night before, a drunken violence incident occurred injuring TVB artist Pierre Ngo. Both part of the cast to TVB new series Colorful of Sister Fa, Pierre Ngo and 'martial artist' Sin Ho Ying got into a dispute because of a 'mentor-student' misunderstanding. That night at the "finish filming" celebration for Sister Fa, the two meet and an assault occurred. Pierre was attacked by someone on his left brow ridge bone and was bursting with blood. He got three stitches and was disfigured on the spot. Last night, the police arrested a suspect involved in the case.

Recently, Pierre's popularity has been rising from his role as "Porkchop Boy" in No Regrets, but in No Regrets Porkchop Boy is always getting beat, and even in reality it is the same. The night before, Pierre attended Sister Fa's "finish filming" celebration at a karaoke bar in Kowloon Bay and was attacked. He was hit on his left brow ridge bone by someone using a broken glass cup and instantly started bleeding all over the floor. His left brow ridge was deeply wounded, Pierre wasn't able to react fast enough, he was only able to use tissues to stop the blood, madly shouting that it's very painful. As for Sin Ho Ying, who was involved in injuring someone, wanted to charge up and attack Pierre, but fortunately was stopped by the behind-the-scenes staff. Otherwise, it is definite that Pierre will be injured even more. As for the other artists who witnessed the scene, was so frightened they all became stiff and had "wah" sounds.

The cast to Sister Fa who attended the celebration includes: Charmaine Sheh, Raymond Lam, Toby Leung, Yoyo Chen, Benjamin Yuen, and the behind-the-scenes staff. Not part of the cast, Amigo Chui, also attended for fun. As this assault case was witnessed by many people, the case was passed to Sau Mau Ping District Crime Squad to follow up. Yesterday, the police went to the crime scene to investigate, taking photos and summoned the Fadan and Siu Sangs that attended back to the police station for questioning, hoping to get a better understanding of the situation.

It was understood that, Sin Ho Ying was unhappy with Pierre that even though he kept calling him master, but then turned around and asked Master Chan Koon Tai if he could be his mentor instead, Pierre even got on his knees to ask.

But, the injured Pierre didn't want to make the incident such a big deal, so he first went to report the incident to TVB executive Virgina Lok, then to a private hospital for treatment, and accompanied by his co-star also good friend Toby Leung. However, the private hospital was suspicious of Pierre's condition and rejected to admit him, so he transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (a public hospital). The public hospital, also was suspicious of the injury and had to open a file to handle it. Pierre just wanted to put it on record, but the incident is too serious, the police wanted Pierre to give a formal statement of what happened. Pierre's injury is quite heavy, affecting his nerves and was painful when he tries to look at things. His face is also starting to swell up, and it is necessary for him to get dermabrasion (scar removal) on his skin.

After a night of rest, Pierre went to do an interview with Eileen Cha and then back to TVB city to meet with Virgina Lok. At 5:45pm, Pierre was seen at the TVB canteen, in an okay mood, he had glasses on, so his injury was not seen clearly, but a white bandage was seen. Asked if he has other injuries on his body? He did not respond, he only expressed that everything is passed on to the police to handle.

Involved in an assault case, Sin Ho Ying did not treat it as anything after the incident. He even uploaded a photo with Raymond Lam on Weibo right after the celebration. When reporters called and asked him if he was the one who attacked Pierre? Sin Ho Ying stuttered: "No! (You were drunk?) I drank a lot! Are you guys mistaken? No such thing!" Sin Ho Ying then said that he has another phone call coming in and quickly switch lines. Minutes later, Sin Ho Ying came back on the line and repeatedly said he's currently working, so talk later. But he never called back after.

Yesterday the police spokesperson confirmed that the night before (11/27) at 10pm, a 38 year old male was injured on his left eye by a broken glass cup inside of an entertainment site in Wang Chiu Road. Following that incident, a 53 year old male involved in the attack, went to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to seek treatment on his own and reported the case. The 53 year old suspect was arrested and released on bail later that night.

Referred as Pierre's "buddy", Toby Leung and Pierre are very good friends and she often use "girlfriend" to introduce herself to friends. She kept saying that she just wanted to protect the recent popular and weak "Porkchop Boy". Yesterday afternoon, after the incident, Toby was at the police station for questioning until 6pm. When she was leaving, she did not respond to the media's questions. She later said over the phone: "Let the police handle it. It is not convenient for me to talk about it, but I can say that I'm heart broken for my buddy, his face was full of blood. Luckily he's fine now. I told him that he's just unlucky!" (When Pierre was attacked, how did you react?) I became stiff, I was standing right besides him. At the time I was really shocked, very nervous. I immediately went with him to the hospital, luckily he's okay."

Charmaine Sheh doesn't know what happened
Because Charmaine attended Grasshopper's concert, she was late to the celebration. She arrived at the party at midnight, and did not see what happened: "Other people told me about the incident. (Sin Ho Ying was there too?) When I got there, I didn't see Pierre or Sin Ho Ying, it was already over. (Sin Ho Ying was really drunk?) I'm not sure, but I sent a SMS to Pierre, hope he'll recover soon. (The two are on bad terms?) I don't know what's going on!" Raymond Lam and Benjamin Yuen also only found about the incident, after the fact.

The night before, Pierre Ngo, Christine Kuo and Samantha Ko attended a "Teeth Loving" event. In TVB anniversary series No Regrets, Pierre's acting has been praised, he frankly said that the role is hard to portray, so he feels encouraged by getting these praises. Last year he won "Most Improved Male Artist" at the TVB awards ceremony, he was asked if he wants to 'rise' and get "Best Supporting Male Character"? Pierre said: "Of course, but if I can make it into the nominations, then I'll think about it and also see who my opponents are. (Do you feel TVB is heavily promoting you?) TVB treats me well, giving me lots of opportunities. Earlier when I went on The Voice, and now I'm hosting, what I really want to do is sing a theme song."

Earlier Pierre, Wayne Lai and Fala Chen went to Kuala Lumper (Malaysia) to promote for No Regrets, the three of them played games and sang with the audience, they were well welcomed by the local fans there.
