Carina Lau (劉嘉玲) films In Your Dreams (以青春的名義) movie as the main lead and director. As it is Carina's first time to act as the film producer, she admits it is a big challenge and her husband, Tony Leung (梁朝偉) supports her from behind. Carina says: "Filming movie is not easy and it is difficult to achieve the best effects. I receive 3 Millions from the government and I do not receive any fees but owe many people flavours. William Chang (張叔平) and Tony Au (區丁平) are not paid too."

As she develops a brother-sister romance with 24 year old Ng Siu Hin (吳肇軒), Carina explains the reason for choosing Siu Hin is because he has the shadow of Siu Hin. She says: "He resembles the young Tony Leung and feels a little depressed and upset and it makes people want to protect him. I believe he can walk further and wish him good luck. He does not look like a newcomer and feels pressurised when facing me as he is unsure if I am hard to get along."

Female celebs like Hong Kong Carina Lau, Taiwanese pop princess Jolin Tsai and model Lin Chi-Ling are learning this the hard way.

Recently, Chinese netizens scoured the web for photos of the female celebrities and posted them for discussion under titles such as "Women will become confident seeing these" and "They're not any prettier than you".

The pictures showed that a number of female celeb looking vastly different before and after applying makeup.

Some netizens even dissed the celebs, advising them not to "put so much makeup, otherwise it feels like [we] saw a ghost after the makeup is removed".
