Eliza Sam made her first public appearance today after announcing her pregnancy yesterday.  The actress appeared at the event wearing 4 inch high heels, despite being pregnant.  She appeared in good spirits and revealed she is five months pregnant and due to give birth in April 2019.  She expressed a bit of regret for not being able to announce it to the media earlier as she was flying back and forth previously and didn’t have a chance to tell her family first.  Eliza Sam also shared she didn’t find out she was pregnant until later as she thought the morning sickness was caused by flying too much and jet lag. 

When asked about the sex of the baby, Eliza Sam says, “I want to surprise myself and see how long I can wait.  When I went to get an ultrasound, I told my doctor to cover the sex on the report and then made another copy so I couldn’t scratch it off.”  As for where she plans to have the baby, Eliza Sam hasn’t decided yet.  She also expresses she wants to continue working until she gives birth and return to work after giving birth, maintaining  work-life balance.  When asked if she would rush newlywed Christine Kuo to have a baby, Eliza Sam says, “No, you can’t rush these things.”

Former TVB actress Eliza Sam has announced she is pregnant.  The 34 year old actress went on Instagram today and posted a picture with her husband holding a baby onesie.  Just a few days ago, the media was already speculating Eliza Sam was pregnant as her stomach was protruding a bit.  She told the reporters to give her some time to announce it when it was the right time.  She will be the third “Amazing Esther” to be a mother.  Grace Wong and Christine Kuo have repeatedly said they wanted to focus more on work and spend time with their husbands before having a family.

Eliza Sam (岑麗香), Tracy Chu (朱千雪) and Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) attended TVB (無綫) event on 31st March 2018 and interacted with the children well. Among 3 of them, Eliza was the favourite to the children and said: “Perhaps they treat me like a soft toy and I feel happy that they are willing to play together. I used to work with children frequently and have no stress at all as they are direct and innocent.”

When asked about her baby plan since she loved children very much, Eliza said: “I treat it as practice when playing with my friends’ kids. Having baby is better to leave it to destiny and not to give too much pressure. I am still a big child and need to learn how to take care of children. Everyone keeps telling me to have baby quickly including shopping with my elder sister. Please stop giving me pressure.”

Eliza also pointed her good friend, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and others did give their opinions: “I discover people with no kids will ask me about my baby plan but people with kids urge me not to have baby first as there is a complete change in life. But Linda shares with me the joys of having baby.”

Eliza Sam promotes Apple-Colada (果欄中的江湖大嫂) series in pigtails hairstyle on 28 February and comments her role character is different when compared to the past: "I used to act as a kind-hearted, gentle and sweet girl but will be fiercer and scold people this time. It is something new to me and I am a teacher who brings positive energy to people. For example: I scold Raymond Wong (黃浩然) for peeing at the street and pinch his breast in the first episode. (Have you scolded your husband in reality?) I will not talk about my family affair."

Eliza Sam (岑麗香) disguises as a model to exhibit different expensive watches at a press conference for luxury watch brand with other celebrities at Tsim Sha Tsui on 07 February. She says during an interview: "I feel very stressed as it is an expensive watch and the value equals to a luxury house. (Buy one for your husband?) It will take a very long time. (Tell him to buy one for you?) It is a dream. Haha."

Eliza reveals her hubby and she love beautiful watches and hopes to have a couple watch: "I do not mind it at all and love to wear couple shoes, watch and top. We tried wearing couple outfits outside before." Suggesting them to buy couple watch together on Valentine's Day, Eliza feels it is a good suggestion and her husband should be better than her in this area. She hopes to increase her creativity and have sufficient time to prepare the gift.

Eliza Sam (岑麗香) attends the finale of Heart and Greed 3 (溏心風暴3) series at a shopping mall on 19 January and expresses she returns to Canada with her husband earlier. Asking if they take the opportunity to make baby, Eliza says: "The main purpose is to visit relatives and we are not anxious. He knows I have a hectic work schedule and is very understanding. (Give him 100 marks?) Nope but nearly so that he can continue to improve. Otherwise, he will turn cocky."

Eliza adds that she needs to learn horse riding for Heart of Greed 3 (溏心風暴3) series and feels it is difficult for the human to match the tempo with the horse. Hence, she is full of praises for the horse racers.

Tyson also calls himself as a lucky person as he wins 5 digit amount in a joint investment with his friends. However, he pays a hefty fee for the lesson as he needs to clear the horse poo during a horse show previously.

Eliza Sam (岑麗香) is present at an activity related to Heart of Greed 3 (溏心3) series and asking if she has any mood disorder as her good friend, Grace Wong (王君馨) admits to suffering from depression, relying on eating disorder to comfort herself and depending on her husband to reduce the loneliness after marriage, Eliza says: "Changing a new job and going to a new environment is definitely and what matters most is to find a good friend for comfort. We need to balance our mood such as going for exercising and drawing. I love cooking too and it is a form of satisfaction from clueless to knowing it."

Eliza adds that it will be the best if the other partner can communicate, trust and give a sense of security to each other just like good friends. She admits she does not hide any secret from her husband and asking if she will tell her hubby for having any new suitors, Eliza says: "I have no suitor and will tell him everything. He is honest to me too as I know everything about him."

Eliza Sam (岑麗香) expresses she will be giving a surprise to her husband to mark their 1 year wedding anniversary at a shopping mall on 09 December. As Christmas is arriving soon, she plans to cook turkey personally and invite her friends to a party at her home.

Eliza Sam (岑麗香) watches the debut of Heart of Greed 3 (溏心風暴3) series with the cast team at dinner banquet in Tseung Kwan O. Asking if some scenes are removed due to the exposure limit, she says: "Should not be as I see bikini being aired." Eliza emphasises it is one scene only and the rest are related to relationship and has informed her husband beforehand: "I tell him everything."

Eliza also admits to turning down Baby is Here (BB來了) series and Ali Lee (李佳芯) becomes her replacement: "Yes, I have rejected it as my Cantonese is poor and need time to translate the script. I have filmed Heart of Greed 3 series consisting of 40 episodes and Apple-colada (果欄中的江湖大嫂) series with 30 episodes. I film around 10 to 20 hours daily and it is time to nourish my body now. I have applied leave from the company to take a break and visit my family in Canada during Christmas. (Making baby during your leave?) Yes, I let nature take its course and have no stress at all."

It turns out that 17 November is Eliza and the crew team holds a belated birthday celebration for her. Eliza says subsequently: "I am shocked and it is impossible that I am unaware that I am pregnant. (Any baby plan?) Let's nature take its course and I do not want to give myself too much stress." 33 year old Eliza celebrated her birthday not long ago and shared photo of herself making a wish in front of the birthday cake online on 17 November. She left a message: "Feeling grateful for growing older and celebrating another birthday. Thank you for the blessing, love and the cake. I feel special not because of my birthday but feeling lucky and getting to celebrate with nice people together. Our lives become more busy and personal time decrease as we grow older. Eliza Sam (岑麗香) wears many expensive jewellery to advertise Autumn collection for Christie's company on 01 November. The most steep jewellery should be 15 Carat pink red ruby diamond ring and it makes Eliza feeling nervous as it is her first time wearing very expensive jewellery.

As the pink red ruby diamond ring is right in front of her, Eliza says: "It is as big as my eyes. (Do you wish to have one?) It is everyone's dream and I must work harder then." She reveals that her husband gives one diamond ring to her only and already feels very contented.

Oh My Grad (老表，畢業喇！) series starring Eliza Sam (岑麗香) is currently airing and she is filming Apple-colada (果欄中的江湖大嫂) series but does not neglect her husband. Both are married in last December and some netizens upload intimate photo of them hugging sweetly. It is obvious they are a lovey-dovey couple and Eliza's husband wins compliment from the netizens for protecting her well.

Eliza Sam (岑麗香) is present at an opening ceremony of a Japanese brand cosmetic shop on 17 August. She acts as Chinese teacher in Apple-Colada (果欄中的江湖大嫂) series and treats it as the biggest challenge: "Although it is a modern series, but the dialogue resembles to ancient. For example: the Chinese idiom, Yu Bu Zuo Bu Cheng Qi (玉不琢不成器) reminds me of cutting pork and becoming pork pancake. Haha."

Eliza admits her Chinese is poor and is currently learning how to speak fluently. Asking if Tommy Wong (黃光亮) teaches her vulgarity, Eliza says: "I hear it frequently but not to the standard yet." When asked if her husband visits her during filming, Eliza replies that he insists to fetch her home despite the filming ends at midnight or early morning.

Actress Alice Chan (陳煒) is exposed for having divorce with her husband, James Yen (顏志行) 5 years ago. As Eliza Sam (岑麗香) works with Alice before, she says: "I hear about it but do not read the news. (Is she very unhappy?) We feel happy when filming together and perhaps it is a comedy theme. Alice is a very funny person. (She is taken photo for eating alone?) Huh? We are eating together. Grace completed her wedding banquet in Hong Kong a few days ago and meets up with Eliza and Leanne lately. She shares their photo on social networking website and announces they are beautiful married wives: "Yayyyy we finally can meet as Mrs Chang, Mrs Ngo and Mrs Wong. It is time to change name to beautiful married wives." It win compliments from the netizens and they are looking forward to call Christine as Mrs Lok.

As Eliza has work a few days ago, she feels unhappy for missing Grace Wong's (王君馨) wedding in US: "I have prepare the outfit long ago and request to attend my friend's wedding from the company but it turns out that I really need to work. I will definitely attend her wedding 11th July and prepare to act as her maid. Hope to attend it with my husband but I believe I do not have time to bother about him as will be extremely busy."

Eliza is willing to share the tips for applying make-up, healthy lifestyle and role image with her fans if they are interested.
