Denise Ho, who recently came out of the closet and announced that she is gay, made an appearance at Hong Kong's annual 1 July protest march, supporting the efforts of LGBT rights, Singtao website reported.

Speaking on behalf of Big Love Alliance coalition that was also co-founded by Denise together with singer Anthony Wong and other prominent activists within the entertainment industry, Denise stated, "I have always talked about requesting equal rights for gay people. Frankly speaking, we hope to be given all the usual benefits an average person would enjoy. We hope to have the same marriage and medical rights."

Denise also stated that all of the demands and requests have been printed on their flyers this time around, and together with her co-founders handed out all the copies at the Big Love Alliance booth despite heavy rain and strong winds.

Meanwhile, Anthony also spoke of same-sex marriage at the event, saying, "Although this effort may not see its success overnight, we are on the right path. The U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled that it is unlawful to ban same-sex marriage and it shows that the world is finally stepping towards true equality."

After admitting her homosexuality in front of a crowd in November last year, Cantopop singer, Denise Ho, recently revealed her dreams of becoming a mother in the next five years.

Popular Asians website reported that in an interview that was held of late, the singer admitted, "I really like children. When I was young and living in Canada, there were many Canadian couples who adopted Asian children. It's something I've always wanted to do, whether to give birth myself or to adopt."

She added, "I hope I can educate my children and allow them to have individual aspirations. As to when [I would have children], well, perhaps within five years? Or else I'll become a woman of advanced maternal age."

Earlier, it was reported that Denise had expressed her desire for Greeny Wu and Shawn Yue to donate their sperm to fulfil her motherhood dreams. When asked about it, the singer laughed and said, "I don't know. You have to understand that it's just entertainment news. I just gave an answer so the reporters can complete his job!"

However, after accidentally revealing that her girlfriend is also from the entertainment industry, the 35-year-old singer was reluctant to share more about the subject, stating, "I think I've already shared my intimate news to everyone. I still wish to retain a bottom line in my private life. I feel there is no need to reveal my private life for everyone to see."

The singers who recently declared their homosexuality are reportedly forbidden to appear on China’s public broadcasting and radio channels

Hong Kong singers Denise Ho and Anthony Wong (of Cantopop group Tat Ming Pair) were reportedly blacklisted in China after the two recently declared that they are homosexuals; the both of them are now forbidden to appear on all public broadcasting and radio channels.

According to reports, Denise and Anthony have ‘crossed the line’ after showing their support for the ‘Dare to Love’ event that celebrates homosexuality culture in Hong Kong as well as publicly denouncing national education.

Rumour has it that Denise’s request to appear on China CCTV’s popular television program Dream Choir as a guest was rejected, and her management company later found out that Leslie was being blacklisted.

When contacted by reporters to confirm the rumours, a representative from Denise's management company commented, “I have never heard of China blacklisting Denise and Anthony Wong. As for rumours of Denise not being allowed on Dream Choir, I need to check with my colleagues in China because they are in charge of arranging the schedule.”

Meanwhile, Denise who is currently filming for a Chinese commercial declined to comment on the matter.

When reporters contacted cantopop singer Anthony, he said that he is unsure if he has been blacklisted. “Earlier on, Beijing Television invited me to attend a Spring Festival program, but I turned down because of my busy schedule.”

The 50-year-old felt that he should not be suppressed for coming clean with his sexual orientation as he has not done anything unreasonable. Anthony also hoped that the rumours of him being blacklisted are untrue.

Joey Yung and Denise Ho (Hocc) have been good friends for over 10 years. Since Hocc's ex-rumored boyfriend Wilfred Lau announced his relationship with Joey in June, it was rumored Hocc was so upset she unfollowed Wilfred and some other friends related to him on Weibo. Last Saturday, Hocc announced her true sexual orientation, that she is in fact a lesbian at the Hong Kong Gay Pride Parade. Joey instantly became the media's target for interviews and the other day, Hocc ends up dragging Joey into the situation when reporters asked if Joey is bisexual? She said: "It's hard to answer!" This left Joey in a troublesome situation.

Yesterday reporters contacted Joey's manager, Mani Fok, to ask her about Hocc's comment on Joey's sexual orientation. Mani said: "Joey will not be accepting interviews right now, she is in a very bad mood! (Because of Hocc's comment?) Actually Joey respects Hocc's personal decision, and as a friend she really does support her. However, Joey's emotions has been greatly affected by the comments made in the past few days. She broke down emotionally. All her colleagues and myself are very worried about her."

It was understood, Joey suddenly disappeared for two days and isolated herself at home, refusing to see anyone. Yesterday when she found out about Hocc's bisexual comment, she lost control and cried madly at home. Mani said: "Joey is a very hardworking artist. She had always been silently plowing through, keeping her family and relationships low-key. I hope she (Hocc) will respect Joey's views of keeping her relationships low-profile. However, Ms. Ho's comment has really triggered a lot of speculations that the public has on Joey, and this caused a troublesome situation for Joey. I suggested to Joey, that she should not respond to anything related to Denise Ho. I hope Miss Ho can really treasure Joey as her friend. Don't add to Joey's stress and don't hurt her anymore."

As Hocc expressed Joey supported her to "come out" [on her sexual orientation], Mani said: "As a friend, of course Joey will respect her decision. I think this is Ms. Ho's personal decision and action. While her action may have reduced her own pressures and she finally released herself, but at the same time the pressure shifted towards Joey. I don't think this is fair at all. If she is Joey's friend, then I hope she stops mentioning Joey."

Twins hope Joey emotionally recovers soon

Joey's good friends and colleagues Twins (Ah Sa and Ah Gil) hoped she'll get better soon. Ah Gil expressed: "Denise Ho released herself after announcing her sexual orientation, I'm happy for her. But, I don't want this to be troubling Joey. I hope she can live her life the way she wants and not be affected by this issue." Ah Sa said she won't try to contact Joey right now, but she hopes the public will give Joey some space, so she can emotionally recover. Ah Sa said: "I support homosexuals, and I have many homosexual friends. I don't think 'love' has to be separated by sex. I just hope the public will stop labeling homosexuals. Artists are humans too, they need their own personal space to develop relationships too. So, for now I won't try to contact Joey, I hope to give her more space to handle her emotions. Joey is a very very good girl, she is worthy of our love."

Yesterday Denise Ho (Hocc) and Anthony Wong took part in the annual gay pride parade, Hong Kong Pride Parade 2012 along with 4,000 other people. Hocc's sexual orientation was officially made public at her participation of the parade. Hocc's parents, good friends Wyman Wong, Hilary Tsui, Edmond Leung's wife Karen and a large group of friends outside of the industry attended as well to support her. Before the parade started, Hocc was asked if she'll come out [to announce her sexual orientation]? She said: "We'll chat after this is over." Shortly after, the parade marched from Causeway Bay up to the Chater Garden in Central.

Hocc was dressed neutrally at the event and had a head full of sweat after the parade ended. After taking a break backstage, Hocc appeared on stage and performed her 'brokeback' classic Louis . Lawrence (勞斯萊斯). At one point, Hocc became emotional and tears came running down her face, she said: "Today, it is a very important day to me. After so many years of facing the media's questions and speculations, I don't think it is necessary to put a label on me or for me to explain."

Hocc expressed because of the public consultation, she believed there was a need for her to step forward, she said: "I still think there exists discrimination, prejudice and biased views. It is no longer a choice to remain silent. Every individual has so many apprehensions, I know I will lose some opportunities after saying this and there will be a lot of trouble. Actually, coming out should have been done several years ago. I just couldn't find the right time to do so. Today, in an environment with so much love, peace and toleration, I feel it is my duty and responsibility to stand up for love." Hocc then paused for a moment and took a deep breath before announcing: "I am proud to tell everyone here that I am gay." Everyone in the audience cheered and applauded in response. She has become the first Hong Kong female singer to admit that she is a lesbian. Anthony and Wyman went on stage to embrace her while singing along to "光明會". Then Hocc's good friend Joey Yung's famous song My Pride played.

Hocc got off the stage and embraced her parents. When asked if a heavy burden lifted off of her? She said: "I waited for this moment for a long time. First, I have thank my father and mother." When asked when she decided to come out? She said: "In the past few days. (How did you explain to your parents?) I know they will have unlimited support for whatever I do. Yesterday, I called my father and told him. He answered, just come out!" When asked if she first notified good friend Joey Yung? She said: "I did notify her, she said 'you do what you think is right'. (Did you tell her to come too?) No, this is very personal decision." As for the rumor that Joey went on a trip to Japan with boyfriend Wilfred Lau? Hocc coldly said: "I don't know." Hocc later expressed on Weibo, "Today I am very happy."

Joey Yung, Wilfred Lau and Denise Ho's love triangle unfolded continuous confusion. The three of them initially had many years of friendship, but since the 'Joey-Wilfred Romance' broke out, the relationship turned into a drama. Denise described her feelings as a "knife cut through her heart", and cut off her friendship with Wilfred. Regarded as the 'victim' in the whole issue, Denise finally makes a public appearance after 12 days of immerse, but refused to respond to the 'Joey-Wilfred Romance'.

Last night, Denise attended TABOO's Naughty and Naughtier Show in Macau. At 7:50pm, Denise was at the HK Macau Ferry Terminal prepared to take the 8pm ferry to Macau. Reporters surrounded her asking questions as she walked into the terminal. Asked how she's feeling now? Denise forced a smile: "I'll answer you when I get there (Macau). (What do you think of Joey and Wilfred dating?) I'll answer you in private, when I get there I'll answer you. (Are they still your friends?) Huh! Did you have dinner yet?" When asked if she'll send her blessings to Joey and Wilfred? She first did another "huh", and then smiled: "Aiya! Thanks for all your hard work. (Emotions haven't recovered?) I'm happy to see you all." When walking up the escalator, Denise saw reporters rushing over to her and didn't forget to caution them: "Careful." Then she waved goodbye to the media and got on the ferry.

When Denise got to Macau, she changed into an orange outfit, and clearly looked unhappy. She forced a smile during the pictures. When asked how she found out about Joey and Wilfred's relationship? She said: "Let me put it this way, over the last many years, I have always been low-key towards gossips, rumors or even others' relationships. I have never publicly explained anything. I know it's difficult for all of you, but I hope you all can understand me. I don't want to always respond and make everyone speculate even more, twist it more and then the issue never ends." She expressed her messages on Weibo were just her thoughts of that day, and she never thought of talking about it in public. She said: "It is very personal, I never thought the whole issue would develop into this."

Not only did Denise not send her blessings to 'Joey-Wilfred', she didn't even want to be friends anymore. When asked again if Joey and Wilfred are still her friends? She avoided the question: "At this moment, I have already gave answered everything I could. I hope you all can adopt to my silence. I know you all have many questions to ask me, but I just cannot answer you." Then, no matter how much reporters tried to ask, she repeated that she did not want to respond any further and did not want to stir up any more speculations. Finally, when asked if she found herself a new love interest? She said: "I cannot respond that much."

Singer Denise Ho Wan Si in recent years tried making movies and performing on the stage, both had good responses. Most recently Ah Si participated in the Lunar New Year film I LOVE HONG KONG 2012 (2012 NGOR OI HK HEI SEUNG GA HEI) and worked with comedy veterans like Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, and Stanley Fung Shui Fan; which made Ah Si feel very happy, Sister Mo even praised her for having comedy potential. Ah Si said that she was very dull, loved rotten gags, homonyms, only her usual cool image misdirected everyone.

Ah Si said that usually she looked very cool, so when she played comedy or more exaggerated characters everyone would say actually Ah Si was like this. Actually this was her true nature. She said, "Let me try and change to become comedy singer." In the past Ah Si made the Lunar New Year LOOK FOR A STAR (YAU LUNG HEI FUNG), but that was a romantic comedy. This was a pure comedy.

Speaking her lackluster performance at the award shows last year, would she make more movies in the future instead? She said, "Last year's performance was close to my goal, it wasn't bad! However deep inside I like making movies, but people have to ask me to first. However I would be choosy as well. (What movie would you definitely decline?) For the general public's consideration, more naked scenes I won't take. Abusing everyone would be pointless. (Yet this could break through and challenge yourself?) Ha, challenge the general public's patience? If one day I would want to retire or mess with my career, then I would do this."

Ah Si said that she took roles based on the director and the script. She would not anything that was too casual and lacked sincerity. Some pointed out that the producer this time Tsang Chi Wai was very "rotten". He often slept on the set. Ah Si defended him, "He was very serious. Although he slept on the set, sleeping didn't mean that he wasn't serious. Once after we finished one or two scenes, he immediately met with everyone to discuss them in hopes of finding even funnier spots. To me, he was a very serious director and producer."

This time in the film Ah Si had the most scenes with Bosco Wong Chung Chak. Their kiss scene on Sai Yeung Choi Street made her feel very embarrassed. She said, "That was the first scene on the first day of work. I thought the directors were deranged, the most emotional emotional scene and bed scene were shot on the first day. (Why were you embarrassed?) That was Sunday in the center of the busy city, the whole street was looking. To keep from bad takes, I kissed with all my might like a squid, so Wong Chung Chak joked that my mouth was like a suckling cup. However it was an experience. (Did you discover that his tongue was very short?) We haven't developed to that stage. This time we only used lips. I luckily did not experience his short tongue. (Too short would be hard to experience?) No matter how short it's there! I don't know, it's not up to me to experience. Leave it for Television Queen (Myolie Wu Hung Yi) to experience."

There is less than 2 months until Lunar New Year 2012 (Jan 23, 2012), thus the big Lunar New Year films are actively shooting now.

The other night at 12am, Denise Ho and Bosco Wong were shooting for 2012 Shaw Brothers Lunar New Year film on the busy streets of Mongkok. Denise appeared in a khaki jacket and black jeans for a heated kiss with Bosco, who was in a red sweater. The kiss scene attracted many onlookers surrounding the location. To avoid causing too much of a confusion, the two stars were prepared to start shooting immediately.

On location, Denise and Bosco were seen on their cell phones, happily chatting and laughing on the streets. Then Bosco handed over his cell phone to Denise for her to look at, which made her very happy. Soon after, she grabbed Bosco and gave him a passionate kiss. Although the two were kissing before a 100 pair of eyes, there was no embarrassment at all. Instead they were extremely intimate and even smiled at each other. Such a sweet scene! After several takes, the two finally completed the kiss scene.

Denise Ho's first of 4 shows HOCC HOMECOMING LIVE 2010 concert kicked off last night at Wan Chai House. The atmosphere was very lively as many entertainment circle friends went to support her including Liza Wang, Anthony Wong and Wyman Wong. Though Joey Yung wasn't seen at the concert, but Denise clearly started her concert the Joey way. Every show she will sing different songs. Besides singing, her own Cantonese and Mandarin songs, Denise also sang Taiwanese Pop Queen Jeannie Hsieh's electronic song Beep Beep Beep. For the holidays, Denise also sang several Christmas songs, afterwards she said: "Thinking about Christmas songs, reminds me of an idol." The fans then shouted: "Joey Yung", but Denise didn't hear it and revealed that the idol she was reminded of was Aaron Kwok.

Recently she suffered in pain from losing two cats. Near the end of the concert, Denise wanted to express her feelings: "In the last half year, I left HK for a moment and went to find a new start for myself. When there are down times, I would feel I am loved from my surroundings, gives me some strength to move on and know that I have lost somethings." At this point, Denise started have sobs in her voice: "Facing lost, what to do? Be unhappy? Grief? Or move forward? This is a class one must certainly have in life. I hope that my experiences can enter my songs, when one is unhappy strength can be given to them." After the show, Denise went on with an Encore and often anxiously looked at the time to avoid having to pay extra fees to the venue. Asked why Joey didn't come support her? She said: "I think she's not in HK."

When she thought about her cats that passed away on stage, Denise wanted to cry, she was helpless that she was so busy she didn't even have time to grief. She said: "The night before was difficult, when GUTGUT left, there was a lot of things that needed to be done. Had to calmly get through the period. Two days ago, I had a headache and neck pains, so I went to get acupuncture to get better for today."

Have been in the industry for over 10 years, Denise recently released her first Mandarin album. To reach for the best, she was willing to be in Taiwan for 2 months to promote. The day before, she accepted an interview from [Oriental Daily] and talked about her feelings towards the music scene. She frankly said that she once thought of giving up her singer career, she said: "Last year after my concert ended, I was thinking I'm not going to go on with singing. There was a period of time I was very discouraged, whatever I said, people didn't seem to accept it." Denise expressed that she was like this for 3 months, she said: "I felt really discouraged, constantly asking myself why I became like this."

Does not regret the unnecessary paths taken

Denise admits that she caused the people around her to worry, she said: "My company knew and recommended me a psychiatrist friend to me. Asked me if I had emotional problems." Denise exposed that she once cried at a friend's house, she said: "There was one or two nights that I was at a friend from the industry house talking and started crying. (Wyman Wong and Joey Yung didn't know?) They knew, many friends knew. They used many different ways to make me happy."

Thinking back, Denise has not regretted the unnecessary paths taken for her own beliefs. She said: "Life is not about fame or fortune, there are a lot of things that can be done. I have never regretted what I did. I am a person who has high standards and knows that I may not achieve the expected results, but it is lessons learned from experience."

Will sing homosexual themes

Last year, Denise Ho generously admitted that she's brokeback (lesbian), but recently she suddenly had a change in "personality". Had always enjoyed dressing neutrally, Denise was spotted with a man in sunglasses who resembled Hu Jun on the streets in Central. Denise and the male companion was walking together and smiling sweetly, the intimate male friend linked and had his arm around Denise.

When Denise first debuted, she was rumored with Wilfred Lau, but later she started dressing more and more neutral and had many close same sex friends such as Theresa Fu, Bobo Chan, and more. Denise once expressed that she does not like short dresses, but recently she had a sudden change in style in the recent month. Even at the last award ceremony she attended in a dress revealing her long legs, looking more feminine.

That afternoon Denise was spotted wearing matching sunglasses with the "Pirated Hu Jun" shopping in Central with 2 other friends. The two appeared quite close. The "Priated Hu Jun" was extremely gentlemen, helping Denise with the door and her shopping bags, Denise smiled sweetly back. When Denise noticed reporters were around, she did not mind and continued the intimacy with the male companion as she linked her arm to the friend's arm.
