Julian Cheung (張智霖) supports the new film, Peace Breaker (破‧局) starring his good friend, Aaron Kwok (郭富城) on 07 November and it is obvious that he has lost weight due to turning into vegetarian lately: "It is my first time trying it. (Why?) My cholesterol level is too high and I realise eating too much meat is unhealthy. I have tried eating vegetables for 1 week already and it is not bad. (Your wife, Anita Yuen (袁詠儀) is eating together with you?) Yes, for a while. (Tell your son as well?) He is not really a meat lover and I am happy with my restricted diet. (Stop having steamboat with your friends?) Eating vegetables only."

It is believed that many people have fond memories of 'Cho Ko Ko 初哥哥' and 'Chuk Kwan Ho 祝君好'. After 15 years, stylish male actor, Julian Cheung (張智霖) and TV Queen, Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) collaborated again on movie version, Return of the Cuckoo (十月初五的月光). They also established great rapport during the interview. When asked about amusing incidents happened during the filming, Julian exposed he 'removed his brief 底褲都除埋' for the sake of filming love movie. Charmaine told Julian to be matchmaker to introduce guys to her when asking about her love life.

Julian = J, Charmaine = C

J: We acted the same role but become mature together with the role in reality. It seems that I have not seen any series filmed into movie version. We filmed after 15 years and can we apply Guinness World Records (健力士世界紀錄)?

C: Kwan Ho (君好) has lots of changes. She used to be happy-go-lucky and spoilt at that time.

J: It was based on love theme and young girl's emotion previously. This time, it is focused on family and much more heavy. We are not trying to stimulate tears. If the audiences watched the series before, we believe everyone will feel emotional when seeing the same cast members have different encounters after many years of love knots.

Unforgettable when Dashing on Staircases

C: The series is re-broadcasted lately and the memories will return slowly. Our looks are different as well.

J: It will be weird if our looks are the same. Actually, I have major changes that is a dashing man now.

C: Haha! I definitely agree. The biggest improvement is Cho Ko Ko (初哥哥) gets to talk and I am unused to it in the beginning. You used sign language in the past and your voice is nice when listening to you talking again.

J: Fortunately, you mention it. 15 years ago, you did things slowly but you have accumulated enriching experiences now. It is a drastic difference.

C: Thank you for your guidance 15 years ago and most unforgettable was when you brought us to Ruins of St. Paul's in Macau.

J: In fact, it is dangerous but we were not afraid and took scooter together.

C: It is very dangerous but I trust you.

J: I cannot trust myself and what makes you to trust me? This time, I do not think about ticket sales and only want to do my part well and the rest will leave it to the audiences. I have no idea why it is successful previously and I was thinking why did it change to 'The Moonlight at the 5th of October (十月初五的月光)'.

C: Yes but it happened a long time ago and who can remember?

J: It was known as The Streets of Macau (澳門街) originally and the series became popular subsequently. It showed the amended name was good as meaningful and romantic.

J: Looking at the role again, Cho Ko Ko (初哥哥) is a good person, makes sacrifices, humorous and loves one person in his whole life. It is extremely rare and I hope to meet similar person. Cho Ko Ko (初哥哥) and I have similar characteristic and we are kind-hearted people.

C: When you are quiet? Haha! Joking only.

J: I have many things to learn from Cho Ko Ko (初哥哥) such as contributing to the family and once is not enough and based on accumulative. We will do better for the sake of family.

C: Talking about family members, it reminds me of your dog. Haha!

J: Sigh! I am thinking of destroying it as it always passes motion around the house. It is quite obedient but emotional at times...... It makes me evil when mentioning about it.

Did not Dream of Marriage

C: Initially, Kwan Ho was spoilt and only cared about dating but the god allowed major problem to happen. This time, it involves family and children. I do not have children in reality and everyone needs to grow up continuously.

J: Kwan Ho continues to search for true love and this happens to Charmaine too.

C: But I have no idea when I can find him and will tell you if manages to. I will set age limit in the past but does not now as it is over.

J: You must continue to think as one must have dreams.

C: Before 80 years old? Marriage is not mandatory and let's nature take its course.

J: Really no boyfriend now?

C: Nope and any guys to introduce?

J: I love to be matchmaker and feel happy when knowing my friends are dating. I will help you to find although unsuccessful in the past but you might be the first one to succeed.

C: Huh? No success before?

J: Haha! Sorry and I will reflect on myself.

Julian Cheung has recently denied rumours of dispute with "Return of the Cuckoo" director, Patrick Kong.

As reported on Mingpao News, the actor, who attended the Ann Demeulemeester book launch on 18 November, stated that while he would give suggestions about his character to the director and scriptwriter, he has never argued with Patrick.

"Nobody is more familiar with the character than I am, and the director values my opinion," said Julian, who reprised his role as the mute Man Cho, which he played in the TVB drama back in 2000.

Julian said that the misunderstanding might have occurred because he and Patrick are familiar with each other to the point that they have forgone all formalities in their interaction, which may look rude to others.

"As an actor, the director's ideas and thoughts should be the heart of everything," said Julian, adding that he was not affected by the rumours at all.

Anita Yuen (袁詠儀) did not appear at the filming scene

As Charmaine and Julian had some rumours while filming earlier and when asked if Anita did go to the filming scene, she replied she did not see her and said: "She does not appear on the first day of filming. (Did she appear afterwards?) Nope. (Afraid of embarrassment?) Nope and I will reject this movie if I am embarrassed."

In fact, Charmaine returned from filming in Mainland China this morning and said: "The dress is picked by the image consultant. (Will dress sexily during the TV Queen award on that day?) Beautiful is the most important."

Disclosed it was hard for Janet Chow to resist cravings

When mentioned about her good 'sister', Janet Chow (周家蔚), made announcement about her second pregnancy, Charmaine said: "I am very happy she has another baby. (What gift you are giving to her?) Not that fast and have to see first. She needs to resist the cravings since pregnant before. (Tempt her to eat?) She can resist it even when we are having steamboat."

Chilam Cheung and Myolie Wu attended a New Year's Eve Countdown party and dueted Ten Fingers Interlocked, which got the audience really high. Asked whether Chilam will continue to be a "loyal child" and shoot TV series in 2014? He laughed and said: "I will, I have already signed a contract to shoot a Mainland drama. (Are you no longer shooting TVB series?) You know TVB doesn't really like me. (Really?) Just kidding. (Does TVB know you're kidding?) You can tell them on my behalf. I'm just joking. If there are series, definitely must let me participate. I have really good endurance, we still have opportunities to collaborate."

Also, it was said a Mainland television station offered Chilam and his son Morton Cheung 15 million RMB to participate in the TV show Where Are You Going, Dad?. He admitted they had been approached with an offer, initially he thought it would be great for him to show his child caring skills since his wife Anita Yuen always said he didn't know how to take care of his son, but unfortunately the TV show films Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which completely affects Morton's education, so they decided to turn down the offer. He believes his son's education is far more important than money. If the times and schedule could be accommodated, it can be reconsidered.

Myolie was asked what her New Year's resolution was? She said: "There are plans for movies, and I hope there will be improvements. I also hope for good health because I've been coughing for several months. Perhaps the weather has been too dry lately. (Too dry?) Yes! I hope to moisten up next year!" Asked if she's desperate for a boyfriend? Myolie denied: "No, leave it to fate. Actually I have more freedom now. When you're in a relationship, its so annoying, always have to explain everything. (Meet a new seun poon in the new year?) Nope, hope the year after!"

When speaking of Myolie's jobs coming one after another, has she earned a lot? She couldn't help but smile: "I'm very pleased because I work more and get more. I hope the upcoming year will be the same! (Just get married and be a rich wife!) Not suitable for me. I'm afraid I'll get bored." Asked if she's becoming a homeowner? Myolie laughed: "Just a small house! We'll close later in the year, just treat it like investment!"

A few days ago at the TVB Anniversary Awards, Chilam Cheung was the hot favorite TV King candidate, but unfortunately failed to get the title. When he got on stage to accept his 'My Favorite TV Male Character' award, his "loyal children" was said to have been indirect critism to TVB. He and his wife Anita Yuen had previously betted on who would get the award, and since Chilam lost the bet, he gave his wife a diamond bracelet worth 6 figures and Anita "thanked" TVB on Weibo. A Netizen called the couple sore losers, and said Anita had "paranoia". The comment lit Anita on fire as she defended her husband by refuting the Netizen. Anita wrote: "Are you sick? Are you trying to start a fight?"

Yesterday Anita accepted a phone interview, she expressed she and her husband just had a bet and told Netizens to stop thinking too much. "I received a gift that I liked, and couldn't help but to share it with everyone. I don't understand why some people could have unlimited imaginations." She refuted Netizens saying that they are sore losers: "You have to get it straight, I didn't say my husband would definitely win the award. I had a bet with him, I said he would lose. It is just that simple. Don't try to magnify the issue."

Chilam didn't know his wife and Netizens had a war of words. He accepted an interview and said: "I just participated in one show, and being part of a show that had such high ratings, it is an honor."

Netizens were unhappy by the speech made by "Triumph in the Skies 2" actor Chilam Cheung, calling it 'ungracious' after having lost the title of TV King to Dayo Wong.

According to JayneStars, when Cheung went to receive his award for Most Popular Male Character award at the TVB Anniversary Awards, which is often considered as a consolation prize to the title of TV King, he said this:

"Does TVB not like me? Is it only possible to win the award through popular votes? Biological children are lovable, but when appearing at the necessary and right time, loyal children are very important too!"

Although Cheung isn't managed by TVB, he is known to have a long standing relationship with the studio, often appearing in its TV dramas. Cheung had also reportedly turned down a lucrative appearance fee for a promotional event in order to make it for the TVB Anniversary Awards.

After his speech, Cheung had accepted interviews from his fans and a variety show, but refused to speak with interviewers from TVB's official publication.

Netizens then took to criticize Cheung's speech, saying that he should be grateful for being given a prize at all for "Triumph in the Skies 2".

Meanwhile, Cheung's wife Anita Yuen gave encouragement to her husband on her Weibo after the ceremony and was given a diamond bracelet by Cheung, for losing a bet to her that he would win the title of TV King.

Julian Cheung recently expressed his wish to participate in the movie version of the hit TVB series, "Triumph In The Skies II".

Oriental Daily website reported that the actor, who made an appearance at the screening of the series' finale, is interested in making a movie, but will leave it to the producer Tommy Leung to make the decision.

He stated, "Tommy and I talked about this and there is a probability that the movie version will be filmed next year. I really hoped that there will be a third season or a movie, but I am not sure if they will maintain the original cast or create new characters instead."

Previously, it was rumoured that "Triumph In The Skies II" has profited Julian tremendously, enabling him to pocket nearly HKD 10 million (USD 1,289,570). When heard about the rumour, co-star Francis Ng light-heartedly expressed his envy and said that he was only paid HKD 10,000.

When asked to confirm his salary, Julian laughed and said, "Don't believe Francis. He is a rich man. As for myself, I have always been a pricey actor!"

Amidst rumours of Anita Yuen's supposed controlling ways, Hong Kong actor and husband, Julian Cheung recently stepped up and defended his beloved wife, as reported on UDN website.

Previously, Hong Kong tabloids reported that ever since the birth of their second child, Anita Yuen has been calling all the shots in their marriage and even controls the choices of Julian's female co-stars.

In addition to that, following a published photograph of Julian's flabby figure during a vacation in Singapore recently, the actress was also portrayed as a controlling wife who 'fattens her husband' so that he lost his lean figure during the filming of "Triumph in the Skies II".

While speaking to the media at Edmond So's boutique opening in Central on 25 July, the actor joked that his flabby look was merely a publicity stunt for the show, and defended his wife vehemently.

Julian stated, "I was taken 20 years ago and I still am. I love my wife very much. There is no need for her to tie me down and control me."

He also added that Anita has never controlled the family's finance, and stressed that he is in charge of his own money.

The recently popular Chilam had a large group of female fans and attracted a group of reporters surrounding him for interviews. However, he hoped there won't be any disturbances in his daily life. A few days ago he had to call the police, he said: "I drove to the police station because I didn't know what else to do. (Called the police?) Yes, but I waited too long, so I left. But they (the paparazzi) were fine, they stopped following me."

Chilam stole the limelight from Ron throughout the event, Ron laughed: "I'm the smaller one, just here to support!" When speaking of Chilam and Kenneth Ma's intimate scenes, does Ron feel unhappy? According to Hong Kong media reports, Julian Cheung have gained so much weight in recent months that he had lost the lean figure he had during his latest drama Triumph in the Skies II.

The 42-year-old, who showed off a suave image as pilot “Captain Cool” in the drama, won the adoration of many fans, some of whom were amazed at how fit he looks even in his 40s.

However, during a family vacation to Singapore recently, the actor was spotted with a pot belly while having a swim with his son. The photographs showed a rounder looking Julian with obvious love handles – a stark difference to his image in Triumph in the Skies II. It is speculated that he has gained about 9kg of weight.

Julian’s weight gain was said to be because of his wife, actress Anita Yuen, who is afraid that her husband would stray if he maintained his lean and mean body.

The older Anita, who lost her svelte figure after having a son, had set out to keep him well-fed after filming for his drama ended seven months ago. The actress also reportedly takes charge of finances in the household and has the final say on the female co-stars her hubby could collaborate with.

An insider source said, “If Julian had to do intimate scenes with flirty or well-endowed female artists in a drama, Anita will never agree to it.”

On the other hand, Anita is said to feel more at ease if the female co-stars were people with relatively little scandals, like Myolie Wu and Fala Chen.

Yesterday it was reported Chilam Cheung's right eye has been twitching nonstop and after the doctor's consultation, it was confirmed there is vascular pressure on the nerves in his eyes. If the condition does not get treated, he could go blind.

Reporters contacted Miss Leung at Chilam's management Jet Tone Production Company to confirm. Miss Leung expressed: "That is not news." Chilam's constant right eye twitching happened half a year ago and it had been reported before. Chilam's eyebrow twitches from time to time and even the doctor does not know why. It's hard to find the source of the twitching, but what it is a problem with the nerves. As there is no case of illness, Chilam is not on any medication nor does he have to go in for follow-up appointments. He'll just have to seek treatment when something else happens. All in all, Miss Leung has not heard anything about the doctor saying he would go blind. What is the worst possible case? Miss Leung expressed the doctor did not say.

Chilam responded to the rumor as well, he said: "Thank you all for the concern! Indeed, the cause of my eye twitching is because of vascular pressure on my nerves, but the twitching had already stopped. The doctor said it's not a big deal. (Rumored you could go blind at any time?) They exaggerated it. I'm going to be shooting a 3D film with Gillian Chung and Kara Hui in April. I have many action scenes too, so if my condition was as serious as the rumor claims, then I wouldn't have accepted this film!"

Chilam Cheung, Fala Chen and Samantha Ko attended a New Year's Eve countdown event hosted by Mikiki. Samantha stoe the limelight in a low-cut shoulder strapped dress and 4-inch heels despite the cold weather. Although she has been taking singing lessons for two years, she expressed she rarely performs in public, thus she was nervous and her hands were shaking. Fortunately, she didn't forget the lyrics.

Earlier Chilam and Fala had rumors, but when the two met again, they embraced one another enthusiastically and chatted nonstop. Chilam disclosed on the spot that he still owes Fala money, but later there will be a check presenting ceremony. Chilam explained: "I was shooting in France for Triumph in the Skies II with Fala and Francis Ng, we ordered a box of red wine and Fala was responsible for ordering it for us online. I still haven't paid her back yet." Chilam exposed Fala is very attentive and took good care of the entire crew, so Francis gave her a nickname "Godmother", while Chilam called her "Thousand Mother". Chilam said: "She didn't like us calling her by that nickname, makes her seem so old."

When Fala learned the 'secret' was out, she whined: "Brother (Francis) gave me that nickname, but I'm the youngest in the crew, I can't take that name. I just have a hard life, used to being an 'Ah Sei' (maid). (They complimented that you'll be a good wife?) Well you have to ask them."

Earlier Chilam Cheung exploded on Weibo scolding the PA for causing so much confusion in the filming schedule, being illogical, disrespecting the artists and ruining the HK television industry. He asked the PA to quit and find another job. Since Chilam's comments were pretty extreme, Netizens criticized that he went overboard. The PA made mistakes, but that does not mean he has to get another job. Lately Chilam has already put his anger behind him, and yesterday he acknowledged his faults. He admitted he was too tense and stubborn. He's considered a passer-byer shooting at TVB, unlike the other artists who work all year round, therefore he has no right to complain.

Yesterday Chilam appeared at TVB city to continue shooting for Triumph in the Skies II. He revealed the crew is wrapping up on the shooting of the HK scenes. Also, he has already reflected on the way he acted and the shooting process will go a lot smoother from now on. Chilam frankly expressed he thought about it and now understands, "Perhaps I was too tense and stubborn, but actually it's none of my business, I'm just a passer-byer. An artist's life, half the time is waiting to get in position for the shoot, there's nothing unusual about that." Chilam expressed he has matured after this incident and is openly admitting that he was wrong. "I'm not someone who works long-term at TVB, therefore I have no right to complain. It should be said by people who are really working hard. I was wrong, it was my fault."

Chilam feels filming is a joyous process and the problems have already been resolved, so in the future it will be a lot more comforting and he can enjoy the process. He's grateful of all the behind-the-scenes crew, "As for my apology, I already treated everyone a meal at a restaurant. When we start shooting in England, we will have an even better meal." Chilam also exposed he invested 6 figures into his costume expenses, "Many times when I'm in a series, I use my own costumes, for myself and the audience, it's all good!"

It was said Chilam's Neway contract has ended, but hasn't been asked to stay by Neway's second prince (Sit Ka Leun). Chilam responded implying his contract ended, "Neway is a very good company. We're currently thinking in what other areas we could continue the collaboration. However, I'm busy shooting series now, so will have to wait until this completes before I can work on other things. Actually I recorded several albums with Neway, which will definitely release later." In regards to his earlier issues with the PA? Chilam calmly said: "If you didn't mention it, I already forgot it. We had several meetings to figure out how we could solve the problems, they have such great sincerity."

Because it's been many years since Nnadia seen Chilam, the two couldn't help but to give each other a hug. Nnadia expressed she had gained some weight, and will have to lose a pound every day in order to accommodate her later album promotions. She said: "I have to lose 20 pounds at least." When asked if TVB has invited her back to shoot a series? Nnadia said: "I don't know! Actually, if there is a good script, I want to shoot one too. If Virgina Lok asks me to, I don't mind."

Recently, Bosco Wong has been busy shooting for TVB new series A Good Heart Goes Haywire. When speaking of his co-star Niki Chow displeased by the PA's work performance? He said: "At busy times, there will definitely be mistakes. As long as, know your mistakes and make improvements. PAs have a lot on their plates, newcomers will bound to make mistakes. Make mistakes early and change them early."

A few days ago, Chilam Cheung angrily exploded on Weibo scolding the PA for messing up the filming schedules of Triumph in the Skies II. He even denounced that their behaviors directly relates to the downfall of HK television. Netizens refuted Chilam's accusations, they believed the workload of PAs are beyond an average person. Also, newcomers are bound to make some mistakes, Chilam shouldn't be making such a big deal out of little things. Another group of Netizens denounced Chilam back, that usually he only knows how to eat, drink and play, and does not know how distressed other people are. Netizens accused him of 'big bullying small', one Netizen expressed: "Just because your a celebrity, does not mean your the boss. There is a hierarchy of work, they aren't just responsible to serve you!" They also believed the producer and the scriptwriter holds some responsibility as well, and suggested that the PAs go on strike.

Last night, Chilam was shooting a raining scene with Fala Chen in Central and again, one of the PAs forgot whether Fala should have a handbag on her for the scene, which got Chilam angered once more. Producer Chan Wai Koon explained last night at 7pm, Chilam had to shoot an outdoor scene, the new PA gave him a 5pm schedule. That PA had only been working with them for 6 months and another experienced PA is leading him.

Lawrence Ng attended a charity event yesterday and revealed he's returning to TVB next year for The Hippocratic Crush II, he frankly expressed he encountered the same situation before. He said: "I've encountered new directors or new employees who were inexperienced and made the work more difficult for everyone. There is little time for rest when shooting TVB series, so it's natural that people will get cranky. The better the actors, the more irritable they are. In the past, I really did started scolding people due to all the stress from work, but later when I calmed down, I treated them all a meal and apologized to them."

Raymond Lam was on a radio interview, and when speaking of Chilam scolding the PA? Raymond agreed there has been many new employees with little experience, but often times, things are not perfect. He said: "Usually I would call the crew and ask them if there are any changes in the schedule, they should notify me immediately. I hope the PAs could be responsible for their own work." In regards to a scene in new series Highs and Lows, where he rescues Ella Koon, it was suspected he touched her chest while doing so? Raymond denied, "Basically I don't remember that scene existing at all. Re-watching the clip, there was no body contact at all, my hand was in the air.I really thank everyone for watching my series though! In every series and every role, there will bound to be some mistake. When we are filming, we usually discover a lot of mistakes, but sometimes we really can't control it."

Myolie Wu is currently shooting with Chilam on TITS2, she also knows about the scheduling issues with the PA and it is an individual matter. From what she knows, it did not just happened 1 or 2 times to Chilam, perhaps the PA is just too new. She will tell Chilam not to be too upset, newcomers should be given the opportunity to learn. Myolie said: "The PA has improved and is much more behaved now."

Also part of the cast of TITS2, Ron Ng expressed: "Chilam's EQ is very high. Perhaps it didn't just happened once, but PAs have a large range of work, we must understand that. I will call the PA to coordinate with them."

Kenneth Ma is unsure of the incident, but he believes all PAs cannot be blamed for it. He knows about the slight confusion in the schedules, many PAs are making the mistake, and the new PAs hasn't gotten accustomed yet, so that's why there is some confusion.

Wayne Lai expressed: "Don't be so upset. Perhaps the PA was too busy and made the mistake. If arrive early to the set, then have a meal first."
