Vivian pointed that she did not enjoy being a singer and did not have any personal time due to her hectic work schedule at that point: "I need to treat anxiety disorder seriously as it is not a normal behaviour. It is ridiculous that I have lots of work and promotion campaigns at that time and I have no time to spend money. So what is the point of earning lots of money? I was lost!"
Mentioning about her concert in Hong Kong Coliseum in January 2018, Vivian admitted to worry about her stamina and it will be her last concert.
On 04 May, another rumour of Sharla and Vivian collaborate this promotion tactic together as they will be filming China reality show, Up Idol 2 (我們來了) soon. However based on understanding, Vivian does not participate in any filming in China and it is believed to be a groundless rumour.
As Vivian's MV starred Aaron Kwok (郭富城) as the first male lead and he was getting married, she felt happy for him: "I will congratulate him and definitely attend his wedding banquet if he invites me."
Mentioning about her good friend, Shirley Kwan (關淑怡) was suspected of threatening case earlier, Vivian replied she kept in contact with her and inconvenient to reveal the contents but she felt okay.
Lately, Vivian films MV for Hacken Lee's (李克勤) new song and it is her second time to act as female lead in his MV. They know each other for 20 years and collaborate again. Some netizens commented: "Know each other since young and it is finally granted at middle age."
Vivian indicated she likes the brand's concept of spreading important health information to friends and family. She recalled the time when her late mother was suffering from arthritis, Vivian said: "My mom was suffering from serious arthritis at the time. At first, the pain was sporadic. In the end, she was in so much pain that she couldn't even walk nor climb up a flight of stairs. That made me realize I need to take better care of my joint health." She also called for everyone to pay attention to their joints, she said: "Our joints will be subject to wears and tears as we age. That's why we need to take steps to avoid joint diseases."
In the commercial, Vivian had to challenge herself by climbing a steep stairs in the mountain. Vivian said: "I often run on my treadmill machine at home. I also like to play tennis with my husband and friends. So the filming of the commercial wasn't all that tiring for me at all."
As reported on Mingpao News, the actress, who attended the press conference announcing her new album, addressed rumours saying that they had an argument during a recording process, and clarified, "Leo and I worked on several songs back to back. After finishing all the songs, we were so tired that we went our separate ways without saying any word."
Vivian stated that Leo looked pale as he left the studio, which sparked rumours that the two of them had a row during the recording session.
This is also the first time for Vivian to work with Leo, aside from Ivana Wong, who composed one of her songs in the album.
"He is demanding, but most music producers are like that. We have a strict policy about the album and spent four nights to complete the recording," she said.
Vivian also revealed that she was asked about releasing a gospel album ever since her conversion to Christianity in 2009.
"I hope that the album resonates well with fans, and they will buy it as a Christmas gift to loved ones," she said.
When asked if she plans to hold a concert with the release of her new album, Vivian said that there is no plan for the time being.
"Even if there is one, it has to wait until 2016 to coincide with my 30th anniversary in the industry," she said.

Hong Kong singer-actress Vivian Chow was recently pictured shopping in a mall in Central, Hong Kong, with an unidentified man. Her husband Joe Nieh was not seen at the outing and Vivian's shopping companion was described as a 'stylish bespectacled man'.
Vivian and the 'mysterious man' entered a luxury store together, and the singer walked out of the shop carrying a bag of purchases 20 minutes later. Interaction between the two was said to be close and natural as Vivian reportedly wore a bright smile on her face while chatting with her companion. Masked by a pair of shades, she left the mall under his escort.
In other related news, Vivian has been making frequent appearances as guest stars at her celebrity friends' concerts lately. Her well-maintained looks and figure solidified her position as the envy of ladies and the timeless 'dream girl' of men, even as the former screen sweetheart turns 45 this year.
The 44-year-old Hong Kong actress and her boyfriend, 47-year-old Joe Nieh, had once mutually agreed that they would not have children of their own. The couple was said to be open to adoption.
Vivian once said, "I'm very open-minded, [we might] adopt, but if the timing's right."
However, according to a Hong Kong magazine report, Vivian changed her mind last year and hoped to help the Nieh family carry on their family name.
Recently, the veteran singer was seen going to the gynaecologist alone.
The magazine received a tip-off from a member of the public, who claimed that Vivan was spotted at the gynaecologist's office twice in the afternoon. Both times, the singer left in less than an hour after her arrival.
Vivianwas also rumoured to have seen a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner this month to prepare her body for pregnancy.
According to an insider, "Vivian does not mind having a child and hopes to let nature takes its course. However, Joe's parents look forward to having a grandchild, so she will try hard for a baby next year, to make their wish come true. If it fails, she will consider adoption."
Vivian was asked if she fears Sandra will ruin her image? She said no and that many have imitated her in last several years, just like Derek Kwok recently. She said: "I realized when Derek is disguised as me, the last camera shot was quite beautiful. Actually, I think he didn't really look like me, but as a masculine man, his disguise was very vivid! I have never dressed in palace clothing to sing Self-Sentimental (自作多情), he really brought out the special side of me, very creative."
Vivian expressed she's very happy to have the opportunity to shoot a 25 year anniversary special. She frankly said she had not done this type of show for 15 years. She said: "TVB arranged many rising star films to broadcast, creating anticipation and surprises." Vivian said she'll be performing the song Favorite, the director insisted that she personally play the guitar to make it an excellent performance. However, it's been a long time since she played the guitar, so she can only suck it up and take on the task. When speaking of her upcoming concert in March, Vivian said that she has to receive extra training from her singing teacher. Afterall, it has been several years since she sang. To be fully prepared for the concert, this special will be her warm up. In the special, Vivian will duet with each of her guests.
Vivian and Leo Ku have known each other for many years after their duet Love Too Late. Leo and Vivien can even be 'impromptu', Leo said: "One time after Vivian and I had dinner, before getting back into the car, I suddenly told her that I'm itching. She asked me what happened? In the film scene, Vivian, Sandra Ng and William Chan's new film All About Love (得閒炒飯) has been greatly acclaimed, attracting many film production companies wanting to work with Vivian. Earlier, she received a pile of scripts, including tragic and comedy films. One of them was tailored for her too. But, because Vivian is a perfectionist and does not want to be distracted by two jobs, she's having a headache on which one to decide.
"Thank you everyone for your concern, but I and my husband have a mutual understanding – we don't plan on having children.
"We have a lot of cats and dogs at home and they are like children to us. We don't even spend enough time with them (their pets). If we have children, we will have to divide our time even further," said Chow at a publicity event in Beijing on Tuesday.
The actress added that her in-laws were very understanding and did not pressure them to have kids.
Besides having lots of pets, the 42-year-old actress also admitted to owning way too many pairs of shoes.
"I have a dedicated room for my shoes at home. I have so many that I'd have difficulty looking for any particular pair.
"So I took photos of all the shoes I have, put them in an album and numbered them. I would then look at the photos to find the shoes I want," said Chow, pointing out that she spends a lot of money on shoes and bags.
Chow who enjoyed much popularity throughout the late 1980s and the 1990s as a Canto-pop sweetheart, made headlines last year after reports of her then boyfriend Joe Nieh cheating on her were splashed across the tabloids. The couple married in a low-key wedding in January 2009.
The actress had recently marked her return to showbiz after a 13-year hiatus with a role as a lesbian woman in Hong Kong director Ann Hui's romantic comedy "All About Love".
