Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) was dressed up sexily as the host during an award ceremony on 24 November despite the sexual limit imposed by TVB. She said: "I do not feel it is sexy as long as it looks beautiful and comfortable. I do not feel any pressure an not heading towards sexy direction."

Jennifer revealed she will celebrate Christmas with her family in London and there was lots of sale on Boxing Day: "It has been 5 years since returning to London and I can meet up with my friends. (Tell your friends to introduce guys?) Nope. Most are married and I dislike long distance relationship."

Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) accepts an interview from the media and does not mind the organisation committee using Bowie Cheung (張寶兒) and her as the highlight. She also thanks the clients for thinking of them. Asking if she is afraid of embarrassment, Jennifer says: "Nope as we are colleagues. I did bump into Bowie after her dating and definitely give my blessings to them as it is happy news." Jennifer adds that she is currently single and has no suitor now. When mentioned about having dinner together with Andrew Chan (陳浚霆) earlier, Jennifer says: "We are watching movie together only."

Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) attended the dinner banquet related to watches on 05 September and when mentioned about the romance between her old love, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) and Bowie Cheung (張寶兒), she said: "I feel happy for them and message him as well. Most importantly, he finds the right person. (Feel sad as he is dating now?) Nope. He has the right to date after breaking up and I give my blessings to him. (Benjamin says he uses different method to love you now?) Thank you for his concern. I feel happy that I have another friend loves me by different way and we are good friends now."

Jennifer admits she has many male friends and prefers to take things slowly. Asking if she will inform Benjamin when dating in the future, Jennifer said: "Maybe not as I prefer to handle it by myself and it is not good to trouble others."

Daniel (薛世恒), the eldest son of Neway attends an event in Hong Kong as the celebrity for the first time and is present at the new store opening of the brand, Tissot in Causeway Bay with Pakho Chau (周柏豪) and Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) on 03 August.

As Daniel is pointed to resemble Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) and his old love, Jennifer is present and says: "They do resemble each other and I know Daniel for 4 years. But the more I look at them, I feel they do not look like each other and can differentiate them easily." Daniel reveals they disguises themselves during Halloween and only Jennifer manages to recognise them.

Mentioning about joining showbiz at 40 years old and describing as the "oldest newcomer", Daniel says: "I do not look old and every guy at different age has different charm. (Wish to work with your old love, Fala Chen (陳法拉)?) It is better not to have too much rules and inconvenient for me to mention Fala. (What about working with your sister-in-law, Marie Zhuge (諸葛紫岐)?) She is part of my family and I will not give myself too many rules."

Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) attended an event at Kwun Tong District on 01 January and expressed she celebrated her New Year's eve with her family and wished Happy New Year to her old love, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) by texting. Lately, she hosted a show with Peter So (蘇民峰) and needed to sleep at an area with the most romance luck. Jennifer disclosed connections with the audiences was most important in showbiz and left her relationship to destiny, but will not reject new relationship.

In addition, Benjamin moved house and became Jennifer's neighbour. She explained many artistes moved nearer in order to work conveniently. When asked if she enjoyed her single status, Jennifer replied nobody talked about this topic any longer and gave her blessings to him.

Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) and Tracy Chu (朱千雪) attended the movie premiere, L for Love L for Life Too (失戀日) on 20 December and when mentioned about her old love, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) said thank-you to her during TVB Anniversary Awards, Jennifer said: "I am aware of it. (Feel touched?) Feel touched in every award ceremony as it is not easy as an artiste and I feel for happy as a friend. (Will give him second chance?) It does not cross my mind and please give us some privacy despite breaking up for a month only."

Asking if she will give him second chance as Benjamin revealed he wanted to woo her again, Jennifer said: "I did think about it but how many chances exactly? I gave him many chances during the 3 years relationship and it is not the first time. (How many times?) Not telling the exact details and I know the audiences want us to reconcile but we are happy as friends now."

Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) dated Ms former Hong Kong, Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) for nearly 3 years and rumours of wedding bells have been circulating. However a few days ago, both announced they had broken up and it was shocking to their friends. Jennifer remained calm and replied ON.CC (東網) through message: "Thank you for the concern. I am calm now and please do not worry. We broke up peacefully and please refrain from asking too much details. Benjamin and I have explained it."

Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) was promoting foreign series, Nirvana In Fire (琅琊榜) series purchased by TVB at Tsuen Wan and when mentioned about bringing the birthday cake to the toilet when her boyfriend, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) was taking a shower, she said: "Because he happened to take a shower and I brought in the birthday cake and sang song to him. (Afraid he will be mad?) Nope and he dares not to."

Jennifer expressed her boyfriend needed to work on his birthday and they had the celebration 1 week earlier. When asked if she was scared about other people falling in love with Benjamin as he had been showing his muscles, Jennifer said: "He has been showing it since participating in Mr. Hong Kong contest in 2007 and I am not too worried. (Any marriage plan?) Sweet relationship means happiness but no marriage plan yet as we are focusing on our career." She added that she will not take a shower on the exact date of her birthday (October) after that incident.
