Congrats! 45 year old Jordan Chan and 30 year old Cherrie Ying have been married for 3 years, and had always wished to keep the generations going. Finally, on July 1st the couple welcomed their 6 pound baby boy Jasper. "Little Jordan" was due earlier than expected. When Cherrie's water broke, she called her husband Jordan back to HK at once. Jordan flew back from Tianjin and fortunately made it in time to witness the birth of his first son during a signal No.3 typhoon. Cherrie frankly expressed its a like a dream come true and joked she wonders whether will 'exercise magical powers' (cause trouble) in the future since he was born during a typhoon.

The new father accepted interviews from the media outside of the hospital entrance. It was difficult for Jordan to cover up the happiness of becoming a father, he said emotionally: "My son was born on July 1st. Of course, I accompanied my wife through labor. My son was about 6 pounds at birth, it wasn't a natural birth, but the process went smoothly. Cherrie was very strong and was not afraid at all." Jordan rushed back to HK from Tianjin when his wife was ready to go into labor; once the plane landed, he hurried to the third floor of the hospital and finally entered the delivery room with his wife, but unfortunately he cannot carry his newborn yet because he's still under observation. Does he plan to send the baby pictures to the media? He said: "Probably not, leave them for myself."

Jordan disclosed Jasper has his mother's lips, his nose and eyebrows. He laughed: "He has a lot of [body] hair, but I'm saying eyebrows. He has a lot of hair too, his arms and legs are long. Of course he's a handsome boy." He praised Cherrie was very strong, she had anesthesia and still could feel the bottom half of her body being operated on.

Jasper does not have a Chinese name yet, his wife will make the decision and he will temporarily be breastfed. The happiest to Jordan was he and his son are both Cancer. "Coincidentally he was born on July 1st, each year there will always be people putting fireworks to celebrate with us. (Not every year.) It's still good!" Cherrie disclosed on Facebook she chose the name Jasper because her husband's English name is Jordan, so their son's name should start with a J too. It means to have heritage.

Asked if he'll reduce his workload to spend more time taking care of his son? Jordan helplessly expressed he did want to spend more time in HK with his son and allow the father-son to get familiar with each other, but unfortunately he has to fly back to Tianjin on July 8th.

Hong Kong actor Jordan Chan's wife, Cherrie Ying revealed in a recent interview that she feels more like Chan's mother than his wife, reported Chinese media.

"He (Chan) is a bit childlike. Very often I have to remind him about things over the phone and repeat myself two, three times before he remembers.

"He is messy and always forgets where he put things. I even have to remember all his passwords, I am just like his mother," Ying lamented.

"I often feel that when he was looking for a wife, he was actually looking for a mother."

However, the 27-year-old Taiwan-born Hong Kong actress stressed that while her husband may forget a lot of things, Chan never forgets his duty to his wife.

"He (Chan) actually takes good care of me, I feel a sense of security with him around," said Ying. "He gives me the care and support I need."

Ying, who married Chan in Las Vegas last February, also said that they are planning to start a family soon.

"I have always wanted to have children, as I like children, the more the merrier," said Ying, who expressed that she is willing to give up her acting career to take care of her children.

"Marriage is also a woman's career. At the end of the day, it is not your career that is most important, it is your family," Ying said.

Ying made her film debut with the action drama film "Fulltime Killer" starring alongside Andy Lau and Takashi Sorimachi in 2001.

The wedding ceremony was held at a garden in a hotel and a 52 table reception was held in the evening. 43 year old Jordan Chan marries 27 year old Cherrie Ying, the groom was blushing the whole time while his wife grabbed him to kiss. Young and Dangerous's "San Jai" Jordan is getting married, good brother "Chan Ho Nam" (Ekin Cheng) helps leads the 18 other Young and Dangerous brothers including Jan Lamb, Michael Tse and Jason Chu to pick up the bride in their tuxedos with shorts and bow ties. When they got to the bride's room, they pushed the door open the "gangster" style and stole the bride. Later, Jordan gave a "happy price" for the open door lucky packet and successfully got his bride.

At 3pm, the wedding ceremony was held at the garden in a hotel. There was nearly 200 guests that came to the ceremony, and Louis Yuen served as the MC. The couple were married in February of this year, Louis pretended to be the person who arranges the couple for the marriage oath. Jordan read the oath through his iPad and appeared nervous, while the bride was quite relaxed when she read the oath. After the two signed the marriage certificate, they exchanged silver wedding rings.

Exchange wedding cups, Bride wanted another drink

When Jordan lifted his bride's veil and kissed her, the media at the scene quickly took pictures and asked for them to kiss again. Results, they ended up kissing 9 times, meaning they will be together for a very long time. The whole time, Jordan was rather passive and was often wiping sweat away, his wife had to be the initiator. When the couple exchanged wedding cups, Cherrie wanted to have another drink, this bride is quite heroic.

Asked about making babies during their honeymoon, Cherrie responded: "No way!" Jordan as a big man, asked his wife why not? The two started playing love games in front of the media.
