TVB actress, Koni Lui (呂慧儀), shocked the entertainment industry when she and now ex-husband, Dickson Wong (黃文迪), announced their divorce on March 9th. While many of their celebrity friends showed concern and pity over their divorce, fellow TVB actress, Kelly Fu (傅嘉莉), posted a lengthy Instagram post throwing shade at Koni Lui and Dickson Wong for dragging her into a publicity stunt years ago.

The incident Kelly Fu is referring to goes back to 2013 when Dickson Wong uploaded a picture on Instagram of him holding hands with a female wearing black nail polish in a car. Not too long after, Koni Lui posted a response on Weibo saying she doesn’t recall wearing black nail polish. She asks Dickson Wong if he posted the wrong picture. This led to netizens trying to decipher the female in the picture. After some sleuthing, netizens determined it was Kelly Fu in the picture holding hands with Dickson Wong. It turns out Kelly Fu and Dickson Wong were once signed to the same modeling company. At that time, Kelly Fu was seen wearing black nail polish at an event a few days earlier. This is how she got labeled for being a cheater.

In her lengthy post, she explains how friends sent her news of Koni Lui and Dickson Wong’s divorce. She says seeing the picture from 6 years ago gets her mad and once to clear her name. Kelly Fu then says she was absolutely not the girl wearing black nail polish in the picture. She says she was considered good friends and colleagues with Koni Lui and Dickson Wong and was even a bridesmaid at their wedding. She explains she had black nail polish on at that time because she was attending different events and so she wore different events and matched different nail polish colors.

She continues to say, “Once the news came out, everyone’s reaction was “That hand is not Koni Lui’s. That car is not their seven seater car.” Why is that couple, who is holding each other’s hand, who is wearing black nail polish, who is in their own car, who took that picture, who uploaded that picture, would impact me? Why would reporters immediately think it was me? They said I was the one holding Dickson Wong’s hand. The next day, all the newspapers didn’t clear my name. They all said I was the one wearing black nail polish. I was given the label or “taking my friend’s husband.”

Kelly Fu finishes off saying, “Lastly, I want to say that as we were once friends before, it is a pity knowing they separated. I ask my friends to stop sending their news to me. Reporters also don’t need to keep asking me to comment about them.”

Kelly Fu (傅嘉莉) attends a skincare event on 04 June and will be filming new series, Te Ji Ren (特技人) with Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀) and Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗) in July. She is currently training herself fit and learning acting skills from professional people: "I go to Italy with my female friend to view art exhibition during my break. (Are you married to a married wealthy man?) It is my first time to go to Rome and Venice and we see art exhibitions there. (Are you "frozen" by the company for holidaying with him in Vietnam earlier?) Nope, it is a big understanding. I have been keeping in touch with the company and know that I will be filming series in July. I have explained about the vacation in Vietnam previously. (Scolded by the company?) Nope. I am currently single." Kelly is not worried about the rumours with Kelvin Kwan and the main purpose is to help in the promotion activities, and everyone's focus represent success.

Kelly Fu (傅嘉莉) is rumoured to have an affair with married businessman, Benny Chong (莊天龍) and have vacation in Japan and Milan together, but she denies being the third party all along. Lately, she is discovered to travel with him in Vietnam and wears a sexy swimsuit as well. When asked if she sat in a ferry alone to meet Benny Chong in Vietnam during an event on 22 April, Kelly replied it was a big misunderstanding and it was an invitation to a private event only. She met him by coincidence and was wearing a swimsuit when swimming and they did not meet again.

Asking if it was really a coincidence, Kelly said: "I am not looking at the news reports again and please give me some privacy. Asking if Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) and Edwin Siu (蕭正楠) planned to get married in overseas secretly in August, Kelly said: "Is it promotion? Congratulations if it is really true. Anyway, it is unnecessary to hide as along as it does not affect work."

As it was 32 years old Kelly's birthday on 06 January, Matthew gave her a kiss and she said: "Very happy to work on my birthday. It is a good start and I hope to focus on my career and less rumours for me."

Kelly Fu (傅嘉莉) attended an event in the shopping mall and when asked about the earlier car accident when she was in Korea, she said "I go to Korea due to my friend's pre wedding and stay for few more days with a group of female friends." Kelly revealed that a car from behind hit their cab when the driver was turning right. She sat on the right side and the cab started to lose control after driving on the road. At that moment, the situation was quite dangerous and her face begun to turn pale.

Kelly said "My mind starts to ponder many stuff when the car is going to hit us. Life is indeed fragile and helpless." She added that she went to hospital for a check up and was in fine condition. Kelly confessed she did not tell her family for fear of worry for her.

As the public sympathises with Kelly Fu for her supposedly unrequited love for co-star, Ron Ng, the "Triumph In The Skies II" actress may have actually been blind-siding the media from her actual relationship.

As reported on Apple Daily, on 5 August, a tabloid exposed that Kelly is actually dating another man, who turns out to be the son of the wealthy barrister Robert George Kotewall, named Charles.

On 25 July, the couple was seen leaving Causeway Bay where Charles is currently residing to meet up with a group of friends.

Charles, who is an executive at a well-known international investment company, was later spotted visiting Kelly's home late at night and did not leave the premises until the next morning. They met each other again on the same day; moments after Kelly left a promotional event.

When asked about their relationship, Kelly stated, "I like to be friends with foreigners, and I think both of us have good chemistry together," but she declined to elaborate more.

Ron Ng has been busy shooting in Mainland and hasn't really appeared in HK. In his new series Triumph in the Skies II, he continues portraying Issac Tong, "Sam Gor" Francis Ng's younger brother and develops a relationship with Myolie Wu's new role. When asked if he has any kiss scenes with Myolie? He said: "All the kiss scenes in the series, leave it to Kenneth Ma and Chilam Cheung. (What a disadvantage for you?) Nope, I didn't ask for any. Perhaps Chilam asked the producer for kiss scenes. In the series, Chilam is a pilot I really admire, but he's always dumping girls and I'm the one who helps him handles it.
