Athena Chu (朱茵) has been developing her career in China in recent years and expressing that she has been accompanying her 5 year old daughter, Wong Ying (黃鶯) at home other than visiting houses during day 1 and 2 of Lunar New Year at an event on 22 February. She comments that Debbie normally feels better after doing an activity with sweating for 30 minutes.

Asking if she plans to have another baby, Athena says: "It depends on destiny and she wants to have a sister though. But she is very lively and keeps playing with her male classmates in school and it is better for her to have a brother."

Athena reveals she travels to US with her daughter earlier and she feels mad upon seeing her going out for work on 22 February: "She feels slightly mad when seeing me applying nail polish and asks me about applying lipstick as well. I tell her I am working today and will have dinner tonight and I pacify her by applying nail polish for her."

Athena Chu (朱茵) and Stephen Chow (周星馳) are in a relationship before and only discuss about each other after ending their relationship. She is already married to Paul Wong (黃貫中) and has a blissful family but Stephen continues to remain single. Athena accepted an interview from the show, The Jin Xing Show (金星秀) a few days ago and graciously discussed about the past love, she said: "I used to mind it but no longer now." She urged them to ask Stephen directly next time.

In the show, Athena admitted Stephen was a smart and talented person but not easy to get along though. When asked if she was considered the perfect woman in his life, Athena said: "I do not think so. (Receive his blessing when you are married?) Nope." When the host mentioned that she was the "inspiration goddess" during the relationship with Stephen, Athena did not raise any objection.

One week ago, Athena Chu (朱茵) shared group photo of herself, Ada Choi (蔡少芬) and Catherine Hung (洪欣) on Weibo. Athena Chu wrote: "Get together with Ada Choi, Catherine Hung -- Rock! Monica Chan (陳法蓉), where are you? miss u." Netizens praised "Three goddess are together and very attractive", "All are beauties and frozen age goddess", "I really envy you and hope their friendship lasts forever."

Beautiful mother Athena Chu (朱茵), also known as a sexy goddess, filmed a commercial for a skin care brand as the Chinese spokesperson. She was mesmerizing, wearing a beige floral-laced evening gown with her hair all combed back. Make-up artist Jonathan Li who collaborated with her for the commercial greatly praised Athena that he wouldn't have been able to guess she's a mother already and that her well-cared skin makes her look still as youthful.

It's rare that Athena would leave her daughter's side and entirely concentrate her time on the filming. She also shared some skin care tips and believed that older women shouldn't mind their age too much because aging is a natural process. She expressed that maintaining a young mind would also keep a person in high spirits. She revealed she has to thank her daughter in this area: "When you are with little kids, you will always discover new things. The way kids see the world is different than the way adults see it. Even the smallest things, they would be really curious and fascinated about."

Last night at around 8pm, 48 y/o Paul Wong announced good news on Weibo, the day before his 41 y/o girlfriend Athena Chu's birthday, "Hello everyone, a very beautiful, fresh out of the oven 'char siu bao' wants to let all her friends know: 'My parents and I have safely made it home. Happy Yang Festival everyone." Paul also uploaded three beautiful photos of his newborn baby girl "Char Siu Bao" (roast pork bun).

The baby had thick hair and single-eyelids just like her father Paul, but her nose and little lips looks a lot like her beautiful mommy Athena. She's a natural born beautiful girl. Little 'Char Siu Bao' is certainly one cute baby girl, just a few days ago and already actively moving her hands and feet and even knows how to smile. She was so cute, one would want to take a bite of her chubby cheeks, no wonder Paul nicknamed their baby "Char Siu Bao".

Yesterday reporters tried to contact Paul throughout the entire day, but unfortunately he was too busy looking after his newborn and taking care of Athena, thus did not answer the calls. He did, however, replied through WhatsApp, "My brain is confused, I'm speechless!" A member of the group Beyond, 48 year old Paul Wong and 40 year old 'Sexy Goddess' Athena Chu's love marathon has officially reached their 14th year. A few years ago, the couple expressed they aren't in a hurry to marry or have children, but February of this year, Athena was seen to have a bulging stomach. It was rumored Athena was pregnant after going to see a Chinese doctor. However, at the time Athena denied on Weibo: "Just based on the cotton clothing?" She stressed it was just a misconception.

Until yesterday afternoon, Athena suddenly posted an excerpt of the lyrics from Paul's Child: "Child, I really want to let you know, even if the world collapses, I still love you, you are the most amazing." She also uploaded a black and white nude photo of her and Paul embracing. Its rumored that Athena is 3 months pregnant.

30 minutes later, Paul reposted Athena's Weibo entry and admitted that they will soon be living a '3 person world': "All along, we thought that love is just between us two, but from today on, it will not longer be just us two. I love you." Paul expressingly indicated Athena's pregnancy by just a simple message. Four hours after the couple's Weibo messages, there were already over 10,000 repost and comments (TN: Updated numbers, it's over 27,000 now). The majority of them were Netizens congratulating the couple and sending their blessings.

It was understood Paul denied the pregnancy earlier was all because he loves Athena. He didn't want the good news to turn into troubling news nor did he want the paparazzi's attention and affect Athena's pregnancy. A few days ago, he expressed on Weibo: "Telling a lie is different from keeping a secret, but sometimes to continue upholding the secret, will be forced to tell a lie." Yesterday when the couple met the press back in HK, Paul reveals that they plan to get married at the end of the year.

Paul has a pretty broad relations with people in the industry, and has many celebrities who are fans of him including Ella Koon, RubberBand's 6 members and William Chan.

Athena Chu, Jade Kwan, and many other Christian artists in the entertainment industry gathered at the HK Coliseum yesterday to rehearse for the AWE 2010 Evangelism Event taking place starting tonight.

Though many artists will be present at the 3-day event, music queen Sammi Cheng – also a devout Christian – will not be able to attend due to her being out of the country.

Actress Athena Chu will be presenting an award at the event. She indicated that due to the nature of the entertainment industry, many times, artists have to face a lot of struggle and conflict – for example, in order to stand out or get noticed, some people may resort to pushing others down or hurting them in other ways just to get ahead. Asked if she experienced these types of ‘conflicts’ during her career, Athena smiled and responded: “For me, it’s a very trivial matter. Before, when I was filming in Hunan [China], I did encounter some conflicts – perhaps because people in Hong Kong and people in China grow up in different environments, so their attitudes and ideas can be quite different as well. I’ve had differences of opinion with people at work before that were not too pleasant.” Athena expressed that whenever she encounters a difficult situation, the first thing she will do is pray to God – sometimes, even with a trivial matter such as whether she should change rooms or not [when she is out of town working], she would also pray about it. Singer Jade Kwan, who delayed her honeymoon in order to attend the event, says that she will be participating in tonight’s event, then will be flying to France with her husband: “I had actually wanted to attend all 3 days, however my husband’s birthday is in a couple days, so I was only able to commit to 1 day.” Jade indicated that she and her husband plan to have children and will try during their honeymoon trip. She also expressed that she is happy to hear that actress Gigi Lai is pregnant with twins and hopes that she herself can have boy/girl twins so she only needs to be pregnant once.
