Congratulations are in order for Phoebe Sin (單文柔) and Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) as the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Quinta, today! Phoebe Sin gave birth to Quinta via C-section. The couple just celebrated Phoebe Sin’s 29th birthday the previous day.

Phoebe Sin responded to Oriental Daily News and said, “Ruco and I are very happy. Seeing “Little Piglet” (Quinta), we feel so fortunate. She’s always smiling, so cute. Hope she grows up healthy. She looks like the both of us. Ruco was with me throughout the entire process. He cut the umbilical cord. I was still not fully conscious. I heard Ruco describing the baby, I laughed.”

When asked why they chose the name Quinta, Phoebe Sin said, “My younger sister suggested it. Later on, I thought it was pretty good. Q is in between P (Phoebe) and R (Ruco). The meaning of it is that she can grow up healthy and happy under our protection.”

Hong Kong TVB heartthrob Ruco Chan tied the knot with 28-year-old budding actress Phoebe Sin on a yacht over the weekend of October 15, 2018 amid blue skies and beautiful views of HK harbour.

The 41-year-old actor-singer arrived on a speedboat before boarding the yacht for the ceremony. They exchanged their vows in the presence of 50 guests. “Although I was excited, I had a good night’s sleep as I wanted this to be a memorable moment for the two of us,” said the groom.

Chan was dressed in a black Chi­nese tunic suit with a gold dragon design on the left chest while Sin wore a high-slit red qipao and embroidered high heels. The couple followed the Chinese tradition where a red umbrella was held over the bride’s head to protect her from evil spirits as they boarded the car, accompanied by groomsmen, former ATV actors Derek To and Jerry Leung and Phoebe’s good friends, Tiffany Lau and Joyce Ngai.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and his rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) wished happy new year to TVB Executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲) on day 3 of Lunar New Year but they are discovered for taking group photo with some distance. However, they are seen intimate when visiting the former ATV film producer with Andrew Yuen (袁文傑) at the restaurant. Phoebe sits closely to Ruco and they resemble a sweet couple. Looks like their relationship is perceived stable and ever wonder if they are pressurised to get married soon?

Many artiste such as Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), Samantha Ko (高海寧), Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎), Phoebe Sin (單文柔), Bowie Cheung (張寶兒) and Tang Chi Wai (鄧智偉) took group photo with TVB Executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲) on 18 February. The couple teams, Kenneth and Jacqueline, Benjamin and Bowie took photos together but Ruco and Phoebe appear to keep a distance from each other. As for Samantha and Chi Wai, there is 4 people between them.

As for Andrew Yuen (袁文傑), he walks everywhere to take photos with others such as Gilbert Lam (林韋辰), Pinky Cheung (張文慈), William Chak (翟威廉), Joel Chan (陳山聰), Jack Hui (許家傑), Crystal Fung (馮盈盈), Ruco and Benjamin. Looks like he is getting along with the big TVB family.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) attends a charity event on 11 February and will be donating $20,000 raising from his birthday party to Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation. Mentioning about holding fans meeting session in Malaysia on 17 February and the most expensive ticket is $1200 (HKD), Ruco explains it is a misunderstanding. Suggesting to include interaction at a close distance, he says: "We are currently liaising with the company as the locals support Hong Kong artiste and they are worried about failing to control the situation. Have to see how it goes."

When asked if he does charity work and dates together with his rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) at the same time, Ruco replies Susan Tse (謝雪心) is supposed to be around but is absent due to the flu. He usually does charity work with Phoebe together. Asking about the celebrations for Valentine's Day, Ruco says: "I am working. (Celebrate in advance?) I can celebrate everyday if I want to and do not need to wait until Valentine's Day."

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) was exposed by the reporters for dating his rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) last year and charged for reckless driving when leaving. The case is on trial at Eastern Magistrates' Courts on 08 January and Ruco is absent due to taking care of his 68 year old mother with the medical certificate issued from the doctor. He expresses his apology and Ruco is convicted for reckless driving and fined with $3000 ultimately.

Four days ago on Weibo, Ruco points nothing is more important than kinship: "This few days are the most important in my life and every minute and second counts so other things become not essential anymore. I need to make important decisions and thank you to the judge for his understanding as I cannot make any contact with the public at the hearing. I do not want any regret and nothing is more important than kinship. I am fine and thank you for the support. Hope everyone has a happy and healthy family life."

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) attends an event in Macau on 11 December and expresses he has been busy working and failing to attend a dinner banquet earlier. Although he does not see Chan Wing Chun (陳榮峻) proposing marriage to Helen Ng (吳香倫), but Ruco has congratulate him. Asking about his turn, Ruco replies nobody is urging him except for the media and he is not anxious and waits for arrangement from the god. When mentioned about Bobby Au Yeung's (歐陽震華) suggestion about creating Most Popular Comedian Award, Ruco feels it should give awards to the backend staff as it is considered team efforts.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) is invited to the beauty centre as a guest on 20 November and feels the performance is satisfactory when hanging upside down to beat drums at TVB Anniversary Gala on 19 November. He also feels lucky to be given a luxury watch as a prize: "Because the chances to be picked during lucky draw is less than thrice. (Your rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) brings you luck?) Nope. Perhaps they see me working very hard. (Hope to become TV King this year?) Nope. It depends on the heaven and many artiste work well this year. Nina Paw (鮑起靜), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Joel Chan (陳山聰), Elena Kong (江美儀) and others attend the dinner party for The Unholy Alliance (同盟) series on 07 November. Nina explains she does not help to promote when The Unholy Alliance series is airing due to other work arrangements and decides to treat the team to dinner as an apology.

Nina expresses her desire to film the sequel with original cast team and asking if she wishes to work together with Ruco's rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔), she only says: "Huh?" It is uncertain if she is worried about saying something wrong and making him unhappy. Nina says it again: "He has many girlfriends." Ruco clarifies it: "Many rumoured girlfriends." He hopes to introduce Phoebe to his "mum", Nina one day and she wishes to have a daughter in-law soon.

Nancy feels elated to see Nina and they hug each other immediately. She hopes to work together with Nina again and mentioning about celebrating Myolie Wu's (胡杏兒) birthday earlier, Nancy replies it is a surprise nightwear party which makes Myolie crying with tears in happiness.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) is rumoured to co-habit with Phoebe Sin (單文柔) and asking about it again during the dinner party of The Unholy Alliance (同盟) series on 21 September: "She answers it well and we live in the same district but not co-habitation. (You teach her?) Nope. I am not as smart as her and will answer live in the same area." Ruco denied about holding hands and meeting his mother did not mean she was accepted into his family. When asked about his relationship and marriage plan, Ruco said: "No idea. I may say it but it depends on my mood. (Are you happy to date?) You keep asking me the same questions and let me think of new answers. (What new answers?) Let me tell you after my dinner."

Phoebe Sin (單文柔) attends a dinner banquet with Joyce Ngai (魏韵芝) and Stitch Yu (余思霆) but her rumoured boyfriend, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) is nowhere to be seen. Phoebe admits her workload increases, has more recognition because of the rumours and does not have any intention to make use of Ruco to film more series: "I lack of a strong foundation and will cherish any opportunity if I have capability."

Phoebe is pointed to exchange acting skills with Ruco lately and asking if she feels mad upon watching the intimate scenes between Nancy Wu (胡定欣) and Ruco, she says: "Nope. I feel they are matching and have good rapports but Ruco is less Chok in reality." Phoebe feels she is different from Nancy as it is hard to compare the drama and reality and smiles sweetly about getting along with Ruco.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) attended a brand event on 01 September and confessed his love for wearing accessories especially silver. He will buy it if the organisation committee offers any discount and asking if he will buy it for his girlfriend too, Ruco says: "It is best that she sees it by herself as my taste may not suit everybody."

Mentioning about wearing couple attire, Ruco believes it is a sweet action if wearing couple attire and accessories: "But it depends on the situation though and better to wear couple attire when holidaying."

Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Joel Chan (陳山聰), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Sammi Cheung (張秀文) are promoting The Unholy Alliance (同盟) series on 20 August. All wear shorts to play water games and Elaine and Nancy fail to fight against Joel who rebuts by chasing after them with water gun. They fall into the water eventually and Elaine tries to rip Ruco's top apart.

Ruco discloses his romance with Phoebe Sin (單文柔) during an interview with a magazine and Nancy says: "I am unaware of it and it is normal for youngsters to date. Meeting the right person is a good thing and hope everyone stays happy. (Feel upset?) Please stop writing this news after the promotion and do not write my name anymore."

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) admitted to dating Phoebe Sin (單文柔) during an interview with Ming Pao (明報) a few days ago but he changes it to they are at understanding stage now when promoting The Unholy Alliance (同盟) series, and it is unsure if the company did approve their romance. On 21 August, Phoebe promotes the show, Pearl Spectacular:Spy in the Wild (明珠絕色：野性特工隊) by Pearl and mentioning about Ruco is hesitating to announce their romance, she defends him: "He did mention before that we are at understanding, communicating and interacting stage now. (Feel unhappy as he refuses to admit your status?) We are in new generation now and does he need to give me status? We have establish consensus and happiness is most important." She emphasises it is their private affair and acknowledgement is not important.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and Nancy Wu (胡定欣) are promoting The Unholy Alliance (同盟) series on 13 August and she is underneath his body when playing games. Ruco offers to help her to carry microphone when promoting it together again and says: "It is best for me to carry microphone. Otherwise, it will cause some gossip again."

Mentioning about his rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) returns home immediately after buying lingerie, Ruco replies that the purpose is to promote the series and reject to answer unrelated questions today.

Nancy reveals she will have many fighting scenes later and have bath tub scene with Ruco as well. When mentioned about filming the tour show in Australia, Nancy says: "It is happy and unforgettable. We talk too many truth during the show and it is very touching. Hope to film second season."

As Nina exposes Ruco for admitting to dating Phoebe Sin (單文柔) and she denies it, Paw Hee Ching says: "I have 2 sons, Ruco and Joel in the series and hope they will find their happiness and true love in reality." Joel says: "Everyone knows my true love." Ruco says with embarrassment: "I know and receive the blessing."

Ruco says after the activity: "Thank you for the concern and it has been circulating for 6 months. I am an adult and know everyone is anxious about me getting a girlfriend. I feel I need to buy a book to reply whenever you ask me this question. I need to root for myself and everyone feels bored after asking the same question. I need time to see if the girl is suitable for me and think about marriage when looking for a girlfriend now. Everybody wants to look for a decent girl and I know how to manage my private affair at this age."

It is unsure if Ruco does not turn a black face and remains cool due to Nancy's absence. Asking if he wants to attend event as couple team with Nancy to earn additional income, Ruco says: "It is decided by the company and it is the best if the whole cast team earn money together."

Ruco Chan's (陳展鵬) rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) attends an event on 05 August and when mentioned about Paw Hee-ching (鮑起靜) exposed Ruco admitted to dating Phoebe, she replies she knows it after reading the news: "I guess Paw Hee-ching misunderstand him and he may introduce his girlfriend to her in the future. I am quite surprised when reading the news and have no idea what has happen."

Although they are taken photos together several times, but both continue to deny their romance and Phoebe wishes to handle her relationship in low profile and can only date after deeper understanding and communication.

Asking if she feels Ruco is not the right man, Phoebe says: "I do not say it that way. (Single or dating now?) I am placing my career as top priority and prefer to handle my relationship in low profile." She adds that she will announce it at the right time.

The audiences make them perform action scenes and it require the martial arts instructor to guide them at the scene.

Subsequently, Ruco and Nancy accept the interview together and she reveals the new series is more funnier than A Fist Within Four Walls (城寨英雄) series and she really sits on top of Ruco during the chasing. Asking if it will stir jealousy from his girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔), he immediately turns a black face and says: "I am an actor and it is unrelated to my girlfriend. Please talk about the series and avoid making embarrassment." Nobody expects Ruco is very stern and the atmosphere becomes very seriously immediately. Nancy then helps to salvage the situation but the media continues to focus on his relationship. Mentioning about Phoebe is hugging Ruco during a big scale event of TVB, he says: "We do not need to keep a distance and it is natural during a big scale event."

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Kristal Tin (田蕊妮) and Idy Chan (陳玉蓮) are selling goodie bags during a charity auction at Diamond Hill on 08 July and a male fan crosses the security line and pesters Ruco to take photo together with his hand on his shoulder.

Subsequently, Ruco expresses he does not mind it: "He follows me to the toilet as well and my manager blocks him from a few urinal away. We did chat in the toilet and I am really urgent and there is no cubicle at all. He comes from Tuen Mun to buy the goodies bag and it is good if everyone is as kind hearted as him. Although they flirt around like a couple during the interview, but they deny their romance. Phoebe is taken photos of her "growing" stomach and Ruco makes fun of her: "It is not about announcing the relationship and the news points that Phoebe is expecting. How is your stomach today? Is it disappear?" Phoebe admits she is gaining weight and needs to lose weight.

Asking if they are friends or having a relationship, Ruco does not reply directly: "She says we are at understanding stage now and her stomach is growing lately. (Dating?) Please give us some privacy and once bitten, twice shy. It is best to reply lesser and treat it as entertainment."

When asked about their relationship status again, Phoebe says: "It enrich my experience today." Asking if she sees Ruco's mother already, Ruco says: "Most of my colleagues see my mother before and she treats everyone nice. (Dating secretly?) Not talking about my personal affair and it does not help my career at all. Phoebe is a newcomer and please focus on her work. News do not help her to earn more money and perhaps I am old-fashioned. (Any chances for developments?) Not thinking about underground relationship at all. It does not matter and I treat it as entertainment."
