Asking if there was any rumours when joining Miss Hong Kong Pageant at that time, Lily said: "I remembered there was one contestant brought many snacks but she always said she was full. During the signing contract ceremony, Lily expressed that she had anticipated her joining to Lin Jian Ming's company will be described as 'granddaughter romance'. On the stage, Lily said: "Thank you to the inventor of 'granddaughter romance' and created interesting dialogues. Yesterday, the former Ms Hong Kong contestant hinted about her departure and revealed her regrets in her acting career.
She said in her Weibo, “At the awards ceremony every year, there are always a few colleagues who will say a few familiar lines of thank you speeches on stage. In my heart, I also wish that someday, I can be on that stage to say out those words. My contract has ended in early May. During this period, my workload hasn’t decreased and the crew even coordinated around my contract schedule. The company has heart and loyalty towards someone whose contract is ending.”
Lily also thanked the various executives and colleagues.
Although Lily did not specify if she had left the company or if she would renew her contract, many speculate that her words hinted about her departure.
TVB senior executive, Virginia Lok has confirmed that Lily’s contract has ended and has left the company. She said, “I hope that she will do better after she moves on. Actually, she has several considerations, but it might turn out to be good for her to try something new. I hope she continues to work hard.”
According to HK Channel, Lily and Hinson were spotted on an outing together in Myeongdong, Seoul a couple of days ago.
While Hinson was originally accompanied by a male friend, Lily arrived later on, donning a black get-up and a hat to make sure she was not spotted.
The two of them were also seen acting chummy with each other as they walked on the streets together.
However, when asked to address the dating rumours in a telephone interview later on, Hinson sounded shocked and declined to make any comment.
Lily and Hinson became good friends after working together on the reality singing competition, "The Voice of Stars". They started dating after collaborating in "Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk" amidst rumours of romance between the actress and 76-year-old businessman, Lam Kin Ming.
They admitted to their relationship after being photographed locking lips in Hinson's car last July, but only ended up announcing their breakup 14 days after the confession.
As reported on Mingpao News, a few days after the couple were seen locking lips at a furniture store, Lily revealed that she and the actor are no longer an item.
"As an artiste, I should be more careful about my behaviour in public," said Lily, who seemed to refer to the photos of them kissing.
She added, "I should know when to say no but I don't know how since I never experienced it before. My parents reprimanded me for the incident and I realised that I was also at fault."
The actress also denied that they broke up due to TVB's pressure and insisted that the two of them are still friends.
The two already knew each other when they competed on "The Voice of the Stars". A source exposed that at the time, they already had feelings for each other. It wasn't until approximately half a year ago, when Hinson broke up with his ex-girlfriend, Jenny Xu, that he and Lily started getting closer.
Afterwards, when the two cooperated on "Walk the Walk, Talk the Talk", the rumours of Lily and Lam Kin Ming's "grandfather-daughter" relationship caused Lily to be very unhappy, Hinson was by her side comforting her. This made Lily feel that there is someone who finally understands her, their relationship taking a step further, and love sparks were created. According to sources, after dating for a week, Lily Ho had already met her boyfriend's parents. The two pretend that they aren't familiar each other in front of colleagues. Until their kissing photos were exposed, then everyone finally understood.
But actually, before officially dating, it is said that Lily Ho had actually already met Hinson's parents before. His parents even praised Lily for being graceful, sophisticated and polite, and had supported the two dating already.
Lily also expressed that there is no problem with her family finances and that her father has other things to handle. When asked if Mr. Lam helped out, she said: "No, we don't need anyone's help at this time and I especially have nothing to worry about.
