Sonija expresses the filming will take place for 2 days and acting as Sam's wife to pray for a son in the temple. She will also pray for a son in reality: "I pray while film at the same time. I feel we need to relax and cannot force it to happen. I will concentrate on grooming my daughter if it does not come true."

When mentioned about Louis Koo (古天樂) was interested to film movie version, A Step into the Past (尋秦記), Sonija replied she had no idea and did not receive the invitation yet: "Been talking about it for a long time and will decide again if it is real. (Interested?) Yes and can act again after more than ten years."

40 year old Sonija Kwok suddenly revealed on Weibo yesterday, that she had experienced a miscarriage back in April. After half a year, she and her husband Zhu Shaojie put down this pain, and stood back up once again. About her unborn child, she said: "Mommy will never forget you in this lifetime!"

Take care of health, will continue to try

After experiencing this pain, Sonija and her husband are staying strong now. She said: "It has been a half a year, we will still continue to try hard. (Stop jobs and rest?) Sonija Kwok is currently shooting TVB's Lunar New Year series, Record of the Fifth Day Opening and TVB initially intended to cast her in producer Tsui Wing Hong's new series Transfer of Love Firm (傳愛事務所) co-starring TV Kings Moses Chan and Wayne Lai. The other cast includes Fala Chen, Sire Ma and Susan Tse. However, Sonija's daughter is her utmost priority, therefore she decided to turn down the series and spend her first Christmas with her daughter instead. Although TVB high executives personally called her to discuss the series, Sonija still politely turned down the job.

Reporters contacted Sonija, when asked if she turned down the new series? She admitted one of the executives did call her, but because shooting Record Fifth Day is already too exhausting and the filming schedule of the two series are too close, she decided to turn it down. She said: "I'm pretty tired, its getting better now though. Before, I was working every day. I considered my current situation, if I had a month off before I start another series, then that wouldn't be a problem, but since I can't physically handle it, then I don't want to be working like this." When speaking of the cast for Transfer of Love Firm are all good actors? Sonija said: "I know! It's a pity, every one of them are really good artists!"

It was understood, Maggie Siu was first casted in this series, but then Sonija replaced her and in the end, Sonija withdraws as well. Yesterday Sonija responded on Weibo, she stressed there is nothing she lacks in life. "In this world, there are many people and things that are worthy of our appreciation. Humans have feelings and money can't be used to weight everything. I realized that the value this 'magazine' brings out can honestly worry people. Last year Sonija Kwok married Chinese martial arts choreographer (Zhu Shaojie) and they had a daughter in May of this year. After she gave birth, she focused entirely on her daughter and didn't make a public appearance in HK until yesterday when she appeared for a promotion at a shopping mall to earn extra 'milk money'. The event organizer had two little girls go up on stage to give her flowers and kisses, which made the new mother really happy.

Sonija hasn't completely lost all her weight from the pregnancy yet, but on stage she shared her experiences as a mother. She often chats with Leila Tong about baby caring tips. She reveals her three month old daughter, Kylie, already knows how to say "L Gu" and that she got Kylie a skinhead cut. Sonija exposed her husband mixed the coffee powder and baby formula up and almost gave coffee to her daughter. Such a funny incident! When asked how her daughter is doing now? Sonija talked nonstop about her: "Kylie is so easy to take care of, she doesn't cry much and is very well behaved. At first, I didn't have any experience, so I didn't dare to give her a bath, but now I'm used to it. I don't think the childbirth and baby caring process is difficult at all. Earlier there were problems with the milk formula, but fortunately she no longer drinks from that brand. In the meantime, I won't be leaving HK for work because I can't bear to separate from my daughter for too long. I think she should be at least 6 months old before I can consider taking her to Mainland to visit her dad."

Sonija also expressed her daughter is nicknamed "LL", and does not mind shooting ads together as a 'mother-daughter' team. She said: "I often upload photos of my daughter on Weibo, so I don't mind exposing her to the public. We can shoot ads together, that's a happy thing. I also hope to try for another baby. Sonija is preparing to make a comeback on-screen, she is currently scheduled to start a new TVB series Fifth Day Revelation mid September. She stressed she didn't ask the other artists to accommodate her, so she'll have more time to be with her daughter. When she starts working, her mother will babysit Kylie. When asked if she has followed ex-boyfriend Deric Wan's recent rumor, where a Mainland model exposes that he's a love swindler? Sonija said she did hear about it, but she won't comment. As for herself, she has never been cheated by him, and it's been a long time since they been in touch.

On May 22nd, Sonija Kwok gave birth to a 6 pound, 1 ounce baby girl. She was born two weeks earlier than the expected due date, both mother and daughter are healthy. It turns out both mother and daughter are born on the same day! Sonija's birthday is on July 22nd, while her daughter's birthday is May 22nd. The baby girl looks just as pretty as her mother, especially when she smiles. When asked if her husband feared cutting the umbilical cord? She laughed: "He was pretending to be strong, but later he told me it felt like his heart jumped out. I was under anesthesia and didn't know what was going on." Asked who the 'little angel' looks more like? Sonija excitedly said: "She has her dad's eyes, other features like the nose, mouth, hands and feet looks just like me. (Then she has a little western look?) I'm 1/4 mixed too, so I think she is a little!"

Shirley Yeung attended an event and reveals she's actively earning extra income now. She also congraduated Sonija for giving birth to a cute daughter and will exchange baby caring tips in the future. When asked if she envies Sonija and her family? Shirley said awkwardly: "Having a baby is a big event in life. For a smooth process through pregnancy to labor, it is already very happy." The two pregnant mothers Sonija and Claire received special treatment by TVB having chairs nearby for them to rest. Sonija is already 7 months pregnant, but still stepped on stage with 2-inch heels and had a stronger desire to look pretty than Claire, who was just 1 month behind Sonija in her pregnancy (~6months pregnant).

It was seen Sonija's belly was not as big as Claire's, Sonija reveals her baby is a little slim: "I always think I'm fat because I gained 30 pounds. The other day when I went for my pregnancy checkup, the doctor said the baby's little belly is on the slim side, and told me to eat more nutritious powdered milk. Well I want my baby slim too, and can't accept myself being fat." She said currently her appetite hasn't changed, and she didn't really stop eating certain foods. She still eats raw/cold foods as usual, like ice cream. When asked why her family didn't stop her? Sonija laughed: "Because my husband and mother can't stop me, so I hide in the kitchen to eat! But, I stopped eating sashimi. The doctor said that's very dangerous." Claire is carrying a baby boy and is expected to due late July. She said she currently gained over 10 pounds and isn't sure if its because its her second child that her belly is growing faster. As her husband is in Mainland working, her daughter Kyra, nearly 3 years old, is often kissing her belly on her father's behalf and talks to her little brother. She looks forward to seeing her little brother born. Claire expressed she hopes for a natural birth.

When speaking of TVB Virgina Lok suspecting that Shirley Yeung has postpartum depression, Sonija urged the public to give her some space. As for herself, she's in a joyous mood and is awaiting to welcome her baby into this world. Claire said single mothers are greatly pressured and suggested that Shirley talk to friends more: "Facing such a cute baby, should think of the brighter side."

Also, Kent is not upset that The Greatness of Hero is broadcasting 3 years later. Kent expressed the series was scheduled to release 3 times before, but eventually got taken out. Asked if its because there's a problem with TVB's policies? He said he's unsure, but he heard after a major producer saw the series, he/she went to shoot another palace fighting series and so Greatness was pushed back again until this Easter. Based on Kent's description, it is suspected that the 'big producer' he referred to was former TVB producer Miu Siu Ching, who was shooting Beyond the Realm of Conscience (2009) at the time.

Kent said although the public believes this period is the 'ashes', he actually believes Easter is a good time. He believes as long as audience acknowledge the series, the efforts put into production will not be wasted. He anticipates for good results, good ratings and is personally going to strongly aid in promotions. The other male lead, Wayne Lai is currently in Hengdian shooting and wasn't able to make it back for the promotion. Earlier it was rumored the two are on bad terms? Kent reiterates that he has been surviving in showbiz for 34 years already, and has been practical towards his work all along, so these gossips must not mess with him.

Yesterday Sonija Kwok appeared at Tsim Sha Tsui for the TISSOT LIMITED EDITION T-TOUCH EXPERT CHARITY AUCTION 2012. Currently over 5 months pregnant, Sonija still had on 5-inch heels at the event; she seriously wanted to look pretty. She said: "It's pretty! I'm only standing for a little bit. (Did your husband stop you from wear it?) Nope, but he did tell me not to jump or shake all the time, haha! Because I'm always moving around. (Have you stopped working yet?) I'm not sure, for now I can still attend events. I have nothing to do at home, so I like to come out sometimes, not as boring."

Sonija reveals she is expected to due in June and her husband will accompany her through labor. As of now, her unborn baby is very high spirited: "I already got my ultrasound, the baby is a girl. She's always kicking me now. (Teach the baby in the womb?) I always listen to music at home, and chat with her too. My husband always talks to her!" She frankly said her husband is longing for a girl, and now his wish has come true, so he's very happy. As for the baby's name, she will leave it for the elders to decide.

Yesterday Sonija's body figure has clearly gotten much rounder, she exposed she's already over 130 pounds. Sonija said: "Every night during dinner, I eat one bowl after another. I got so fat looking like a ball!" She is very worried that it be hard for her to get back in shape after giving birth, she smiled and said she is currently looking for a body slimming sponsor.

Yesterday 4 months pregnant Sonija Kwok wanted to look pretty and wore 3-inch heels to an event. She had confidence nothing will happen, so she didn't tell her husband about it. Sonija is expected to due in June, her weight is increasing, but there hasn't been any significant changes in her appetite. Usually spicy and sour foods are her favorite.

Sonija is impatient to find out about her baby's gender: "I am happy with either a boy or a girl, but my husband is already worried if the baby is a girl, then when she grows up she'll have many pursuers. He even thought about when our daughter dates, he'll feel so reluctant to let her go. He really thinks too much."

Sonija reveals she already scheduled an appointment with the hospital to get a bed space: "I decided to get a C-section because I'm afraid I won't be able to bear the pain for 20 hours. My husband fears seeing terrifying scenes, but I want him to accompany me into the delivery room."

During Sonija's first trimester, her emotions went up and down, but she is already feeling better now. However, if she wanted to hit somebody, she would just hit her husband. Sonija won't expect great success from her children, she just hopes her baby will have a healthy growth. She won't overly discipline them and does not hope her children would enter the entertainment circle, a normal life is the happiest. Over the Christmas holiday, Sonija had her husband accompany her in HK, but for the Lunar New Year, she will be spending it in Beijing. In the future when she has her baby, she will live in HK.

Yesterday 3 months pregnant Sonija Kwok attended an outdoor promotional event for TVB new series L'Escargot along with the other cast Michael Tse, Linda Chung, Ron Ng, Him Law and JJ Jia. Unfortunately, JJ was 30 minutes late to the promotion, leaving everyone else in the cold waiting for her. When Michael got on stage, he directly criticized JJ.

Pregnant Sonija appeared at the promotion in a short dress, leather jacket and 3-inch boots. Since the promotion was held outdoors in a garden with strong winds, Sonija and the cast were in a very difficult situation. Linda's short skirt was blown up several times, almost made her expose herself. Also with JJ late to the event, the cast were standing in the cold waiting for 30 minutes before the event could begin.

I asked my husband first though." Asked of her baby's gender and if she's planning for a natural delivery? She expressed she's not sure yet: "I'm due in the middle of next year.
