Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and her husband, Jeremy are married for more than 2 years and their daughter, Kelly is 1 year old. She is rumoured to be expecting again lately and sharing 2 photos on 02 March (In the afternoon) on Instagram. 1 of the photos shows the ultrasound and Linda admits she is pregnant and her contract with TVB has expired.

Linda shares a message on Facebook:

Sharing my joy with you and I am pregnant again!

Thank you to god for allowing us to be parent again and she says wow upon knowing turning into an elder sister.

Honestly before announcing this happy news, my contract with TVB has ended. I cannot bear to leave all of you but my family hopes I will focus on resting and welcoming the new member. Hence, I will have limited workload now and will continue to work hard after giving birth to the new member. Haha......

Over here, I really appreciate for the support and understanding by TVB for many years. I remembered I joined showbiz through Ms Chinese International at 19 year old. I am extremely shy, lack of confidence and do not know anything at that time. It is the safe house, TVB sheltering me from rain and wind, providing me training and growing up. It allows me to understand myself, the type of talent and the direction so as to let everyone understand me and learn the way of communication.

The past 13 years experience is very enriching and the determination and hard work enable me to learn to love, show concern and turn into a mature adult. As for now, I will jump out from my comfort zone first but remain grateful. TVB, you create the "Linda Chung" today.

Ms Lok: You have been protecting me and always comment that I am too pure and innocent. You do not want anything to affect my image and resemble a mother who protects and loves me. Thank you!

Ms Tsang: You give me the first performance chance and that is Virtues of Harmony sitcom. You choose to believe me when others are in doubt. The training and motivation that you have given pushes me to the maximum that I do not expect at all. Thank you.

Linda Chung has just announced on social media that she is expecting her second child.

On March 2, the Canadian-born Hong Kong-based actress and singer posted a family photo of her with her husband and daughter along with a ultrasound of her baby in her Instagram and wrote a lengthy message. An excerpt from the post reads, “Dear friends and fans, I want to share some joyful news with you: I am pregnant again!”

In her post, Chung also mentioned that her contract with TVB had just expired and she has decided to focus on family matters. She took the opportunity to express her gratitude to TVB and all the people who have helped her for the past 13 years.

Chung, 33, tied the knot with chiropractor Jeremy Leung, who is 13 years her senior, in Vancouver, Canada in the fall of 2015. In August 2016, she gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Kelly, in B.C. Women’s Hospital & Health Centre in Vancouver.

The soft-spoken entertainer once said in an interview back in 2014 that she hoped to have four children. After winning the Miss Chinese International Pageant in 2004, she joined TVB when she was only 19 and made her acting debut in Virtues Of Harmony II. Chung has since starred in 32 TVB dramas and four films and released 11 albums.

Chung staged her first solo concert at Kowloon Bay Trade & Exhibition Centre in August 2013. In December 2014, she brought her Most Blessing Live Concert to Malaysia and played at Genting’s Arena of Stars.

She is best known for her role in Brother’s Keeper (2013), for which she won her first best actress at TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2013. Her last role in a TVB drama was as a veterinarian in rom-com K9 Cop (2016).

Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) got married in 2015 and her daughter, Kelly will turn 2 years old after August 2018. She feels surprised that she continues to receive red packets when performing during Lunar New Year this year. I am open-minded and need to think about my family. My husband allows me to work in showbiz as long as it does not affect our family. Other than attending event, Linda discloses she sings an English song for Heart of Greed 3 (溏心風暴3) series and composes a children song, Ma Mi Chen Zao Qi Shen Jiu Wang Zhu Wo (媽咪晨早起身就望住我) in Canada as well. She says: "I feel blissful when looking at my daughter wakes up with many actions and decide to compose this song and it can used for advertisement song. I do not mind filming advertisement with my daughter as it can be keep for memory."

Linda expressed she was a responsible mother: "My mother feels I cannot be a good mother but I prove her wrong and it is human nature. I help her to change diapers for the first time and her 'poo poo' is all over the carpet, but she is quite easy to take care of."

Linda disclosed she will continue her acting career and said: "I feel overjoyed to see everybody in Hong Kong and wish to sing and act now. (Celebrating Christmas in Hong Kong?) Not sure and I bought a Christmas tree with my husband and daughter in Vancouver earlier. Merry Christmas to everybody!"
