Congratulations are in order for Phoebe Sin (單文柔) and Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) as the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Quinta, today! Phoebe Sin gave birth to Quinta via C-section. The couple just celebrated Phoebe Sin’s 29th birthday the previous day.

Phoebe Sin responded to Oriental Daily News and said, “Ruco and I are very happy. Seeing “Little Piglet” (Quinta), we feel so fortunate. She’s always smiling, so cute. Hope she grows up healthy. She looks like the both of us. Ruco was with me throughout the entire process. He cut the umbilical cord. I was still not fully conscious. I heard Ruco describing the baby, I laughed.”

When asked why they chose the name Quinta, Phoebe Sin said, “My younger sister suggested it. Later on, I thought it was pretty good. Q is in between P (Phoebe) and R (Ruco). The meaning of it is that she can grow up healthy and happy under our protection.”

Hong Kong TVB heartthrob Ruco Chan tied the knot with 28-year-old budding actress Phoebe Sin on a yacht over the weekend of October 15, 2018 amid blue skies and beautiful views of HK harbour.

The 41-year-old actor-singer arrived on a speedboat before boarding the yacht for the ceremony. They exchanged their vows in the presence of 50 guests. “Although I was excited, I had a good night’s sleep as I wanted this to be a memorable moment for the two of us,” said the groom.

Chan was dressed in a black Chi­nese tunic suit with a gold dragon design on the left chest while Sin wore a high-slit red qipao and embroidered high heels. The couple followed the Chinese tradition where a red umbrella was held over the bride’s head to protect her from evil spirits as they boarded the car, accompanied by groomsmen, former ATV actors Derek To and Jerry Leung and Phoebe’s good friends, Tiffany Lau and Joyce Ngai.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and his rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) wished happy new year to TVB Executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲) on day 3 of Lunar New Year but they are discovered for taking group photo with some distance. However, they are seen intimate when visiting the former ATV film producer with Andrew Yuen (袁文傑) at the restaurant. Phoebe sits closely to Ruco and they resemble a sweet couple. Looks like their relationship is perceived stable and ever wonder if they are pressurised to get married soon?

Phoebe Sin (單文柔) wears a dress revealing her shoulder to attend the worshipping ceremony for TVB new show on 12 February. Asking if she seeks permission from her rumoured boyfriend, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), she says: "No need to and it is okay. (Any celebrations for Valentine's Day?) I will be working and have not prepared any gift." Reminding her that Ruco will be meeting his fans in Malaysia, Phoebe will be staying in Hong Kong to accompany her family and Ruco is very busy with his work. He has been attending dinner banquet to earn money lately and may not go to my house for greeting. Phoebe says: "My mum has met Ruco and feels he is quite nice, friendly and humorous. (Get to spend time together?) We do charity work together earlier."

Phoebe Sin (單文柔) is asked about receiving any flowers from her boyfriend, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) during an interview, she replies nope as the special occasion has not arrived and loves to receive flowers as she emphasises on romantic theme. Asking if she plans to bake a cake for him, Phoebe says: "I have been baking cakes lately and designing is a challenge but I will try it though. (Did you console Ruco as he walks away empty handed during the awards ceremony?) He treats it normal and does not feel unhappy. Anyway, he wins TV King before and we believe Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and Vincent Wong (王浩信) have high chances of winning."

Phoebe discloses she has dinner with her family on New Year's eve and asking if Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) is invited, she evades the question and only reveals that she texts him Happy New Year. When asked if Ruco asks her out, Phoebe says: "I will tell everyone when we are closer."

Ruco was absent from the countdown event on 31 December due to sickness and Phoebe expresses he is always healthy but changes her response after knowing his absence: "He is not very healthy and you better ask him directly as it is his personal affair." As for Lisa, she is gracious when replying and celebrates with her boyfriend, Mat Yeung (楊明) and friends together.

As Phoebe is taken photos of buying sexy lingeries to make her rumoured boyfriend, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) happy, she denies it and explains that it is for attending events in the future and TVB Anniversary Show. Phoebe says: "I am shocked and feel unhappy too. (Choosing it together with Ruco?) Nope. I buy it together with a female friend and feel clueless when my mother asks me about the news report. Mummy, please believe me and let me off!"

Phoebe Sin (單文柔) attends a dinner banquet with Joyce Ngai (魏韵芝) and Stitch Yu (余思霆) but her rumoured boyfriend, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) is nowhere to be seen. Phoebe admits her workload increases, has more recognition because of the rumours and does not have any intention to make use of Ruco to film more series: "I lack of a strong foundation and will cherish any opportunity if I have capability."

Phoebe is pointed to exchange acting skills with Ruco lately and asking if she feels mad upon watching the intimate scenes between Nancy Wu (胡定欣) and Ruco, she says: "Nope. I feel they are matching and have good rapports but Ruco is less Chok in reality." Phoebe feels she is different from Nancy as it is hard to compare the drama and reality and smiles sweetly about getting along with Ruco.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) attended a brand event on 01 September and confessed his love for wearing accessories especially silver. He will buy it if the organisation committee offers any discount and asking if he will buy it for his girlfriend too, Ruco says: "It is best that she sees it by herself as my taste may not suit everybody."

Mentioning about wearing couple attire, Ruco believes it is a sweet action if wearing couple attire and accessories: "But it depends on the situation though and better to wear couple attire when holidaying."

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) admitted to dating Phoebe Sin (單文柔) during an interview with Ming Pao (明報) a few days ago but he changes it to they are at understanding stage now when promoting The Unholy Alliance (同盟) series, and it is unsure if the company did approve their romance. On 21 August, Phoebe promotes the show, Pearl Spectacular:Spy in the Wild (明珠絕色：野性特工隊) by Pearl and mentioning about Ruco is hesitating to announce their romance, she defends him: "He did mention before that we are at understanding, communicating and interacting stage now. (Feel unhappy as he refuses to admit your status?) We are in new generation now and does he need to give me status? We have establish consensus and happiness is most important." She emphasises it is their private affair and acknowledgement is not important.

Ruco Chan's (陳展鵬) rumoured girlfriend, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) attends an event on 05 August and when mentioned about Paw Hee-ching (鮑起靜) exposed Ruco admitted to dating Phoebe, she replies she knows it after reading the news: "I guess Paw Hee-ching misunderstand him and he may introduce his girlfriend to her in the future. I am quite surprised when reading the news and have no idea what has happen."

Although they are taken photos together several times, but both continue to deny their romance and Phoebe wishes to handle her relationship in low profile and can only date after deeper understanding and communication.

Asking if she feels Ruco is not the right man, Phoebe says: "I do not say it that way. (Single or dating now?) I am placing my career as top priority and prefer to handle my relationship in low profile." She adds that she will announce it at the right time.

Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and Phoebe Sin (單文柔) attend the press conference of TVB Amazing Summer on 03 July and accept the interview together. Although they flirt around like a couple during the interview, but they deny their romance. Phoebe is taken photos of her "growing" stomach and Ruco makes fun of her: "It is not about announcing the relationship and the news points that Phoebe is expecting. How is your stomach today? Is it disappear?" Phoebe admits she is gaining weight and needs to lose weight.

When asked about their relationship status again, Phoebe says: "It enrich my experience today." Asking if she sees Ruco's mother already, Ruco says: "Most of my colleagues see my mother before and she treats everyone nice. (Dating secretly?) Not talking about my personal affair and it does not help my career at all. Phoebe is a newcomer and please focus on her work. News do not help her to earn more money and perhaps I am old-fashioned. Someone told ON.CC (東網) that Phoebe Sin (單文柔) is suspected to be expecting as she is wearing loose clothes when attending an event a few days ago. Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) defends her when accepting an interview from ON.CC (東網): "Please calm down and stop attacking people. Kindly respect my friends and colleagues."

In addition, Phoebe is pointed to move into Ruco's house and she is seen browsing around in the bookshop after an event in Tsim Sha Tsui a couple of days ago. She also looks at the furniture designs and talks on the phone with her head leaning down. However, the furniture does not catch Phoebe's eyes and she buys organic skincare products only. Phoebe then walks into a sunglasses shop but walk away empty-handed eventually.

A few days ago, both are eating together in a restaurant and she says: "We are good friends and it does not matter. Eating dinner is normal and I am prepare for any photos taken. When asked if she liked Ruco during an event on 25 April, she said: "I like his acting skills and watch his series before. He is very good and I feel he has shoulder a lot of burdens as I am a newcomer. Thank you and I know it is not easy to face the media. Please give him some privacy and focus on his work and heard that he has a hard time filming series. (Increase marks to him?) He is not bad. (How do you know each other?) We bump into each other at an event after beauty pageant and know each other slowly. (Dating at the peak?) Ruco has explained that we are celebrities and it is inconvenient to eat in the public.
