Hence, Raymond is seen meeting up with his friends when filming series in Hong Kong earlier in order to heal the pain. He returns to Xiamen on day 1 of Lunar New Year and his cousin, Lin Xia Wei (林夏薇) goes back to her hometown as well.

On 16 February, Xia Wei shared photo of herself in the luxury house in Xiamen and left a message: "Happy new year and gong xi fa chai! It feels great to return home and mum prepares many flowers to welcome me back." She also uploaded another photo showing Raymond but without Karena.

Some netizens with sharp eyes recognise Ron Ng (吳卓羲) is in the photo and ask about the reason of not celebrating with his family. However, it is uncertain if that man is their brother or Ron.

Subsequently, the netizens comment Raymond has short fingers and it is meaningless to make the same posture with the rest.

Nope and no need to tell him. (Not afraid he will scold?) Nope. How can he scold when he has no idea? (It is reported you own 200 Million assets?) That exaggerating? I am trying hard to earn money and I need to pay my property. We are financially independent."

Lin Xia Wei (林夏薇) attended a branded skin care product new store opening ceremony and showed a lot of smiles filled with happiness as a newlywed. On the 25th of July, Lin Xiawei secretly married 44-year-old elite finance professional, Jason. They held a low-key wedding at a super luxury mansion at the hilltop and now Xia Wei is officially a man's wife. During the event, Xia Wei generously accepted the media's congratulation interview: "I am happy to see everyone! In fact, it is not a secret marriage because people think it's very sudden. We don't think it's very sudden because, we have always had the thought of marriage. It's just that we are both busy and I was filming dramas! I'm happy that I've met the right person at the right time and then doing the right thing". (Dated your husband for two years?) Almost!

No plans for a baby yet

When Lin Xia Wei was asked whether it is double happiness to have a sudden marriage, she smiled and denied that it's true: "It is not true, I wish it was true!  Me and my husband really love kids, but we are both really busy. We want to spend more time as two people first. We place our career first place, because I really love my job". (There were rumors of you slowly stepping out of the entertainment circle?) I currently don't have that thought! (Has your husband's side said anything about it?) No! He really supports me with everything I do. I am really happy that he supports me, but recently he has a lot of pressure, because he isn't related to the entertainment industry. I hope my status of an artiste won't affect my family's life. (How long did the wedding preparations take?) It was quick, 2-3 weeks! Previously, I was busy with filming, after filming I had time and then found the right time for the wedding. (How did he propose to you?) Secret! In fact, being happy every day is a proposal. (Did both side of the family hurry you to have a baby?) No! My family supports me. (Does your husband have a rich asset?) We both work really hard, taking everything step-by-step. He doesn't want other things affect his work. (Marrying into the wealth?) We haven't thought about these things. Two people who are happy would get married and then start a family of their own.

Denies receiving a property after getting married

Lin Xia Wei disclosed that she immediately started work right after getting married and has no plans with Jason to go on their honeymoon. Today (31 July) at the event, Xia Wei only spoke about going back to work right after marriage, but did not speak about an increase in rewards for her job: "Rewards are a happy thing! (How many digits?) I'm not sure! (Don't have to look at the amount before working? Is your job just an interest?) I love my job, I need to work hard, be earnest and down-to-earth! (Not wearing your wedding ring today?) I've worn it on my wedding day! Don't have to wear it everyday. (How many carat is your wedding ring?) I would still be happy no matter how many carat it is, because it is one of his kindness! (Rushed cousin Raymond Lam 林峯 to get married?) You will have to ask him! When asked whether husband Jason has given her any special wedding gift, such as a property or heirloom? Xia Wei reluctantly mentioned: "I am an only daughter to my mother, I have already given it to her! (Did she recently gift you a property in Sai Kung?) I would not answer anything related to my family. I want to protect my family and I don't want them to be affected by anything.

Congratulations! Rosina kept her marriage news a secret, nor did she let anything slip to her friends. Only close family was invited to the wedding; of course her cousin, Raymond Lam, attended.

In recent years, there have been many good news in the entertainment industry. In fact, flash marriages and secret marriages have become very common. Yesterday, good news came from the television industry! 28 year old Rosina Lam had been in an underground relationship with 44 year old finance professoinal, Jason. After dating for more than a year, the two finally had their relationship finally blossomed yesterday, and secretly got married at a castle-like mansion on the peak.

According to sources, the groom, Jason, comes from a very good background. He has a Civil Engineering degree from Ohio State University. Other than being the Executive Director of Hinsang Group, he is also a board member of many companies, such as bedding brand, Casablanca, which cooperated with Rosina and Chilam Cheung for a commercial before. However, Jason has always been low-key, so even when the two were dating, the media had never been able to photograph the two together. For their wedding yesterday, the couple gave up holding a big wedding party at a hotel, but instead chose to hold it at a mansion on the peak.

Raymond Cho and Wayne Lai didn't know about the marriage

Rosina, who has always been passionate about her career, took a vacation from TVB after completing new drama "Short End of the Stick" to get ready for her wedding. She will return to work mid next month to promote another new drama "Momentary Lapse of Reason". The night before, she and the cast of "Short End of the Stick", including Nancy Wu, Wayne Lai, Raymond Cho, Edwin Siu, Power Chan and Mimi Lo, gathered for a hot pot reunion. Although Kate Tsui and Lin Xiawei have a wide gap in terms of age and experience in the industry, but facing the a performing arts graduate, Kate couldn't help but to get a few "tips" off of Lin Xiawei. Kate modestly said her acting skills is still at the aborbing stage and envies Lin Xiawei having the prior education handy. Lin Xiawei joked she "loved" Kate at first sight and thought of her like family.

Lin Xiawei: I've loved you from the start! Because you make me feel like your family.

Kate: That cute?

Lin Xiawei: Yeah! I thought me and you click well. We don't have to see each other all the time, I really do like you! Do you love me too? Haha.

Kate: I don't know how to use "love" on a girl, but I admire you too.

Lin Xiawei: I've noticed the way you dress too, you really do have a fashion sense, very simple.

Kate: Are you kidding! I just have other people to help me. Actually I personally like fashion as well. I have to go shopping once a month, next time we can go shopping together. Although I'm more boy than you and our figures aren't the same, but you're so thin, you look good in anything! I do think you're too pale, you could get a small tan. Being too pale is not good for today's healthy skin.

Lin Xiawei: Yeah, I've been shooting an costume drama lately, definitely will get tanned.

Didn't Think Would Enter Showbiz

Kate: I think you're a silly girl, that's something you and I have in common. I remember the first time I saw you, you said that I give you a feeling like family. You came over and just kept talking to me. Later we met again at TVB, you grabbed me and just kept talking and talking, you even told me the things from the bottom of your heart, but I didn't know whether you do that to everyone.

Lin Xiawei: Of course not. I just think you're so cool, not just the physical appearance, but from inside to out. You're very down to earth and feminine. After all, you're a likeable person. You're like a crush, like a magnetic field that attracts me to wanting to play with you. The first time I paid attention to you was after the film Eye in the Sky. Your short hair was so cool and the long hair you have now still matches well. Earlier you were the "drug queen" (Highs and Lows) and performed very well.

Kate: You graduated from a performing arts school, which is something, till this day, I still haven't been able to do. A shortcoming in my acting career because there bound to be something to back you up. How useful it is, nobody knows. That's why education is useful, just you don't know when it becomes useful. You also graduated from a well known school in Mainland. I really do envy you.

Lin Xiawei: Well, I actually never thought of entering this industry.

Kate: You didn't think about it, but you went to study performing arts?

Lin Xiawei: Well yeah, but I initially wanted to become a laywer, then later I participated in the national's star of tomorrow contest and surprisingly got an award. Then some people said I should go study performing arts, but in between I had to consider whether I would take the professional or cultural course. I then slowly gained interest in acting.

Kate: Same here, I started having more interest in acting later on!

Lin Xiawei: I've been following you! When I first joined TVB in 2011, I did not know anybody at my first TVB event, but I noticed you were talking to Roger Kwok about acting, and thought you were serious and modest. Although many have already praised your acting, but you still kept asking how you should be doing it. This is the attractive part about you!

Kate: Thank you for your support. As for acting, I don't really have a lot of skills. I don't really have my own style; the majority of the time, I'm just testing waters. Over the years, many of my roles have some repetition in them, so there are a lot of things I haven't tried yet. I'm still at the absorbing stage.

Lin Xiawei: I think practice is very important. In school, you know about the theory.

Graduate of Performing Arts is the First Prize

Kate: I really want to ask, I heard many Mainland artists came out of the performing arts school. The school has its own theory to teach you, making you have the ability to cry so much, no matter if the feelings are real or not. Even if there were 20 takes, its still the same. Is that true?

Lin Xiawei: Many have asked me that same question. Before when I was in theatre, I had many crying scenes, but I couldn't just do it from the start. The school teaches you to analyze the script.

Kate: Although I do have my own way to control how much I cry and to what extent my emotions should go to, but actually do you compute these things? For artists, a lot of it is about the mental state.

Lin Xiawei: So you have to get used to analyzing the script and get into the character. For crying scenes, many people would think about their sad moments. I don't cry, my personality isn't like that, so I just can't do it. Instead, I think about it in the character's perspective. This method requires more time. In a TV series, you can be living in your character's life for 1-2 months, but sometimes the situation isn't like that, you basically have no time. When I first graduated, I was very troubled, what did I actually learn? The school always wanted me to write character's dialogue, and during the summer, I had to write it line by line. At the time, I thought is that necessary? But now I realized its actually very useful.

Kate: You already knew from day one. It took me several years later to realize this!

Lin Xiawei: I said you were amazing, you didn't learn it and still know it. Just like Zhou Xu, she actually never learned it either, but she had the natural talent. She put it in practice. For an artist, its a lot about the character. Just by looking at her, she may not be tall, but she comes out with a lot of momentum.

Lin Xiawei and Rebecca Zhu are both artists from Mainland. Looking back, the girls came to HK alone to develop their acting career. They didn't know how to speak Cantonese or have a friend who they could talk about anything to. They came to HK to endure through the real world alone.

Rebecca: My first impression on you was when you first entered the industry, I watched you on TV in a skincare commercial. You were dressed all white, looking so pure. I thought you looked very friendly and gentle. After getting to know you, I realized you are actually quite positive and funny.

Lin Xiawei: Back then when you were running for Miss HK, I watched the show too. My family and I guessed you would be the winner. At the time, I thought you had temperament, you are a wise girl and knew how to dance too. I personally admire girls with a dance background. I later met you in the makeup room, I thought you were someone good to chat with.

Rebecca: At first, I thought you spoke Cantonese, but unexpectedly we started speaking Mandarin instead. You gave me a very close feeling.

Lin Xiawei: You are quite a silly girl, have so much to say and always happy. I came to HK myself for work, I was in theatre for a little over a year, but didn't know much about the HK culture. I didn't really know how to speak Cantonese, but then later I learned more from working with other colleagues.

Rebecca: I'm still bad at it. How come you are so good? In the past, any foreign or HK friends I had, they would accommodate me and speak Mandarin to me. When I was running for Miss HK, I didn't even have the courage to say my own name. After entering TVB, I really had the chance to really learn Cantonese.

Take 1: Villain Role, Gets Yelled At

Lin Xiawei: The greatest difficulty I had was I am a stage actress turned TV actress. I have to put away my exaggerating expressions and really memorize the scripts.

Rebecca: You are very natural in your acting. My first series Silver Spoons, Sterling Shackles, was really stressful. I had huge problem with the language and too many scenes. The producer said, to a newcomer it is difficult, especially memorizing my lines. They all feared I would be nervous, so they give me light pointers. They feared if they said too much, it would stress me out. Have you portrayed a role and got scolded at before?

Lin Xiawei: Yes! In Missing You, people thought I was the third party, but Linda Chung was actually the third party. In The Days of Days, I had a sassy role and I tried my best not to make people dislike my role. Actually its good to have balance. Just do your own part, others might not like it and some will have bad intentions. You must know how to distinguish.

Rebecca: Sometimes I wonder if I'm too stubborn. When people scold you, their words can be too over, but now I understand the reality of this world, have to learn to let go.

Take 2: Kenneth Ma Rumor, Treat it like Promotion

Lin Xiawei: What do you think about rumors? We don't really have much. My most classic one was with Benjamin Yuen! But he had a girlfriend! The media wrote it as if I was the third party. At the time, I really felt unhappy and really understood, this is how the entertainment circle is like.

Rebecca: I don't have that many rumors. I have never dated Clayton Li. We never started, how could we break up? Kenneth Ma's rumor was fake too, but then I'm also afraid of saying something wrong and offending his fans. He's a seun poon!

Lin Xiawei: So, how is your ideal partner like?

Rebecca: Filial to his family, otherwise he won't love you either. His looks must be ok. Nowadays, women better off having money themselves then to rely on others. Have more security!

Lin Xiawei: You're right. Filial piety is very important. I don't have any other special requirement. Women must rely on themselves. Don't lose her career, having money or not is just secondary. The most important is to treat my family and I well. An artist being in a relationship is very stressful. A partner in the industry is very troublesome, but someone outside of the industry is also difficult. We definitely won't be able to hold hands. After work, I get so tired. If I had time, I would want to sleep. Any holidays, I want to go back to Xiamen to visit my family.

Rebecca: Especially in HK. If your other half is outside of industry, its stressful too. Afterall we are public figures, its quite harsh, so gotta really think about it first!

Lin Xiawei: Any guy you go out with is your boyfriend.

Take 3: Mention Raymond Lam, Feel Pressured

Rebecca: You have a cousin Raymond Lam, does he give you more pressure?

Lin Xiawei: At first, he helped me, but later it turned into invisible pressure. I cannot avoid it. There will be people who think I rely on him. Actually I studied performing arts myself, I'm not sure how long this time period will last, but I'm doing a lot better now. The audience is starting to like my roles. I personally like to give myself pressure. I get anxious. No matter how many scripts I have to read, I will finish it all before I go to sleep. I have to work even harder and put in double the effort as others. (Enjoy your brother [Raymond] dating?) As long as he's happy. He isn't young anymore.

Rebecca: Artists are normal people too, they have a life.

Lin Xiawei: Its hard to find someone you really like. He had always been a very attentive guy, family-oriented and I'm happy for him.

Since Aimee Chan withdrew from TVB new series Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon, Lin Xiawei quickly replaces her becoming the lead actress. However, she suddenly gets a mysterious face change. In the past she had a sharp chin, but last night when she was recording for the new season of Neighborhood Treasures with Kenneth Ma, Selena Li and Pierre Ngo, reporters noticed her chin turned into V-shaped and her nose looks higher. Did she get something done on her face?

Lin Xiawei expressed she just got a new makeup artist, so her makeup is different now. Also, she's been busy shooting Kung Fu scenes for her new series and has lost a lot of weight. She denied getting plastic surgery done on her chin and nose. Asked if she's worried people might say her cousin Raymond Lam saw the same plastic surgeron as her? Lin Xiawei stressed she had always thought her chin was too pointy and hoped to have a rounder face. She does not think she needs plastic surgery, but doesn't mind the plastic surgery rumors. She's happy people think she's prettier, it's like a bonus.

Kenneth laughed and said the reason why he chose to go on this game show is because he knows he doesn't have fast reaction and he's a boring person, so he didn't have the courage to go on Super Trio. It was rumored TVB Siu Sangs are 'best sellers' in Mainland and offered high salaries, but Kenneth expressed TVB hasn't given him the opportunity yet. He just knows he received 6-7 offers from Mainland within 3 years, but he wasn't able to participate in them due to schedule conflicts and TVB wouldn't release him. He said: "Can't feel bad, after so many years in the industry, I understand whats yours is yours. You cannot force it. The entertainment industry is mystical, perhaps I'll encounter a role in the future that would help me get promoted to a higher status and increase in pay, but that may not happen either. Even if I don't have the opportunity shoot Mainland series, I still hope to be like Wayne Lai, get more advertisement jobs."

Yesterday Lin Xiawei and Tony Hung were filming TVB new series Unrequited Love for Two Cities, where they turned into punk rock band members. The costumes were outrageous. Good friend Elaine Yiu quickly grabbed Wei Wei for a picture and then teased the usual gentleman Tony: "Haha, you look like you need a beating!" On Weibo, Elaine told Wei Wei: "Next time you go out, please bring your rock look out with you!"

If you wanted to count the TVB rising FaDans, Raymond Lam's younger cousin Lin Xiawei (Wei Wei) is definitely one of them. She has already become one of TVB's heavily promoted artists just after two years of entry into the industry. Missing You just finished airing, then The Days of Days aired immediately after, you can find Lin Xiawei in both series. Wei Wei frankly expressed she is considered one of the luckier ones, since she is already getting second female lead roles just after 2 years in TVB.

In new series The Days of Days, Wei Wei plays Sonija Kwok's younger sister 'Tong Nga Man', who is a rebellious young woman. She clearly knew her sister didn't like her being with the gang leader 'So Fei', played by Raymond Wong, but she still ended up being with him just so she could irritate her sister. This is Wei Wei's first time playing a sassy role, she laughed and said her role is completely different from her in reality and thus she had some difficulty portraying the role. "I'm actually more of a tomboy in real life, so having to portray a Miss Sai Kwan/Xiguan character is pretty difficult to grasp. I just thought of it as a challenge. At the start of the series, I could sleep into the late afternoon and wake up naturally, but in reality I cannot possibly sleep and wake up myself. I was fortunate to have Sonija and Sunny Chan give me pointers on how to control the headstrong feeling in this role as we were filming." Wei Wei added in a serious tone, "I want the audience to see a solid Lin Xiawei. Actually, I have a lot of different sides and I'm very independent."

Not Just "Raymond Lam's Cousin"

Wei Wei is known as "Raymond Lam's cousin", she said this label did help promote her level of fame, but it also means she has to work harder than other artists, in order to be acknowledged by the audience. She said: "I have a very good relationship with Raymond, and I don't mind people referring me as 'Raymond Lam's cousin' because I truly am his younger cousin. Also because we're both in the same industry, it is easier for us to understand the mentality. I hope audience can see my abilities and that I'm not just 'Raymond Lam's cousin'."

Zhang Ziyi's Young See Mui

During her childhood, Wei Wei wanted to be a lawyer and it was a complete accident that she became an actress instead. When she was in high school, she participated in the "Nation Superstar of Tomorrow" contest and won the competition. Friends then encouraged her to study performing arts, so she left Xiamen alone and went to Beijing's Central Academy of Drama, where Zhang Ziyi, Vicky Zhao and Wen Jiang had studied before. She used "breakthrough" to describe her life back then, "At the time, my family did not support me at all, but I wanted to prove my abilities through action."

After she graduated in 2009, she worked as a full time actress at the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre and then entered TVB in 2011. She expressed: "At first, switching from the stage to television, I could not adapt to it. Stage acting requires exaggerated bodily motion and facial expressions, but it becomes over exaggerated when used in television series." Wei Wei's acting in her debut TVB sitcom Til Love Do Us Lie as Suen Ling On (June) still had the 'theatre' shadow, but she gradually broke away from that type of acting in her other series Missing You and The Days of Days. She was also fortunate to have participated in an over 100 episodes sitcom, where she learned a lesson. She said: "I think we shouldn't compare to other people, just focus on my own work and just so long as each performance shows improvement compared to the previous one. I'm lucky to have a bunch of good artists around me, just like The Days of Days, Raymond Wong and I have the most scenes and he brought me into character. We usually discuss on how to portray the role, which helped me get into character faster."

It's been 2 years since Wei Wei been with TVB, asked if she got the results she expected to have? She said: "That day when I entered TVB, I hoped to absorb experience outside of the theatre. In the past 2 years, every time a series broadcasts, audience would give me their opinions. Whether if those opinions are positive or negative, I am willing to accept them all. Til When Do Us Lie's Suen Ling On (June), Missing You's Ting Fan Chi (Vincci), The Days of Days' Tong Nga Man and the currently filming Unrequited Love in Two Cities' Ching Jin Jan, each role is different. In each role, I'm able to experience different lives. I am a person with high expectations on myself, I strive to do my best in every series, but this also puts invisible pressure on me. I'm currently learning to relax myself. Sometimes when I'm stressed out, I would go take a stroll at the beach and this relaxes me. My current goal is just as long as my performance improved from the previous one, then that works for me. I try to the best of my ability to do the best in every series. As for other matters, just take it slowly." She also claimed she's a person filled with positive energy and believes whatever difficulties she encounters in this industry, she will be able to get through it smoothly.

Following TVB sitcom Be Home For Dinner, TVB producer Kwan Wing Chung will be starting a new sitcom in October entitled Marriage . Separation @ Formula of Lies. This time the sitcom is not set in the office like the previous ones were, but instead focuses on family warmth and current events. For a refreshing feeling, besides casting new faces like Hanjin Tan and Lin Xiawei (Raymond Lam's cousin), TVB especially invited Eddie Cheung, who has not been in a TVB series for several years, back to take on the leading role. He'll be playing husband and wife with Kiki Sheung. As for Joyce Tang, she'll be paired with Hanjin Tan. It was understood that because Hanjin's Cantonese isn't too great, Producer Kwan especially tailored a character who came from Singapore for him. His lines will often have English mixed into it.

Former model Lin Xiawei just signed a TVB contract and will be participating in the sitcom, making it her first series. The producer said frankly Lin Xiawei is very nervous, so he is currently looking for an experienced actor to pair with her and also for the convenience of bringing her into character. As for Lin Xiawei, she accepted an interview over the phone, and revealed that she plays an artist. Producer Kwan also made arrangements for her to learn ceramics: "Before in Mainland, I filmed 2-3 series, but this is my first modern series, really feel pressured. I'm going to do all my homework for my first performance in this series, hope to try out everything."
