Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) was promoting foreign series, Nirvana In Fire (琅琊榜) series purchased by TVB at Tsuen Wan and when mentioned about bringing the birthday cake to the toilet when her boyfriend, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) was taking a shower, she said: "Because he happened to take a shower and I brought in the birthday cake and sang song to him. (Afraid he will be mad?) Nope and he dares not to."

Jennifer expressed her boyfriend needed to work on his birthday and they had the celebration 1 week earlier. When asked if she was scared about other people falling in love with Benjamin as he had been showing his muscles, Jennifer said: "He has been showing it since participating in Mr. Hong Kong contest in 2007 and I am not too worried. (Any marriage plan?) Sweet relationship means happiness but no marriage plan yet as we are focusing on our career." She added that she will not take a shower on the exact date of her birthday (October) after that incident.
