The TVB actress known as "Young Charmaine Sheh", (from When Heaven Burns) Angel Chiang have been seeing newcomer Brian Chu for several months. The media captured them on dates several times, but the two denied their relationship. A few nights ago, the two were caught holding hands, ten-fingers interlocked on a street in Causeway Bay. However, at the sight of reporters they were so frightened, they awkwardly kept their distance at once. When asked if their dating? Angel lied blatantly: "No! (You two are holding hands!) No, no. Earlier it was rumored love sparked between Angel and her elder brother from Come Home Love, Joey Law, but the reality is Angel is already with 21 year old Brian Chu, whose notable role was one of the K4 members in Yes Sir, Sorry Sir (and Linda Chung's brother in Missing You).

The other night, Linda Chung appeared on Johnson Lee's game show Office of Practical Jokes, she started off as the target for the joke, but it was later revealed actually she's the one playing the practical joke. During her act, she had all sorts of emotions, such as severe crying and pretending to faint. She pranked everyone in HK, even the magician Louis Yan, whom the joke was played on, praised Linda's great acting skills.

On episode 3 of Office of Practical Jokes, Johnson Lee and magician Louis Yan supposedly spent a whole month planning a practical joke on Linda. The script had a magic performance with Louis as Linda's instructor. During the process, Louis pretended to fall down and get injured; he made Linda mess up the magic trick and scared her with a hamster, which got her screaming in tears several times. The biggest trick was the "guillotine" magic performance, Linda was the one responsible in pulling the lever, but in the end the blade directly pierced into Johnson's neck, causing him to vomit blood. Linda was so frightened, she completely lost control and started crying severely. She shouted: "He's my boyfriend!"

Louis saw Linda on the floor crying madly and even fainted. He felt bad, thinking the joke went too far and apologized to her. At this time, one of the staff came forward and told him he had just been fooled. Linda immediately got back up and burst into laughter. She then posed happily in front of the cameras with her "V" hand gesture.

Despite its highly-anticipated premiere, TVB's major production "Beauty at War" earned surprisingly low ratings, putting it side by side with the unfortunate "Bullet Brain" which also earned poor ratings.

As reported on Jayne Stars website, the two dramas have been receiving many viewer complaints for their confusing story lines and inappropriate scenes. However, two stars became the main targets of criticisms; Tracy Ip and Sire Ma, who were both slammed for their acting and blamed for ruining the series.

Tracy, who plays a palace nurse Shu Lan in "Beauty at War", was blasted for her bland acting and poor recital of dialogue.

When asked on her thoughts about the criticisms, Tracy agreed with the viewers and stated, "I must accept different opinions if I want to improve. Even my friends told me they didn't understand what I was saying at all during the first episode. That was the very first scene I filmed after I joined the cast and I didn't have a good grasp of the character."

Adding that it was her first time playing a villain, she added, "My performance was average at best. Reading the classical Chinese dialogues drove me crazy! I had to go to the Chinese doctor three times. I couldn't eat nor sleep well and lost 10 pounds".

Meanwhile, "Bullet Brain" actress Sire Ma believes that she has put in her best efforts and saw the series as a welcomed challenge.

The actress stated, "I don't have much experience but I have already done my best and have no regrets. I can't control the ratings or the viewers' reactions. I find this series very new and refreshing. It was also a big challenge for me."

Last month 36 year old Joel Chan flew to England in hope to rescue his relationship with 24 year old Florinda Ho. After three weeks, Joel finally arrives at the London Heathrow Airport to catch his flight back to HK. Unfortunately, Florinda was no where to be seen, he was at the airport alone. He stopped for an interview with reporters.

Reporter: Broke up with Florinda?

Joel: (expressionless)

Reporter: After this trip with Florinda, is the relationship over?

Joel: (smiles) The relationship is fine.

Reporter: Coming back to HK, did you plan to marry Florinda?

Joel: (calm expression) I have never said anything about marriage.

Reporter: Patch up relationship successful?

Joel: (smiles) I never publicize my relationship issues.

Reporter: You and Florinda are doing fine?

Joel: (firm tone) There had never been issues in our relationship.

Yesterday afternoon at 5pm, Joel appeared at the HK airport alone with his luggage. He had sunglasses on, dressed very casually, didn't shave or gel his hair. He looked like he was in a pretty good mood. There were 50 reporters waiting for him at the airport, Joel stood still for pictures. When asked whether he failed on trying to reconcile with Florinda? Status Changed to "Single"

Two hours later, Florinda changed her status on Facebook. Her status went from "In a Relationship with Joel Chan" to "Single". She also announced on Weibo: "I saw reporters trying to interview my mother and Mr. Chan (Joel) getting defamed. I feel sorry for them. Recently Chapman To's wife Kristal Tin have been surrounded by gossips. It was rumored while shooting TVB new series The Tongue Sword Courtroom, a high executive gave her co-star Priscilla Wong special treatment by increasing her screen time, causing Kristal to turn into a supporting actress!
