Kenneth Ma (馬國明) finally addressed the media today around 5:10PM local Hong Kong time regarding the “OnSum Cheating” (安心偷食) scandal.

Kenneth Ma addresses the media saying:

“Actually, after I found out about this situation, I didn’t harbor any angry feelings very quickly. I immediately became worried. I was worried about this situation implicating others. I don’t wish for anyone to get hurt. I can only represent her (Jacqueline Wong) to say a little bit. She knows she did wrong. She really wants to come out and address everyone, but the company is worried about her emotions not being stable. They’re afraid she will say something wrong, so they didn’t arrange for her to address everyone. I know she just made a statement on IG. I can only say that she is still very young. She will have to face a lot of obstacles in the future, walk a lot of paths. I hope everyone gives her some space. To everyone, you don’t need to worry about me. I will continue to focus on work and continue filming. I don’t wish for this to impact the filming progress. Andy (安仔) has already said his piece. I won’t say anything further. No one has the right to speak on this matter except for Andy’s wife. I hope this matter can settle down quickly.”

Lastly, I know some reporters will interview my family. I ask that you guys give me a break and don’t scare my family members. Whether it is my mother or father, they are not in this industry. You know how reporters can fish the answer they want with their questioning. My mom will get scared when so many reporters are surrounding her with mics. This might make her say the wrong things. I hope everyone doesn’t magnify what she says. Whatever she said might have been said under very scared circumstances. I also won’t respond to what she has said already. I just hope everyone won’t scare my family because they are not in the industry and don’t know the feeling of being surrounded. This is all I have to say. There is nothing more I need to address. In the upcoming days, I will be very focused on doing my own things. Thank you everyone. I hope you will be understanding and don’t continue to magnify the situation and getting people hurt. I hope this matter will quickly settle down. Thank you.”

While reporters tried to pry for more information about Kenneth Ma’s current relationship with Jacqueline Wong as he leaves, he doesn’t answer any questions and responds, “I don’t have anything else to say. Thank you.”

Earlier today, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) had already made a statement and apologized to Kenneth Ma ((馬國明) through TVB executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲). Around 5PM local Hong Kong time, Jacqueline Wong uploaded an official statement on her Instagram account addressing the cheating scandal. She also enabled commenting on her posts again.

Her post says:

Sorry, I made a mistake. I made a very wrong and hard to forgive mistake. I feel deeply regretful and remorseful.

At this moment, I sincerely apologize to everyone who was hurt and impacted by this incident.

Committing such a serious mistake, I have no way of facing myself and don’t know how to face my family, Kenneth, friends, TVB, colleagues…I don’t dare ask for forgiveness. I only beg everyone to give those who were implicated some space.

I will seriously reflect on my faults, accept the punishments and bear the consequences.

Once again, “Sorry to everyone.”

After Andy Hui’s (許志安) teary and emotional press conference on the 16th, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) relayed her statement on the “OnSum Cheating” scandal through TVB executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲), today.

Virginia Lok said, “A lot of reporters looked for me yesterday. I said I wanted to clear my mind first to see how I should handle this situation, discuss with the company and colleagues on how to respond. I spoke to Jacqueline yesterday for a long time. She is very, very regretful and knows that she committed a really terrible mistake. She is very sorry to everyone who were impacted, especially her parents and family. She is sorry to the company, sorry to Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and his family. At this moment, her emotions haven’t stabilized yet. The company feels she needs to take a break for a while.”

As for Kenneth Ma, Virginia Lok said, “He is okay. No need to worry about him. Kenneth Ma is very good. He requested to continue working, told everyone they don’t need to yield to him. So he will continue working tonight on the location shoots for “The Excorcist Master 2.0” (降魔的II).d TVB has taken down the series from the schedule.

In the aftermath of the “OnSum Cheating” (安心偷食) scandal, Andy Hui (許志安) had immediately come forth in a press conference admitting to cheating on his wife, Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文). In the press conference, Andy Hui said he will be taking a temporary leave of absence from his work obligations to self reflect. His management company also issued a letter about the scandal and echoed Andy Hui’s sentiments. This probably means Andy Hui’s September concert in the Hong Kong coliseum will most likely be postponed.

Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) nor Kenneth Ma (馬國明) has made any statements or responded to the media. While Kenneth Ma had a day off from filming his new series, “The Exorcist’s Meter 2.0” (降魔的2.0), reporters were hounding his mother, trying to get information about him. In the interview, she sounded calm and collected and even said Kenneth Ma was at home watching a game. When asked about her impression of Jacqueline Wong, Kenneth Ma’s mom says, “Very basic. Meaning, I wouldn’t say I like her or dislike her. There’s nothing wrong with her.” Later on, it was said Kenneth Ma called his mother telling her not to say so much to the reporters.

TVB executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲), responded to Oriental Daily News and said, “I need to see how to handle this, but at this time, I am very concerned about Kenneth Ma and worried about him because he has to work. He still needs to face the media. When asked if Jacqueline Wong contacted her, she said, “Yes, but I need to clear my mind first and see how to handle this.”

While Virginia Lok hasn’t mentioned Jacqueline Wong being frozen, many sources have reported that TVB has already halted all of Jacqueline Wong’s work activities. Her series, “The Offliners” (堅離地愛堅離地), was set to air on May 13th, but it is rumore

Andy Hui held a press conference at 7PM local Hong Kong time today to address the cheating scandal with Jacqueline Wong. He only spoke for about 7 minutes.

After the press conference, Andy Hui quickly created an apology post on Instagram:

“This situation is something so wrong that can’t be forgiven. I don’t dare ask for forgiveness because I also don’t have any way of forgiving myself. I can only self reflect and using the most sincere attitude, say that I really did wrong to everyone that was impacted by this situation. I cannot escape the blame, I am very sorry!

I don’t have any excuses. To commit such a serious mistake, making my family, friends, and everyone that loves me, so disappointed, I feel very regretful and apologetic. I am also willing to bear all the consequences and responsibilities as a result of this incident.

Lastly, as a husband, I have to apologize to Sammi. This was a downright mistake. I feel remorseful and pain. Please give me time and space to learn how to change and become a new person.”

The news of Andy Hui (許志安) and Jacqueline Wong’s (黃心穎) taxi cab tryst is the number one headline among Chinese speaking countries today. While none of the impacted parties have made any statement, there are countless headlines talking about Jacqueline Wong’s past rumors in her 7 year career. Because of these rumors, it is even said Jacqueline Wong has a moniker called “Flirty Wing (穎).”

Jacqueline Wong and Kenneth Ma (馬國明) started dating in 2017 after working on the 2016 TVB series, “Inspector Gourmet” (為食神探). It is reported Jacqueline Wong initiated the first step and pursued Kenneth Ma. Prior to that she was rumored with her past co-stars such as Vincent Wong (王浩信), Lawrence Ng (吳啟華), Johnson Lee (李思捷), and an unknown second generation wealthy heir.

Of all the rumors, the most severe one was with Lawrence Ng. Jacqueline Wong played Lawrence Ng’s younger sister in the 2014 TVB series, “Tomorrow is Another Day” (再戰明天). After the series aired, there were rumors about the two and even alleged Jacqueline Wong was the cause for Lawrence Ng’s divorce. At the time, Lawrence Ng clarified the rumors and said he only treated Jacqueline Wong as a younger sister. Jacqueline Wong said she didn’t know Lawrence Ng’s wife at the time, Shi Yangzi (石洋子) and claims he didn’t mention anything about his family to her.

Jacqueline Wong also clarified, “Saying that I am the third party in their family is not fair to me or Lawrence.” When asked if she would avoid Lawrence Ng, she said, “As friends, we don’t need to avoid anything. I will not be a third party and get involved in someone’s marriage.” She also strongly emphasized she wouldn’t like married men.

According to video footage exclusive to Apple Daily HK , Hong Kong singer, Andy Hui (許志安) was caught being intimate with TVB starlet, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎), in a taxi cab. Andy Hui (52) is married to Hong Kong celebrity Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文), while Jacqueline Wong (30) is dating TVB actor, Kenneth Ma (馬國明). In an almost 16 minute clip, Andy Hui and Jacqueline Wong are accompanied by a male friend getting into a taxi cab. The male friend insists on sending Jacqueline Wong home first, but she and Andy Hui are insistent on dropping off the male friend first. At the beginning of the clip, Jacqueline Wong is even heard dropping Chinese curse words at the male friend.

After the male friend is dropped off, Jacqueline Wong and Andy Hui start getting intimate and touchy with each other. The both of them gave the same address location to the taxi driver after their friend left. They are seen holding hands and kissing each other non-stop. The video shows Andy Hui’s hand in between Jacqueline Wong’s thighs quite a few times, while Jacqueline Wong’s hands can be seen on Andy Hui’s lap as well.

According to an insider tip given to Apple Daily HK, it is reported Jacqueline Wong met Andy Hui through a crew member of his. The insider says, “Jacqueline is smart. Once she sees Andy, she turns into a mini fan. Andy’s impression of her is also very good. Not long after, Jacqueline started going to the same gym as Andy. When Andy had a concert in Macau last year, Jacqueline also went to support him. Afterwards, she even posted a picture of them together and a clip of his performance on IG.” It is said they have maintained their “secret relationship” for almost two years.

Jacqueline Wong has disabled the comments on her Instagram, while Andy Hui has not. Jacqueline Wong has posted several pictures with Andy Hui on her Instagram before. What’s worse is that Jacqueline Wong and Sammi Cheng are also friends as there is a clip of them working out together on Sammi Cheng’s account. Jacqueline Wong had also left a comment on one of Sammi Cheng’s posts from a week ago.
