Congratulations are in order for Aaron Kwok (郭富城) and his wife, Moka Fang (方媛), as he announced the birth of their second baby! Today is also a special day because the baby’s birth falls on the couple’s second wedding anniversary. Aaron Kwok posted a picture of his family holding the new born baby’s hand on his social media accounts with the following message:

“I am very happy today. It’s a special day. I want to share with everyone our family’s happy news: That is Chantelle became an older sister. Our second treasure is healthy and cute. Mommy has suffered! Starting from today, our family will happily continue on as four. Once again, thanks everyone for their blessings. Thankful!”

Aaron Kwok didn’t release the sex of the baby or the name, but based on the pink background in both pictures, it’s highly likely a baby girl.

Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文) finally addressed her husband, Andy Hui’s (許志安), cheating scandal (安心偷食) with TVB actress, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) in an Instagram post she posted today. Everyone has been waiting for Sammi Cheng to respond to the comments as all the other parties had already addressed the media in some format. In Sammi Cheng’s post, she chose to forgive Andy Hui and expresses she won’t give up on each other. Many celebrities left encouraging comments in support of Sammi Cheng.

“This incident is one of the most important lessons of our marriage. During this time, we experienced emotional ups and downs together. We also deeply talked about this incident for a very long time. This is a lesson between us both and also a lesson we must learn on the path of our marriage in the future. We went very deep and far into our marriage. Aside from giving each other happiness and warmth in our marriage, along the way there were also mistakes and forgiveness from each other. We always say who doesn’t have a past? But this is actually the case.

The most important thing out of this incident is to further experience the true meaning of marriage. Happiness isn’t smooth sailing, in between, there will be trials for us to experience the ups and downs together. In order for our relationship as husband and wife to grow and move forward, we need to go deeper into each other’s inner feelings and heart. We will strongly face each other’s weaknesses. Kenneth Ma (馬國明) finally addressed the media today around 5:10PM local Hong Kong time regarding the “OnSum Cheating” (安心偷食) scandal.

Kenneth Ma addresses the media saying:

“Actually, after I found out about this situation, I didn’t harbor any angry feelings very quickly. I immediately became worried. I was worried about this situation implicating others. I don’t wish for anyone to get hurt. I can only represent her (Jacqueline Wong) to say a little bit. She knows she did wrong. She really wants to come out and address everyone, but the company is worried about her emotions not being stable. They’re afraid she will say something wrong, so they didn’t arrange for her to address everyone. I know she just made a statement on IG. I can only say that she is still very young. She will have to face a lot of obstacles in the future, walk a lot of paths. I hope everyone gives her some space. To everyone, you don’t need to worry about me. I will continue to focus on work and continue filming. I don’t wish for this to impact the filming progress. Andy (安仔) has already said his piece. I won’t say anything further. No one has the right to speak on this matter except for Andy’s wife. I hope this matter can settle down quickly.”

While reporters tried to pry for more information about Kenneth Ma’s current relationship with Jacqueline Wong as he leaves, he doesn’t answer any questions and responds, “I don’t have anything else to say. Thank you.”   

Earlier today, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) had already made a statement and apologized to Kenneth Ma ((馬國明) through TVB executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲). Around 5PM local Hong Kong time, Jacqueline Wong uploaded an official statement on her Instagram account addressing the cheating scandal. She also enabled commenting on her posts again.

Her post says:

Sorry, I made a mistake. I made a very wrong and hard to forgive mistake. I feel deeply regretful and remorseful.

At this moment, I sincerely apologize to everyone who was hurt and impacted by this incident.

Committing such a serious mistake, I have no way of facing myself and don’t know how to face my family, Kenneth, friends, TVB, colleagues…I don’t dare ask for forgiveness. I only beg everyone to give those who were implicated some space.

I will seriously reflect on my faults, accept the punishments and bear the consequences.

Once again, “Sorry to everyone.”

After Andy Hui’s (許志安) teary and emotional press conference on the 16th, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) relayed her statement on the “OnSum Cheating” scandal through TVB executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲), today.

Virginia Lok said, “A lot of reporters looked for me yesterday. I said I wanted to clear my mind first to see how I should handle this situation, discuss with the company and colleagues on how to respond. I spoke to Jacqueline yesterday for a long time. She is very, very regretful and knows that she committed a really terrible mistake. She is very sorry to everyone who were impacted, especially her parents and family. She is sorry to the company, sorry to Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and his family. At this moment, her emotions haven’t stabilized yet. The company feels she needs to take a break for a while.”

As for Kenneth Ma, Virginia Lok said, “He is okay. No need to worry about him. Kenneth Ma is very good. He requested to continue working, told everyone they don’t need to yield to him. So he will continue working tonight on the location shoots for “The Excorcist Master 2.0” (降魔的II).d TVB has taken down the series from the schedule.

In the aftermath of the “OnSum Cheating” (安心偷食) scandal, Andy Hui (許志安) had immediately come forth in a press conference admitting to cheating on his wife, Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文). In the press conference, Andy Hui said he will be taking a temporary leave of absence from his work obligations to self reflect. His management company also issued a letter about the scandal and echoed Andy Hui’s sentiments. This probably means Andy Hui’s September concert in the Hong Kong coliseum will most likely be postponed.

Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) nor Kenneth Ma (馬國明) has made any statements or responded to the media. While Kenneth Ma had a day off from filming his new series, “The Exorcist’s Meter 2.0” (降魔的2.0), reporters were hounding his mother, trying to get information about him. In the interview, she sounded calm and collected and even said Kenneth Ma was at home watching a game. When asked about her impression of Jacqueline Wong, Kenneth Ma’s mom says, “Very basic. Meaning, I wouldn’t say I like her or dislike her. There’s nothing wrong with her.” Later on, it was said Kenneth Ma called his mother telling her not to say so much to the reporters.

TVB executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲), responded to Oriental Daily News and said, “I need to see how to handle this, but at this time, I am very concerned about Kenneth Ma and worried about him because he has to work. He still needs to face the media. When asked if Jacqueline Wong contacted her, she said, “Yes, but I need to clear my mind first and see how to handle this.”

While Virginia Lok hasn’t mentioned Jacqueline Wong being frozen, many sources have reported that TVB has already halted all of Jacqueline Wong’s work activities. Her series, “The Offliners” (堅離地愛堅離地), was set to air on May 13th, but it is rumore

Andy Hui held a press conference at 7PM local Hong Kong time today to address the cheating scandal with Jacqueline Wong. He only spoke for about 7 minutes.

After the press conference, Andy Hui quickly created an apology post on Instagram:

“This situation is something so wrong that can’t be forgiven. I don’t dare ask for forgiveness because I also don’t have any way of forgiving myself. I can only self reflect and using the most sincere attitude, say that I really did wrong to everyone that was impacted by this situation. I cannot escape the blame, I am very sorry!

I don’t have any excuses. To commit such a serious mistake, making my family, friends, and everyone that loves me, so disappointed, I feel very regretful and apologetic. I am also willing to bear all the consequences and responsibilities as a result of this incident.

Lastly, as a husband, I have to apologize to Sammi. This was a downright mistake. I feel remorseful and pain. Please give me time and space to learn how to change and become a new person.”
