Last year Niki Chow terminated her contract with BMA early in order to shoot TVB series
Bottled Passion, since the company is part of HKRIA, which was in a royalty dispute with TVB at the time. To shoot the series, she rather give up her BMA contract and signed a two year per-series contract with TVB. As Niki has now regained her freedom again, she has been approached by several entertainment companies to discuss a new contract. Her good friend Charlene Choi (Ah Sa) was also the middle person to help her arrange a meeting with EEG. However, the discussions did not work out because the goals of the two parties differed. It was understood, Niki finally chose to join East Asia, becoming a colleague of Heavenly Kings Leon Lai and Andy Lau, Sammi Cheng, Andy Hui and Miriam Yeung. Rumors circulated in the public that Niki plans to set Shu Qi as a goal, who is leaving the company in October, and will go full throttle in her development in the film industry.
Loyal to TVBNiki still loves acting, after her last series
Sergeant Tabloid, she made it clear to East Asia that she hopes to shoot 1-2 series a year. Other East Asia artists like William So and Wilfred Lau turned to other TV stations, but Niki insists on staying with TVB and will fully charge into the film industry at the same time. Following her 2010 release of EP
F.L.Y, Niki also plans to return as a singer and release a full studio album.
