As reported on Kuang Ai TVB magazine, the actor revealed that since purchasing his first home in Sham Tseng which cost HKD 9 million (USD 1,160,649) a few months ago, he has learned to make investments and is now planning to purchase an office space as well as two more flats for rental purposes.
Disclosing his goal to be a successful landlord, Ron expressed, "I always knew the importance of property and real estate investments since I was young, but somehow I was more interested in cars."
"But then I realised that I spent a lot of money on household items, cars, and furnishings. I even spent millions of dollars on a new car once, which made me unable to save enough money to buy my own place."
He also revealed that the decision to invest in properties was influenced by two important women in his life – his mother, and his manager.
He stated, "They kept complaining about my car hobbies and told me that I should buy a house instead of renting one. They said that if one day when I don't get filming offers anymore, I will at least have a house!"
