Myolie has filmed up to seven dramas in China and garnered much support there. Insiders revealed she could be paid up to RMB$150,000 (approximately S$30,000) an episode in China compared to HK$20,000 (approximately S$3,000) in TVB.
The schedule for filming in China is also regular with more time for celebrities to rest. The 34-year-old has been mingling with Chinese producers and even sought opinions from her Chinese friends on whether she should further her career there.
Most have expressed support towards that option and entertainment companies from Beijing have even offered her a place.
However, Myolie is still weighing her options and said, 'Both TVB and some Chinese companies have talked to me but it is too early to think of this. Furthermore, I still have some time in TVB and I have a good work relationship with the company.'
